Faction Five Minutes to Midnight (The Family)

KNOCK KNOCK

With more time to wait around, Dominik thought about his approach. He had offered a loud entrance because of a plan in mind, but he could also go in quiet. But he scrapped that idea. A swarm of droids was coming in, things were going to get loud and he was fine being loud first to cause more panic and confusion.

This side door was metal, maybe reinforced, but it seemed like a classic metal door for a warehouse, not meant to stand up to a heavy assault. Time to test that theory out.

Dominik opened his coat, exposing his chest to the freezing outside air but also to retrieve his weapons. In relative silence aside from a couple of clicks, Dominik fashioned a grenade launcher out of the Interchangeable Weapon System. He put in four rounds total, held the weapon in his right arm, and put his knife's blade into his robotic left hand. All done with the ease and efficiency of changing a magazine in any other gun. Then he waited.

There was the signal.

Turning the corner, Dominik raised and threw the knife at the smoking guard. The blade dug into his brain through the eye and he dropped instantly. As soon as the door was clear, and as the two guards were registered what just happened to their buddy, Dominik fired a single round at the door.

KRAAAANG

The metal resounded as the grenade embedded itself in the door. The two guards paid it no mind, turning to shoot down the alleyway. Dominik turned back around the corner, weapon at the ready. Colored blaster bolts shot down the alleyway past Dominik.

The idiots never moved away from the door.

The grenade exploded, sending bits of metal, fire, and smoke everywhere. The door flew off it's hinges inwards, and the blaster fire stopped. Dominik stepped out from around the corner, his holdout blaster flicking from his sleeve. The guards were on the ground, probably dead already, but Dominik put one shot in each of them as he stepped past, pulling the knife free from the smoker.

He heard shouts from within the building. Dominik aimed to his left, front, then right and fired the next three rounds of his grenade launcher. These rounds however were smoke, not explosive.

More blaster fire came his way but Dominik stood behind a steel pillar as the smoke began filling the air, cutting line of sight from him. As Dominik waited for the smoke to spread he changed out the parts to bring the grenade launcher back to a normal blaster rifle.

He activated his robotic eye with a thought and began seeing in thermal. The Zero Gang could see nothing through the smoke, but Dominik could see them just fine. With single or double shots, Dominik began taking out the Zero Gang.

There was a chuckle from her lips as she looked over to Niki Priddy Niki Priddy pride and tilted her head before she turned fully, ince it was just her, Marcella Fiora Marcella Fiora , and herself stardust reached up to disengage the front shield of her armor as her green face came into sight. The cold wind didnt seem to affect her as her breath came out in a heavy steam

I shall make this quick for the drums of battle call to me, I am stardust solus skirae, made of the family alongside marcy here. I am here at the request to see how some of the new blood works...see who's worthy to have the honor of being part of the family

Stardust moved closer to look upon niki

I know not the entire history you may have with this...gang here...but I wouldn't worry about them at all. They pass slaves through here and happen to have penchant for making slavers into ASH

With a wicked grin stardust turned as her face shield came up and went back to opaque, taking a few steps away she paused

I look forward to seeing what HELL you unleash upon the this zero man

With that stardust took a leap onto a building and bocuned off to go and observe for the moment and maybe take opportunity to strike

Once the shot was fire was all he needed within moments he struck impaling the first patrol officers neck with his blade whilst letting his amphistaff constrict and crush ...literally the neck of the other before returning too him , stealth was no longer required there for with that said he wasted no time taking some of his blast bugs and throwing them aiming for the doors of the war house on his side and the windows to open them up so he can dart on in.

He kept to the shadows either way just because they know someones around doesn't mean they need to know their exact location as he climbed to the walls chameleoning with the surfaces as he moved in looking to kill any gang members that he comes across.

Welp seems like the party has started so she might as well join on in, she immediately grabbed the patrol by the necks and tore them open letting them fall on the ground before she started darted towards the warehouse to make her way inside, She leaped onto the wall latching into the wall with her gauntlets before climbing up to a window and make her way inside that way, her blades at the ready to slice and dice anyone that is apart of this gang.

