  • Smartgunner chip for remote usage and compatibility with various targeting systems.
  • Available as fixed weapons or versatile turrets
  • Backblast mitigation and redirection channel.

STRENGTHS
  • Contained: Every launcher is one complete unit, housing all components with optimized design for usage in turrets or vehicles.
  • Scale: Each model is optimized for a different role, each capable of firing more impressive ammunition than the last.
  • Optimized: The launchers are specifically made to be compatible with almost any targeting system and mechanisms.
  • Power: While the ammunition plays a part, the mass driver technology aiding in the launching process is capable of firing unguided projectiles at a very powerful velocity.

WEAKNESSES
  • Size: While they all differ in size, the self contained system bloats the overall size of each launcher.
  • Power: Each gun uses up ludicrous amounts of power to operate, increasing with each unit linked up to another in a turret configuration.
  • Recoil: While a backblast and gyroscopic system is integrated, the recoil is still very prominent and scales with each model.
  • Speed: Part of the optimizing of roles, the bigger cannons are slow to operate compared to the smaller model.

DESCRIPTION
A fever dream of engineering, the Model 60-series are a family of general purpose launchers capable of launching virtually any type of ammunition capable of fitting into the launch tube.

The smallest of the bunch, the Model 62, was primarily designed to be used in small vehicles, starfighters, and as potential point defense installments. As a middle child, the Model 64 is a happy medium between the light launcher and the enormous capital killer. Finally, the Model 66 is designed to be used as orbital defense platforms and capital ship weapons, designed to fire enormous rockets, missiles and torpedoes that could level entire blocks or tear apart capital ships.

A peculiar aspect of the launchers, however, is the usage of mass driver technology to aid in its operation. As an accidental benefit, the launchers could be easily configured to fire unguided ordinance and work as a typical mass driver cannon, with surprising accuracy.
