+ High Caliber + The destructive power of this custom enforcer pistol can potentially punch through some of the most resilient materials, and even be capable of destroying smaller vehicles such as speeder bikes up to land-speeders with ease.
+ Maximum Range + While not terrifically accurate to it's maximum range, the cartridge load makes the projectile travel quite a ways.
+ Recoil Reduced + The addition of a folding stock and an additional external compensator make the weapon readily handled.
- More Magazines - Limited in magazine size compared to most slugthrower weapons of smaller caliber. The capacity is average of typical Morellian enforcer pistols.
- Big for a Pistol - The addition of a folding stock and compensator on top of the internal recoil system makes for a bulky and lengthy pistol. Typical holsters and quickdraw's are not an option.
- Low Rate of Fire - Niki's inability to operate larger or high recoil weapons led to the decision for a low rate of fire. The caveat made to aid in recoil management along with maintaining target sight at the cost of volume of fire.
The typical enforcer pistol is a capable weapon on its own. The one sent in for modernization stuck in the back of her mind as a strange and unique thing. The idea of tinkering with the design not drawing much merit until the need for a personal weapon arose.
Building upon the large caliber platform, the idea became simply of adding as much recoil and noise reduction as possible. The exchange being that of overall length of the weapon platform. Swapping a typical slide for a gas cycling bolt, the pistol is actuated in a similar manner to a larger weapon rather than a pistol.
The product being something she felt comfortable and confident enough to wield for her limited training. Distribution of the weight over entire length along with a weighted stock and both internal and external recoil suppression systems make for an alarmingly light weapon platform with minimal kickback.