She kept on the move while fully utilizing her stygium cloak on her armor to keep hidden only striking when she sees more gang members after all its much more fun taking them by surprise then have them expect and know where she is it ruins the fun that way, She kept in contact with her family members so they know where she is as well as keep a number count of how many gang members are dead until she makes her way to Zero ..who she was told to keep alive but nothing said anything about unmaimed..

The claustrophobic confines of District 9's Maintenance Tunnels closed in like a tomb; dulling the senses, robbing a being of its grip on time, and sending creeping tendrils of doubt & paranoia clawing like ravenous serpents through the mind. A rhythm of water droplets echoed down the corridors, punctuated by the sudden screeching of fans reanimating, or the musical whoosh of water (or some other mysterious liquid) rushing past at speed. More than once, Ivory & her escort jumped at a sudden sound which had taken them by surprise.

The Donna wasn't claustrophobic, but she was regretting taking on this responsibility.

Her escort, a human male & one of The Family's soldiers, held a white-knuckled grip on his Cantonica Keyboard. Wide-eyed, he appeared to dislike their surroundings immensely. Ivory took the lead, instructing him to watch their rear, while she took the opportunity to stretch out her senses into the labyrinthine corridors... seeking out some sensation of habitation; some sign of life; some hint of a direction. As they traveled, following the map which flickered silently on her wrist, within minutes she began to feel something.

Down a winding metal staircase, where Ivory instructed her soldier to step closest to the wall to avoid making noise. Around a corner from the landing, moving from the space lit by a single flickering lightbulb into a well of darkness beyond. Down a corridor with alternating hallways on either side, which the pair could not safely pass without checking each hallway for signs of passage or habitation.

Finally, she could sense a heartbeat... a whisper of thought, traveling through the ether.

Four men. A hundred meters away, huddled in an open space which felt like a void of air. She could sense a dark echo of anger, a feeling of paranoia & fear, and something else... A grim satisfaction. A dark desire for suffering. It was a feeling she was all-too familiar with, once she identified it.

Without a word, Ivory signaled to her soldier in their secret sign-language: <<Be ready for violence.>>

Then, she stepped deeper into the darkness, her own blaster probing the air ahead of her like the tongue of a serpent.

The snow had made it harder to get around and Diocletian did decide to use the icy street to slide towards the noise of a fight that had been going on without him. The Ubese was offended, no one fights anything without him there to fight as well.

Diocletian never if rarely neglects to indulge in impulses, he would be boring and would have been a farmer or a - well he hated to think of how boring his life would have been. Life is pretty boring if you don't try something new or help out your Family, even if they are not of your kind.

He had to relearn the fact that they were not all bad and that they were not just useful to his end, but genuine Family. This is why he wanted to stay with them and not join The BHG. That's way too orthodox for his tastes.

He has no Force ability whatsoever, so he can't join the Maw. He has some very negative feelings towards both Jedi and Sith, generational trauma from when UbaIV was nearly destroyed and the population reduced to 1 quarter of its original size. The Old Republic hit it so well that the sheer scale of it all is recently coming to light

Out of sheer spite, the Ubese people began to go forth and multiply and have large families and repopulate dying Clans, the Justeene Clan was one of those that were vanishing. They will recover and to Heck with everyone else. They succeeded, but the risk of cancer will always be there.

Equipping his Railgun he ducked into a safe spot, in range but secluded enough to remain hidden. He knew what his Family looked like so he aimed at the opposing side, aiming for the head, Railguns make more of a mess when aimed at someone else's head.

Stilza cocked her head and squinted at the general chaos in front of her and, using the others' profound abilities to climb walls, become invisible, throw grenades etc etc, strode with a strident non-challance through the smoke and noise and into the building.

As she'd expected she didn't meet with much resistance from... Well... Anyone really. Snitch, who'd found his way back to her from messing with Jai'galaar Gred Jai'galaar Gred , had curled back around her shoulders. She crept to the side and slid into a corridor away from the overall din where she could focus slightly better. Snitch chittered and settled against the crook of her neck.

"That was almost too easy." Viz said from the aether.

"And too loud" Naobi muttered

"Well, with all them causing such a racket... But I wouldn't count your mynocks quite yet, Chickie" Stilza muttered.

