Death before dishonour!

Kammia; it is the largest agricultural planet in the surrounding area, it is also their largest export, for whom the Eternal Empire is also a huge buyer. So far, they have been able to preserve their independence, but recently unfortunate events have taken place. For the planet was attacked by pirates; the food was stolen, a significant portion of the crop was burned, the inhabitants of the Kammia were left with no trade and no crop, so starvation began on the planet.

It was then they sent a message to the Eternal Empire that they were asking for help, supplies, and aid to start over, to rebuild the infrastructure. However, it also came at a price, for the Empire did not provide such assistance for free. The Empire was ready to give the donations, the support, to completely rebuild the planet and drive out the pirates and thugs still there. But that came at a price, and that was the loyalty of the planet. The Eternal Empire would have benefited very well from such an agricultural planet.

The expulsion of the pirates was “undertaken” for free, as it was also important for them that the planet be able to trade again and resume agricultural production. Everything else will depend on the diplomats, and the Black Sun and Zweihander Union have helped the loyalists with that. At the same time, the Eclipse Rebellion arrived on the planet. They needed supplies, so they arrived, but this was not measurable in food or the like now.

Human supply, new rebels. Eclipse Rebellion has tried to take advantage of the fact that the planet has been left alone countless times by various empires throughout history. The rebels are trying to use this bad historical event for their own benefit, hoping to find people on the planet who join their cause.

At the same time, even the Empress was on her way to negotiate with the locals, but she did not arrive. The dropship with which she travelled disappeared from the radars after the loyalists were unable to contact her…

arWRVPQ.png

Objectives

Objective 1: Help and Loyalty
u2Secfu.png
This objective consists of two parts. The Empire came to negotiate with the locals and their accession in exchange for the Empire to rebuild the infrastructure and repair any damage caused by the pirates. Therefore, to make everything work perfectly again, the Kammia must join the Eternal Empire.

At the same time, the armies of the Eternal Empire also arrived to drive away or kill the pirates still on the planet. This will definitely be done even if Kammia says no to joining. Because the entire planet is in flames and the enemy is everywhere, everyone could easily find a pirate who wanted to escape or fight.

Objective 2: Recruitment Opportunity
Ris29Cp.png
The rebels probably had several cells arriving on the planet, where they managed to organize a secret meeting in one of the larger cities with those who were not happy with what steps their government had taken and what they were preparing for. Thus, the meeting took place in one or more more deserted places. Now it was all up to the rebels to see if they could really put the dissatisfied people on their side or not.

Objective 3: BYOO
RvGsDxF.png
Bring your own objective, whatever you want. The point is to have fun.

At the same time, it was somewhat surprising and completely logical that so many pirates were popping up on the edge of the galaxy. They may have thought that the judiciary and the powers associated with it were too far away and would not interfere. On the other hand, if they wanted to trade, they were too far from anyone. Here, however, the proper power was not far off, and the Eternal Empire arrived here. Ingrid came to discuss with local leaders how much they were willing to do for the aid.

Of course, he offered their help to drive away and kill the pirates, which was also in the interest of the Empire, as they could attack the planets of the Empire at any time. That’s why everything else was really in question. The STRATCOM stipulated that full assistance would only be provided upon accession, Ingrid accepted this proposal and travelled here in person. She shouldn't have, but it reassured her if she worked. Her condition still hadn't improved at all, felt almost dead inside.

She performed her job perfectly as an empress, and even managed to accomplish Project Einherjar and Project Dísir, but emptiness, pain, and mourning were there. The outside world saw or felt nothing of it because she buried everything deep inside. The people of the Eternal Empire could only see the always cold and distant soldier. This was also true today when she was on a dropship toward the capital and one of the majors was her companion, not to mention the pilot. She was sitting in the back of the cabin reading a report on a datapad.

They will probably arrive in the capital in a few minutes for the meeting. And the woman was so immersed in the work that she had not yet sensed anything of what was to come…

The Termite was flying low with the rest of the incoming vessels, the hud of her helmet interfacing with the weapons that came online. A large Agents of Chaos symbol was half-painted on the door that held four droideka waiting to lend their own version of assistance whenever she found someone in need of reprimanding. The planet was to pledge itself to the Eternal Empire, but not enslaved to it. Which had made all the difference to the former slave Sasmay.

