~"You do not need to die today, turn back now."~

The voice was as dark as this place was, and any other day, he would consider the words, but the reason why Connell was here was a lot more important than his life. He had to continue, the young Jedi Knight was not afraid, maybe he had a case of "the willies" but that was it, no he was not afraid though. Was this some young foolish bravado? Maybe, but he was bound to the Code, and whatever is locked up is for a reason.

~Are you sure that you will survive this? There is a reason why that vault is locked up.~

He spoke back through the Force. This powerful presence had a code about him as well, he did not appear to want to do battle. Maybe he could be talked out of this altogether. Connell would not press his luck, but he would not turn back. So Vanagor pressed forward. The presence he was feeling, the initial presence, not the other one that entered the fray was getting stronger, that meant he was getting closer.

Further down the halls of this facility.

The smell was getting more and more dense, the smell of death, of fear. This was going to take a strong moral compass. He could not let himself be affected no matter how much more difficult it was getting to do so. He could feel something watching him, perhaps it was the source of the low iridescent growl that echoed through the halls, or maybe yet something else. Perhaps that beast had friends.

Mama said there’ll be days like this…

Darth Strosius sighed as he saw the slumped and seemingly unconscious form of the other former apprentice of the Pale Assassin, his head dipping for a moment as he pressed his fist against his mask where his forehead would be. "We haven't the time for dawdling." He muttered under his breath as his gaze shifted back to the demolitions expert working on the breaching charge. He knew that the Heir of Marr had been in a state of difficulty recently, wracked both by his shaken will and the new presence that had seemingly taken root in both of their minds.

The elder apprentice had been able to ward off the remnants of his master far more efficiently, for now at least, but he knew well enough how hard they could strike when they wanted to. He was still having little bouts of foreign memories and movements himself, some of which he couldn't help but reenact in order to force the presence back into the depths of his mind. Not that anyone had to know that of course.

The news of landings being made already did little to ease his own nerves about the whole mission, but it did seem to spur the demolitions trooper to speed up their work at the very least. "Wait there's a what?" An avalanche barreling down on them in this Force-forsaken corridor was the last thing that they needed. It wasn't long before the roar of moving snow met his ears as it echoed down the silent halls and made the movements of the trooper planting the charge all the more frantic, the news of the Jedi being closer than expected doing little to calm the soldier,

Darth Strosius turned back to look at Malum only to find the other Sith seemingly gone from sight despite still speaking. They really were becoming their master. Finally the trooper finished planting the charge and the squad moved just far enough away to detonate it and open up a rather steep staircase. The masked Sith ignited his lightsaber in one hand and drew his sword in the other as he led the way down into the dark depths of the academy. "Move it! I want to find defensive positions and be ready to greet the Jedi now!"

The summoning of Chaos to this place was unwise. Anak had harrowed hell, taken his place as its new representative and Lord. The spells that conjured these Cerebrus like raiders made Him laugh:

Holding out his Soul Sword he began to suck them in, and increase his power.

You summon my legions? Hahahahahaha!

She even pricked her own blood,

Oooh! Sealed with blood.

He swirled the flames of Chaos around him as the Boatmen were forced to the ground, their emerald hue spirits crying out in agony and they broke apart into great green particles that rained in the air. His boots stepped in grains of emerald grain, holding his Soul Sword, he then deactivated his weapon. The Jedi had stirred, to see this spectral spectacle, and Anak did not pay him heed.

I have found what I was looking for..

The Son of Hell left the now burning library, and headed out into the cold outer world. Far on the slopes of the snowy mountains his ship, The Scythe, an Infiltrator Class sat. The ramp fell before The Reigning Lord Inferno, who had accessed his powers at last.

He heard a cry out from deep space,

“Anak! Goodbye..” [in another thread Darth Sarlaac said this, calling to Anak]

It was Alice, who he now would hunt down. The Old Darkstar would have come to her rescue, this New Hell Spawn would go to reap her as The Darkness had said would be necessary.