"I feel sort of guilty" Moragan said wanly. "We were called in by Marcella Fiora Marcella Fiora to help with the mission and here we are wandering off to steal Spice."

"Well...." Stilza scratched her chin. "Wouldn't Ivory Stroud Ivory Stroud and Marcy be... Congratulatory of our industrious independence? It's really all how you look at it, isn't it. And besides... We can't continue to rely only on the Family for resources, we have a business to run and a life to support."

"Enough talk ladies... It's a beeline to the spice refinement area and we need to keep a sharp eye. CAB doesn't have a schematic of this place and I'm only good for recon in hallways with limited walls when I'm in ghost mode, k?"

Stilza grinned "yeah, k". She pulled away from her hidey hole and continued into the interior of the building on her own, hoping she wasn't followed.

As the trio leaned in to converse, Marcy' listened in to what Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae had to say~ fair enough. In response to Niki Priddy Niki Priddy 's comment regarding Ket, she only offered a simple response, "New hires," she grinned, taking one final puff of her cigarra before discarding it.

As the whole team began moving in, taking out all manner of goons surrounding the warehouse and breaching the doors, Marcy' flicked to Niki again after taking a moment to look around, "
We'll run with you," she affirmed, waving her hand behind her to indicate that both her and her goons were with her, "Just to make sure you get there fine." Marcy' grinned, taking out her M-45 Blaster Pistol, ready to follow her in.

Ki'tala kept a close eye as she watched Snitch, not trusting the monkey-lizard, but would soon notice Viz Harridan Viz Harridan seeming to slip away from the others. She'd quickly nudge Jay's leg, pointing carefully in the direction she saw the other member go. The hunter tilted his head to the side, nodding a bit to his Jawa companion as he started to move.

"Stay here and help the others. I'll check it out." Seeming to know what this meant, the Jawa happily pulled out her vibroknife and soon making herself ready. When the signal went off, she would seemingly disappear into the shadows. She'd sneak around, her odd set of goggles seemingly helping guide her though the dark. Then there was a patrol. in her sights. Then, she would dart from the shadow, quickly slicing into the back of one of the patrolling being's leg, then quickly waiting for him to fall closer before jabbing into his neck.

"What the heck is that!?" One of the others called out before Ki'tala went on the attack again, using the dark and her small size to handle a second guard.

Meanwhile, Jay slowly walked up to where Ki'tala had pointed out, noticing Viz seeming to sneak around. As he walked up, he would turn so that the Beskar cloak was in a place to be useful. His face was still under his scarf, and his head under a hood. He'd quickly speak up in his usual attempt to hide his accent, not want her to notice the clear Concord Dawn in his tongue.

"Any reason you're sneaking around? Someone notices they might start asking questions." His pistols were still holstered, and his daggers sheaved. He was ready for anything though, knowing these gangsters could be anywhere really. Mostly though, he was hoping Viz would entertain his curiousity.

"Any reason you're sneaking around? Someone notices they might start asking questions."

Stilza had darted into one of the corridors leading to the interior when the cloaked Jai'galaar Gred Jai'galaar Gred had caught up to her. She rolled her eyes but Snitch, excited, unwound himself from her and jumped to where he was climbing him like the trunk of a tree. It was honestly a good sign that the Monkey-Lizard liked him, Snitch was intelligent and could judge a character, which meant she could most likely be alright with his company.

"I could ask you the same thing, Shadow Man." His not very well disguised accent and thinly veiled attempt to hide himself was not so much suspicious as curious. She didn't mind a guy who was tryna keep off the radar, not really. She checked her blaster and tapped her HUD. If they were going to lurk toward the Spice, she would need to make certain they weren't barred from entry. "I'm getting the goods, while the goods are good to get." She teased. "You're welcome to join, but I cannot guarantee I'm willing to share. My ... counterparts... " (She meant her internal personalities) "are better team-mates than I... I her am out for the catch."

"Flirt." Viz said from her vantage point above. Viz floated toward the hall. "You're path is clear, time to go."
"Chick, shut up and go. You're going to lose it." Moragan was uncharacteristically impatient.
"I like his outfit" Naobi sighed.

