It wasn't long before Siv's past crossed with that of a hulking figure dressed in a poncho, carrying a shrouded crate that almost managed to be as big as the man that bore it. To a common passerby it would look like another near-human labor servant, or even slave given the parts they were in. But Siv's perceptive eyes made notice of the bits of black armor that shone beneath the imperfections of the poncho. The bulge where a blaster pistol lay concealed.

"Good to see they didn't send me in alone," Siv muttered in a soft tone as he fell in besides the Mountain of Mandalore. He chanced a glance at the massive crate that Kranak Vizsla was carrying. "Explosives?" he guessed in the same muttered tone, trying to remain inconspicous. One shrouded traveler was one thing; but two, one of them very large and carrying an ominously-large crate, was starting to earn them stolen glances from civilians passing by. And not all of them are just civilians, Siv thought ruefully as they continued through the Starbase.

It wasn't long before they reached the central complex. The outer gate was enscribed with words in a Huttese script, and below them a translation written in Galactic Basic: MAIN HANGAR BAY. "Looks like our location," Siv decided, checking that his blaster was in working order and the safety was off before gesturing for Kranak to follow him inside.

"I thought you didn't work for him."

Aves put her glass on the chip and moved it closer, but did not break eye-contact with the one-eyed ithorian.

"Well maybe-e I'm crazy too." The ithorian chuckled.

Aves lifted her glass in a salute and subtly swiped the chip as the ithorian's cup clinked with hers. It would seem this one was more involved than he let on. Perhaps the clue wasn't a complete dead end after all.

A long chug, she finished the emerald drink. Slipping out of her seat, she patted on Wooma's shoulder. With a practiced motion, that pat put a tiny tracker on his jacket. It didn't have the longest range, but it allowed her to keep track of him well enough. If she had to, she'd put her crosshairs on Wooma too.

As she stood up, Aves looked across the room.

There were faces she recognised, like Shai Maji Shai Maji and Alora Vizsla Alora Vizsla , but she did not linger on those. It was best they did not interact, lest it blow their cover. But there were other figures as well, less savoury ones. Thieves, murderers, smugglers, and what else turned the stomach. She maintained an impassive face, but felt her eyes drawn to some of the worst among them. Something inside her, like a push, steered her attention to one individual in particular.

Large fellow, masked, big hat, heavily armed. Messorem Messorem had a stink on him that she only ever smelled on the most hardened criminals. Reflexively, Aves caressed her blaster with a thumb, reassuring herself of its position.

Just in case someone did something stupid.

Her brown eyes narrowed.

0cNNsOQ.png

"Whore!"

A red Twi'lek half-walked, half-stumbled through a door into the loading area, bottle of golden ambrosia booze in one hand. Her voice carried through the complex even while the target of the excitement was less than two feet away. One arm was thrown about that of another woman who looked slightly less intoxicated.

The pair staggered to a stop, arms interlinked to keep one another steady as they doubled over in laughter.

The Lethan straightened up and took another hearty swig from the bottle before she shoved it into the other's chest to take. "That's right. You see something, you take it. You see a hot man, you grab him." A chuckle followed. "Or a sexy lady." The Twi'lek's eyes narrowed slightly as she leaned in toward her companion. "And you look... pretty sexy."

When not distracted by the spectacle, one's eyes might be drawn to their appearance -- habit of a paranoid mind. Though from this angle neither appeared to be carrying any equipment whatsoever. The Twi'lek wore leather, while the blushing woman at her side wore cloth and denim. There wasn't a blaster between them. Being a starbase with a cantina two drunken people stumbling into a bay -- especially the wrong one -- probably happened more often than people liked.

The tattooed Twi'lek paused her laughter just before she slowly turned her golden eyes out toward the contents of the bay. She smacked her lips and squinted. "Is this where... we parked?"

Then, suddenly, the Twi'lek straightened up with wide eyes at the sight of Cass Gemini Cass Gemini . A red hand patted and then patted several more times against one of her companion's breasts as the Twi'lek's gaze was out into the open and not where her hand was. "Look. Look, look, look. Look at that badass babe. She could slay me any time." They weren't shouting, but neither were they using their best inside voice. "I'mma... go talk to her. You stay here."