Despite what the Woman who had caste spells against Him had seemed to intend, Anak was not going to unleash Chaos on The Galaxy, that would be too quick and unsatisfying. No he would take his time, one soul at a time, and savor the flavor. There was also one kink in his plans, Jedi who knew the Shaman Way, were beyond his reach. He felt it as he sensed certain powerful Paladins learned in the Nethermortial powers. Limits to his power was not a concern, he did not crave the souls of the clean, rather the unclean. So now he set his sights on Scum and Villainy, which from the feelings he now sifted, was where Alice was.

The Sith Infiltrator took off into the mist above and into space, there a great battle between GA and Sith took place, he set his coordinates for where he last felt Alice’s voice and made the jump to Lightspeed.

The Jedi felt his wrists sieze and he was tossed like a wrag doll by the Sith Spawn into a pile of books. Ulic had like literature, but not this much. He then climbing up through volumes m, levitated them into the air, and what he saw now was more befuddling. Spells, Hell Beings, and still this Sith Spawn was whetting that Cursed Blade. The only more striking moment was then He left, just like that, the Hellian left the Library, as if nothing had happened.

Laying against a book case Ulic muttered to himself,

“I am getting too old for this Sith..”

The Jedi felt the pang of his wounds and reclined his head against the wood. He had seen everything now, and there was a part of him that wanted to live and chase down this Chaos Chomping Monster, if for anything to spare the galaxy from another threat. Then he thought it was inevitable, it all was circling the drain, and he had lost the will to do anything about it. The Jedi spoke of Balance, in the past a Chosen One, a Savior of sorts, and in the end nothing changed. The wars kept on, no paradise was even found on the other side. In was in the nature of sentients to fight, it was a second nature, and in truth he could not play at pacifist either, he had loved being a Knight.

The issue for Ulic was purpose, not pacifism versus warmongering. The Jedi Order was suppose to give that to Jedi, and yet, bringing Balance seemed an oxymoron when a tenet was “destroy the Sith.” Perhaps what it really was about was what he read in archives by Jedi Masters Yoda and Qui-Gon Jinn, to be a candle and love the Light not because of some promised eternal victory, but because it was the Light of Goodness, and in such a dark universe, someone had to show kindness, to let that candle float on a dark sea. Odacer-Faustin
En Route, In Orbit

7BUIiLq.png

The emergency lights bathed the ship in a suffocating sea of crimson and shadows. Elias struggled to keep himself upright against the bouts of sudden free-fall as their vessel plummeted through the upper atmosphere of Odacer-Faustin, and the insane was only worsened by Kami’s gut-wrenching betrayal.

Through the flashes of red light and the angry glow of lightsabers, Elias could see Kami’s tear-streaked visage. Her eyes were devoid of life, black as the void, but something behind them mourned the lives she’d taken. Elias tried to reach her, but his allies were quick to challenge her. Two more fell trying to kill the rogue Knight.

Kami! Stop this at once!

He watched as blades clashed and sparks were shed, singing the air with the smell of burning plasma. Another drop sent the Jedi to the floor, sliding backwards with crates and the bodies of his fallen brothers. He fought against the turbulence, pulling himself back to his feet to find Kami - or what she had become - staring him down. The Force was howling like a raging storm, full of death and darkness. Whatever was happening here was unnatural, and in that instant it became painfully clear that there was no Kami left to save. But he had to try.

Then, she lunged straight for him, her lightsaber like an arrow aimed at his chest.

A split-second maneuver on his part caught her blade just in time to keep its tip from piercing his furiously-beating heart. Elias shoved her back with his lightsaber, forcing a gap between them and buying his surviving companions time to take arms beside him. The odds were stacked against her from the looks of it, but the way she dispatched the others kept Elias from getting too comfortable.

Kami, listen to me. Whatever this is, I know you can fight it. I know you’re in there, just listen to me. Listen to my voice!

She’s gone, Elias,” a Knight said grimly from behind.

No one is ever truly lost,” another said.