The decent to the planet was easy enough, the lack of pirates, or perhaps distracted ones had only offered limited blaster fire in her direction as the flechette repeater cannon swiveled out as her sensors locked in on the source. A small garage that held several heat signatures. Some warming up well past that of a standard persons body heat. A smile crept upon her face as she continued the hard burn towards the garage, coming dangerously close to landing on top of the building before the repeater cannon began to rip the ground apart around the garage.

Pirates, or at least she hoped were pirates given their incoming fire, fell quickly. Those inside were spared from the ravaging hail of shrapnel as she circled the building. The engines kicked up a hail of dust and debris as she scanned the building further, bits of greenery flying out of her path as she slowly eased back from the building amidst the surrounding farmland.

The beings inside sighed with relief, preparing to set out on speeder bikes towards waiting ships to make their escape. The soft woosh of air was the only sign of something amiss as a staggered trio of concussion missiles came hurtling in one after another before ultimately destroying the interior of the garage.

The small ground assault vessel bucked with each successive blast from the now cleared garage, Sasmay gingerly compensating for the pockets of turbulence with growing comfort as she turned the vessel and began looking for another target.

The absence of the Eternal Empire's Empress was causing the gathered farmers and locals to feel uneasy. She was scheduled to arrive over an hour ago, poised to listen and preside over the meeting; to find a solution to the problems facing them. Even Mikilanna was growing concerns. Every attempt to contact the Empress' dropship proved futile. Among the farmers, whispers and murmurs began to gain traction; the topic was easy to understand. They felt betrayed by the Empress and the Empire.

"Ladies and gentleman," she began stepping up to the makeshift podium, infusing a tone of authority in her voice as she spoke. "The Empire has not forsaken you. Obviously I am not the glorious Empress, but I speak on her behalf and we shall commence with these proceedings as scheduled."

Most of the farmers fell silent, falling into line. The times they were facing were rough and trying, so having anyone present to hear their concerns was better than being cast aside. Still, there were others who were taking a different stance on the situation. This group huddled together, slanging lies and false propaganda that the Empire has forsaken them. The harsh words they flung about were growing more heated and venomous, now splitting the farmers into two groups; pro-Empire and anti-Empire.

"S
tand down," she ordered the Empire's small contingency of troops, as they too, were seeing and feeling the schism begin to shape. If the troops intervened, regardless if it was in defense of themselves and the other delegates of the Empire, it would be viewed as both hostile and violent; giving more backing to the anti-Empire movement and thus causing a disaster that would eventually lead to forced occupation.

This was Eskk's first meeting with the empress and hopefully his last. So far, it seemed she had no idea of his true intentions. He planned to assassinate her. This would serve two purposes. Firstly, the empress was weak to begin with, she was trying to accomplish through diplomacy what should be accomplished through military might alone. Secondly, it would establish his cover for the rest of his plan to destroy Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun . If he was going to infiltrate the rebels, he would need a believable reason for them to accept him. Eskk didnt even care if he was ever allowed back into the eternal empire after this.

His rage with Loreena for escaping, among other things was all consuming. It wouldnt be enough to simply kill her, although that time would come. Only after he destroyed her reputation first. This was the first step to accomplishing that task. "I'll be right back, Lady L'lerim." He said to the empress who had her face buried in some report. They had hardly spoken during the flight, but Eskk didnt have much to say to her anyways.

He got up and walked into the cockpit, closing doors behind him. Once he arrived, he put his hand behind the pilots chair and leaned over his shoulder. "How close are we?"

"Just a few minutes out, sir." The pilot responded.

"It's a shame," Eskk lamented, "I dont think we're going to make it." As he finished speaking, with one quick movement he reached up and snapped the pilots neck. The pilot started to slump forward but Eskk propped him back up. He wouldnt stay like that for more than a few seconds, but it should give Eskk enough time to get back to his seat before the dropship started to nosedive.

Objective: Dispense Aid and win the hearts of the people.

Alli Vern left the negotiations with the government to others today. She wanted to help the people and boost her image. She had suffered a bit in the PR department since rescuing the ZU and getting them spacebound. People were tired of being in stations and missed regular life. She couldn't blame them and thus urged them to help others. It was a great distraction and got people doing something other than complaining. Alli smiled as her people did the last minute preprations at this site. She had locations across the world just like this. Each had supplies for any who came. There was a registration process to ensure that no one got more than the others. It was about time to open she thought as she walked up to the podium that was broadcasting to others.