Guards? What guards? Oh, all the crew and people milling about with weapons that'd helped move the merchandise? Right. Well, drunk Twi'lek. Guards didn't exist. Until they did. Now, out of her way! They had a date with Destiny. Er, Cass.

While on his way to the central complex to intercept the blood slug trade, the giant tried his best to look inconspicuous as possible, keeping his head down as he pushed the hover-cart in front of him, in an attempt to make himself look like a menial laborer. His stature earned him intrigued glances shot at him here and there on a few occasions, though. He could feel he was being watched. He detested missions that involved covertly infiltrating an area in somewhat crowded places such as the starbase. His demeanour and his stature would make him stick out like a sore thumb, sometimes. The hooded poncho he wore helped, but was it enough?

It seemed like it was working for the time being. He wasn’t being shot at yet, nor was he stopped by any punks, yet. But maybe he was walking into an ambush. Maybe the enemy learned he was coming and set up a trap somewhere on the path he was taking, a warm welcome. The giant was scanning his surroundings without moving his head as he paced down the spacious, dirty and sometimes crowded corridors of the starbase.

There was no use in staying worried about such things, however. There was only one way to find out how this would go. The giant kept his pace as he made his way towards the meeting site. As he continued on his path, a humanoid silhouette veiled in a cloak and cowl similar to Kranak approached him from behind.

“Good to see they didn’t send me in alone,”

The man muttered in a soft tone as he matched his pace with the giant’s, walking beside him. His familiar voice was altered by a helmet’s annunciator; his voice came out with a radio-esque crackle behind his helmet. It was Siv. He was among the members of the fireteam that was dispatched to this mission, but he didn’t expect to cross paths with him until later.

“Explosives?”

Asked the Revered Bounty Hunter, referring to the contents of the large crate. The giant gave a brief nod of his head without sparing a glance at the man, attempting to not draw any unwanted attention from the aruettise walking around them. <”Mm-hmm.”> confirmed Kranak. <”And something extra, of course.”> The giant giggled lightly as they continued making their way to the central complex.

The two halted next to the large outer gate of the central complex. The path behind the gate would lead them to the Main Hangar Bay. It was bandit country beyond these large doors. The giant looked over his shoulder swiftly after they stopped, towards the way they came to check if they were followed. The giant turned on his helmet’s interactive heads-up display at the same time. His darkened visor dimly glimmered white upon activation. His faceplate’s features barely visible, the visor gave the giant an eerie look, coupled with his size.

“Looks like our location,”

Spoke Siv, as he checked his blaster for a last second weapons check before heading inside.

The corridor was empty, much to the giant’s liking. If the lowlife criminal scum had some ambush planned for them, they would be more than ready to break whatever they could throw at them, the giant assumed. With a satisfied nod, the giant turned his attention to the large crate he had hauled all the way here from his gunship.
<”Wait a second.”> said Kranak, as he removed the crate’s lid, revealing its contents to the Bounty Hunter.

The giant pulled out the large, back-mountable power generator pack and magnetized it on the backplate of his ‘gam, making sure it firmly sat in place. Once it latched into place correctly over his large poncho, the Ori’ramikad grasped the giant Particle Beam Chainblaster by its handle with his left hand and lifted it from inside the crate with ease. He then pulled out several satchels and slung them over his right shoulder. There were a few more satchels remaining in the crate.

<”You want some?”> inquired the giant at Siv. The charges within the satchels came with adjustable fuses and the likes, but there were two remote firing devices, configured to the radio frequencies of the satchel’s transmitters. The giant grabbed one as he asked, and tucked it inside one of his empty pouches underneath his poncho.

The giant would position himself besides the bounty hunter before the large gate once they were both ready to execute the mission. Unsure what exactly laid behind the door, the giant assumed an appropriate combat stance, with the immense recoil of the massive chainblaster in mind; his feet would be staggered -left foot would be on the fore- and placed slightly wider than his shoulders for recoil compensation.

<”Alright. Let’s do this, vod.”>

Once the cocky but somewhat admirable gunman offered the pass code, tensions dropped, as did a lot of aimed weapons. Dispara slung the fuel gun over her shoulder and moved to stand with Cass and Isidor, Tyra in tow. Cass broke out the 'deal sealer' and the generous pirate captain handed out her canteen. Dispara knew it would be the good stuff, Cass knew how to party, hell, she had a nightclub on her ship. The blonde pirate took the offered cup and received a good dose of rum before passing it on.

