Description:
Local chapters of the Eclipse Recovery Network (ERN) adapt to the needs of their environments, cultures, and resources across the galaxy.
In the Core Worlds, they take the form of polished wellness centres with advanced technology, meditation pods, and licensed healers, doubling as prestige projects for Dashiell Incorporated™ while maintaining a strong public presence through partnerships and holonet outreach.
Mid Rim chapters are practical but welcoming, often repurposed civic spaces with gardens or sanctuaries, offering trauma support, addiction recovery, and community-driven workshops that make them central hubs of local life.
In the Outer Rim, facilities are modest, modular, or even mobile, focusing on crisis response, refugee care, and outreach to remote settlements, gradually earning trust through visible aid.
In conflict and post-war zones, ERN operates from fortified shelters that function as triage centres and trauma clinics, delivering intensive therapy, grief counselling, and rehabilitation to former fighters, offering a stable support system in collapsed regions.
Across all worlds, ERN facilities share a unifying identity marked by their eclipse-and-starlight emblem, symbolising healing, accessibility, and the reassurance that no community stands alone in recovery.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION:
Headquarters: Ralltiir.
Domain:
The Eclipse Recovery Network specialises in offering mental health and social services assistance to those affected by, or suffering from, post-traumatic stress disorder, primarily through the establishment and localised services provided by wellness centres, clinics, and outreach hubs.
These locations are often chosen through an assessment of needs in the various sectors across the Galactic Map, for example, worlds most affected by recent large-scale conflicts, or those of lower socio-economic standing requiring the added support of the not-for-profit organisation.
ERN is an outward-facing organisation that relies heavily upon being seen as a reliable, approachable and trustworthy organisation to reach as many people in need as possible.
As the organisation is wholly humanitarian-focused, it may often be seen providing support for small local community events, fundraising, and volunteering for other businesses and organisations to convey its desire to help make life better for the afflicted, the struggling, or those simply requiring a temporary shoulder to lean on.
Regardless of the world, each centre blends healing, accessibility, and community outreach, always carrying the same eclipse-and-starlight symbol to remind clients they are part of a wider galactic network of hope and recovery.

For those seeking possible employment under Eclipse Recovery Network, an employment interview is the standard process much like other careers, yet it will be the integrity of character that more than likely earns someone a paid position with ERN given that the services they provide are humanitarian and require certain values of its personnel to role model.
Core Humanitarian Values:
- Compassion: Treat every client with dignity and empathy, regardless of background, allegiance, or Force alignment.
- Patience: Recovery takes time; frontline staff must embody calm persistence, especially with trauma survivors.
- Respect for Diversity: Honour cultural, species, and planetary traditions, adapting care to local norms instead of imposing Core World practices.
Neutrality & Integrity:
- Nonpartisanship: Staff must never show favoritism toward political factions, governments, or Force traditions. A Clone veteran, a Sith deserter, and a refugee child are all equally deserving of care.
- Confidentiality: Survivors' stories are private; staff must protect identities and trauma records, even under political or military pressure.
- Accountability: ERN staff are expected to hold themselves to high ethical standards, reporting misuse of resources or breaches of trust.
Community-Centred Values:
- Service Before Self: Prioritise the needs of the community and patients over personal recognition or gain.
- Accessibility: Make support available to everyone, from senators' aides on Coruscant to miners on an Outer Rim moon.
- Collaboration: Work side-by-side with locals, Jedi healers, and even rival aid groups, showing unity rather than competition.
Resilience & Role Modelling:
- Calm Under Pressure: In post-war zones or during crises, staff must project steadiness to prevent panic.
- Hope-Bearing: Not blind optimism, but the ability to remind others that "no eclipse is eternal," demonstrating light can return after shadow.
- Balance: Encourage recovery in body, mind, and spirit; show others that peace within oneself is possible.
Corporate Ethos (Dashiell Incorporated™ Influence): Even though ERN strives for neutrality, Dashiell would expect frontline staff to reflect professionalism:
- Reliability: Deliver on promises of aid consistently, so Dashiell's corporate name remains trusted.
- Transparency: Communicate services, processes, and expectations.
- Efficiency with Humanity: Use resources wisely without sacrificing compassion.
Climate: Trauma Counselling, Mental Health Support, Volunteer Services.
Reputation:
The Eclipse Recovery Network is generally regarded positively, often seen as a lifeline for veterans, refugees, and war survivors, with its neutrality earning broad respect by serving Jedi, Sith defectors, civilians, and soldiers alike.
Perceptions vary across the galaxy: in the Core, some dismiss it as a corporate publicity effort for Dashiell Incorporated™, while in the Outer Rim suspicion toward megacorporations lingers until tangible aid is delivered. In war-torn regions, the ERN offers dependable support, fostering deep loyalty.
Though strictly neutral in politics and Force alignments, the organisation remains deeply present in communities, a stance that sometimes sparks resentment from factions who view its impartiality as betrayal. Yet this very neutrality underlines its reputation as a genuine humanitarian force.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION:
The origins of the Eclipse Recovery Network are deeply tied to the personal journey of its founder, Balun Dashiell. From the age of sixteen, he was thrust into the harsh realities of war, carrying a burden that would leave an indelible mark on his life. Unlike many of his peers who remained within the structured mentorship of the New Jedi Order, Balun chose a different path.
After leaving the Order, he returned during the first Invasion of Coruscant to aid in the defence of the Jedi Temple, and later that same year enlisted with the Tingel Arm Coalition, joining the campaign against the Empire of the Lost.
With the eventual defeat of the Coalition by the Imperial war machine, Balun was forced to reconsider the course of his life. This reflection led him to the Royal Naboo Republic, now recognised as the High Republic, where he continues to serve alongside the Jedi Order while maintaining his independence as a Rogue Force User.
Amid these turbulent years, Balun also faced profound personal trials. He entered into a relationship with his childhood friend, Nouqai Veil, who had likewise grown up within the New Jedi Order. Nouqai, however, wrestled with her own identity as a Sith-Spawn, a struggle that pushed her into self-doubt, isolation, and ultimately away from the Jedi.
Their relationship ended in turmoil, and months later, she placed their infant son in Balun's care, revealing only then that she had been pregnant.
Denied the chance of choice, Balun was left to raise the child while Nouqai returned to the Sith. Her path would cross his again in time, driven by her desire to sever all emotional ties. Forced into confrontation with the one he still loved, Balun fought her to the brink of death, restraining himself only enough to leave her an escape rather than a grave.
These cumulative experiences of war, loss, and emotional upheaval helped in shaping Balun's deep understanding of the unseen wounds borne by those who live through conflict. From this hard-won insight arose the vision for the Eclipse Recovery Network, an organisation devoted to restoring balance, dignity, and renewal to all who endure such struggles.
