STRENGTHS
- Forged Of Mandalore: This kal has been crafted by a skilled Mandalorian smith, Gwyneira Krayt. It is a beskar blade, with more to it than even its metal, thanks to the skilled smith. As a beskar blade, this Kal is powerful and able to repel even blaster bolts and lightsabers.
- Vibroblade: The vibroblade technology within the blade allows for far sharper cutting potential than a normal blade.
- Plasma Cutter: A secret weapon. A plasma edge can be activated on the kal, allowing it to repel the strongest attacks and to cut through solid metal.
- Smol: The small size of the kal allows for skilled usage in tight spaces; and for the easiest maneuverability and agility with the blade.
WEAKNESSES
- Technologically Complicated: The combined inclusions of vibrotech and a plasma cutter makes for a complex and difficult to manage weapon. Sure, a talented engineer such as the weapon's crafter could learn the weapon's design, but anyone else would find it greatly difficult to perform maintenance or fix a broken part of the weapon.
- Big Boom: If the tech inside the weapon's hilt is somehow damaged, the compact tech in the weapon will spark a chain reaction resulting in the weapon completely exploding.
- Overload: The plasma edge is only able to be activated in short bursts. Too frequent or long activated will overload the weapon's entire system and render both the plasma cutter and vibrotech internally fried.
- Range: Melee knife, meet galaxy full of vast ranged weapons.
- Smol: The small size of the kal has its advantages, but also has disadvantages. The reach of the blade is very short compared to longer weapons.
DESCRIPTION
Based on the designs of numerous kals, vibroblades, and Chiss machinations, this knife was forged by Gwyneira Krayt for her daughter, Elise Krayt. The weapon was developed not only with Elise's fighting style in mind, but with tribute to her cultural influencers as well. This is a solid, fine kal which will serve the young Mandalorian very well.
