=Official Name=
Vidalu Na’an (Goes by Na’an)

=Alias=
Patient was known as “Wanderer” in earlier years, although the alias seems to have gone out of use.

=Age=
Appoximately 30. Due to insufficient records at the time of patient’s induction into the Jedi Order, her exact age is not known.

=Sex=
Female

=Sexual Orientation=
Unclassified. Although patient’s only known past relationship was with a male Human, she has displayed little preference for any given gender at present.

=Species=
Human

=Home Planet=
Unknown

=Basic Physical Characteristics=
Height: 5’3”
Hair: Brunette
Eyes: Grey. One has been removed and replaced with a medical implant.
Physique: Lean and compact. Patient is remarkably healthy despite her history.
Mental State: Patient is currently undergoing treatment for trauma-induced schizophrenic hallucinations (See Report: Libeta Neural Implant, History.) Patient is currently stable and able to function normally, but prolonged interruption of treatment may result in a relapse.

Notable Traits:
  • Shows signs of past malnutrition during adolescent years resulting in limited growth.
  • Notably sharp and narrow facial features (chin, nose, etc)
  • Expressive and wide-set eyes, light grey in color. Patient seems fond of them as her ‘only redeeming feature’, and has expressed regret that one of her original eyes had to be removed. (Note: Patient moods can easily be read as a result of this feature, allowing for easy observation during reticent periods.)
  • Tends to keep hair pulled sharply back from her face.

Notable Scars:
  • Extensive scarring of the left eye socket, up to and including the replacement of the eyeball with a neural implant (See Equipment:Other)
  • Extensive burn damage to the left outer ear--has since been replaced with an artificial analogue. No damage to hearing noted.
  • Circular scars on the abdomen and lower back consistent with lightsaber impalement
  • Faded scar on left hip consistent with blaster burns
  • Faded scar on right foot consistent with lightsaber damage
  • Scarring on right shoulder and collarbone consistent with heavy lightsaber damage
  • Numerous minor work-related scars on both hands. Most notable of these is a thick scar on the pad of the right thumb, with ridging indicative of repeated openings.
  • A raised mark on the back of the neck indicative of an injection site. Scanning reveals the presence of a miniaturized neuroelectrical disruptor commonly used among the Hutt slave cartels. Wear on the device suggests that it has been deactivated for many years, and is no longer functional.

=Equipment: Ship=
Patient has been provided with use of a HWK-1000 light freighter by her contacts in the Dantooine farming circuits.

=Equipment: Weapons=
Patient has a custom-crafted shoto lightsaber that is kept close to her person at all times. This shoto is made with a naturally red Dantari crystal, giving the blade an uncharacteristic deep red color. Patient has been known to store excess energy in this crystal for emergency use.
Otherwise, patient seems to be opportunistic in her weapon choices, although she has shown a preference for simple blaster pistols and shotguns.

=Equipment: Clothing=
Patient has shown a preference for function over fashion, opting for a basic uniform of loose pants, a close-fitted sleeveless shirt, and heavy boots. Patient will also tend to select for a robe over coats or other outerwear, although this preference is quickly discarded when not convenient.

=Equipment: Other=
Patient has been equipped with the Libeta Neural implant. The implant is designed to treat latent trauma-based schizophrenia, but also includes several functions that, in times of crisis, can drastically increase patient’s physical and Force-based capabilities. A full set of schematics for this implant can be found in this report.

---=--}]|-|[{--=---

==Force Sensitivity=
Patient has been classified as having only moderate sensitivity to the Force, bolstered by extensive physical training and medical augmentation. These alterations of typical Jedi norms, as well as a marked preference for Force powers linked to the physical body over those of the mind, have left her functionally more similar to the former Matukai order than a normal Jedi.

Lightsaber Proficiencies:
Form 1 (Shii-Cho): Mastered
Form 2 (Makashi): Proficient
Form 3: (Soresu): Proficient
Form 4 (Ataru): Mastered (Preferred form)
Form 5 (Shien/Djem So):proficient
Form 6 (Niman): Proficient
Form 7 (Juyo/Vaapad): Not Practiced

Force Powers:
Only powers that have displayed some level of Mastery are listed:
  • Telekinesis
  • Telepathy
  • Force Body
  • Force Jump
  • Force Push/Throw
  • Force Heal
  • Force Bellow
  • Force Perception
  • Force Speed
  • Breath Control
  • Center of Being
  • Battle Precognition
(Note: While she can be taught, and has stated some minor ability to use other base Jedi techniques, patient seems incapable of truly mastering abilities that cannot be somehow linked to the functioning or movement of her physical body, such as psychometry. This also extends to meditation, which seems to require pairing with heavy aerobic activity in order to be reliably effective.)

=Proficiencies=[/SIZE]
  • Combat Proficiency: The patient has compensated for their small size and mediocre Force talent by becoming one of the better lightsaber combatants on record. Displays remarkable speed and reflexes when in hand-to-hand combat as well as highly accurate martial instincts, which have allowed her to stand her ground against, and even defeat, opponents considerably stronger than herself.
  • Physical Prowess: The patient has also focused on intense physical training from a young age, resulting in a body that is surprisingly strong and flexible for its size. Patient has also shown notable levels of endurance and tolerance to pain, and a sense of personal rhythm that suggests dancer’s training at some point in her history.
  • Dark Side Resistance: The patient has shown a strong resistance to Dark Side influence, even from intimate relations. If conversion is impossible, patient is more likely to engage Darkside practitioners in combat than to compromise the moral code instilled by her Jedi upbringing.
  • Good with Kids: The Patient seems to carry an unusual level of appeal for children despite her appearance. This has yet to be explained.
  • Libeta: The Patient’s neural implant provides a number of functions that provide a significant advantage in multiple combat situations. A full listing of these functions is provided in the schematics in this report.

