  • Highly Durable Metal, able to last a long time

  • Strong to blasters, light sabers and kinetic damage

  • Force Dampening Effects

  • Strong and durable: The metal is effective against lightsabers, kinetic damage, and blasters/plasma weapons.

  • Force Dampening: The metal makes it harder (but not remotely impossible) to use the force through it. It's akin to making it take more power, concentration and time to effect whatever is on the other side.

  • Limited quantity: It cannot be synthesized or fielded in large amounts, and the planetary system of Masterra must be in control of affiliated people to use.

  • Vibrations: Strong vibrations destabilize the more crystalline matrix of the metal, meaning sonic attacks are more effective against it than normal.

  • Force Dampening: If used in a practical application, it would hinder force use, making it harder for the consumer to use the force while in/holding it.

While attempting to make her Promise rings, Allya found a curious material in the asteroids in the Masterra system. There were microscopic bits of metal in the rocks of the asteroids that when melted down into a pure brick became a most curious metal indeed. The metal was strong, able to withstand lightsaber attacks for a few swings, blasters, and even kinetic damage. It had a more crystalline structure, making it more rigid than flexible, and sonic attacks could cause fissures in the metal. It was of an average weight, not to heavy, not to light. However, it was when Allya attempted to use the force through a sheet of it, that it's most amazing property became known.

It slowed down the force. Not the living force itself, but the time it took to make a command happen. Where once she could lift an object instantly, it took several moments for it to rise. It also took a lot more concentration and a bit more energy than normal. She could still do so, but the over all effect, was that the force was more dampened, slowed down, more sluggish through the material. Frankly, she knew her taozin amulets were better for hiding, a void stone for stopping powers, and a ysalamir for stopping the force altogether. However, this difference, while not great, was enough to be able to give soldiers a fighting chance against force users when in mass. Her soldiers. Her Dauntless. Immediately, she began to research a stable form of the metal, and bringing in world devastators to chew through the asteroids.

She shared this discovery with [member="John Locke"] , who had helped her with many of her more subtle technologies in the recent past. She was still a child, and eager to share her work with her friends.
