- Destroyer: The Oblivion is a monster when it comes to destroying other ships as well as orbital attacks with its devastating armaments. A heavy hitter that is a boon for any fleet
- Fortress: The destroyer boasts impressive defences and a decent support craft compliment which would make it quite difficult to get to the Oblivion while it sends its enemies to oblivion.
- Zipping: The Oblivion may be slow in an engagement, but it boasts a proper hyperdrive which could still take it where it needs to go quickly.

- Fat and slow: The destroyer sacrifices any semblance of maneuverability and speed in order to be the destroyer its supposed to be. You will not be going fast in any direction during a firefight, which gives small and fast craft a bit of an advantage to overwhelm it, despite its defences.
- Power consuming: Even though the Oblivion has devastating guns, they are energy consuming. If both Particle Cannons are fired, they and the ship would need a breather in order for defences to hold.
- We few: Due to the price of manufacturing such a beast, there aren't many of the Oblivion being produced. It is very much felt financially if one is lost and it won't easily be replaced, if at all.

The Oblivion-Class Star Destroyer is the first proper monster to be produced from the Jaemus Shipyards and Sterdo Industries to bulk up the Renoux House Fleet.
The destroyer boasts a devastating armament which makes it an obliterator in the field. It also struts impressive defences despite it being a big and slow ship. The Oblivion is truly a boon to the fleet it would be joining.
