For a man going on the age of 60 standard human years, Veiere Arenais has retained almost a decade of his youth seemingly well, thanks to his affinity to the Lightside of the Force. Much of his life, Veiere has been a man with a full head of long brown hair, often kept free and loose. He has dark blue eyes, and a trimmed well-kept beard and moustache. Today however he has since shaven his head and allowed his beard to grow long and thick. While the appearance may look scruffy and uncared for, the man is embracing a life no longer living under the spotlight of the Galaxy.
Where his attire is concerned, Veiere favors a mixed set of apparel, wearing what is considered to be professional for the occasion. While most of his days are spent adorning the Jedi Apparel (Tunic/Robe/Leather Boots and Gloves), he is often remembered for his time spent in the political spotlight due to his history upon Commenor.
Raised within the Jedi Order, Veiere Arenais gained a stern faith within the Force and was taught not to distinguish the two sides but treat both the Light and the Dark as equal halves to the one whole living Force that binds all life together and guides those whom seek to honor and abide by the morales and virtues encouraged by the Jedi.
While some may consider him to be their enemy, Veiere looks upon those he might meet in battle to be on equal footing. Even the Sith are part sentient and part of the Force for they have been given life all the same, only their choices have distracted and led them astray from the peaceful, harmonic nature that is the Force without the influence of one’s passions and selfishness. He believes that everyone deserves a chance to redeem themselves, to turn away from violence and will forever seek to end a conflict in a peaceful manner where possible. Unfortunately, he also sees the Galaxy for what it is, and knows that there are those that will refuse to stand down or give themselves to the Jedi. Such a thing has always been a struggle to come to terms with for any jedi, the likelihood of being forced to take a life in service and defense of others or he, himself.
Despite Veiere’s time in political power alongside his wife and at the time, the Queen of Commenor [member="Kay Arenais"], Veiere has always loathed Politics. The Jedi Order had always discouraged Jedi personnel from taking up positions that carry such vast influence over the people during his training as an Apprentice of the Order.
Due to his marriage to Kay, the title of King was given to him, and with it Veiere did all that he could to support and defend those afflicted by the war and by those influenced by the Dark Side of the Force. Against the tragic circumstance of Kay’s confession and dissolvement of the Monarchy, Veiere was relieved to step away from Politics and return to the Jedi lifestyle.