There was talk of the Enclave. Yes, the Mando's in the area had gotten a self-righteous burr up their hineys and were 'cleaning out the scum' of the sector. The half-Sephi she-pirate and her Kraken peers qualified as such, she figured. It was a pall that hung over the systems, and even in that space station. Where would those armored wingnuts show up next. Ashlan Crusaders, The Enclave, all these do-gooders had one problem, their version of good ain't exactly everyone else's.

There was a low murmur of conversation as tensions dropped and the hand-off of the bloodslugs was readied. Then burst in the boisterous crimson Twi-lek and her companion. Dispara's hand went for the plasma carbine over her shoulder, but paused when she saw the women were three sheets to the wind. and she grinned at the sight. The red-skinned Twi'lek was a sight to behold, in spite of her wobbling about and loud tone. Like most everyone, Cass earned their admiring stares. Suddenly, Dispara laughed out loud at the woman's comments, winking at Cass. But she grew even more alert as the Twi'lek moved towards them, and especially Cass. Her hand instead rested on the hilt of her vibromachete. Dispara thought of something she should have done as soon as she arrived in the room. She veiled her connection with the Force.

A cold chuckle escaped the mercenary as he listened to the woman's comment. "Don't get too confident, sweetheart." He quipped. Things seemed to relax finally as the woman pulled out a flask and poured him a shot of the drink. He took the glass and studied the drink. This was about to get very awkward.

"I'd hate to waste a good drink, but sadly I can't drink alcohol." He admitted casually as he poured his glass into hers. "You'd probably enjoy seeing me choke to death from a silly allergy, but I ain't keen on dyin' today already." He joked as he pulled a toothpick from a pocket and slipped it between his lips. "The name's Vince. These guys..." He glanced at them for a moment. "... Eh, not important enough." He shrugged. The scoffs and grunts from his men were a clear indication of their distaste in his words.

She went on to give some useful advice that made Vince stiffen a little. "Increased traffic ain't ever a coincidence." He stated as he looked around. "Alright boys, let's get this cargo loaded. Unless ya'll wanna see how this is gonna play out!" He ordered his men. Two of them took the crate and carried it back to their ship while the rest spread out a little. "Did your men even set up a perimeter? Scouts or anythin' like that?" He asked her with a glare. He gave a signal to his men and two more split off to head up into the catwalks and windows. They had to at least get some form of recon on what was going on around them. This was why he didn't like working with pirates. Lousy operators... though the looks were at least not too bad.

"You lot see anythin', you-" He was cut off when two random women stumbled into the facility. :: Yo boss, movement outside the complex. :: His commlink chimed in as well. His face hardened as he looked at Cass and her group, then at the approaching women. Paranoia was sometimes unnecessary but in his line of work it carried him far. "This is exactly what I meant." He said to Cass and the rest of the group before his pistols left their holsters and fired two bolts each at both Twi'leks in the blink of an eye.

Outside, the two scouts were waiting patiently. They only had a slight glimpse of the two people outside, but with no proper angle of attack, they were silently observing from the shadows.

Everything seemed to be simmering down and, the tension was down a few notches. But Isidor remained alert. Taking the Cantine from Dispara he too gulped the rum down, he resisted the urge to drink more of it. Just as well, best not be tipsy while on the job. Especially when everyone has weapons on them. So he placed the Cantine in a safe place out of reach. Best place for it. Vince’s waspy attitude grated on his nerves but, the prospect of money kept him from being equally snide back.

Suddenly the sound of voices pulled him from his intense stares of disdain from Vince to the two Twi’leks that walked, no, stumbled into the Hangar. He noticed the sudden attention Cass was getting and a large part of him wasn’t too pleased with it. Not one bit. Was he jealous, no, at least he thought not?

He discreetly moved closer to Cass almost protectively that is until the blare of blasters firing stopped him, oh boy, everything is going sideways and inside out today. There was activity outside his own HUD blinked a warning. He signalled a warning to Dispara that there is something nearby that could be hostile.