Stilza rolled her eyes again nodded. Then directed Gred with a tilt of her head. "Come along if you are. Snitch has taken a liking to you so he will most likely stay with you. Hope you don't mind. Where is your tiny but violent friend?"

Can You Hear Me

Smoke, blaster bolts, screams. The air was full of all three. Smoke from his explosive entrance and grenades. Bolts of colored lasers shot everywhere. Screams of alarm, of pain, and loss as friends collapsed next to each other.

Dominik kept up his assault, using one large steel pillar and the smoke grenades as cover, his thermal vision cutting right through to show all the gangsters standing out in the open. Eventually, only the smart ones who took cover remained, the rest's thermal temperature dropping from contact with the cold metal floor.

His robotic eye picked up a disturbance in the smoke to his right, an unusual swirling motion. As he focused in that direction he found two people heading towards him. He fired, but found his bolts slamming into something right before them. Then their shapes came through on the usual visual spectrum on Dominik's normal eye. It was two gangsters, one having a military-grade metal shield to stop any incoming fire. There were scorch marks from Dominik's blaster on it. The one behind the shield-bearer was geared up heavily, holding a rotating heavy blaster cannon. And its barrels were pointed right at Dominik, already spinning. "Bantha sucker!" He heard one of them yell.

Dominik grit his teeth as he rotated to the other side of the steel pillar. The tail of his coat hadn't even gone around the corner before the gray smoke around Dominik was colored blue. The steel pillar shook with the continuous heavy impacts, and he could feel the steel heating up. He couldn't stay there much longer, and no blind firing was going to work with that armor and shield protecting him. He considered throwing a Thermal Detonator, but if he didn't time it just right they could fling it back at him. And this close, it would be likely to hurt him just as well as the other guys. Blaster bolts still came in from all around, firing randomly into the smoke to try and hit him.

Ahead of him to his original left, though clouded by the smoke, was a raise in the metal floor, a railing, and some sort of crates and boxes pushed up against it. Dominik ran and leaped, tossing his gun over before himself. Although he tried to keep the pillar mostly between him and the approaching juggernaut, blaster bolts flew past Dominik's legs as he cleared the railing and boxes, landing on his stomach and rolling.

A gangster woman was standing there, foot on Dominik's tossed blaster, a sick smile on her face, and a blaster of her own pointed at Dominik's head. His hands pressed to the metal floor, he pivoted on them to swing his head back and legs forward. The blaster bolt turned the spot where his head had been to black, and his legs connected to the side of the gangster's leg. She didn't collapse, but had to crouch slightly to deal with the blow. She hissed and turned the blaster back on Dominik, but he had already drawn his holdout blaster. He shot her dead and she joined the others on the floor.

He was just getting to his feet, staying low to keep out of line of fire from the heavy rotary cannon that was now spewing bolts up past the railing and into the ceiling, when he noticed the smoke swirling again, another gangster running at him, a battlecry escaping his lips. Apparently, this one had run out of ammo or his blaster got jammed because he slammed the butt end of it against Dominik. Dominik was nothing if he wasn't fast, and he deflected the blow with his left arm. This gangster had some vigor in him, however, and as soon as it was clear he slammed his own head into Dominik's.

He stumbled back a pace, the man coming back with the blaster to strike. Dominik caught it this time with both hands near the barrel, held it up pointed at the sky. Dominik's knee struck him in the balls, weakening his grip on the weapon but not entirely. Dominik could see the anger and spite in this man's face. Dominik adjusted his grip on the gun and took another headbutt but on the side, Dominik turning his head to lessen the blow, and the man tried to kick Dominik in the balls in turn. A twist of his leg stopped it, but it was a good kick and it hurt.

With a strong wrenching motion, Dominik rotated the blaster up and over, pointing at the man then down at the ground. The man still had his finger in the trigger guard and wasn't letting go. The rotating motion snapped his finger with many wet cracks, causing him to scream in pain. But his fingers let up, and Dominik had the blaster. He was about to kill the gangster when he spotted to juggernaut pair rounding a corner, now level with him, blaster cannon firing already.

He grabbed the man's collar and used him like a shield. The blaster bolts slammed into the man's body, jerking him like a doll and killing him instantly.