Elias stared into the black orbs in Kami’s placid face. He knew she was in there, but not how to save her. He risked a step forward, still holding his guard. She could lash out again at any moment, and he had to be ready to defend himself and the others, even if it meant killing Kami.

Put down your blade,” he urged her.

Please.

Cordelia clicked her tongue in frustration as the robotic woman dodged her disarming attack. This was not going to be easy. Just then, laughter came from behind her. Uneasy, Cori turned to the woman in the green cloak. A woman who seemed less grateful for her interupption and more annoyed, telling her to go after the Jedi in the biosphere. Cori opened her mouth to object, there was no way her allies would lose their lives in their battle, after all, she had heard that the grandmaster herself was leading this mission, and everyone in the order knew that Valery Noble didn't die easily. But as she was forming the words, the synthetic individual let loose a spray of plasma directed at her. Cori only just managed to roll out of the way in time, the fur on the bottom of her coat getting singed, leaving a nasty black mark.

"Well, looks like this...what did you call her...grotthu has decided to attack me anyway," Cori said to the woman behind her. "So I guess I'm staying. I have to avenge this new coat of mine! I mean, I barely got to wear it and it's already ruined."

Cori hoped her attempt at humour would help the green cloaked woman warm up to her. Holding up her hand, Cori attempted to force pull the synthetic woman closer to her, so as to get her in melee range.

"Given the tendency to alter or corrupt, whatever is hidden here probably shouldn't be found at all."

Marcus would’ve rolled his eyes if he could’ve afforded to take his gaze off her for even a moment. He’d already been warned about Jedi hypocrisy, so it was nothing surprising. Yet another confirmation of his prejudices. He settled for giving her an unimpressed look and—

Suddenly he was on the floor, landing with a loud thud. "Ow," he hissed between grit teeth.

She had swept his legs out from under him, knocking all six feet and six inches of him flat on his ass. How? Hell if he knew. There was no time to think about it as he threw his blade at her, its direction guided by the Force straight for her head.

Objective 2

Astrid continued to walk the halls of the academy until she found a hidden entrance that had been forced open by ice. She summoned fire and began melting through the sheet of ice glad for the added warmth that the fire produced which made quick work of the ice before the witch as she then made her way down into the secret tunnel. As she did so she heard an almost animalistic scream come from within the tunnel she ignited her red lightsaber as she proceeded down the tunnel her saber eventually being the only thing that illuminated the tunnel as she walked.

she sensed darkness ahead more than she felt previously on this planet like something awoke she would be ready for whatever came for her as she walked down the tunnel. As much as she wanted to raid the bio sphere she figured plenty of others plus the Jedi would be heading there so she settled for the secrets this academy held the immortality drear wished for himself could be weaponized on her enemies. Drop it onto a planet and watch the population become undead monsters after she modified drears experiments to make it something almost completely new.

Another dark presence entered Resh's perception. Independent of the darkness that permeated the facility itself. He watched figures shuffle and move, until only one remained. One that then ignited the room in a dim red glow. The padawan's breath hitched, and he pursed is lips as if to hide a reaction. A real Sith. Even in his time with the cult, he never interacted with anyone who could lay genuine claim to such a title. It was always an aspiration. A dark dream that they hoped Resh himself would one day attain.

But now he was a Jedi. And a woefully unprepared one at that. Resh looked around at what little he could see from his hiding point. The pureblood looked up at the dilapidated catwalk, and raised a hand towards it. If he could pull part of it down on the Sith, it probably wouldn't do any more than serve as a distraction. But that's all Resh really needed. If he could divert the Sith's attention, then run like hell, maybe he'd have a chance of getting out of here.

If he could do it. Pulling at the catwalk was proving difficult, especially in his conflicted state. Some of the fittings groaned, and after a final surge of effort, once of the pieces finally detached. There was a loud, sharp whine as the metal bounced off the wall and descended onto the Sith. And as soon as that happened, Resh burst out from his hiding spot and scrambled for the exit.

"No."