So he sprung into action and aimed his own blaster up to fire at Vince. As he was the one who fired first. Keeping himself between Cass and the 2 women. He WAS being a tad jealous, he realised. He is protective of his friends, and Cass in particular.

The Farmers had provided Garrus with some of their local fare in a clay pitcher. By the time they came out with it the Mandalorian had seated himself at the small table. Reaching up he'd removed his Buy'ce and set it down beside him on the table while he settled on one of the old benches. After his helm came off Garrus would squint his eyes momentarily as his vision adjusted to the natural light without the assistance of his helms visor.

Once the pitcher was deliver, alongside a simple cup Garrus would look at the Farmer and offer a simple...

"My thanks."

...he could see there was still some tension written on the mans face though it was no longer for him. Taking the pitcher Garrus poured himself a drink then brought the cup closer to his mouth, whatever he was drinking was fragrant and as it touched his lips then moved on to the back of his throat he felt his taste buds light up. In one swig the Warriors sinuses lit up, his breath caught in his throat---so he took another drink...

"Your land looks dry, your houses in disrepair. What's happening here?"

...initially his words caught the Farmer off guard, the man seemed hesitant to speak but finally he told Garrus...

[Thanks to the Blood Slug trade the local smugglers and criminals have brought a lot more activity to Lyran IV. They tax all the honest farmsteads to feed their men. Sometimes its hard for us to get by and I know several families nearby that are also affected.]

...to this Garrus could only nod his head once while taking another drink but the Farmer went on to state...

[That's where the mistake in identity happened. They're supposed to return today looking for more, I was going to make a stand against them.]

...when he finally set his cup back down Garrus would turn his head, gazing at the man he examined him briefly and recalled the archaic slugthrower he'd met him with when he initially arrived...

"With what I seem you carrying you'd be dead before anyone wanting to loot this place was concerned."

...the Farmer had started to respond but Garrus had noticed a cloud of dust rising in the distance as he turned his head. Looks like the Tax Man was on his way after all just as expected. Glancing back at the Farmer he'd only grunt...

"Go and hide. Don't come out til the shooting stops."

...the Farmer did as he was told, back away before turning to flee. Garrus poured himself another drink. From where he was sitting the Mandalorian hypothesized that it was two, maybe three landspeeders full of occupants. Nothing horrible but he wouldn't complain about a little back up.

"Heaven offers nothing that the mercenary soul can desire"
Kes was still staring at the datapad when the sound of blaster bolts rung out in the hanger. In instant he looked up and Neth already had his hand on his blaster pistol. A few meters away where the other party of who he presumed where just another group of criminal low lifes had suddenly turned into an intense stand-off. He let out a deep sigh before approaching with Neth following closely behind. "By Manda'yaim do you really have to start a karking gunfight!" he shouted as he got closer.

Kes still hadn't drawn out his weapon and he stopped in his tracks and crossed his arms. "Some of us have been waiting in line and just want to get our merchandise and get out of here." Kes normally would've spent time trying to analyze everyone but as of now he couldn't care less. This was supposed to be a simple, low paying job to get him back into the swing of things. Kes wasn't any help in calming things down either nor did he have any idea why the whole stand-off had started, he simply approached like an angry customer who couldn't be assed to wait for his order.

Cass knew how it was, Vince couldn't drop thi attitude in front of his men, a lot of leaders feel that keeping up that hard exterior in front of the men was everything. It wasn't her style but he could respect it.

As he poured the drink back in to hers she shrugged and grinned "alcohol allergy, that's gotta suck, it's good stuff this" then chugged it back, no sense wasting it.

She was getting a really tense feeling now, and it only worsened as two apparently drunk twi'lek women approached, there was something off about them. How did they just stagger into a criminal controlled hidden space dock while drunk? Cass had posted sentries and they had shooed a few people off, but this place was a rabbit warren of passageways and entrances. She felt like the women wanted to pounce on her, unfortunate as it was, it wasn't that kind of party tonight.

She was about to open her mouth and tell them to do one, when Vince opened fire, in a flash she had both her harlequin sabers in her hands and they were ignited. The red and black blades played with the shadows on her outfit and there was a glint in her red eye.

