STRENGTHS
  • Contained: Each cannon is a self contained unit, with its own systems and loading mechanisms, making it very easy to install a number of them into a turret or in a vehicle.
  • Uniform: Utilizing interchangeable parts and very similar design, the weapons are easy to mix and match in almost any vehicle it can fit in.
  • Compatible: Each gun is very easy to link up and connect with virtually any targeting and scanning system, whether it be manual or automatic. It can also be easily deployed as a gun emplacement.
  • Cheap: With simple materials, basic programming and universal systems, each cannon is very easy to produce and to maintain.

WEAKNESSES
  • Size: With the physical size not differing much, the weapons might not be able to fit some vehicles.
  • Priorities: Each model fills a different role, thus the user needs to think about what they want to do with the guns.
  • Contained: Due to each cannon being one contained unit, fitting them together might cause some turrets to be bigger than intended.
  • Heating: Due to the high rate of fire, the cannons might overheat if fired for long durations.

DESCRIPTION
A series of cannons built around the same chassis, the Model 40-series of cannons are meant to give buyers an easy means to install any type of cannon into a vehicle or position, as well as combine several of them into a turret.

Naturally such a design has its drawbacks, with the biggest one being the size of the gun. If the vehicle or emplacement in question can’t fit the biggest model, fitting any of the smaller models might be very problematic. On the plus side, upgrading and maintenance is made much easier due to the parts interchangeability of each model of cannon.