"Little help here?! Anybody?!" Dominik called into his comm. If he had decent cover and a second or two to make his grenade launcher again he could end these guys, but he didn't have a second or good cover. Just a corpse that Dominik was trying desperately to hide behind, and a jammed blaster.

The roof tops were cleared so far, no doubt something that niki had made sure of, prowling across the cold roof tops stardust watched the chaos unfold as blasterfire lit up and impacted the ground. She was currently tailing Dominik Borra Dominik Borra which was a potential member to the family and part of her crew, if she had her way he'd already be a member but proof was needed before he could truely join up with the family.

Silently observing she watched him taking on a group all by himself, man still had it after a decade in a bacta tank, a smirk played along her lips as she continued observing as the juggernauts began to come out, frowning a little she watched the situation go from good to bad to worse real quick. Biting her cheek she stood and drew her blasters and popped her neck

time to get these truely tested

She spotted a gangster walking right under her, stepping into the ledge she neremt stepped right off and went soaring down slamming into the man and breaking his neck with a loud crunching sound. A few more turned in surpis but the sound of the iconic westar 35 echoed out in a near automatic fashion as she put that hair trigger to use and down five

keep your head down dominik, I'd hate to have to put you back into a bacta tank

No use in hiding who she was to him he had seen her armor already, blaster fire came her way but did nothing but make a loud PING! off her armor as the beskar did its work. She walked forward as she fired at those that exposed themselves setting some alight when they weren't fatal shots sending them screaming as they burned and withered on the ground, a particularly hard shot hit in in the chest and rocked her a bit as she moved nearby to cover and looked over to dominik

keep that body held up!

She pulled a thermal det from her belt out and set it to medium yield, she hit the button and counted till the last few seconds before chucking it and breaking cover to tackle dominik as a massive explosion was vinna occur and well that body was gonna help but armor might

Jay smirked a bit at the "Shadow Man" comment, which honestly fit him right now. It also surprised him as he felt a Monkey-Lizard climb onto him. He chuckled a bit, the little guy reminding him a bit of his Strill he had before... well getting here. He gave Snitch a little rub under the chin. He then heard her explain what she was doing, looking a little surprised as she kept going. Was she...? As he thought for a moment he heard Stilza say he could come along, and that Snitch would mostly likely stay with him.

"Tha.... Yeah. that's ok. Kinda reminds me of an old pet of mine. And Ki'tala's probably stabbing some poor gangster right about now." He would pull out his pistols and start looking around. He didn't have a HUD, but despite his own thoughts on what he was he did still have his training. "You can call me Jay by the way, but I may use that Shadow Man bit later."

Meanwhile

Ki'tala quickly began to jump around and stab another ganister in the leg, quickly scurrying back into the dark.

Dominik had hidden behind stone pillars and watched them blown to pieces. Metal support beams he'd seen slagged. But the stench from a body being chewed, cooked then turned to charcoal by heavy cannon fire was something else. Dom had his body turned to as flat as it could get behind the body, blaster bolts soaring close enough to singe his skin. The corpse's clothes were on fire, and Dominik was glad he had held the body with his metallic left arm. A bolt tore through his pants, just marking his leg, and another burned a line on his cheek. Instinct would be to flinch at the pain, but any deviation from his position would kill him. He kept his position exactly

Dominik picked out the distinct sounds of Westar's being fired, and he just hoped that no wise-ass gangster had flanked him and was about to end him. Then Star's voice under her helmet called out to him. Telling him to keep his head down, like what else was he supposed to do? "Yeah, well, you're gonna have to-" His completely witty and legendary comeback was cut short from a bolt tearing through the black beany he wore on his head, singing a few hairs and knocking it clean off. "-Kark!" He shouted in frustration and surprise.

He glanced over and saw Star holding a thermal grenade. It was armed and ticking, and he saw the familiar slight nodding of the head as she counted the seconds. She'd have to get it right, or that gangster with the shield would knock it back and kill her, probably him too.

