• Javelin: The Javelin flies fast and true and packs a punch, doing what it was designed for. Attack.
  
  
• Space: The Corvette does have space for a single small craft, which could come in handy in a crunch.
  
  
• State of the art: The Javelin boasts state of the art tech, which makes the Corvette versatile yet efficient in an engagement.

• Alone again, naturally: The Javelin lacks its own compliment of support, which makes it vulnerable.
  
  
• Not the toughest: Even though it has a strong hull, its average defences makes the Javelin vulnerable to stronger attacks.
  
  
• Thanks for the backup, but...: If the main hyperdrive is disabled, the backup is slow which renders it almost useless.

Continuing the mdernisation of the House Renoux fleet, the Javelin come's on the tail of the Viper-class Starfighter, put forth by Hester Shedo from the Jaemus Shipyards.

Designed as both a compliment for larger vessels as well as a standalone attack vessel, the Javelin Corvette would be a boon to the complete House Fleet, despite it's meager defences. Fast and maneuverable and proper armament, the Javelin is meant to outperform bigger and slower ships, softening them up very well for the finishing blow of the Javelin's bigger compliment.

As far as weaknesses go, 'average defences' and 'the backup hyperdrive is a class 3' (which is actually faster than many civilian hyperdrives and much faster than the majority of backup hyperdrives) are pretty dubious, but I'll let it slide since the sub seems balanced as a whole.
