  • Armorweaver and Anti-Ion Mesh Underlay for added absorption of Kinetic and Energy displacement.
  • Orichalcum Plating - (Incursion Event Reward) Offering a rare and far greater defense than typical metals.
  • Turadium Plating - Boots, Gauntlets, Knees and Elbow Reinforced protection.
  • Faraday Cage - Negates the effects of Energy discharge attacks such as Force Lightning & EMP/ION Weaponsfire.
  • Force Imbued - Empowered with the Lightside of the Force through the workings of the Jedi Consular, Veiere has harnessed the ability of Force Light to temper the outer Turadium Plating. This added protection offers no advantages against Kinetic Damages however can counter the Environmental affects of the Dark-Side, most specifically the mind altering and emotionally destabilizing power that the Sith often use to induce fear and anxiety within their Opponents (Cleanse Mind).

Far from the makings of the Jedi Order, this armor has been fashioned for open War in which Veiere as High King of the Commenor Systems Alliance expects to inevitably be forced into. With the Galaxy in a state of constant warfare and his position one of prominent power and authority over the CSA, Veiere despite his dedication and adherance to the Jedi Code can also not refuse the good he might achieve with a reach that extends so far as his own; thus since he has taken a step away from the Order now that it has become strong enough to continue to prosper without his every day guidance, he has set into motion the creation of an Armor set fit to combat against other goliaths of war and tempests of the Dark Side of the Force.

This suit of Armor is a heavy attire built for steadfast and head on confrontation; intended in use of Battlefield Command and leading their people into the fight as opposed to giving orders from the side-lines, Veiere wishes to set an example with this armor set in that their King is not only able to but ready to take up the front lines offering himself as the stonewall defense to the people before any others would sacrifice their lives. Hailing from the belief that no good man can rightly send others to their deaths while not readily rising to the threat of his own mettle, this battle ready attire has been finely crafted of some high-grade and highly resistant materials that none of his former attires can compare to.

Starting with the most unnecessary component of this Warriors Attire, the Shroud (Cape) that hangs from the front of the shoulders, etched into the chest plate of his armor, drapes down his back and sides and drags at the back of his feet. Completely for show, this dark and fairly loose and baggy cape has been made of the finest silk encompassing the interior whilst on the outside is a tougher fabric better fit for the outside environments that would dirty and very likely damage it. This piece of cloth though a symbol to his lordship and noble right across the Commenor Systems Alliance, can and will likely be detached during times of war to save himself the bother of immobility.

With regards to the appearance of the Armor's metal plating, nothing on the outside appears out of the ordinary to those not sensitive to the nature of the Force and lacking the ability to pick up on the Aura's of others. Those whom are however capable will feel the flow of the lightside of the Force enveloping Veiere as he wears the battle attire; the forging of metals given a great deal of special attention to as Veiere has worked to shape them himself through the melding of Force Light into the smithing works that make up the Armor's final shape and decor. Each piece of Turadium plating used to reinforce the weaker points around the knee's, elbows, shoulders, boots and gauntlets received hours of meditation, imbuing his own presence into the make for which his most extravagant use of Force Light has been tested to aid him in the defense against the compromising effects of the Darkside of the Force and potent practitioners in said arts.

As for the use of Orichalcum, this rare metal was found upon the world of the Iron Contingency during which Veiere Arenais salvaged the resource during his excursion against the galactic threat. It has been used as the base material for the Armor set and bolsters a very significant defense against numerous types of attacks while accompanied by the Faraday Cage for which has been designed to counteract it's weaknesses against electrical/Ion Displacement charges.

Strengths:

  • Heavy Resistance to lightsabers and melee combat.
  • Orichalcum Plating - A rare and high grade metal found only upon Tartarus, this alloy bolsters the overall defense of the Heavy Battle Attire.
  • Internal Faraday Cage - Used to counteract the offense of EMP's, Ion Charges and Force Lightening etc (Energy Displacement).
  • Force Imbued - Aids in the Concentration and harnessing of the Force enabling the wearer to produce strengthened lightside abilities/attacks without the typically necessary preparation and build up for such practices (Meditation/Channeling of Energies etc).
  • Aids in the ability to cleanse the Mind and defend against Mentally Impairing effects of the Dark Side of the Force.
  • Increased strength/Potency in the ability of Force Light.
Weaknesses:
  • Heavy Armor demanding greater strength of mobility due to the increased weight of the Attire.
  • Melee Combat Armor - Designed for high impact confrontations, due to the weight and materials used, consistent long range weapons fire can result in extensive damage with prolonged exposure to ranged attacks.
  • Explosive or High Ordinance damage - High Explosive Damages, combined with kinetic force, resistance here is considered low at best as the Armor is not anti-ballistic in design.
  • Force Abilities are only strengthened in the above stated areas (Cleanse Mind, Force Light and Concentration) providing the wearer of the Armor is trained in the abilities mentioned.
  • Strengthened Force abilities are susceptible to Force Dead or Impairing Circumstance (Ysalamir etc)
  • Points of Weakness - Protection of the neck, behind the knees and elbows is significantly weaker than the rest of the build for the sake of maneuverability.
  • No helm - Preferring freedom of sight and lack of obstruction in his interactions with others, Veiere has chosen to go the way of declining the use of a helm and thus, offers a greater vulnerability should a killing blow find it's mark here.

Unfortunately, the Orichalcum counts as a restricted material, and you've already got phrik. You'll need to choose one or the other for this submission. Once you've got that figured out, lemme know and we'll take it from there.

My mistake [member="Rusty"], I meant to replace the Phrik with the Turadium when I saw the Incursion rewards thread go up.

The Phrik has been properly removed from the Submission now.

So the long and the short of it is this counts as a major Force benefit, and as such, you'll need to complete the following Restricted Mission:

Alchemized Artifacts/Items [including methods of Force Imbuement, Alkahest, Jal Shey, etc] that provide Major Force benefits

  • Embark on a quest to research, locate and recover or create the alchemized, Force Imbued, Force artifact/item in question. There is no set post limit, though you should tell a complete story.
You've also got some very potent strengths, but the weaknesses don't really add up to much.

Melee Combat Armor - Designed for high impact confrontations, due to the weight and materials used, consistent long range weapons fire can result in extensive damage over time.
But you've got blaster and slugthrower resistance as high, which contradicts this statement.

Veiere Arenais said:
Explosive or High Ordinance damage - If it can level a building it can kill the wearer. Combined with kinetic force, resistance here is considered moderate at best.
I'm not exactly sure how this counts as a weakness. The inability to survive a blast that would level a building isn't a weakness, it's a state of being. No personal armor is going to keep you safe from that.

This is sort of a nonissue, considering how powerful those abilities are. That's sort of like saying a Top Fuel drag car that can do a quarter mile in four seconds is weak because it doesn't handle corners well. That may technically be true, but it's a specialized piece of equipment that's a world beater in its intended purpose, so it's not really supposed to.

The other two weaknesses are decent, but you're still a good ways off from balance. That said, if you can come up with a couple good ones that balance this thing out, once you've got the restricted mission complete, you should be good to go.

I've made a couple smaller edits, specifically the contradiction that you pointed out (Completely missed that...).

I will get onto a Dev Thread/Restricted Missions thread ASAP.

For Good Measure - Started!

Thanks.

Added the following Weaknesses:

Development Thread has depicted the Force Imbuement within the Orichalcum alloy.

Kay and myself plan to continue on with the thread for the sake of personal story telling.