"Good people of Kammia, I know times are hard right now. You are worried about feeding your family and the safety from the pirates. The Zweihander Union is here to help with the first part while the Eternal Empire strives even now to rid the galaxy of the pirates who have attacked your world. Now I know that my drive to dispense supplies to all might not solve your long term problems but that is not why you are hungry. You are proud and hard working farmers. Your goods are known the galaxy over. So what I offer is kindness and good will. I know that given a season you will have the fields planted and stores full of your amazing crops. But until then the Zweihander Union is here to help. If you want to pay us back then you can do so by buying our products in the future. I ask nothing in return just the smile on your faces and that knowledge that you will have full stomachs tonight and the time to come will satisfy me. The Zwihander Union is no stranger to tough times. We ourselves find ourselves without a home but we do have food, so Here we are to share and pay it forward. The Eternal Empire came to help us in a time of need so now we too help you proud citizens of Kammia in your time of need. "

The sites opened and the orderly process of dispensing supplies began. Droids and ZU troops patrolled, there for security and nothing else. It was nice to be able to help people she supposed. Hopefully no one got used to it however.

It is possible that the woman was very immersed in the work, yet she sensed the disturbance in the Force when the man killed the pilots. At that time, however, had not yet realized what had happened because she had not checked the pilot. And the major came back to the back a few moments later. Ingrid only looked up as the dropship tilted and began to descend at a fairly steep angle, much better than would be expected on approach and landing. It was more of a fall.

For her, telepathic messaging was much easier and faster than communicating with words - this has been the case since she learned telepathy - so immediately reached out to the pilot’s mind to send the pilot a telepathic message, but no longer felt the soldier. Given that the woman was also an assassin, she was quite likely the best of the Eternal Empire, so knew immediately what it was all about. The assassination also supported why the major behaved the way on Zakuul, where the anzati refused the orders. Cleaning should be held after these in the ranks of officers and soldiers.

Luckily, she was able to play roles well, so she didn’t seem to recognize the situation. And her acting skills were necessary, as few knew what she was capable of, it was a great opportunity for her opponent to trust herself and believe the major had surprised the woman. The dropship systems were switched to alarm state, the sounds of the alarm also sounded as the ship capsized and approached the ground quickly.

"What the…?!" asked in a surprised voice.

Emotion, too, was just a played one that could be felt in the Force; a perfectly played and executed emotion, none of which, however, was true. The impact occurs within a few seconds…

Eskk had barely sat down and got his safety harness on when the ship tilted forward? Did it happen too fast? The empress seemed to be surprised. Of course she was, Eskk was confident in his abilities and his goals. All was going to plan.

Eskk didnt speak now. He had been going to tell her that the pilot was fine, but he figured that with the wind rushing in their ears due to the steep rapid descent, it would be a waste of his breath. Eskk doubted very much the crash would kill the Empress, though it would certainly be convienient if it did. No, he was merely ensuring that he had time to do the dirty work of eliminating weakness within the Eternal Empire.

Eskk did his best to prepare for the crash in the few moments he had, but you could never really be prepared to crash. The ship's descent came to a sudden halt as it collided with the ground. There was the squeal of bending metal that came from the front of the ship, as well as the sound of breaking glass.

Eskk was jarred around by the physical force of the crash, but his safety harness did a good job of holding him in place. After the initial impact, the ship slid forward a few meters before coming to a final stop. Eskk could smell leaking fuel.

Now he spoke as he popped his harness. "I am not sure what happened. The pilot was fine when I left. You must stay here Empress," he requested. "It should be safe for now. I will secure the crash site."

Eskk left the ship and started to circle around until he found the leaking fuel. He placed one of his thermal detonators and activated a ten second countdown. He then turned and ran away from the ship. It would go up in flames in a few seconds.

Objective: Dispense aid, keep the people calm
Tags: Alli Vern Alli Vern
Rations had been packed, blankets were folded in stacks, and Clan Tal was doing what they did best. Providing humanitarian aid to those who needed it.