Alina stared up as Alicio moved. He was slower than her, she could see that much clearly. And yet, he was able to stay a step ahead. The reason why was abundantly clear as he came crashing down with a strike through the books. She scattered the books that came towards her with a careless seeming swipe of her hand. The Force swelled, blasting away the already burning shelves into more. Spreading the fire further.

Then barely brought her blade up to catch his strike. The heavy blade in her grasp might've crumpled, if not for the sheer amount of Anima she was currently burning through to enhance her strength. All this knowledge had to burn, before any personal grudge she had.

"I'm no longer afraid of what I am."

She pressed up to disengage, just as the red glow in her eyes faded. Around her the Force suddenly muffled. She reached through the Force, for the area around them, and cut the flow of the Force completely. She'd done the same to Amani. It'd gotten her shot that time, but this felt different.

She again lifted her blade. Even without an influx of Anima, her body was still strong. Not as fast, but still strong. She brought the blade around, swinging in wide, heavy strikes one after another in a seemingly tireless sequence to try and overwhelm the Senator.

"Now, I am truly free."

Patiently, Valery waited by the soldier's sides, and allowed their squad leader to take over for now. She was far better equipped to position her troops, and they were all trained to move quickly. Once they were in the hallway, she looked at the undead with a frown. They had once been people, whether they were corrupted by the Dark Side or not, so seeing them like this was quite disturbing. Their humanity had been ripped away from them, and their souls had likely found no rest.

But that was about to change.

Once the entire squad opened fire, the bodies began to fall quickly and Valery's senses opened up with the Dark Side slowly dissipating after each kill.. She still focused on her immediate surroundings throughout it all, purely to make sure that none of them survived the attack and were able to fight back.

One bite was all it took.

"I'm with you guys," Valery assured the squad leader, as she moved up and occasionally slashed down into one of the undead. A few had been cut down by blaster bolts, but survived because not enough of their bodies had been destroyed. Her senses picked them out, and her blade ended their misery.

But right as their path seemed to clear up, she felt something from behind.

Like a lightning bolt, she turned and appeared right in front of Todblaz Graker Todblaz Graker in the blink of an eye. Not to attack him, but to help him, "We've got several coming up behind!" she called out. A group of the undead was sprinting towards them from the rear, while another was coming up from deeper within the tunnels.

Ulic caught his breath and rose, deciding the matter he called The Force, waves of blue light swirled around him in hour glass and helix shapes. He felt his injuries mend, and his heart rate steady. He wished he had the desire to be hands of healing, to use his power to mend rather than rend, but his capacity for combat was too strong.

The Jedi Knight rose, adjusting his hood and cape, he felt many were stirring about the Academy, those alligned with the Light and the Dark. Concentrating, he decided to make his way to an enterance of a tunnel, he sensed more than One wrapped in Shadow approaching. The tunnel was strange, it was not only made of ice, but some kind of secreted resin:

The ice was merged with some form of rock, lava base perhaps, which made no sense. This was not a volcanic planet. The walls looked like rib cages of black and white, most unsettling as The Jedi went deeper in. He snapped his yellow blade to life, to give some more illumination, he knew the light would travel sown the tunnel, and signal his approach. The truth is he did not intend to ambush the Dark Ones, rather he preferred to be honorable and meet any enemy on the field with a sense of dignity. Ulic could not hear the foot steps yet, but as he drew closer he made out in The Force that the Two were connected, almost a Dyad. This made him almost turn back, he did not wish to tilt with a couple, well he did not know for sure they were a couple, but two companions, that he could be sure of. Still as a Jedi he was tasked with tilting with Sith and Darksiders.

The Light Side illumination in the form of a Luminous was sacrificed by its conjurer to unleash a potent force blast which disintegrated much of the Undead Thralls Host since they were considerably weak to the effects of the Light Side of the Force, leaving them few in overall numbers but still a potent weapon against Starlin Rand Starlin Rand who appeared soon afterwards wielding a normal lightsaber and a shoto lightsaber together. From this it would seem the jedi was well adapted to duel wielding which would pose a decent challenge to the physical prowess of the Sangnir Highblood.

