PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Cori has long, wavy hair that has a pink to orange fade. She has peach skin and enjoys decorating her face with bold makeup, like statement eyeshadow and glittering lipstick. She has luminescent cerulean eyes with a slit for an iris. She has sharp teeth that are revealed when she smiles, and gills on her neck. She has long nails painted in lavender purple to match her colourful outfit. Her outfit is far from what one might expect from a traditional Jedi, as Cori has a lot of fun expressing herself through clothing. She wears a traditional melodie top which has two streams of fabric coming out over her shoulders and draping over her arms to form two long pieces of fabric that move with her arms, simulating water. She has aqua coloured pants with a bustle of lavender fabric attached to them, flowing out behind her like a mermaid tail. She wears these boots but in silver and she keeps her lightwhips attached to her waist.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Cori is an extroverted, bubbly, cheerful individual. She is almost always smiling and attempting to make friends. She loves the New Jedi Order and follows most of their teachings, though she cares little for their drab, modest robes, preferring instead to follow the latest fashions of coruscant. The seriousness of her visions cause her to be overly playful and excitable when she is awake, trying to chase fleeting happiness. However, should someone get on her bad side, she can become very agressive and vicious, particularly if someone or something she loves is being threatened.
STRENGTHS
Merfolk blood:
Cori is an Ersansyr who can trace her lineage back to the Melodie people. Her father and mother are both very powerful sirens, and Cori was lucky enough to inherit their abilities.
She is gifted with incredibly advanced vocal cords able to influence others, often without their knowledge. However this ability does not work against droids and is only semi-reliable against the Force Dead. This ability is particularly useful when used in conjunction with a Jedi mind trick, which Cori is very good at. Also, her vocal cords allow her to unleash a sonorous scream comparable in intensity to a sonic weapon. However, this places significant strain on her throat, so she doesn't use it much. Lastly, Cori of course can shapeshift into a half fish form, growing a magnificent tail when in water to swim better. This tail is often used by Cori in combination with her force abilities to control the water around her and knock opponents off balance.
Dreams of the future:
Manifesting mostly through dreams, Cori receives glimpses of the future from the force. These visions have more often than not proven to be true, and she is considered to be very practiced at interpreting them. Sometimes, she will even receive visions at seemingly random moments, rendering her unconscious, but these force-induced fainting spells are rare as they present her with very powerful visions of important events. She is able to use the knowledge she receives from her visions to aid the Jedi order and predict all manner of important events.
Experienced acrobat:
Cori is a diligent student of form four, Ataru, and is known for being very fast and agile in a fight. The Ersansyr loves acrobatics, as it reminds her of being in the water, and has trained herself to be very flexible and light on her feet. She has mastered using her two lightwhips in union with this aggressive form, and is a truly deadly opponent.
WEAKNESSES
Fish out of water:
As a member of the Ersansyr species, Cori faces many genetic challenges. She has a particularly low tolerance for poison and toxins, and is unable to use gas masks or helmets on account of breathing from the gills on her neck rather than from her mouth or nose. Even her shapeshifting can cause problems with equipment, clothing, armour, and the like. Unlike more flexible shapeshifters, she is unable to make internal changes to her torso and head. Also, being isolated from water for too long causes her to become irritable and more animalistic, as she has to be incased in water every once in a while in order to prevent her from going insane.
Cursed Prophet:
Cori has been talented at seeing the future since she was a kid, but this talent comes with a cost. Cori has never once experienced a restful sleep, as her visions keep her up at night. Often, she misinterprets them or comes to understand them too late, and the guilt of knowing she could have prevented bad things from happening is a terrible burden that she struggles to bear. Cori uses makeup to hide the dark rings under her eyes, but she cannot hide the pain of knowing she is powerless to prevent the tragedies she foresees.
Pyrophobia:
Whether it is a result of her recent visions of her former master's death, or of her underwater heritage, Cori is terrified of fire. Even the mention of it makes her afraid. Should she be in a situation where fire is, she immediately turn tail and run. This is part of why she prefers to be underwater to being on land, because obviously there is no chance of a fire starting there.
HISTORY
Cordelia Eldoris was born underwater as the daughter of the leader of the bright coral reef Ersansyr, a group of the species that moved from Yavin 8 to Aquilaris Minor after their transformation from Melodie to Ersansyr. The third and youngest child, Cori lived in luxury until by chance a Sith terrorist came to the planet and hid under the water. A Jedi knight came after him, a karkarodon named Adelio Caspian. Adelio sought the help of the Ersansyr in locating the Sith, and while visiting the leader's home met five year old Cori. Her natural affinity for force visions caught his notice and after he had apprehended the Sith terrorist, he took her back to Coruscant to become a member of the New Jedi Order. As she grew up, Adelio took care to watch over her, finding common ground over their shared love of the water. Hence, when she turned thirteen, he took her on as his padawan. Adelio was a strict teacher and Cori was a flamboyant student, however the two still grew to be really close, both seeing each other as if they were family. After seven years of training, Cordelia passed the trials and became a Jedi knight, ready to take on the world. However, lately she has been plagued with visions of her master dying in a fire, and they are leading her to become more and more paranoid as each day passes.