Taozi, however, was working through her emotions. The burnt crops, farmers who had lost their homes... It had been so long, but everything was bringing up memories of the Confederacy's attack on Taanab. Her knuckles were white as she clenched the datapad in her hands just a little too hard. She could feel her vode starring at her, every once in a while. Some were worried, others were stares of understanding.

But there was no time to coddle herself, when there were people in need of help.

It seemed that at least a few members of the Zweihander Union had the same idea as her, if the small speech from Alli Vern was to be believed. It was a good speech, but the people were still nervous. There was still fear in their hearts. Fear that... hadn't been relieved. Standing up onto a small, raised, platform, Taozi smoothed out her doctor's coat and scrubs. Sending out a wave of Calmness in the Force, she got the attention of those waiting in line for the Union's aid.

"Citizens of Kammia, I am Doctor Taozi Fuyuan Tal, Alor of Clan Tal. My Clan and I have come from Taanab, which once suffered a similar tragedy that has occurred here. My Clan, and the farmers of Taanab, feel your pain. We bring additional supplies, and new seeds for your farms, so once you have collected what the Zweihander Union offers, please come to us for medical aid, more supplies for your families, and any seeds you want or need. Thank you for your attention."

As Taozi spoke, she sent out more waves of calmness through the crowd. They were soft, and subtle waves. Just enough to keep people from becoming too anxious, and keep their attention. Once she stepped down off the platform, she made the waves even softer, but did not cease sending them out. She knew that fights could break out at any moment, so anything that could prevent one would be needed.

It felt...strangely naked, being here without Leigh at her side. Na'an exited her own freighter with her lightsaber at her hip, her helmet on her head, a sack on her shoulder, and a sharp prickle of unease on the back of her neck. The town where the Voice of Abbaji had sent her was larger than he expected, the kind of farming community that clearly rose and fell on the massive crops they delivered out to other worlds every year. It was certainly large enough to need more than one freighter to help with the aid process, given that the Rabbit had also been alerted somehow. Na'an nodded at the Mando, wondering if she recognized her under the Imperial goggles, before turning to the work at hand.

Her job had been simple--seeds and meds. Leigh was staying up in orbit to coordinate supplies and ensure a clear exit for any evacuations, but had sent Na'an down with enough triticale seeds to plant a third of the planet. Which was....weirdly funny, even under the circumstances. It reminded Na'an inexplicably of Karre Noba's place back on Dantooine, the old triticale farm where they'd lived for so long...back when it still existed. And she did see them here. She saw Karre Noba, her son, her workers, in the fearful faces of the people who had approached the ship looking for help.

It was their fear she was feeling, wasn't it? That prickle on her neck? Ever since she'd left Kalidan (but really, before that, only shortly before, ever since she'd managed to get back to the green world, and the thought of it flooded her mouth with the taste of fishy blood) it felt like her senses had gotten even more acute that way. She'd found herself mirroring shopkeepers during supply runs, joining in with the laughter of other rebels even when she hadn't heard the joke, returning Leigh's ill moods with her own undeserved pique. It was like...like the barriers between herself and other people were getting blurry, almost. Like if she didn't think about it, the borders that kept her in her body would fade out entirely.

It...wasn't unpleasant? But it was a little strange.

It did make it easy for her to relate to these people, at least. That was why she'd volunteered for seeds and meds as soon as word about Kammia made its way through the Eclipse network. Na'an slung the sack on her back up and over, slamming it into the ground with a satisfying thump.

"You know it's in bad taste to even bring up the question of payment, right?" she called gaily to the woman across the square. "Normal humanitarians just start handing out the goods in a crisis, without putting that worry in folks' heads. Ye gods."

She fished a packet out of the sack and knelt to offer it to the nearest villager, a young girl clinging to her mothers' skirts with massive eyes. "Hey, little miss," she said gently, and felt the moment the child's fear opened up to a flicker of...was that recognition? "I know what you're thinkin'. It's scary, yeah? But you and mamma are gonna be okay."

Pirates.

Like the gangsters she had fought on Lotho Minor, Pa’Desh, and Concord Dawn, Eleena felt no compunction towards killing them. They were scum, after all, opportunistic actors who sought to feast on the refuse of the galaxy’s wars. However, the group of pirates who had taken over Kammia, treating the world as their own personal fiefdom in the process, was quite wealthy.

They would not be easy to expel from the planet.