"Unfortunately not; Young Jedi. Though it would seem that I have gotten the bottom of the barrel when it comes to jedi."
The response was short but simple in an effort to mock the jedi before him who clearly was the bottom of the barrel when it came to the New Jedi Order. None the less they would not be allowed to interrupt the mission of the Sith Order to strike a critical blow against the Galactic Alliance by raising an undead army of considerable might.

The Highblood was a tad undressed for battle and thus discarded the ornate clothing for suitable attire. By taking off the cloak to dispel the illusion before very eyes. Withdrawing the ornate force sword from its sheathe instead of a lightsaber; but still clutching the blood chalice within free hand to allow him to drink from behind the ornate mask/helmet.

"If you will not strike first then I shall."

A simple motion moved him forward in a striking motion with the tip of the sword. To test the jedi's response.

Alicio could taste bittersweet flowers in the air, as Alina blocked his strike. His attack had been powerful enough to break through a weaker duelist's guard, but not the vampire's. No, this would not be over as quickly as the Count would have liked. He was fit, dare he say athletic compared to where he had been years previous. But he knew his limits. He would tire quickly at this pace. Alina would likely not.

The longer they clashed, the less likely Alicio was to win.

Alicio was alerted to something being wrong by a stillness in the Future. He jumped back, guard up, frowning as his double-sight was stolen from him. This had just gotten a lot harder.

His only saving grace, as Alina redoubled her assault, was that he was now quicker than her. Now securely on the defensive, Alicio backpedaled, dodging her swings as he could, and blocking as he had to in wide, sweeping strikes, a practiced defense now replacing his precognitive one. Each time their blades connected jostled his fingers, a permanent wince of pain on his face.

She had stolen his greatest strength as a duelist. But that didn't mean he couldn't plan ahead.

Alicio bided his time, syncing with the chaotic rhythm of Alina's blade, waiting for a downward slash. If she did, the Count suddenly stopped backing up, fancy footwork bringing him into Alina's space. He angled his body, to accept her attack onto the songsteel plates of his armor, while going in for a vicious series of stabs, a lethal efficiency to the nobleman's point work.

If she connected with him, it would hurt. But, just maybe, it would be worth it. She could be surprised now, too, after all.

Darth Kentarch, understanding the immeasurable value of the knowledge before him, swiftly produced a sleek black device from his robe. A data-coffer, positioning the device on the edge of the table, Kentarch initiated the extraction process. The text on the ancient holo-table's surface began to shift and spiral, seeking a connection with the data-coffer. Upon establishing a link, streams of iridescent data began flowing into the coffer. Complex patterns of information, representing millennia of Sith research and experimentation, transformed into swirling torrents of light, rushing to find refuge within the device.

After a few brief minutes, the upload was complete. Now he had a copy.

Concealing the data-coffer within the depths of his robe, Darth Kentarch cast a final, lingering gaze upon the luminous table. But something tugged at him. Something there whispering to him – the Black Orchid. Darth Kentarch's footsteps echoed softly on the cold stone as he ventured deeper into the Mortis Bio-Spire. If he could find a sample, something created by the likes of Darth Drear or Darth Scabrous. It could be used against the Jedi, or his Sith rivals.

Darth Kentarch's footsteps echoed softly on the cold stone as he ventured deeper into the Mortis Bio-Spire. The ranks of zombies grew thinner, likely drawn to the fighting near the entrance, but someone was likely not far behind.

A chance to witness the elegance of a lightsaber in person was worth stopping everything for; worth the risk of an unwelcome demise at the hands of the wailing, shambling creatures that closed in from every direction. Its vibrant light had kissed the ground on a thousand worlds. Its steady, suspenseful thrum had set the rhythm to which countless battles had been fought. Its indomitable image had seen empires rise and fall, many by its own hand. What majesty. What power. If there was any amount of free thought that remained in the undead at Valery's feet, Makani hoped they felt honoured to die by her blade.

