ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Silent Predator: The Tra'galaar's powerful electronic warfare systems, cloaking device and passive stealth measures (both against sensors and the force) make it damn near invisible against it's background no matter who is looking, enabling the pilots to set the pace of engagements, striking and fading at their leisure.
  • Fast, Agile Hunter: The Tra'galaar is both fast and agile, and with its SLAM and Redalur system, it can boost it's maneuverability and speed further, albeit at the expense of other systems.
  • Heavily Armed, Heavily Armored: The Tra'galaar is built like a tank, designed to take an absolute punishment from its enemies. Fortunately, it doesn't have to. The Tra'galaar's powerful weapons enable it to hit hard against everything from other fighters to enemy capital ships.
  • Keen Eyes: The fighter has a powerful sensor suite, including anti-stealth sensors that when combined with it's Manda tactical battlenet module give it considerable tracking and targeting capabilities, as well a notable ability to be able to analyze enemy craft to potentially attempt to ascertain any sort of weaknesses that it might have.
  • What Gravity Well?: The fighter's Hyperwave Inertial Momentum Sustainer enable it to avoid being pulled out of hyperspace.
WEAKNESSES
  • Large: At 19.5x18x6 meters, the Tra'galaar is not a small fighter, and should an enemy fighter get close enough to where it's powerful passive and active stealth measures combined with it's advanced electronic warfare suite no longer matter, then the size of the fighter will only be to its detriment.
  • Boom: A penetrating shot into the ammunition storage for the fighter's ordnance launchers that strike with sufficient energy to set off one of the fighter's missiles are likely to blow the entire fighter into haran and quite possibly back.
  • Outnumbered: There were only four Tra'galaars made, and as so often happens for starfighter pilots of Strill Securities, this often means that they end up outnumbered. Eventually, even against a craft like this, quantity ends up being a quality of its own.
  • What Force?: With the voidstone plated hull, there is no way the pilots of the craft can benefit from allies who're force sensitive in any way whatsoever. Abilities that are a great benefit like battle meditation are essentially pointless to the pilots of these craft.
  • Shield, Cloak or Field Disruptor: The fighter cannot have it's cloaking device, shield generator and field disruptor on at the same time and must choose one system. Though switching between them is fast, there is still enough of a delay that keen enemies can potentially exploit the open window.
  • Full Power to Maneuvering Array: With full power to the maneuvering array, the shields do not have enough power to stay active.
DESCRIPTION
"The black and gold means something, it's time to teach our enemies what that is."
- Strill Securities Tra'ibahikan squadron leader Aenarr Kyrr to the rest of Tra'ibahikan squadron on their first flight of the Tra'galaar.

The absolute pinnacle of the company's fighter design capabilities, the Tra'galaar was initially intended as a testbed for advanced technologies that was converted into a single production run of four fighters for Strill Securities elite Tra'ibahikan squadron. With the Tra'galaar, the pilots of Tra'ibahikan truly became the namesake of their squadron. They put the craft to deadly use to buy time for the evacuation during the Battle for Breshig during the Battle for the Mandalore Sector during the Sith Empire's invasion, and have reminded the enemies of numerous clients why sometimes it's safer to adopt a more legal career path, especially when Tra'ibahikan squadron's on the job.
Armed with the very best starfighter grade weapon systems produced by the company, the Tra'ibahikan is rarely ever outmatched by other fighters as far as firepower is concerned. Six of the company's fighter-grade accelerator cannons put an extremely powerful, versatile weapon system not dependant on an ammunition supply at the hands of the pilot. When it comes to enemy capital ships, the fighter can carry up to six assault grade missiles. To retain the fighter's stealth profile, all ordnance loaded aboard the fighter is coated in the company's stealth ablative coating. This has the added advantage of all but ensuring that force sensitive enemies do not see the fighter's ordnance coming, and if they do, that there's little they can do about it using their preternatural abilities. This does however mean that the fighter's pilots can never benefit from friendly force user's abilities either. Though this was not originally an issue, recent years have shown that this is an issue. The company has yet to come up with a solution.
Being manufactured by a Mandalorian company, it should come as no surprise that the fighter was designed to be able to take an absolute beating. A powerful, layered shield generator with multiple projection modes augments Stesr'gar composite armor and a thermal gel and agrinium hull liner. Unlike the company's other fighters, the hull itself is also made from Stesr'gar. In addition, the hull plate composite features voidstone, rendering it more or less proof against the preternatural abilities granted to force users that could potentially give force using pilots an edge against the Tra'galaar. That said, that is hardly the fighter's first defence against enemies.
The Tra'galaar was designed for stealth, and to that end it features a powerful electronic warfare suite designed to reduce the fighter's low signature even further. As far as active measures are concerned, the fighter's cloaking device is extremely potent, using the fighter's own advanced sensor suite to blend into the environment that much better. The maneuvering systems and engines are also low profile, preventing either from giving away the fighter. A durinium hull liner and reflec-based shadowskin coating makes the fighter nigh on invisible, and a GAM keeps it from giving itself away to the main nemesis of all stealth fighters, mass-detectors.
As an added benefit, the fighter's own sensor and comms suite are not only long ranged, but extremely powerful. This ensures effective coordination, whether this is with other fighters to ensure that they aren't outmaneuvered by enemy squadrons, their carrier to ensure that they keep in touch with their commanding officer or whatever craft they're escorting or operating alongside. The system's long ranged targeting is especially important for the Kyr'galaar, such that the fighter can make full use of the long range of its various weapon systems. A gemcutter and mass-detector of its own mean that the fighter can hunt it's own kind that have not taken steps to ensure that they are not detected by such measures.
At 19.5x18x6 meters, the Tra'galaar is not a small fighter, and should an enemy fighter get close enough to where it's powerful passive and active stealth measures combined with it's advanced electronic warfare suite no longer matter, then the size of the fighter will only be to its detriment. This large frame makes the fighter's large ammunition store a bigger concern than it would be on a notably smaller fighter. A penetrating shot into the ammunition storage for the fighter's ordnance launchers that strike with sufficient energy to set off one of the fighter's missiles are likely to blow the entire fighter into haran and quite possibly back. Finally, pilots have to make careful use of the craft's various subsystems. The fighter cannot have it's cloaking device, shield generator and field disruptor on at the same time and must choose one system. Though switching between them is fast, there is still enough of a delay that keen enemies can potentially exploit the open window.
