- The Sovereign is able to intimately interface with a launcher and ship's tracking systems to accurately release the proton torpedo.
- The Sovereign features precise built-in thrusters that can adjust the flight of the torpedo accordingly.
- Environmental sensors in the Sovereign help adjust tracking depending on atmospheric conditions.
- Blockbuster: The M31 Sovereign is an extremely powerful ordnance, able to flatten entire portions of armies and cities, as well as do immense damage to ships.
- Big Bomb: The M31 Sovereign is an especially large proton torpedo, meaning that larger ships and appropriate launch tubes are required to launch the torpedo.
- Poor Against Starfighters: The M31 Sovereign is not a proton torpedo meant for starfighter combat; its large size and low maneuverability mean that the Sovereign will more often than not simply be evaded by a starfighter.
The M31 Sovereign Heavy Proton Torpedo is Roble Manufacturing's first venture into the bomber class of ordnance; unlike its previous missiles, meant strictly for capital ship combat and starfighter assault, the Sovereign is intended to be a large area-of-effect ordnance dumb-fired from a ship launch bay. Able to flatten buildings and cause extreme damage to starships, the heavy proton torpedo is a high-end grade of ordnance perfect for intensified warfare.