With intelligence suggesting that they would face more than foot mobiles and infantry, Eleena had been assigned to fly a FAE/V-03 “Yuxa” Attack Swoop Craft. The bike was much bigger and heavier than the Loralora she had taken during her previous sorties, but Eleena had nevertheless flown many hours behind the vanes of the Yuxa. She was quite used to the machine’s ponderous maneuverability, even finding it easier to handle than the Loralora.

And so, only a few minutes after launch, Mermaid squadron was on approach to the pirate base.

“Ssstrafe the tanksss and vehiclesss with torpedoesss and missilesss. They are priority targetsss.” Bruz hissed, his voice authoritative and bloodthirsty as he led the formation of swoops towards the base.

“Ssspare no one and nothing.”

While they “fell” down, transformed her bones and body with shape-shifting so as not to cause any injury when they crashed. Felt the jerk caused by the seat belt, causing even the air to be pushed out of her lungs for a few moments. Her datapad fell to the ground, the display shattered, and the device turned off. Looked at the man and nodded. Another game, none of which was true, but she decided to go into the game; she was able to surprise others well.

Rather, she wondered who might have hired the man, for one must have looked terribly amateur so far. Could smell the fuel, too, but hadn't moved yet, just unfastened her belt. Through the Force, followed what the other was doing. But she really had ideas, to make things happen. Something that was quite obvious it wasn’t. Got up from her seat and stretched one. Could feel exactly - despite the fact that the man was anzati - when he began to move away from the dropship and where he was.

Reached into the Force and became invisible, she could do it now, the traitor had already moved away from the dropship anyway. At the moment of the explosion, hiding her presence in the Force, it could have had the effect of dying. It happened the moment the flames and explosion hit the whole ship. And the next second, she teleported, a few steps next to Eskk. Since she was not visible or felt in any form, the man could not notice her either.

The dropship had been completely on fire by now, and if his opponent was watching her through the Force, he might have thought the woman had died in the blast. Ingrid already knew what she was going to do, she would have stabbed or hit the other one now, but she hadn't done either yet. Just waited, wondering what the ex-major was going to do. Secretly hoped the man would call his clients and then the woman could find out who he was working for. Even before she killed him…

What a dump. Kammia had rich soil, but no notable things worth her time, except of course for what she came here for; test subjects. The planet was once conquered by the mighty Imperium and Sanguine was after their remnants, a colony kept on the far side of the planet that still held quite the population of those delightful lizards, those living killing machines. Oh, the wonders she would do with her own batch of Ssi-Ruu, transformed and brainwashed to serve the mighty of the Eternal Empire, living monsters to destroy and kill under their command. If she could invade them, and capture them. Because that was the problem of killing machines, they always rejoiced themselves bitting faces off their skulls and were quite the horrendous creatures to be captured by their nets.

“Doctor Nocturnal, my troops await your command.”, the commander spoke behind her back, and despite not seeing his face the female could tell the spite his voice carried. It probably wasn’t much to his liking having to receive orders from a scholar with no official title to bear, and even though the feeling was mutual, Sanguine couldn’t help but want to rip his head off his body. She was working on that, but killing Barnabas was proving to be harder than she expected, and falling on the Empress’s good graces wasn’t something that easily done.

“Move with the wind, wolf-boy, find them, secure the perimeter, howl your chants, shove guns up your arses, or whatever you boys enjoy doing when alone in those barracks. I don’t care, as long as you bring them alive, understand?”, the male saluted her harshly and left to do her bidding. When he left, Sanguine treated herself with dressing elegantly for the occasion, strapping all the gear she enjoyed using on the magnetic holsters of her belt and turned her back to follow them on foot.

The ground attack craft swung wide, ground letting go of anything loose as Sasmay pulled back on the stick, leaning into both pedals before shooting into the lower atmosphere for a birds eye view of the whole scene below. A warning blip appeared for a moment, data pouring into her hud as she threw the stick right and tried to avoid the incoming missile. A split second thought was spared as she kicked the right pedal, letting off the left as the tail spun counterclockwise mid dive while slapping the weapons switch.

The missile whistled over the tail fins, uncomfortably close as the back of her neck prickled in danger. The lock warning sounded again as she switched her hud to thermal and scanned briefly through the optical panels. The flechette cannon cycled out, replaced with the flak gun as another missile pinged in her visor.