Isidor jumped in front of her and Dispara and instinctively took aim at the courier, his body language looked like he was trying to defend her, she was flattered but it was unnecessary, and if it were anyone else she would be offended. She smiled at Dispara, and whispered, "when we are done here I have a secret to share, girl to girl, and she winked." louder "I think Vince might be on our side for this one Isidor?" And she grinned.

Another group came running in "is everyone coming to party with us now or something she shouted?" Stepping out from behind her noble protector she engaged her grav pack and was ready to leap into whoever threatened her and her allies. She was more than ready for a fight, fight now, other fun later she thought.

"Alright then? Who wants a piece of Cass Gemini?"

Seated in his booth, Messorem's gaze swept across the bar, taking in the various patrons. The quiet hubbub of the various patrons washed over him, preventing him from hearing any one conversation. It was a natural defense against eavesdroppers, but he also knew it wasn't foolproof. Foolproof was a safe room, cleared of bugs. This was simply a location to finalize deals, or accept them, not discuss details. And as someone who had accepted various deals over the years, he also knew to keep an eye out on outside watchers.

His hearing may be dulled by the hubbub of talking, but his sixth sense worked just fine. And right now, it was quietly going off. Someone, or multiple someone's, were watching him, or had been. Gaze sweeping the room once more, he scanned the crowd, searching for someone looking at him. Most patrons are focused on themselves and their company, a few are doing the same as him though, though more discreetly. Looking across Shai and Alora, Messorem notes them as a mix of keeping to themselves and looking about. He notes them as suspicious, but moves on as it's not obvious who they're looking at.

Then his gaze lands square on Aves, who has stood up by this point and is looking at him. Messorem notes her caressing a blaster, and his eye narrows. Right eye whirring, his cybernetic spins, the three red dots scanning Aves and giving him all the information it can. Raising a hand, Messorem gestures her over without a word. Curious and concerned with what she wants, worried that she's going to do something stupid as well.. A patron or two glance towards them, before focusing on their own drinks and continuing on. By and large there is little focus on them, currently.

0cNNsOQ.png

Zlova swayed as she walked/stumbled toward the band of merry pirates, all while smiling like a love-stricken Twi'lek. A dazzling, warm smile that didn't waver even when Vince lifted his blaster. Because the drunken, uninvited guests apparently hadn't seen it; loss of balance had the red woman twirl lazily off to one side just in time for the bolts to fling by. A little stumble followed the drunken woman regaining her footing before she resumed her trek forward.

While Zlova had been turning about, she casually gestured off to the side to 'throw' the innocent woman out of harm's way of Vince's second shot. Poor dear dropped behind some crates, picked herself up, and quickly scampered back the way they'd come. It was perfectly safe for her to do so. After all, the two of them had seen their way into this den of vipers with everyone's blessing. Who would refuse the darling words of such a beautiful, warm Twi'lek like herself? Oh, and some mind games using the Force, of course, didn't hurt.

Pretty lightsabers had ignited and all the little pirates were on edge. One even shot at one of their own. They were always going to be on edge -- since they'd been busy threatening each other -- but now they had a brilliantly red woman to draw their immediate focus. Zlova lifted her hand and reached out toward Cass, "You are the night diamond to my starless sky," she cried.

Oh, did... did they think she was going to bust out her own sabers that easily? No, no. The others hadn't busted down the door yet. Besides, two shots? Two? Zlova hadn't spun out of the way because it'd been the most effective means of avoidance. It wasn't even entirely to stay in character either. It'd been because it'd been that dreadfully easy to do and not worry about getting hit in the back for the arrogant display. Where were all the other blaster bolts? Where was the "we will murder you" cry of the pirate scum? No, no, if they wanted a fight they'd need to do more than give her dirty looks. "Lady of the Night, that I might taste of your lips...!"

While Shai had excellent hearing compared to the average person, she still couldn't keep up with some of the tech people carried around sometimes. She shrugged at Alora's comment and took another sip. "Hey, you're the tech buff here, I'm still sitting with the mark one resonators here." She joked, flicking her own ears. Apparently she had managed to get some useful information from the man they were eyeing in the chattering, only issue now was making good on said information. Her gaze turned to Ailana who gave a profile on the man before doing her typical witchy thing and disappearing in the blink of an eye. "Hate it when she does that. Still, she's karking handy." She admitted to Alora as she glanced to her.

