Lord Dresta Fighting Against Jedi, Using a Double Bladed Lightsaber Prior to The Creation of Caduceus

NAME: Lord Dresta the White, Prince of Kashyyk

FACTION: Lords of the Sith

RANK: Darth (Religious Rank), Sith Lord (Religious Rank), Knight (Official Faction Rank), Lord (De Jure Faction Rank), Wookiee Royal (Bloodline), Instructor at the Pomojema where she is the Professor of Sith History and Literature (circa 400 ABY to 800 ABY) and an Adjunct Professor in Lightsaber Combat as well as various classes in force usage, though other duties may distract her, at times, from her teaching roles | leader of the Cult of Dresta (a semi-specialized Sith Cult, within the LOTS. The Cult of Dresta has specific purposes. it isn't just, like, Dresta's posse. They wait for the Sith'ari, safeguard and seek out Sith knowledge, train those who come to them, and "take in" children to be raised as the future of the Sith. The Sith won't be dead until the Cult of Dresta is. That's their job. If need be, Dresta will abandon everything she's built and go into hiding to uphold her sacred duty)
Occupation: Sith Warlord | Cult Leader | Shampoo, Conditioner, and Haircare Spokesmodel. Dresta’s shampoo, conditioner, and haircare commercials are famous and kind of everywhere. They’re a lot like Chanel fragrance commercials, except they make less sense, are exclusively in Shryiwook with subtitles underneath, and sell a fuck ton of product. In them, Dresta is very stereotypically feminine, a difference to her normal behavior, and people may not recognize her while she’s in her Sith get up due to the striking differences between this and her normal behavior. Also… sensual Shryiwook sounds. That’s, uh, the commercials for you.

SPECIES: Wookiee, Everchosen

AGE: 220

SEX: Female

HEIGHT: 8’6.5”

WEIGHT: 450 pounds

EYES: A Red Amber, though when infuriated or when engaged in combat they become yellow, and they may even glow

HAIR: White

SKIN: Not visible, but underneath the fur her skin is of a lighter tone

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
  • physical size - Dresta’s physical size is befitting of powerful lightsaber styles like Form V, and suits itself well to the wild fury of a seasoned Sho-Chii practitioner. Using her great lightsaber, Dresta can overwhelm opponents and easily handle multiple opponents at once.
  • LIghtsaber Combat - Technically, Dresta is a battlemaster. She knows all forms of lightsaber combat, and prior to her Everchosen enhancement was at best a somewhat above average Force-sensitive more powerful than your average Jedi, and worthy of sitting on the High Council, but paling in comparison to more legendary names, with her skill in lightsabers being what truly made her deadly against what could often be far more powerful opponents and rivals. Dresta is a dominating presence on the battlefield, and an overwhelming lightsaber combatant for most normal sized people, using a great lightsaber that harnesses Shien, Djem So, Sho-Chii, and spottings of Soresu (or at times an entirely Soresu defensive stance, though this is her least practiced lightsaber style) for defense when facing lone opponents. Her style is primed for combat with multiple opponents at a time. However, it can be weaker at times against sole opponents depending on circumstances.
  • Force Sensitivity - Increasing her physique with the Force, and harnessing a mixture of the basic forced powers as well as advanced ones like tutaminis and Alter Environment, Lord Dresta, a Sith Alchemist, is a particularly nasty opponent to face with decades of experience backing her up who is both a threat in terms of the Force and physically.
  • Feudal Warlord - Dresta is a feudal warlord with a small army of a few thousand soldiers, and a small fleet led by a Kanasaza class heavy cruiser. Darth Mailiphant has granted me 5 kilometers total of fleet space. These are faction vessels.
  • The Everchosen - Lord Dresta is the only Wookiee Everchosen in existence. Powerful, and on par with the Chosen One prior to his becoming Darth Vader, she is a monstrosity in combat.
  • Clone Bodies - Lord Dresta, paranoid about the destruction of her soul, is connected to her clone bodies in a way that regularly uploads her memories to them. Thus, she will go on even if her soul does not.