Bright white surrounded a rapidly cooling object as the crosshairs slowly travelled across her hud.

Trajectories were mapped in the nano-seconds that passed, droid brains assisting as the flak gun swiveled and fired with the incoming projectile halfway to the Termite. Sasmay snarled in her helmet as the craft angled down, pedals equaling out as she found the missile nest. The flak gun began cycling rounds into the space. Another missile being destroyed before it had a chance to fully ignite beyond the required distance.

The splash back sent a few scattering below as the building came into view. A bright sight as fluorescent white bodies scrambled against the dark backdrop of the ground. It took moments to decided, but the charric cannon was cycled in place of the flak gun.

The nose swiveled as she lined up on the scattering bodies and fired, clearing out another hidden nest of pirates. The Termite ducked low, scattering more debris as the woman scanned once more with thermal. Content that the group had been cleared, she switched to standard sight and searched for the building they had likely been running to. She hung in the air for a brief time, brow scrunching as she tried to spot it.

She spotted a low shack in the distance. A decent hustle to be sure, but possibly the cause.

Frowning, she crossed the distance towards the ramshackle looking thing. The jets of her craft pulling back a few panels as a vehicle inside turned it's turret to face her. Her whole body sung with electricity as time seemed to slow. The cannon erupted after it paused, her eyes locked onto the barrels end before it blew off more panels while she kicked the left pedal, pulling the stick back and then left.

A mistake as the right wing was clipped by the round.

Warnings sounded as she pulled the stick hard left, engines compensating as best they could as the turret inside tried to correct it's aim. Two switches down, she toggled another as ports opened when the cannon paused and quickly dropped before lurching forward. A torpedo sang from the tube as the front of the building was pushed out.

The armored vehicle ejected itself as the torpedo collided with the exterior wall and collapsed the structure. Sasmay worked the pedals, back and forth before leaning on the right and evening out as the armored transport vehicle attempted to escape. She grit her teeth, flipping the molecular shields off and the deflector shield's on before following behind the thing leaving a trail of smoke behind her to rise up into the sky.

This was going to be fun after all.

Eskk had been following the empresses movements with his sensory gland. He felt her moving around the dropship then as it exploded she was suddenly gone. She couldve died in the blast but Eskk still had an uneasy feeling. It had been too easy and Eskk didnt like it.

He walked back around the now burning ship, Eskk needed to confirm the Empress was dead. Based on where she had been standing just before the explosion, Eskk felt it was likely her body wouldve been thrown out if she did die. Still he peered inside the flaming wreckage. There was no indication of a body inside.

Eskk turned around and began to look for the body. He searched for awhile, but there was no body to be found. Something wasnt right. Eskk stood up and turned around. At the same time he called one of his lightsabers to his hand.

"Come out, come out wherever you are Empress," Eskk said aloud. "I know youre out there somewhere. Are you afraid, is that why you hide?"

Objective: Try to not to laugh

So far, everything was going smoothly. The lines were orderly, the civilians were following instructions, and the only thing Taozi could notice amiss was the slight nervousness the locals had taking supplies from the Union, compared to the ease they took the aid from Clan Tal. Was it perhaps what Alli said about repayment? Taozi didn't have long to follow that train of thought however, as something, or rather someone caught her eye.

A short figure, wearing the helm of an Imperial.

But clearly not an Imperial, if Taozi's experiences with their soldiers is anything to go off of. The figure seemed to recognize her, if the nod given was anything to go by. After a moment's hesitation, Taozi slowly nodded back, and watched. She listened to the figure chastise Alli, and hid her smile behind a fist, trying desperately not to laugh. The figure was right about humanitarians.

The right thing for them to do was to show up, hand out supplies with a smile, and leave without asking for payment.

Things had been going well, she had not asked for repayment, she had just told people if they were thankful they could buy products from the ZU's corporate council. But they didn't have to, That was only if they wanted to. It seemed to escalate with someone calling out about bringing up the issue at all. Alli sighed and spoke again. "As I said, I ask nothing in return, just the smile on your faces and the knowledge that you will have full stomachs tonight, and the time to come, will satisfy me. I only gave a plug to the wonderful companies that made me being here with aid to give possible. You don't have to buy anything from them. It was merely that you give them consideration when making future purchases. Please fear not, this aid is freely given. "

This whole situation left a bad taste in her mouth. Sure this was good PR, but that was only a plus, She wanted to be more charitable in this life. This was a step in that direction. She had helped rescue the people of the Zweihander Union and now was helping people beset by pirates. She only hoped people would know that Baktoid Industrial Systems was here to help. However it appeared not all liked her corporate plug. Perhaps she should of just plastered logos everywhere and not mentioned it outside of that.