One or two of the troopers seemed to be taking notes, and buried a couple more shots into the bodies as they ran by, even the ones that had already stopped moving. Makani kept pace, not needing to be snapped out of his reverie this time - with the sithspawn slain, a weight on his mind had been lifted. He felt more focussed than ever.

The facility's layout only seemed to get more complex from here. Only about twenty metres from the exit of the first room, the squad crossed into a wider passage stretching far to the left and right, great blast doors sealing it off at either end. This was surely one of the main arteries that ran through the facility, leading the way deeper, toward what one could assume were more sensitive, vital areas. At least it had some sort of emergency lighting, albeit one that pulsed a sickly red, which only made the messy silhouettes that charged toward them appear even more insidious than before.

"Don't hang back! We need to stick together!" The squad leader yells down to Valery and the rearguard, but the troopers had already started to pull back, only pausing in the centre of the room at the sight of Todblaz with his weapon raised in the corridor behind them. He may have been fired upon, had it not been for the speed of the Jedi coming to their side. One of them called out, telling the pair to keep moving while they gave covering fire. The other was already trying to line up a shot on the approaching horde, but was unable to stop themselves from taking a few more cautious step back.

The Sergeant twisted her head around, constantly keeping herself aware of where her team were positioned. To her dismay, she spotted one of her troopers advancing alone down the left passage, marking their path with bright flashes of intermittent blaster fire and the heavy thud of bodies on stone. "Are you listening, private?" she growled through her commlink. The lone trooper pressed on unabated, forcing her to follow their lead.

"Makani, get back here!"

Tod was taken off guard by the woman sprinting toward him, and his initial reaction was to attempt to raise his rifle. However, he swiftly realized that she wasn't approaching him as an adversary. She was already past him before he could fully get his rifle up. This left him momentarily stunned, his head tracking her movement.

As he completed his turn to face her, Tod could see the undead who were quickly approaching. He lowered himself into a high ready position, bending his knees to maintain balance, and began retreating backward. With his finger on the trigger, he fired at the undead as quickly as his weapon allowed. The caliber of his rifle ensured that his shots, when hitting proximal to the base of appendages, would sever them effectively.

Tod continued to move backward, he would keep pace with the rearguards and continue to move level with them. Grouping with them, he gave cover fire for Valery like they did. He slowly let off shots that echoed through the hallway as he targeted the approaching undead. After firing his sixth shot, he reached for his bandolier at his waist and retrieved one red and five grey-tipped bullets. Swiftly, he opened the cylinder of his rifle, loading the new rounds.

The first bullet he fired was the red-tipped incendiary round. It buried itself in the chest of an undead and ignited its insides into a blaze of fire. This fiery explosion would be able to illuminate bodies around it and anything behind it for a few meters. Though the fire would fizzle out quickly and only illuminated the area for a short while.

Chit.

Alright Jonyna, decisiveness. You committed to that avalanche. The sith were aware of you now, and you wanted to make a distraction anyways. They couldn't see the others, but they could definitely see her. She still hadn't gotten the hang of this whole 'force stealth' thing...

So instead, she decided to play along with all of this.

She looked like a sith. That was a premeditated decision.

"Hold on, I got an idea." She muttered into her comms as she raised a hand. The snow of the avalanche, now settled into the hall of the temple, suddenly flurried uncontrollably, filling the hall with blizzard like conditions, visibility suddenly dropping to zero, as The Panther rushed forward down the hill behind her own snow cloud, the heavy snow twirling around her in a tornadic cloud. They knew her group was coming. That didn't mean they could see them. She figured her fellow shadows could see through the Force. She knew the objective. Prevent the sith from entering the chamber. And she planned to do so.

How?

Do the one thing that she had told her padawans was a bad idea.

She threw Liz outward, the blade flying across the hall and into the back of the demo expert placing the charge. She knew Liz like she was an extention of her, and drawing the blade back was easy, should it not be intercepted first...