She had timed it just right. She threw it towards the juggernaut pair and the shield-bearer went to knock it aside. Star tackled him from behind his burning meatshield, blaster fire ricocheting off her armor as he tried his best to hide behind her. The shield-bearer knocked the thermal grenade maybe a foot into the air before it went off, the blast atomizing metal, flesh, and blaster alike in a few-meter radius. The superheated air exploded, sending a shockwave that sent Star and Dom tumbling over into a wall. Dominik's back hit the wall, Star shielding him still. He coughed for a second, getting his bearings before he saw a bolt ding off Star's armor again. He grabbed one of her holstered Weskars and killed the gangster who fired the shot.

He stood up and offered a hand to help Star stand. He'd hand her back her gun before moving to retrieve his own blaster, also being thrown from the blast into the nearby wall. He checked it briefly, changed its magazine anyway, and fired a test shot into the smoke. Someone screamed, and he knew it was still functioning perfectly.

"Thanks for that save, Star. I owe you one." He said before gesturing to the rest of the warehouse. "I really came in through the wrong door, huh? Is anyone else even here yet? What about those droids?"

As though summoned by the complaint, small droids began to filter into the warehouse. The clatter and clinging of metal against metal as they scurried to and fro trying to get inside before another of their own did. Over everyone's heads began to appear the flying drones, singling out a target of choice before descending on them angrily.

Several of the Firebee drones latched onto a target, gang members trying to pry them off and running for help before the Firebee detonated as another member tried to peel off the offending Droid. The shrapnel gouging into the helper and victim as the force pike droids began clambering through.

Over and under racks, around pillars and through even each other as blaster bolts descended on the chaotic scene of droids gathering in horde mentality. Gang members emerging from deeper within the warehouse headquarters at the sound of fighting.

The three Jitterbugs lit their torches, burning through the access panels to each of the power conduits before exposing the mains to each compartment of the warehouse. The first three little torches sputtered as they began to sear through the wiring, stepping aside to let fresh torches take the work. The three spent droids making a dash back to the safety of their crate back at the speeder as the power inside the building began to flicker on and off with the passing seconds.

Screams and shouts inside as the lights began to stay off and confusion took hold. Flashlights lit up, beams lighting up the interior as the gang began to coordinate amongst themselves. Seven moving to secure the distribution dock and the spice held there while the rest spread out and began to work through the first floor.

The upstairs offices made into the privileged accommodations began to light up with flashlights, the more experienced enforcers of the gang finally waking when someone thought to bang on the stairway door.

Niki couldn't help but grin as the sounds of fighting began to filter through the night. The introduction, or rather formal introduction to the twi'lek confirmed her suspicions of who they were. Stardust drew close enough to force Niki to look up as she spoke again. The corners of her cheeks rosy against the cool night air.

Or at least she hoped it seemed that way before Star ran off into the night.

Marcy made it clear their intentions as Niki lifted her arms to the sky, wrapping a hand around one wrist and stretching her back before pulling the jacket open and removing 'Revy' from it's hiding place behind her back.

<<Road forward clear. See you inside.>> Matthew informed her before radio silence began. He received the confirmation blip as he packed up and began moving towards the headquarters.

"Let's not be late then." She checked the slide of her weapon, mindful of her finger against the side rather than on the trigger as Matthew had instructed her.

She hadn't shot a gun proper, and unlike him hadn't the military experience for weapon etiquette as he did. Some basic rundown lessons had transpired in the short time between her recovery until this point had been drilled into her as the trip to the front doors was made.

She walked ahead, with all the confidence that she could muster as the realization of what she was about to do began to dawn on her. The words of a certain doctor ringing in her ear as she wondered about the ramifications before the sound of fighting began to drown out the feelings.

From the directions and sounds, she figured the majority had taken side entrances as the front doors came into view. The large trio standing outside as chaos inside made them turn their backs. The flicker of anger across her face was thrown away as she whistled sharply, an augmented face whipping around as Revy was lined up with the face.

The weapon roared, a large flash emitting as the body fell backwards from the stumbling hulk. The other two dumbfounded by everything going on around them. Their instructions to not move from the front door keeping them from entering as they stared between their fallen friend and those approaching.

The weapon kicked into her shoulder, the flash and subsequent results not seen with how she squinted even before the weapon had gone off. If it hadn't been for the large caliber, the slightly high and right shot might have done nothing more than severely wound the goon if Marcy had been paying attention.

