OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Fleet Name: Striking Serpent Battlegroup, or BG01-FT01 (battlegroup 1 of fleet 1)
  • Classification: Naval Strike Force
  • Affiliation: Elysium Empire Navy
  • Fleet Symbol: The Purple Lion of the Elysium Empire, surrounded by a snake.
  • Description: The Striking Serpent Battlegroup is the first experimental Naval Squadron to implement the Elysium Battleline Synergy Project configuration. It is very professional and many of the personnel assigned to it are experienced veterans from previous engagements of the Elysium Empire Navy.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Formerly, the nomadic Elysium Empire civilian fleet. Now Damascus Station.
  • Ports of Call: formerly near Dagobah and Sluis Van. Now Damascus Station in the Praeda System.
  • Goals: Represent the military interests of the Elysium Empire and defend the subjects of our exalted King, Heath Valhoun.
  • Reputation: Most ships are fresh out of the shipyards of Mandal-Elysium Arms (formerly MandalArms) and Veinstein Labs, however, some have previous combat experience and have been reassigned to this new unit. While Admiral Keatoch and his Battlegroup are the primary ambassadors of the Elysium Empire to the Mandalorians, many of the ships in this Battlegroup are somewhat known to the Mandalorians as friends and allies from small engagements. Some have experienced combat with pirates and enjoyed training exercises with friendly Mandalorian allies. Notable ships are as follows:
    • HMS Basilisk - Participated in an escort mission to transport a massive shipment of Beskar for Loreena Arenais-Valhoun and the MandalArms corporation. This ship and its captain are notable for allowing Loreena to literally slingshot a captured enemy fighter into the hangar bay causing minimal damage. Loreena Arenais-Valhoun was charged for the damages.
    • HMS Makashi - The first ship in the Makashi class light cruiser line ever made. Participated in the same escort mission as HMS Basilisk to transport Beskar.
    • HMS Shii-Cho (no longer in this fleet now) Second Ship completed in the Makashi class light cruiser line. Participated in the Beskar escort mission, as well as a training exercise between the Elysium Empire and the Children of the Protectors. Was present at the wedding of Loreena Arenais-Valhoun and Rex Valhoun where it launched an exorbitant amount of fireworks. She was also the assigned protecting cruiser for the Sluis Van Summit between the Sluissi and the corporate members of the Elysium Empire. She is was once assigned as the flagship of the Striking Serpent Battlegroup.
    • Line-Captain Thaliias’s original sub-division - First ships to be fully updated for the Battlegroup using the new protocols. Known for hunting pirates that prey on the Elysium Nomadic Civilian Fleet.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The first of many battlegroups formed and shaped by the goals of the Elysium Empire Battle-Line Synergy Project. This battle group is made to test out the technologies and tactics of the Elysium Empire before refining them for the rest of the navy. Some of the ships are already veterans, and some are new.

Since it’s commission, the Striking Serpent Battlegroup had been tasked with hunting pirates in the areas surrounding Dagobah and Sluis Van. When this assignment was finished, it returned to the Damascus Station in the Praeda system where it bases all of its operations from moving forward.

In the mission to liberate the Cademinu system, the following ships were present. Most ships were either severely damaged, or totally destroyed, but the campaign was a success. All ships listed here were repaired or remade afterwards but are considered veterans now from the surviving crews involved.

Makashi Class Light Cruiser:

  • HMS Shii-Cho (damaged)

Val Khaar Corvettes:
  • HMS Black Mamba (damaged)
  • HMS Python (damaged)
  • HMS Constrictor (damaged)
  • HMS Cobra (undamaged)
  • HMS Rattler (undamaged)
  • HMS Asp (destroyed)
KHI-CC Corvettes
  • HMS Viper (undamaged)
  • HMS Garter (undamaged)
  • HMS Adder (undamaged)

The changes all look good to me, but I do have one question. For your image credit, you list Heath Valhoun. Did he produce this logo entirely from scratch, drawing it by hand or in a computer program? If not (and I'm guessing not, because I see the WoW Alliance emblem in there, and the two parts of the image are of different image style and quality), we need links to the source images used in the symbol.

Please check with Heath Valhoun about that. Once we have sources, or if he confirms that he hand-drew it, I'll stamp this approved.

Yes, sorry. I provided a list at the bottom of the submission but I forgot to post one in the conversation lol.

Darth Machinus Darth Machinus Damn Etsy links. Those images are gone. Should’ve know better in the first place lol.

Any suggestions?

Edit: I found some sites with the exact same images but they are not the same source as I used before because those are gone. I’m sure Heath would edit those images the same way and get the same result so I hope that’s good enough. Does that work?