  • The Everchosen - Lord Dresta is rather weak to Force Light or Wall of Light, and this body will be able to be completely consumed by the Light. She, additionally, cannot return to the Light Side unless she resurrects in a body that is not Everchosen.
  • Individual Mindset - Lord Dresta is all for being part of a larger collective, but the downside to this is that when said collective begins to fail she will take her own path to try to maintain that. For now, she has a verbally acknowledge support of Darth Maliphant, but should he fall or they go their own separate ways what she might do is uncertain. What is certain, however, is that Lord Dresta believes that the Sith can come to control a wide swath of the Galaxy and maintain stability over it. Having been the supreme power of her own, secretive Sith Cult - which still continues, forming the upper echelons of her command structure - and being a Wookiee royal, she also expects to be given the respect she sees herself as deserving. In a way, Lord Dresta is fiercely independent. After all, she is waiting for the New Sith’ari, and those that fall forever cannot possibly be whoever that may be. Yet, in others, she waits for the New Sith’ari.
  • Waiting for the New Sith’ari - It is not wise to underestimate Lord Dresta’s hunger for power, or her intent to carve out her own belongings in the galaxy, but her primary purpose in the galaxy is waiting for the New Sith’Ari so that she may assist them. Between Kashyyk and this, everything else pales in importance, and it would be wise for people to remember that, while Dresta is competent and can be trusted to an extent, that this is her driver for existence. It does, however, assume she will be subservient to said New Sith’ari. Should one convince her or she come to the belief, even falsely, that they are this Sith’ari she will likely swear fealty - a flaw in her fierce independence. This may explain why she has no holdings. Lord Dresta simply was and can still be content with what she has should it serve her purposes. However, this means there is potential for her to be outshone by those who have more selfish, self serving ambitions, and that the risk of being defeated by their followers is very real. Though, perhaps, being one who can disappear to safeguard Sith knowledge in secret, training those who come, without a strong attachment to any world other than Kashyyk has its strengths - strengths that, as Lord Dresta becomes less occult, less in the shadows, are disappearing, and will, inevitably, need to be reclaimed at the expense of all she has built should the Lords of the Sith fall like their predecessors.
  • Ysalamari/Void Stones/Artificial Ysalamari - Being cut off from the Force will, inevitably, be lethal to Dresta.

APPEARANCE:
A shadow is cast behind you. The shadow is massive, and a feeling of cold paralyzes you. It's big, whatever it is. Too big to be a man, and you can hear the ignition of a saber. The blade is a warm orange, and its shadow is drippint in the venom of this beast. You hear a growl before darkness consumes you. Struck down, little soldier, you were by Lord Dresta the White - a female wookiee prince with a figure remarkable even amongst other wookiee. Standing at 8'6" tall, with 450 pounds of muscle, th3 wookiee's fur is nonetheless surprisingly clean smelling - soft and luscious - not that you would've noticed before your death that is. With fur white as snow, and eyes amber then a glowing yellow, and presence that can strike a frigidness on you, raising your goosebumps, and spreading a paralyzing fear that can blind the average force-sensitive, Dresta is an intimidating figure to face. Often embraced by her juggernaut armor, with her Sith greatsaber at her hip, her bowcaster on a sling, and her explosives on her bandolier, a simpleton could figure out that what lies underneath is neither human nor beast but will destroy you should you stad in its way nonetheless.

BIOGRAPHY:

  • 644 ABY - Birth of Lord Dresta to the King of Kashyyk, her father. Quickly she begins to express an innate force-sensitivity, and her family hides her away, so that the Jedi might not come and take her. This act of concealing her would doom Dresta to falling to the Dark Side. Had her family not coveted her away, she would have become a stalwart Jedi, standing against the darkness. A force-sensitive of some potential in her youth, she stayed on her world instead of being taken by the Jedi in the days of the Republic as her family covered up her nature. A vaunted soldier and military commander for the wookiee in her adulthood, and a veteran of Kashyyk’s military, these skills would be useful in the future. Dresta is from the royal family that rules Kashyyk, and was outcast for dueling her father and killing him with her claws. However, he deployed his claws first. The guards under order from her sibling pushed them back inside of their sheaths, in a conspiracy to keep Dresta from making the changes she wanted to their society - as she hoped to provide an outlet for their urges - and then her outcasting? There was no ceremony. She disappeared into the hands of slavers. In the end, this outlet would transform with her fall to the dark side - giving into and encouraging the inner darkness, rather than anything else.
  • 731 ABY - Rescue - Dresta was enslaved by the Hutt Cartel to work in mines. However, when the empire came to the moon she was on, they realized she was force-sensitive after a fight broke out between the Imperials and the Cartel members and she tried to lead the prisoners to escape. Rescued by a Morellian Sith Lord and his followers upon their realization she was a war-like force-sensitive, she would join them, pledging loyalty and learning the ways of the Sith. His faction, however, would splinter. Though the Cult was still pieced together, it was fracturing, and she took control of her own faction. She eventually unified the Cult, transforming it into the Cult of Dresta, defeated her master, and proceeded to wait for a now Sith’ari to arrive - a chosen one she prophesied that would reunify the disparate factions of dark siders throughout the Galaxy.
  • From 731 ABY - Dresta would operate the Dark Side Cult of Sith in secret. Her Cult, the Cult of Dresta, was hidden. People who wished for its knowledge could find it, and people who sought it out to destroy it would find that it went by different names, and was never where they thought it could be. Some? They were even sought out. For decades, Dresta would safeguard Sith knowledge while she waited for the arrival of the New Sith’ari, teaching or overseeing the education of hundreds of students.
  • 835 ABY - Dresta fights against OMNI, a veteran of the war for her survival.
  • 836 ABY - Dresta takes control of the Colicoid Creation Nest.
  • 837 ABY - The ancient Kwa Princess invades the Galaxy. Lord Dresta fights once more alongside the Galaxy’s people.
  • 843 - The Cult of Dresta begins locating and kidnapping force-sensitive children and infants to be raised as the future of the Sith.
  • 844 ABY - Call of the Void - While the force is interrupted, Lord Dresta finds solace in separating herself from the Force, finding dominance of her cult harder. It is inflamed by a conflict between those who seek to maintain use of the Force absolutely who see Lord Dresta as a heretic, led by her apprentice, and those who follow Lord Dresta whether or not they continue to use the Force. The Netherworld comes, and Dresta’s secretive, hidden Cult is shattered. Slaying her apprentice, she seizes control of the remains. What little of the Cult existed in public view disappears.
  • 863 ABY - Dresta and her Cult reappear under the leadership of the Worm Emperor, having been sought out, the Cult of Dresta crawling from the depths of an unknown asteroid belt in an unknown sector and she brokers a deal with the Sith Lord Darth Elephant to become an Everchosen.
  • 864 ABY - Present

