STRENGTHS
  • Bulwark -
    • Built as a means to escort larger vessels, picket smaller ships from larger ones, and otherwise making 'areas of denial' for movement - the "Legion" serves its purpose with extreme prejudice. Able to sustain heavy fire from much larger vessels for sustained periods of time while also creating large 'no fly' zones within a battlefield make the frigate a powerful contributor to any tactical position within space. All-purpose in taking on ships of its own size and smaller, it has few general weaknesses.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Teeth -
    • Unlike many other frigates, who hope to swarm larger ships, the 'Legion' is not built with anything to take on larger ships. Often, even ships on its own level are better armed than it - and could easily take it out given enough time. Its one defense is, again, its extremely powerful armor and defensive measures - specifically the highly optimized jaeger armor layers combined with its high-efficiency feedback shielding.
DESCRIPTION

Built and designed in 864ABY by Jaeger Solutions, the SF-13 "Legion" Class Star Frigate was commissioned by the Dark Council to better deal with the lack of both monetary, and manufacturing capabilities of the Sith Eternal. Following the destruction of the SESD "Nuemidon" during a flashpoint along the Sith Empire border, comittmenting to protecting the larger vessels of the fleet with smaller cheaper variants became paramount - while also providing a stalwart platform capable of sustaining its own damage in specific situations.​

Enter the "Legion" - filling its designated roll with extreme prejudice. Armed with Jaeger's highest grade of armor, Impervium reinforcement, and a variety of weapons to shoot down far faster fighters and bombers - the Legion is a powerful addition to any fleet. Capable of not only taking massive punishment from everything short of a Super Star Destroyer, it is built with a variety of implementations that help it shrug off turbolasers, hypervelocity cannons, and even dreaded ion cannons where other ships may not be able to. Further, it is armed with a wide variety of point defense and anti-starfighter weapons capable of taking down munitions like missiles and even oppositional starfighter wings - leave alone its own compliment of starfighters, allowing it to both project air superiority in itself, and serve a mobile carrier when required.​

The greatest weakness of the design, however, is that while it is purpose built to destroy far smaller, faster ships - it can not sustain itself in fights against ships of its class, and often even Corvettes. Its armor may be capable of protecting its crew, but it is only a matter of time before critical hits are done to the engines, reactors, or guns - effectively making it dead in the water. Should it be faced in capital to capital combat, it will most certainly require some form of relief - likely from the ship its escorting at the given time.​

Overall, this makes the Legion a powerful addition to the forces of the Sith Eternal - helping to maintain their presence in systems that are otherwise too harsh to truly be safe for their larger vessels. With a massive initial order from the Sith Eternal, Jaeger Solutions has moved quickly to provide them with their request - delivering them discreetly through Otherspace and the like, to ensure nobody becomes aware of the growing military power of the Korriban based Empire.​

Hello again, same procedure as last time.
  • Please include some sort of permission for the use of the DC-2A - the link you usually use will suffice.
  • Please fix the link for the Solid Ration/Fuel Converter and please update your templates. Three times now? Four?
  • Please remove the Vulcan Nano-Constructors - no Limited components allowed on a Minor vessel.
  • The template information for the Description is still hanging out at the bottom, I assume you'd want to remove it.
A quick Ctrl+F reveals that the first two also apply to the Lussk, I would suggest fixing them there and elsewhere to smoothen the review process.