"Okay, what would you suggest? You got any other info out of 'em or should we pay a closer visit? See if we can coax some info out of him." She asked her casually. She didn't know what Ailana was going to do but she trusted her to a degree so far. The girl was a cheap shot for jokes but she wasn't an idiot. Shai was confident that the seer would get something useful for them.

As they were still speaking, the man had waved Aves over to his table. From the corner of her eye she watched the interaction play out while taking another long sip of her pint. Perhaps they didn't need to move on anyone just yet. If they were lucky, the man would give some more information away and they could get a lead. Where everything was going down, who the players were, the whole shebang. Frankly, Shai doubted that they would be so fortunate, but one could hope.

Things were getting wonky, and one minute they were drinking rum with some new acquaintances while they did business, the next blaster bolts were humming and a hot but weird woman was all googly for Cass. Vince, the cavalier receiver of the shipment, thought putting a burning hole through the wasted Twi'lek was the thing to do. Maybe he knew something she didn't, but it got folks flinching. Isidor, bless his soul, lept in front of Cass like a real gent, his own blaster aimed at Vince. Seems like no one had a bead on who was the bad guy at the moment.

Cass had whipped the vibro-machete out of its sheath, since that was where her hand had been resting. In the moment of quiet after the shots rang out, the soft hum of the weapon could be heard. Then Dispara heard Cass' voice whisper in her ear. With a glance at the red and black-haired woman, Dispara grinned and nodded slightly. Girl talk? She couldn't wait to hear what Cass had to say. And she agreed with Cass, she didn't know why Vince hauled off and opened fire, but he wasn't the enemy.

An armored man who had been standing idly by, out of the way, began to complain about the rukus, while the red Twi'lek, undeterred, continued to woo Cass, ignoring the gathering of armed folks around her. As the woman blurbed out some sugary love talk to Cass, Dispara giggled and rolled her eyes. Something about the woman just rubbed Dispara's figurative fur the wrong way. The grip on her vibro-blade tightened, the Force guided down through the humming blade.

There was a lot going on. Dispara thought she heard someone on Vince's comm mention movement outside, then there was the irritated guy in mando-like armor chiming in, and that apparently unarmed woman doing one hell of a job distracting all of them, seeming totally unfazed that she had been shot at. Was she that drunk? Something wasn't stirring the jawa juice, but Dispara couldn't put a finger on it.

Alora blinked. Well, first she stared then she blinked, and then Ailana vanished. Ooookay then. The strange man that didn't like the Enclave felt angry and lost a brother. That information should come in really handy when they... offered the man group therapy? And in response to this information Shai said the feline was 'karking handy.' "Uh, only because I trust you, I'll take your word on that." Because the colorful mechanic hand kind of expected, you know, something insightful? Like, 'I saw a vision of where their ship is' or 'I know who their ring leader is' or 'I can tell they are the one you can all stop guessing.'

Well hopefully this 'other angle' would maybe result in such information later. Shai seemed confident it'd happen.

"Well, I think I found where their ship is, but the camera quality is atrocious. It's either them or a Wookie." Alora's eyes fell back on her holodisplay and the video in question. Heavy distortion and grainy quality did not make it easy to tell if it was the same hat-wearing desperado they saw in the cantina or not. "They're not talking to their friend any more, so nothing new there. I might be able to triangulate the other end if they make another call. Speaking of which, the security here is pretty sad. Like, really, really sad. I bet the pirates tap into it now and then. Oh," Alora perked up a bit, "maybe I'll drop a virus that'll follow them back next time they do. Great idea!"

Aves was visiting Hatman? Cool. Alora's eyes didn't lift to watch. It really wasn't useful information to know the guy had waved Aves over. Like, zero use. In fact, probably negative ten use because it'd only distract Alora from dropping a tracing program to find the criminals in the area. Good thing Shai was there though to keep an eye on it in case the wave turned into something else -- like a gesture to 'go murder those beautiful women because I am an evil man.'