SHIP:
Personal Ship - Dresta's ship, the Evertide, is essentially a combat-scavenger, a modified version of a modern day replica of a YT-2400 light freighter with the rest of its placements (of which there are 7) for weaponry filled with two pairs of medium rapid-fire dual laser cannons, two medium rapid-fire ion cannon, and a torpedo launcher. The existing dual laser cannons have been replaced with medium rapid-fire versions as well. It has engineering equipment retrofit as the primary modifications, and Dresta is the kind to take trophies from the scavenges remains of an enemy's ship, and equip them onto her vessel if they would improve the ship's functionality. The basic systems have been gutted and replaced with military grade systems, the hyperdrive has been replaced with a .75 and an 8, it has a military grade targeting computer, an Imperial sensor stealth coating, reinforced armor, layered shielding, power-boosted shield generators, an enhanced sensor countermeasure package, more powerful engines, and hyperspace escape pods. As stock, the Evertide has concussion missile launchers. See the Outrider for a near-identical vessel in Legends canon.

Dresta Canon

  • Sith Gender Science - Dresta does not have a traditional relationship with her gender. Referring to fellow sith as brethren no matter their gender, and claiming exclusively masculine titles, Dresta is a female of royal blood who is far from being a princess for she fancies herself a prince. Dresta finds no difficulty in using masculine language, and will correct others if they use feminine language with her outside of pronouns. When others speak to their Sith brethren and sistren, it is the former that causes her ears to perk up. Embodying a powerful female figure, Dresta is a woman, yes, albeit one that has crafted a figure in which she is seen as powerful and as domineering as even the most charismatic leading men of the galaxy. This was not an accidental figure crafted. Once outcast from her society, Dresta found herself demeaned and in shackles - a slave working in mines, property. She has reclaimed all she was formerly, and rediscovered her power in the domain of men. This has often led to her being confused for a male wookiee, an assumption she does not always correct.
  • Lacks a Sith Name - Dresta lacks a Sith name, and prefers to go by Lord Dresta rather than Darth Dresta despite having earned a right to do so. This speaks of a dedication to aspects of her culture that remain well after that same culture turned on her in an act of absolute corruption, resulting, interestingly, in her holding onto a piece of herself from before her own corruption into a Sith.
  • Dresta is not standard Sith stock. Raised from birth to rule and administrate, Dresta possesses a sight for the future many Sith lack. Her followers, by and large, are known for their continuance and survival. Her legacy will be one of a Sith that knew how to rule. As a result of her motives, Dresta is also more likely than other Sith to survive. Able to abandon their accomplishments, she and her followers can flee to the shadows to survive and continue the Sith when the time comes.
  • On Speciesism - Speciesism amongst the Sith was a ridiculous leftover from a more primitive age that crippled the potential of the entire religion! All who were Force-sensitive could become Sith, and all could serve Sith. Variety was strength. Lack of diversity led to loss. Just as one’s inability to adapt to a certain fighting style due to being stuck in one’s ways and never spreading one’s wings to learn things outside of their comfort zone could lead to a Sith’s doom, so too could a Sith’s inability to accept the usefulness of people who had done nothing wrong, to suit their own petty agenda. It was barbaric, and quite beneath Dresta, of course as a wookiee, but humans and near-humans nonetheless were often weak and petty. The downside of them being so widespread, so widebred, is that their most foolish members were often also quite prominent not by luck, but because there were so many foolish humans with foolish ideas that inevitably one of them would end up in charge of something - spreading their stupid ideas as far as they could possibly make them go.