For now, Ingrid waited patiently for what Eskk would do. Was patient, infinitely patient. More than once in her work, had to wait motionless for hours, or just invisibly, for the one she was waiting for to arrive. Or the target person should take the appropriate step. The Red Witch was patient, silent and deadly. That is why she waited for the other to act. Could have easily arranged for her to kill him that way, but it was a personal matter.

Not so much as if this had happened if the man was targeting one of Ingrid's relatives or family members. Then the man would not have lived anymore. They were more important to the woman than herself. And nothing could have changed that fact. If she hadn’t been so depressed about Adrian’s death, might even have been amused that Anzati wouldn’t find her and try to call her. She had been standing next to him until now. Wondered when someone in the capital would notice that there was a problem and when the reinforcements would arrive.

Reinforcements… after that will certainly further strengthen her defence, which did not want at all. Felt the whole bodyguard topic was redundant; and at the time she did not even mention that the extra training of the shape-shifting bodyguards she had received from Adrian was coming to an end, and the Valkyries would already take care of her. It was up to him not to send them so they could stay. But now was the time to act.

Completely silent and imperceptibly, she stepped in front of Eskk, then with a determined gesture tried to kneel the man on his groin, while also trying to hit his nose with her elbow to break the man's nose. If all this had not been enough to send the other to the ground, Ingrid would even head down with full force. Was much stronger and faster than a human, so hopefully she'll be able to surprise the other one up close. If successful, if not, she will reappear.

"Do you really think you can assassinate the Eternal Empire's finest assassin?" asked in a cold and emotionless voice.

Eskk hadn't expected a close up attack. He felt the knee hit his groin. Typical feminine opening move, he thought to himself as he started to double over from the knee. Then, Eskk felt the elbow to his face. His head was turned slightly so it struck him on the jaw. He ducked as he started to spin with the impact of the elbow. He had been trained to react to this kind of force.

Due to his ducking maneuver, Eskk managed not to be bludgeoned by the empress's rather large and imposing forehead. As he ducked, he extended his leg, using the momentum of the blows to start to spin. The sweeping to trip the Empress up.

The sweeping leg kick is a decoy, intended to fail. As he continues to spin, Eskk will rise to a standing position and swing his lightsaber upwards diagonally.
While Eskk is doing this, he is calling on the force to make him faster.

The more time Ingrid spent learning military things, training and all that, during that time she would have been a master of martial arts at Echani. More than thirty years; she was barely a year old when began to learn this when she was first given a weapon in her hand. Recognized exactly what the purpose of the spinning kick was. Would have had the strength to stop it, but rather moved backwards and dodged the leg. Let the anzati stand up and regain his balance.

It all came out great for her, because with that she was able to measure what the other was capable of. After what happened in Zakuul, read his file because they wanted to send the man to a court-martial; Ingrid knew he is a Force User, the lightsaber was not yet conclusive evidence, anyone could learn to use it. The woman also had two hidden lightsabers, but had not yet reached for them. It wasn't needed yet. With a minimal concentration, enlarged her nails, which thus became claws, as strong as the claws of a felacatian.

Why a weapon for her if she's the weapon herself? Her opponent’s weapon is favourable to the woman, if she gets into melee, the man can’t do much. As he swung toward the lightsaber, Ingrid moved. Didn't use Force, but was still damn fast, at least as much as others with the help of Force. Had a speed well above average even before the dormant Force Sensitivity awoke, and as a Shadow-born, that speed only improved further.

Choose the arc and direction of the sword to bend down and dodge it, and then get back all the way close to the anzati. Because of her studies and training, knew exactly where the nerve endings were in the arms, which if someone hit, the arm would numb. So tried to do this by hitting a point close to the man's elbow or up in the arm. With her other hand, Ingrid tried to tear the man's stomach with her claws.