As the various players assembled for this little exercise in search and destroy, the Lupine retreated back into the darkened corners where light did not dare shine. These were the places he felt most at home, and there, he waited patiently. Time was but a construct of the mind, and he had all the time in the galaxy this night. Soon thereafter, blaster shots rang out in the night, and the sounds of fighting soon filled the alleyways. Yelling and screaming, as those on both sides dished out as much as they took. This was always the way of things, and that's when he would act.

Rule #1: Always wait until they are preoccupied, then make your move.

Ket would reach out through the tendrils of the Force, and manipulate it to his whims, melting into the darkness, his form seemingly invisible to the naked eye. The light bent around him, causing him to be nothing more than a quick shimmer to the untrained eye, and dismissed just the same. Making his way through the corridors, he kept himself to the places where the eye did not see, making sure to keep his footfalls as quiet as the soon-to-be dead. The Force was a marvelous thing, but make no mistake, like all things it would require a price for it's compliance. Nothing in life was free. Nothing. But the old wolf was used to such things, and he'd paid dearly over the decades. For now, however, he focused on the task at hand.

Rule #2: Everything you do is done to accomplish your goal and nothing else.

Taking pause, he would stand in a dingy corner of the warehouse proper. Droids, he assumed to be the red-haired woman's from the speeder, began to do their work. Sparks began to fly here and there, and lights began to flicker one after another, going off at random intervals and at random locations. Soon, emergency lighting* began to light up various parts of the warehouse, albeit dimly, but enough for the gangoons who had begun to spread out to navigate. It was almost comical, in a way, and Ket stole himself a bit of a smile at the panic that began to ensue. He could hear a large explosion rock another part of the building, very close to where he now was. A thermal detonator, perhaps. Sounded enough like one, but he paid it no mind. The more chaos that ensued, the better off his odds of doing what he came to do with minimal effort.

Rule #3: Always, always, always go for the kill. Leave nothing alive unless you must.

Violence.

This was the only thing that mattered. Absolutely bone crushing violence on a scale most were not accustomed to. This was what Ket Van-Derveld did better than anyone else. This was why you came to him. To do that which you could not bring yourself to do on your own.

With unnatural reflexes, Ket lept into action, wasting not even a moment. Ahead of him, 3 gangoons were fumbling with their flashlights, trying to get a bead on what was going on. Flexing his right wrist, a saber hilt slide from his sleeve into his waiting hand, igniting with that familiar snap-hiss. The lime green blade glowed bright int he darkness and dim lights, and it flew through the air, spinning about three times before it became lodged within the chest of a gangoon, his face contorting into one of surprise, whilst the other two next to him looked on in shock and horror. The Lupine lept forward, his leather coat flapping in his wake as a callused hand shot out, grabbing one of the gangoons by the wrist. Wrenching the man's arm behind his own torso, he let out a blood-curdling scream and sinew tore and joints snapped. As this was happening, the gangoon with a lightsaber humming away in his chest fell to his knees. Grabbing the man whose arm he had wrenched out of the socket, Ket grabbed his head by the scalp, and as the lightsaber'd goon slumped forward, he shoved his head downward, impaling his skull through the forehead on the still ignited blade. The third goon went to throw a punch, having no real time to grab his blaster, and Ket twisted himself over the two now-corpses, and shot his foot out toward the goon's leg at a 45 degree angle. The result was his shin snapping in half, and the bone ripping through skin and clothing alike, blood smattering everywhere. The goon absolutely howled in pain, falling down to one knee. Ket twirling himself around, and quite literally grabbed the man's exposed shin bone, and yanked back, tearing the lower half of this man's leg clean off his body. Ket tossed it lightly, so it flipped up in the air, and grabbed it by the ankle, and stabbed the pointy bones into the mans jugular. Try as he may, the goon could make no sound, only the gurgle of vitae as he fell to the floor, and bled out rather painfully.

Ket turned on his heel, and went back to the other two dead goons, and grabbed the hilt of his saber, de-igniting it. The blade retracted from the body of one and head of the other, and both dropped, the holes still smoking as Ket moved onward toward the staircase of the office space where lights seemed to flash through the windows randomly and orders were being shouted. His face registered barely any emotion as he flexed his other wrist, and his saber's twin slid into his free hand. Up the stairs he went...

