• Material: Electronics, Carbon fibre, lenses
SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:

 • Protects your eyes from bright lights and harmful UV rays, the lenses are able to polarise to adjust for varying amounts of light.

 • The lenses contain smartscreen technology that allows them to display an augmented reality display or a heads up display allowing the wearer to keep aware of the world around them without the need for a helmet of bulky visor.

 • The frame of the glasses contains bone conduction speakers that allow the wearer to listen to audio without the use of earphones and without anyone else being any the wiser.

 • The frames contain cameras and microphones which allow the user to transmit visual and audio recordings

 • The glasses are able to connect wirelessly to a communications device via both wireless and bluetooth technologies, this gives it a limited range but makes it hard to jam the link between the glasses and their paired comms device.

 • Heads-up display allows for targeting improvements allowing the wearer to target multiple targets or improve their accuracy as well as providing IR and enhanced light modes.
Weaknesses:

 • Fragile: The glasses are unarmoured and any kind of physical attack can break them, just like any normal pair of sunglasses.

 • EMP/ion: Like any set of ungrounded electronics an emp or ion attack will take the glasses offline.

 • Jamming: Much of the benefit of the glasses comes from their comms ability, which is easily countered by standard jamming.

DESCRIPTION

Not every combatant on a battlefield wore heavy armour and not every situation called for a heavily armed response. It was to that end that Locke and Key Mechanics looked to take their Minerva HUD System and cut it back into something that could be more easily transported and usable by people who weren’t in armour. The Theia was the final product, while not as capable as the original Minerva it does provide enhanced abilities while at the same time maintaining a light and stylish look. The result was a set of glasses which could act as a communications aid while providing some enhanced visual benefits. Not the 360 high sensor level of the Minerva, but enough to provide an advantage to any wearer while also remaining extremely stylish fashion accessory.
