OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To flesh out the squadron that operates the Tra'galaar Stealth Multi-role Fighters.
  • Role: Elite special operations fighter squadron for Strill Securities.
  • Permissions: N/A.

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Tra'ibahikan Squadron.
  • Affiliation: Strill Securities, contracted to the CIS.
  • Classification: Special Operations Fighter Squadron.
  • Description: To the uninitiated, Tra'ibahikan squadron are just another group of pilots who exude an air of confidence and suave style, almost as if they stepped off the frame of a holovid series. That would be a deadly error, however, as each pilot was carefully chosen from Strill Securities' ramikad programs for their aptitude they showed for piloting, and trained carefully by the company's special operations pilots to become the very best they can.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
Strengths:
  • Expert Pilot: Each member of Tra'ibahikan squadron is a product of some of the best training, about three quarters of a decade of experience behind them and impressive natural aptitude.
  • Elite Commandos: Adding onto the training that all Mandalorians receive prior to their verd'goten is three years of some of the harshest training that any Mandalorian unit receives. They're trained to ensure that they're the best of the best, and Vuhyr'yalilyr units spend two years after that serving with a veteran unit to ensure that they're the best. There are no Vuhyr'yalilyr units that are 'green'. Given their past as Vuhyr'yaliyr ramikade, this goes for the pilots of Tra'ibahikan as well.
  • Nigh On Superhuman: The 'Rammikad' implant that all commandos receive enhances their natural physical prowess to several times what is naturally possible, and this is only augmented by the CNT muscle fibres in their armor's undersuit.
Weaknesses:
  • One for All, and One For All: When deployed behind enemy lines or in the wake of an attack, the only ones that they can rely on are usually themselves. Four craft or four commandos, as capable as they are, won't last long against a determined enemy assault.
  • Support: The tip of the spear is useless without the rest of the blade and the haft. In a major engagement, while the squadron is more than capable of neutralizing priority targets, without support that'll be all they'll do before being forced to withdraw.
  • Supplies: More often than not, the squadron only has what they can carry into battle with them on board their fighters, or on their person, limiting their endurance.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Not every contract the company took involved tedious peacekeeping operations, putting down rebellions, fighting other people's wars or dealing with the occasional pirate with an overinflated sense of self worth. Some contracts required a more subtle touch. Occasionally, these contracts called for the combined talents of the company's elite special operation squadron pilots. This would usually involve a joint operation between the company's pilots and its ramikade. Deployment costs, however, tended to be hefty given the necessity of deploying both stealth capable transports for the ramikade and the pilots and their craft.
To attempt to solve this problem with the creation of a new type of unit, the company put out a call for volunteers from their ramikade, particularly those who'd shown particularly impressive piloting abilities. The volunteers were given to the company's flight trainers and elite pilots with the instructions of making them pilots. In the end, few remained who met the extremely high standards expected, barely more than two dozen pilots, who were quickly sorted into squadrons. One of these squadrons was Tra'ibahikan.
Aenarr Kyrr, Saviin Kote, Mar Netra and Rang Nihut'tyr were all members of the company's elite Vuhyr'yaliyr ramikade previously, and got along well. The four of them made a name for themselves hunting various pirate groups and performing sabotage for a variety of the company's clients. When things between Breshig and it's neighbors got complicated, contingency plans were put in for pre-emptive strikes to potentially delay or prevent an attack. It was Tra'ibahikan squadron who first detected the Sith Fleet when they invaded Breshig, and Tra'ibahikan squadron who flew sortie after sortie to buy time for the evacuation.
As the fleet jumped from shadow port to shadow port, it was Tra'ibahikan squadron among few others who flew jumped in ahead of the fleet to ensure that there was no trap waiting for them, and were the first to jump to Monastery before the rest of the fleet. However, Tra'ibahikan has stayed with the company fleet since instead of flying out to support the company's ground contingent, and it was only after Shuklaar Kyrdol's deal with Arctus Silmar got them Breshig did they leave the fleet to work the CIS contract, starting with aiding the Silver Jedi against the Bryn'adul at Circumtore.

This is a nicely-detailed submission, and a looooooooooong list of armaments. I'm assuming that they're not bringing every single one of these guns and explosives with them on every mission, or they wouldn't be able to move, much less see out of their cockpits.

Codex judges aren't arbiters of balance, so I'm going to go ahead and approve this despite its high-power nature, but please do be careful how you use them. You've described them very nicely as a highly-lethal commando unit that can swing the tide of a battle with targeted strikes, but if they start winning mass battles single-handed, they'll probably end up reported for balance concerns.
