ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Dread Presence: These dreadnoughts are steeped in Sith sorcery, their hulls and cores embedded with artifact-clusters called Úmaiar Tsaiwinokka. Within a wide operational radius (miles), these relics emit a persistent psychic assault through the Force, potentially inducing hallucinations, and sudden, intense paranoia. Even disciplined minds struggle not to unravel beneath prolonged exposure. While Force Sensitive individuals attuned to the Light Side of the Force may resist these effects with great effort, it does tend to disrupt concentration and other Force attuned senses. Runes inscribed along the ship's interior mitigate these negative effects from overly disrupting the minds of living crew members, however serving onboard these vessels is never a pleasant experience for the living.
  • Battlefield Reclamation: Colloquially known as Shepherds, these dreadnaughts bear a core pregnant with Úmaiar Tsaiwinokka. These artifacts transform battlefields into resources rich environments, ripe for reanimation into the undead. In the aftermath of engagements, these massive ships are known to linger, reanimating the fallen into twisted and undead thralls. Many captains deliberately harvest massive space-faring fauna prior to battle, storing their corpses within the ship's gaping belly. These remains are then later animated again, transforming into grotesque war-beasts to be unleashed upon enemy formations.
  • Boarding Superiority: Equipped with a wide array of breaching pods and assault craft, these dreadnoughts excel at operations involving forced entry. Once launched, this vessel's boarding torpedos spill forth horrific waves of undead creatures into enemy ships, disgorging boarding parties which ignore impossible odds, and casualties, where every fallen enemy risks immediate conversion into yet another raised attacker.
  • Dead Space: Significant sections of the vessel are intentionally depressurized or exposed to vacuum. This nullifies conventional boarding tactics, limits enemy mobility, and creates lethal traversal conditions for the unprepared. The ship's undead occupants operate without restriction. Much of this dead space is filled with the organic remains reaped from previous battlefields, becoming a hive of horrors crawling along bone-like formations within.
WEAKNESSES
  • Dead Space: While advantageous defensively, the ship's vacuum-exposed architecture severely restricts movement for any living crew or allied forces. Without specialized equipment or preparation, even simple traversal becomes hazardous, complicating coordination, repairs, and internal response efforts involving the living.
  • Centralized Control Dependency: These vessels rely on powerful directing intelligences; Sith Lords and other sorcerous captains, Jen'koshū Dreadlords or Jen'rusalka wraiths. Should these leading figures become incapacitated, killed, or destroyed, the ship and its adjoining fleet may suffer a severe loss of coordination.
  • Unstable Biological Assets: The dreadnought's reanimated war-beasts, harvested from previously visited battlefields or else the massive remains of space fauna, twisted through the sorcerous effects of the Úmaiar Tsaiwinokka are powerful but inherently volatile. These abominations degrade over time, their physiology being prone to mutation and decay. In prolonged engagements or when exposed to extreme damage or exposure to the Light Side of the Force, they may become increasingly erratic, ignoring precision commands and lashing out indiscriminately at unrecognizable vessels.
DESCRIPTION
Forged on Korriban under the command of both Darth Caedes Darth Caedes and Elmindra Xitaar , this vessel is classified not merely as a dreadnought, but as a Old Imperial Dread Carrier, a capital ship designed to wage war through sustained deployment of terror inducing assets, or else psychological warfare, rather than with conventional naval tactics. Its most striking feature is its skeletal outer hull, constructed from fused bone and other necrotic materials, giving these vessels the appearance of a colossal, long-dead leviathan drifting through space with a massive, gaping maw. This structure is not purely aesthetic; these bones are reinforced through techniques of applied Sith Alchemy to make the bone-plate exterior both resilient, self repairing, and the bearer of certain sorcerous protections like Taozin Skin undercoating.

Internally, the ship functions as a mobile staging ground for horror. Vast bays house boarding craft, breaching pods, and containment vaults filled with reanimated war-beasts, achieving its victories by means of infectious boarding actions, psychological warfare, and undead, sorcerous assaults. Its core is laced with evil artifacts called the Úmaiar Tsaiwinokka which emit a maddening and invasive Force compelled and electromagnetic field, causing madness, fear, paranoia, and severe hallucinations. In battle, it excels at close-range attrition and battlefield reclamation, raising the fallen to reinforce its ranks.

These dreadnaughts are often deployed as mobile battle stations or HQ, defending important worlds or strategically important resources. Functioning as heavy hitting annihilators and fleet carriers, they are designed to crush smaller fleets, always accompanied by a flotilla of deadly fleet elements.
