DESCRIPTION
With the recent Raid on Mahporeem and the rising tensions between the Final Dawn and the Wild Space Rebellion, Marlon Sularen realized that the Imperial Remnants were at a major disadvantage, as the Wild Space Rebellion knew the locations of major Imperial strongholds while the Final Dawn and Mahporeem remained unaware of the locations of Rebel strongholds in Wild Space. With the Imperials unable to directly retaliate against Rebel bases, the next best alternative would be to target their logistics and deprive the Rebellion of its ability to further undermine the Imperial Remnants in the Tingel Arm.

To this end, SularenCo began developing a new line of warships which could both serve as a patrol ship and a convoy raider, enabling the Final Dawn and the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant to both target Rebel supply lines while protecting their own across a vast swath of space. This would result in the Constrainer-Class Star Destroyer, a 600-meter-long light cruiser built with a focus on defensive firepower, high speeds and a high hangar capacity, ideal for both targeting enemy escort/supply ships and starfighters while also protecting friendly supply vessels and installations.

Furthermore, the Constrainer-Class Star Destroyer is designed to be able to operate far beyond the space controlled by allied Imperial Remnants for extended periods of time without the need for resupplying while also being equipped with technology that allows it to effectively slip in and out of battlefields, making it the ideal warship for both hit-and-run strikes and lengthy patrol operations. The Constrainer-Class is the ultimate power projection multiplier, ensuring that both the Final Dawn and Mahporeem can put a chokehold on entire hyperlanes and ultimately rob the Wild Space Rebellion's ability to be supplied by corporate entities such Si Tech.