=Difficulties=
  • Naturally Subservient: The Patient’s psychology displays a natural tendency to defer to those she recognizes in positions of authority rather than assume leadership herself. In absence of a chosen authority, patient confers heavily with the LE-03 AI before making any major decisions. How this coincides with her recent defection from the Jedi Order is under debate.
  • Discomfort with Luxury: Patient seems uncomfortable with situations involving high levels of wealth, luxury, or aesthetic beauty, and will ‘lock up’ when forcibly exposed to such situations without an alternate focus. This discomfort seems linked to an adolescent lack of such luxury paired with past trauma linked to later exposure (See Records: The Family)
  • Limited Strategic Thinking: Patient’s combat prowess is visible strictly in moment-to-moment, hand-to-hand contexts. Patient has shown little capacity for long-term planning or strategy, and defers to the LE-03 AI in situations where high intelligence is required.
  • Easily Manipulated: Patient has an unpredictable temper and is occasionally prone to emotional extremes, particularly when those listed in (=Companion=) are threatened. Combined with her limited capacity for strategic thinking, can result in the patient being easily manipulated by someone more intelligent than herself.
  • Libeta Side Effects: The side effects of the Libeta neural implant's higher functions, as listed in this report, may be debilitating or result in severe physical damage. The functions that cause these side effects must be treated with extreme caution as a result. In addition, damage or deactivation of the implant will result in a resurgence of the patient's mental condition.

=Faction=
None. Patient has recently been marked as having defected from the Jedi Order.

=Rank=
Unclassified

=Companion=
Patient seems to have only two consistent allies. One of these, a droid classified as Life Emulator model LE-03 (“Leigh”), seems to be a constant companion and source of mutual emotional support or protection. Threatening or damaging this droid in any capacity is guaranteed to result in extreme anger and an immediate violent response.
The droid also seems to be intimately linked to the functioning of the Libeta neural implant.

Patient has also spoken fondly and often of one Adelle Bastiel, also known as “Doc”, who seems to have followed her upon her defection from the Jedi Order. Their relationship seems to have been mostly medical in nature until only recently.

=History=
Little is known about Patient’s early history due to insufficient record-keeping at the time of her induction. The following notes are relevant as per her psychological profile, and have been fact-checked when possible:
  • Inducted into the Jedi Academy in Coruscant at the approximate age of three. Was instructed heavily by Knight Rutil Iorek, with a focus on lightsaber combat due to her naturally short stature.
  • Chosen as Padawan by Knight Tyrono Parr at the approximate age of nine.
  • Knight Tyrono Parr was killed in action while attempting to mediate a Mandalorian territory dispute three years later. Patient, then about fourteen, was also marked as killed in action at the time.
  • Several anecdotal records indicate approximately 3-4 years spent in indentured servitude(?) to one of the major Hutt clans on Nal Hutta. Official Hutt records do not confirm this, as is expected on worlds where slavery has not yet been eradicated. However, the injection of a potentially-fatal neuroelectrical disruptor is consistent with slave treatment within Hutt circles, and should be considered sufficient evidence. This is possibly where the patient received additional training as a dancer.
  • Additional shipping records on several worlds also suggest a period of about a year as a crewmember of the smuggling vessel Pygmalion (Now out of commision) under the tutelage of Captain Berlin Teral. Questioning of former crewmen indicates that this period was likely spent earning passage back to the Core worlds.
  • Records upon return to the Core are muddy, but indicate the creation of a group colloquially known as ‘the Family’ rather than a full re-joining of the Jedi Order. Patient will not speak willingly of the Family, but would react violently hearing the name Aherk Formidonis (A former member and Patient’s only known lover) indicating intense and prolonged trauma linked to the group. Other reactions, in contradiction, indicate a deep past fondness and affection for members of the group during this period. Our only records indicate that the Family disbanded after Patient killed Aherk Formidonis somewhere on Nal Hutta.
  • Records cease entirely for several years after the Family’s dissolution, suggesting a self-imposed exile.
  • Resurfacing seems tied directly to the resurgence of one of Aherk’s creations (See Records: KR-04 Hunter Droid) being responsible for the destruction of the Pygmalion, said creation having been programmed to hunt the patient and any of her allies. Confronting this creation led to the destruction and removal of Patient’s left eye, and further psychological trauma resulting in the emergence of schizophrenic hallucinations.
  • Patient forms partnership with the LE-03 unit at this time. The nature of this partnership is complicated, but seems to be intimately tied to both their mutual Family history, and the creation of the Libeta Neural Implant.
  • Patient unofficially re-instated into the Order as part of the Service Corps (upon patient request), and sent to Dantooine to serve as the protector of several farming compounds in the grain sector.
  • Three years after re-instatement, Patient abruptly announced her official defection from the Jedi Order. Reasons are not given, but seem to be tied to the lack of response to a radical sect found hiding on Yavin, formerly led by her teacher Rutil Iorek, as well as his death at her hands. Yavin records also indicate the presence of both Aherk and the KR-04 operating system at the Yavin site, although this is unlikely to be confirmed. It is relevant to note, however, that her former violent reactions to either name have been somewhat muted since.