Rule #4: If presented the opportunity, always make an entrance. Should any survive, they won't ever forget the day.

Ket Van-Derveld stood on the landing in front of the office door, as more gangoons slammed into it from the other side, trying in vain to open it. Ket's now blood covered face contorted into a sadistic grin, and he licked his lips, the bitter iron taste of blood a welcome one. His voice would change as well, to any who could hear it among all the noise and confusion. It was viscous, cruel, and the stuff of nightmares and terror. This was the Ket Van-Derveld of old, rearing it's ugly, monstrous head. Force help anyone unlucky enough to be on the other side of his blades this night.

The Golden Dragon/The Executioner
All the carnage running around she didn't care about it she just kept prowling around hacking and slashing any gang member that stood in her way with woeful abandon. She eventually got tired of sneaking around and turned off her cloaking and decided to enter a room that hasn't been cleared yet but has high alert gang members in it, She waited till they where near the door before she grabbed two of them through the wall and ripped them through the hole she made not caring about what the metal did to them on the way out before taking their weapons and turning it on the rest of the gang within.

She took a few hits but she kept moving along she got a few burns on her armor and it stung but she kept on slicing away like a unstoppable machine thankfully her armor was strong enough to handle weapons fire and she could thank her physiology for the rest of her continued persistence as she continued and decapitated the final goon in the room she was in leaving nothing behind but bloodied corpses as she continued to the next area.

Straight to the point. A simple hand signal followed Niki's first shot on one of the gangsters by the door: << GO >>. The goons knew what to do; two synchronised blaster bolts hit their two targets centre-mass, both slumping down to the ground as if previously rehearsed. Immediately, they charged forward, stacking up by their designated entry point provided by Niki.

Now taking out her blaster, she moved next to Niki, "
After you!" she grinned, prepared to follow her in to ensure she reached the boss. As Niki would enter, Marcy' and the goons would follow close behind, ready to engage any and all contacts in conjunction with her droids as the rest of the team assaulted positions from a different angle.

Stilza chuckled. "Fine by me."

Progressing down the labyrinthine corridors, the hullabaloo at the entry way was only slightly dampened. She tapped her HUD. CAB-48 whistled shrilly. The refinery was around the next corner, and there was a 50/50 shot at the workers and guards already having been evacuated or pulled away by the chaos the others were causing.

She rounded the bend of the corridor and ducked to one side as a blaster bold very nearly grazed her ear. "Son of A Bantha's Ass." She yelped and rose her lightsaber, deflecting another bolt less than an inch away from Jay the Shadow Man's face as he followed behind her. She dove toward the nearest cover, an overturned distillery counter, its cooking unit absulutely shattered, sump overflow spilling all over the brushed cement floor.

"I guess it was too much to expect the room to be abandoned." She hollered to Jay over the rapid fire shots as both of them crouched behind the meager cover or the table. "CAB!" She yelped. "Find us a way out, or we will need to shoot our way through." She grimiced and shot blindly at the wall of fire, muttering "I'm not missing out on the haul though, so we need to grab the goods before rather than after... even if we have to pick off every last one of these fekkin assholes."

Jay followed behind, turning every now and then to watch him and Stilza’s back. He was certainly curious about this one, that was for sure. And some extra goods never heard anyone in this kind of business. And then…. A bolt was deflected by his head as a lightsaber hissed. Those kind of reflexes she had to be a Force user. He didn’t have much time to think about it though as the firefight erupted. He dropped behind the table, being sure Snitch was ok before pulling out his knife to try and get a decent look at who was out there. At least until a blaster bolt shot it out of his hand.

“Frakking…!” He nodded as Stilza pointed out that they needed to get this score. He nodded, getting ready to fight. “Ok. This’ll definitely be fun then. Hope they don’t realize how much kick these revolvers have.” He tucked his cloak around Snitch to make sure he had some cover before peeking out and firing four shots into the gangsters before looking around, noticing some around one of the distilleries.

“Hey? Any of the stuff they use to make Spice got a bit of a bang to it?”