Quinn stood in the middle of an abandoned laboratory. Rows of dead terminals surrounded her, each potentially holding the information she needed. The Sith spoke of a horrible creation whose secrets were harbored here. She needed to find it before anyone else did. The woman was desperate, knowing what falling into the wrong hands meant. Closing her eyes, she tried to recall the dreams she had been haunted by for the past nights. Over and over again, horrid rotting faces filled her thoughts and clawed at her, consuming her.

She opened her eyes and held her breath. Footsteps echoed around the building; she could feel them through the Force. Not only had the Sith descended upon the biodome, but the Jedi had also come. Along with the living, the dead had also stirred. Luckily for Quinn, she hadn't yet come across any of the sithspawns that had been known to wander the abandoned facility. It seemed they remained closer to any energy sources, meaning the building harbored nothing to spare for the terminals.

As much as she wanted to smack the device, the Princess avoided it. The last thing she needed was to alert her to anything approaching her. Especially the Sith spawn. Again, footsteps echoed towards her, this time closer than before and far less than what was heard previously. Quinn moved away from the terminal row and walked towards the next corridor of the facility. A creaking door broke the silence, and Quinn's eyes fell upon a lone figure.

It stunk of Ashlan's blessing. Quinn turned up her nose and crept closer, wondering who had been the unfortunate soul to find themselves here. It didn't take long; she quickly made out the figure of another woman, and she was alone. A cruel smile crept across her face as she focused her mind through the Force, searching for any loose strand the illusionist could latch onto.

"Oh?" she mumbled softly. The girl was an Echani, making her an even easier target.

Lily would hear footsteps echoing in the room. Being an Echani, she would recognize the pattern as her Aunt Kat. "Lily? What are you doing here?" The woman's figure would come into view, concern on her face. Any memory that Lily had of the older Echani would fill in the gaps that Quinn could pull out. Kat stood with her hands on her hips, a disappointed face, looking at Lily. "You shouldn't be alone; come on, let's get back with the others." The figure began to move, waving for Lily to follow. The illusion that Quinn created in Lily's mind would snuff out the danger it was leading her towards. Just outside of the room they were in, hungry Sithspawn waited.

Cord watched as Lucia just collapsed her body then sprang up and back to hovering like it was nothing. Then in a little more than a blink of an eye fired on the new combatant and speed away forty or so meters. Whatever Lucia was she sure liked her distance; seemingly felt they needed it. As the Jedi tried to make light of the situation at hand. Yet Before Cord could even utter a word of angry verbal abuse at the girl she was being fired upon.

The first shot fired slammed into her force shield she still had up the plasma igniting the outer edges at her mid-section torso area and causing the shield to shimmer as it dissipated the shot. The second shot missed completely as Cord went into roll moving towards the Young Jedi girl and coming to her feet in the process. As she was doing that, she saw the young Jedi out stretching her hand attempting to pull what now Cord assumed was a droid of some kind towards her.

Cord's right hand went to her left side grabbing the hilt of her sword solar. "Keep your focus! Keep an image of where they are in your mind!" She said as she came out of role and stood right in front of the Jedi girl. Putting herself between the young Jedi and Lucia. As the third shot came in and Cord dropped her force shield and raised her left arm firing three explosive darts in the direction of Lucia as the last burst shot slammed into Cord's shoulder.

Cord's shoulder jolted back on the in pack and under her mask Cord's teeth clinched as the shot ate through the shoulder of her Jacket and heated the metal of her armor and burned and seared the skin underneath. Her left upper arm and shoulder felt like they were on fire as the metal heated by plasma burned through the inner cloth layer into the skin underneath.

The reason Cord had stepped between the girl and Lucia was to shield the young Jedi's eyes as she pulled Solar from its sheath and a blind flash of force light sprang forth into the air between them. She wasn't sure it would blind a droid but the light itself would make her at least have to blind fire for a few seconds due to the brightness of the blinding flash if the young Jedi couldn't pull the droid closer, it might give Cord enough time to close the gap using force speed.