The Landspeeders cruised closer to the Farmstead. From where he was sitting, sipping the last drink he'd poured for himself from the cup he saw the vehicles as they came closer. At this range Garrus calculated it was four occupants to a Speeder, maybe five and that they were all packing an assortment of weapons, blasters mostly. Despite the imminent danger Garrus would finish his drink then reach for his Buy'ce, lower it over his head and lock it into place again.

As the Landspeeders came into the Farmstead the Mandalorian would rise from the bench where he sat at the table. The HUD in his helm activated alongside the Friend/Foe designator. No surprise that there were no friends indicated on his HUD. Up ahead Garrus watched as several of the Landspeeder occupants disembarked. A particularly grizzled looking man with a scar running down the center of his face approached Garrus shortly thereafter. The two of them would meet somewhere in the middle.

Before Garrus could speak the grizzled looking man, toting a Heavy Blaster Pistol started talking...

[Mandalorian huh? Yeah I recognize the armor. If the Farmers pooled enough credits together to hire some muscle they must have been holding out on us. We're gonna bleed those bastards dry for holding out on us.]

...there was silence then Garrus voice finally came over the comms....

"No ones paid me. I'm just passing through."

...this seemed to interest the man Garrus was talking to prompting the response that began with a toothy grin, several of the mans teeth looked like they were capped with gold or silver...

[No shit? Well my man then I have a deal with you. Help us out, a man like you could make some good credits taxing these scrubs.]

...Garrus said nothing. A silence existed between the two men for a time. Eventually the Mandalorian would lean forward, raising a hand and gesturing to the other who came a bit closer. It was the moment Garrus had been waiting for. Lifting his right arm Garrus hooked his hand around the back of the mans head before drawing him in, at the same time his head snapped forward hard delivering a 'Keldabe Kiss' to his target which crushed the mans face and left blood splatter across the Warriors visor. As the man crumpled to the floor Garrus was already reaching for his Blaster Pistol.

Everyone else back in the Landspeeders looked shocked as one of their own fell to the ground, they'd start raising their weapons to fire. Almost intuitively Garrus had raised his left arm, activating the Micro Launcher in the process. The Grenade struck one of the Landspeeders and the resulting explosion ripped through the vehicle sending shrapnel flying in all directions. The explosion killed at least two men still near the Landspeeder, the concussion from the blaster and shrapnel downed several more. Bodies scattered. The Warrior raised the Heavy Blaster Pistol and fired even as he planted a foot on the back of the neck of the man he'd felled and pressed until he heard it snap...

The Mandalorian grunted as a greasy hand rubbed viciously at his own forehead. Across from him, a less than humanoid bug creature continued to speak in its high pitched annoying mother tongue - one Soloman had the unpleasant skill of understanding. It continued before he shook his hand to interupt, raising his voice just above that of the bug's to get a word in;
"Look, I know I still owe you for Brentall, but I'll have the credits once you tell me where Valuvi is. All I want is Valuvi, then you'll have your credits; alright?", he said with his own growing annoyance.
Bug eyed but still managing to squint, the creature across from him furrowed what could only be considered their brow and repeated something, slowly at first, then paused. It seemed to accent each 'syllable' with a bony finger tap on the table - before leaning back. A toss of a bounty puck, and Soloman let out a sigh of relief; hoping to all that was good that the bug eyed creature didn't manage to put a tracking device on his ship - because despite what he told him, he still wasn't sure if he was paying.
"Thanks."
For chit all, he said to himself.
Standing, he groaned - wiping hairs from his face as he made slow progress back outside. A hot day, and one that would only get hotter - just as soon as he found where ever the hell he parked his speeder.

"Oh come on!" Cass said to Zlova Rue Zlova Rue "You look hot and normally I would love to welcome the two of you back there to have some fun, but if you are going to try and act drunk and horny? Don't try it with someone who lives for drunk and horny" She grinned and held her sabers tightly

"drunk and horny doesn't come crawling around a criminal deal and cerlrtainly doesn't use the force to throw her friends out the way of blaster fire quite so deftly" she gestured gently to lift Zlova upright with telekinetic energy, her response to this would be most enlightening.

Siv was motioned to pause by Kranak, and he did. The hunter watched as the Mountain removed the lid from the container, an barely audible whoosh emanating from the crate from the decompresure. Vizsla pulled out a massive repeating blaster with a back-mounted power generator, magno-locking the weapon into place before swinging out several satchels of explosives.

