OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create an easily applicable stealth coating for a variety of purposes to both hide and object from and protect it from the force.
  • Permissions: N/A.
  • Primary Source: Voidstone, Duraplast, Reflec, Taozin Nodule and Shadowskin.
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Breshig War Forge Consolidated.
  • Affiliation: Select Breshig War Forge Consolidated projects.
  • Market Status: Closed-Market.
  • Model: Prudii'gar'ika Stealth Ablative Coating.
  • Modularity: Prudii'gar'ika, or little shadow iron, is designed to be applied in two stages. The first is a via electroplating, and the second part is a spray on polymer coat. This can theoretically be done to any material capable of being electroplated.
  • Production: Semi-Unique.
  • Material:
PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Two-part Ablative Coating.
  • Weight: Average.
  • Color: Pitch black.
  • Resistances:
    • Energy: High.
    • Kinetic: High.
    • Lightsabers: High.
    • Other:
      • EMP/Ion: High.
      • Radiation: High.
      • The Force: Extreme.
      • Disruptors: Very Low.
      • Telepathy, Non-force Based: None.
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Minimal Resource Expenditure: Because the process applies only a very thin layer of voidstone and cloned Taozin skin, expenditure of expensive materials is kept to an absolute minimum.
STRENGTHS
  • Nigh On Invisible: Objects coated in Prudii'gar'ika are extremely stealthy, both to force detection and detection by sensors.
  • Extremely Thin Layer: The layer of Prudii'gar'ika is extremely thin, making it unobtrusive to the object's original purpose.
  • Resilient: Though extremely thin, the layer of Prudii'gar'ika is quite resilient to most sources of damage, and is nigh on impossible to remove.
  • The Force: The Prudii'gar'ika makes whatever it's coated in essentially immune to the predations of the force.
WEAKNESSES
  • Extremely Limited Issue: The Prudii'gar'ika see's extremely limited issue, and is only used by select elite units of Strill Securities or a scant few company projects.
  • Disruptors: Like they do with most things, Disruptors care little for the protective qualities of Prudii'gar'ika.
  • Mass-Detectors: Prudii'gar'ika doesn't prevent the object from being hidden by mass-detectors and other sensors that operate on a similar basis.
  • Hard to See, Not Impossible: The object coated in Prudii'gar'ika does not becoming invisible, just extremely hard to detect with either the naked eye.
  • The Force: Whatever the object coated in Prudii'gar'ika is, it can no longer benefit from the force thanks to the voidstone.
DESCRIPTION
"Shab around with our missiles, will you? We'll see about that."
- Strill Securities Tra'ibahikan squadron leader Aenarr Kyrr
Prudii'gar'ika was developed specifically for use on 'disposable' assets, such as probes and as a stop gap solution for reconnaissance droids, but saw use by Strill Securities' elite Tra'ibahikan squadron, who was tired of force users' preternatural abilities and senses giving them that extra edge. Normally, the materials used in the coating would be prohibitively expensive to use in such a manner, however, the smiths at Breshig War Forge Consolidated developed a duraplast-void stone alloy that could be electroplated on as an extremely thin layer onto a durinium base. To improve the stealth profile, they added a Taozin skin based wrap molecularly bonded onto the surface, covered in a Reflec based Shadowskin sprayed on top.
The resulting material was nigh on invisible, both to forced-based detection as well as detection by sensors. Mass-detectors were the one surefire way in testing to be able to detect the object coated in Prudii'gar'ika. The extremely thin layer of Prudii'gar'ika was also extremely thin, making it unobtrusive, and was nigh on impossible to remove and notable resilient to most sources of damage in testing. Disruptors, naturally proved to still be very effective against the material, especially in the quantities applied. To the naked eye, however, Prudii'gar'ika was still somewhat visible up close, but at those ranges detection by the naked eye wasn't always a concern.
Given the distinct lack of force users in the company's employ, the fact that whatever was coated in Prudii'gar'ika could no longer benefit from the force and force based abilities was not a concern.
