SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Account Structured Hierarchy: Providing a ranking system for every personal account based upon the user's rank within the Jedi Order (Jedi Initiate, Jedi Padawan, Jedi Knight and Jedi Master). Each account will allow the user to browse data that is available to their given rank (Eg. Jedi Initiates cannot access Jedi Knight level clearance).

  • Jedi Archive Database: Connecting every Jedi Archive to the Jedi Comport allows for each and every Jedi Facility to have access to information and training provided by the Order for all students and personnel to use, no matter which branch or organization of Jedi they have come from. These subjects can range from History, Lightsaber and Force Training programs and theories, Political and Government history and information, and so much more. Any information collected by the Jedi Order can be found here.
  • Jedi Personnel Database: Providing a list of names and profiles for every member of the Jedi Order inducted into service and trained in the Force. Not only does this provide security to the Order by tracking every individual's history and receiving regular updates, but it also provides background information and personal account access to various other console and holonet programs and services.
  • Jedi Mentors Hub (Knights/Masters): Providing the Jedi Hierarchy with specific options and services meant to further enable Jedi Instructors to better prepare and educate their students. This section of the Comport also encourages all personnel above the rank of Knight to communicate and assist one another in Jedi affairs and day to day life (Social Media Outlet).
  • Jedi Student Hub: The section comprised for the education and tracking of every Jedi Students Progress. Students can access the Archive Database and information based upon their given security and account level clearance. Every Student has been offered an online Journal for the recording of their progress, as well as a social media hub to be able to connect, communicate and share their experiences with other Jedi Students across the Galaxy.
  • Missions Database (Jedi Academy Network): In conjunction with the Jedi Academy Network, the Missions Database allows any manner of Jedi Personnel to take on missions no matter where they are posted or stationed in the Galaxy.

  • Agri-corps Portfolio: A section of the Comport that depicts the nature, history and information about the Agri-Corps, how to get involved, where they're presently stationed and finally who's currently employed, as well as their individual profiles.
  • Edu-Corps Portfolio: Similar to the Agri-Corps, a special section on the Comport has been prioritized for the use of the Edu-Corps and students awareness around how to get involved and what can be gained from being involved and learning under the edu-corps, alongside the Jedi Order.
  • Social Media: A place for Jedi to share their stories and experiences with one another, to discuss any range of subjects relevant to the Jedi Path, and to communicate and learn from each other. This is not simply for Jedi Students, but all ranks and roles within the Jedi Order across the Galaxy.

  • Collects and regulates Jedi Data from active Jedi Archives, maintaining consistent information for the learning and maintaining of awareness and student education.
  • The Comport's server is out-sourced and shared via use of the Jedi Archives in each Jedi facility, and there is no single source that can be taken out to remove the service.
Weaknesses:
  • Like every holonet service, the Comport is reliant upon technology for sustainability and can be targeted by virus' or online intervention such as hackers (Online Security is strong however).
  • Can only be accessed via a Jedi authenticated profile/holonet account registered with one of the numerous branches/organizations of Jedi across the Galaxy.
DESCRIPTION

The Jedi Comport provides a consistent online Jedi presence via the holonet, accessible by any member of the Jedi Order and it's many varying branches/organizations such as the Silver Jedi or the Jedi Praxeum for example. In conjunction with the Jedi Academy Network, the Jedi Comport is shared across all Jedi hosted and connected servers, predominantly within Archive facilities of a Jedi Temple or Enclave.

For each member of the Order seeking to access the Jedi Comport, they would be required to log in under their registered Comport Accounts, secured via the Jedi Database monitored by qualified members of the Circle of Artisans for the utmost security and privacy of information. Once logged in, the individual will have access to a range of services mentioned above.

This Hub is a crucial tool for the Order in terms of information sharing across various Jedi facilities and locations, and aids in expediting emergency situations and raising awareness for facilities or peoples in need of protection and care. The opportunity and ability to further aid the Galaxy through the ease of communication and online planning is essential to on-going operations planned by the Jedi hierarchy, Jedi Council's and Grandmaster's, empowering them to recruit personnel for missions and tasks taken to the field/active duty within the wider Galaxy.

Access to the majority of services is regulated via Jedi rank, and ensures the safety of Jedi Students where the accessibility of potentially dangerous content is concerned. Archive data and subjects such as the theories and learned practices of the Dark Side of the Force for example, are restricted from student level accounts and require Knight level clearance to access. The Jedi Holocron Vault and database of the Order's most sensitive artifacts are restricted solely to Master level access, and there are varying sub-services accessible depending upon the path and purpose of one's focus of training (Jedi Artisans for example).

The Jedi Comport encourages and enables all Jedi to come together, to communicate and share their journeys as well as empowering and enriching their lives with a vast range of knowledge found within each of the Jedi Archives and facilities known to the Order. For anything relevant to the Jedi, all one needs to do once logged in, is simply search for their desired subject or service, and enjoy.