Kranak asked if Siv wanted any, and he obliged. He usually strayed away from using explosives -- most of the time they were too messy, too attention-grabbing for his line of the work -- but they were the right call for their mission objective. He grabbed a couple of satchels and attached them to his bandolier for ease of access before nodding. "Yes, let's," Siv agreed, "but. . . maybe with a less grand entrance," he added, nodding with his head towards a side door that led into the complex. As dramatic as blasting through the main hangar doors would be, Siv's experience had lended towards him favoring practicality over theatrics.

As it happened, there wasn't even a lock on the side door, and it slid right open for the two Mandalorians. He stepped quickly inside to come into what appeared to be a poorly-upkept reception area. The lighting was dim, and in the corner behind a rusted metal bar stood a run-down droid. "Do you have a docking bay permit?" the droid warbled, almost motionless. The droid's vocorecorder was filled with static and audio inconsistencies, another testament to the droid's age.

Siv's response was to flick a restraining bolt at the droid. "Sir, I--" the droid protested as the cylindrical device magnetically attached itself to its chassis, but Siv quickly tapped a button on his vambraces, activating the restraining bolt and silencing the droid. He nodded for Kranak to follow, unholstering his blaster as he did so. Hopefully the droid would be the most resistance the two encountered today.

Shots from the Heavy Blaster Pistol struck one of the hostiles in the chest and dropped him amidst the stiffness of the blow. In return shots were fired back at the Mandalorian however unlike the hostiles the Beskar'gam he wore enabled him to soak up an immense amount of damage. Blaster shots ricocheted off of Garrus armor, the Mandalorian barely stumbled. Instead he moved forward.

Aiming with the Heavy Blaster Pistol Garrus would drop another one of his enemies. The Friend/Foe Designator integrated into his Buy'ce and tied to his HUD continued to identify targets highlighting them with rectiles which flickered out when signs of life were no longer detectable or they left the Mandalorians field of vision.

The fighting was furious. Blaster fire was more intense from the hostiles but Garrus armor was up to the task. The Target Designator identified several men using the remaining Landspeeders as cover. Raising his left arm the Mandalorian activated the Micro Launcher again. Another Micro Grenade would land against the side of the Landspeeder it had been fired at erupting into fire and smoke that flipped the Speeder and sent the men using it for cover scattering. Shrapnel and concussion from the blast would catch several of them. Those who were caught in the blast and killed were thrown to their stomachs and incapacitated.

The Mandalorian continued his advance until a well placed shot the glanced off his Buy'ce caused him to stumble. Turning his head Garrus saw a group men forming up to press him, he'd pick up their voices over the blasterfire...

[Go! Go! Hit him! Don't let up! This bastard can't soak up all our shots.!]

...another shot hit Garrus then another causing the Mandalorian to step backwards a pace, he steadied himself then advanced again. This time as he moved forward a transparent screen of energy imposed itself ahead of him, an Energy Shield integrated into his armor. In the most literal sense it ate up the shots that targeted him.

Charging towards the hostiles Garrus all but ignored the blasterfire. Every shot was eaten up by the shield now screening his fore. When he came near the group of men the shield deactivated, he'd reach for one of them and after a short grappling contest had a man positioned in front of him as a 'human' shield with one arm wrapped around his neck...

[No. No! Don't fire! Don't fi---]

...at this point there were no friends only survivors. Blaster shots landed and made the body in Garrus grasp jerk then go stiff while the Mandalorian fired the Heavy Blaster Pistol he was holding and dropped two more of the men he'd been engaging.

Once two more of his enemies were downed the Mandalorian noted how designators on his Target Finder were flickering out of existence. All Hostiles weren't necessarily dead or incapacitated, several had undoubtedly fled. Pushing the body of the man he'd been using as a shield he'd let him fall prone, unmoving and then step over him. Turning his head he focused on the smoke rising from two of the three destroyed Landspeeders.

In the destruction the Warrior discovered a certain amount of calm, it had been such for years. He felt most at home in War or alone on his Farmstead, maybe that was way away from his comfort zones Garrus was almost always foudn with a drink in his hand. Now that the battle seemed to have passed there was a stillness, Garrus turned away from the mayhem.
