<{ "They're trying to splice the door, and make way to the Comms Tower- pin them down!" }> Crimson's orders broadcasted to the Heavy-Squadron that arrived to support them; taking command of the situation, with his eyes briefly pulling over unto Amiggie Lutih Amiggie Lutih , "Be car-" Suddenly, Dominik Borra Dominik Borra crashed into the Stormtrooper- right as his Blaster ran dry, the audible -CLICK- and -HISS- of the energy pack running out of vital ammunition. The Special Agent was quick to tackle the Stormtrooper unto the ground, dropping the makeshift shield and the empty blaster as he tried to recover- only for the weight to pull him straight to the ground. Quickly, Crimson's hand went to his sidearm- the same one that killed the Jedi- to try and blast Dominik's face- due to the angle, it was going to be more his side than his face, however in the moment it mattered little. The Stormtrooper's hand jutted forth, attempting to take hold of Dominik's face to keep him in place as he pulled the blaster's trigger; all the while,

<{ " Amiggie Lutih Amiggie Lutih , take care of the others! I have this one! They're going to try and take out our communications!" }> His voice echoed through his helmet, as he stared forth with lethal intention unto Dominik.

YEARS AGO
FORT REX

"The Imperial Order will bring peace, and prosperity to the galaxy." TK-1575's instructor said to the Cadet, his voice coarse and worn
with years. "You will fight for a righteous cause, and in doing so, bring freedom. For only through Order does one find Peace among
these burning stars.
" The Instructor continued. TK-1575 nodded, and smiled- he was doing this for a cause, something greater than
himself. For his father, for his mother, for his home. To bring prosperity, and beauty to a galaxy so torn apart by chaos and by war. War.

YEARS LATER
DATHOMIR

The Flametrooper advances unto the Tunnel, pulling the trigger- setting forth a stream of bright red flame that scorches the house.
From within, screams; burn them out were their orders, and this is what it looked like. As they came scrambling out, some wielding
their bows or assorted weaponry- TK-1575, with his Heavy Cannon, pulled the trigger in turn. THWA-THWA-THWA! Dropping like
flies. This is what Order looks like, this is what Peace looks like, this is what must be done to bring Order to the Galaxy. Crimson
knew that this is necessary. These Witches were to torment, and ruin more lives; how many innocents have been killed by their
manipulations? Too many to count, a few more innocents don't matter.

For the Empire.

There was no lethal intent.

The colors never lied. She watched the man passively, even with the barrel in her face. He had no will to bring her harm. Or at least, no intent to. That was enough. Her eyes narrowed as he grabbed her though, her thumb already hovering over the activator of her saber, pointed right for his stomach. Just because he didn't intent to hurt or kill her didn't mean she trusted him.

Neither did the knife, but he didn't turn that on her. She blinked, confusion taking over. Directions? Code?

Nida.

She looked back towards the soldier, only to find him gone. He probably did something he'd get in trouble for. Court marshalled, even. A shame she couldn't thank him. Maybe she'd have the chance, eventually. Iris tapped on the datapad on her wrist, hastily sending out a message to the only Jedi she knew was coming for Nida. And Yula. Cause she was leading that group.

:: Master Tafo, Yula, I have Nida's location and the code to her cell. Location attached. I'm going to retrieve her. ::

Should she? Probably not. But she wasn't going to sit back and just point the direction this time.

As sirens and alarms rang above the chaos of battle, the prison was turned into a full-blown war zone as Stormtrooper reinforcements started to trickle in. The main area where the assault had begun was now awash with colourful blaster bolts and lightsabers that any casual bystander might even find beautiful were it not for the death said lights caused.

Yula Perl Yula Perl had located an access terminal to begin hacking into the system and by using the catwalk he'd torn apart as a springboard she'd been able to reach it, leaving Thirdas, Kyra Perl Kyra Perl and Jedi Master Aaran Tafo Aaran Tafo to fend off the amassing Imps. Still hauling around the slab of thick metal, when a pair of Stormtroopers decided to charge at him with stun batons Thirdas gave them a hard shove with the makeshift shield, knocking them to the ground.

"Here, hold this for me," he told the prone Imps. "Wha--Hnng!"

Thirdas proceeded to lower the piece of catwalk onto the unfortunate pair, planting it on top of them and pinning them underneath its massive weight. While their lives were spared, all they could do was squirm helplessly until somehow the slab of heavy metal was removed.

"Thanks. You wouldn't believe how heavy this thing is to lug around."

Picking up one of their stun batons, he gave each one a quick zap to make them settle down. He took up position behind the improvised cover from where he may resume returning fire from his assault rifle. While knelt, he found that one of the poor guys he'd "buried alive" was frantically trying to reach into a pack on his belt. Thinking he was going for a grenade of some kind, Thirdas put his boot on the Imp's hand and reached inside himself.

No grenade, or even a weapon. Just a pack of death sticks and a lighter. Amused, he pulled them out for the poor sod and lit one up for him, sticking it between his lips. "These things will kill you one day, you know."

"Yeah... sure..." the Stormtrooper gasped helplessly between short puffs from his death stick.

A glance up at Yula still busy hacking. "Find her yet?"

Breaching

The team were at an outside wall and needed to get inside. Going over the top was not an option so at a corner, Gabriel set a breaching charge. Not normally one for underestimating how much charge to use, half the corner was blown open. The hole was enough for “The Reek” transport to go through, but luckily Gabriel was not as dumb as he acted. Several other smaller chargers were set on junction boxes and structural supports nearby. Mind you none of this was strong enough to bring down that second of the wall or anything, but there was more than enough distraction to get them inside.

[Sauriel, Michael… push through with Chamuel and Uriel.]

[Moving]

A moment later Castiel was through the breach and then Samael, then Azrael, then Gabriel and finally Bartleby, there was chaos inside the facility. Stormtroopers were running to ambush points, Jedi were assaulting, Imperial Knights were running a counter-offensive. There were plenty of distractions to get them to their next objective. That was not before Gabriel set a charge that (when initiated) would take down the north sniper tower.

Their objective was the ADS (Air Deterrent System), shutting it off will allow for “no landing” extractions as well as potential airstrikes if necessary. There were no doubt several AA turrets, but there also were power sources for them and they would not be local if the “Core Four”’s (Azrael, Gabriel, Sauriel and Bartleby) history with the Empire would have told them anything. They had to cover their tracks though, stealth was key

They were moving through the chaos to what looked to be a set of generators, each operator slamming small preset charges on them and continuing to weave through the hallways inside and along the walls on the outside. The only way to get through this alive was to fight like you were expecting to, they knew this and it was their M.O. even when they had to operate with stealth in mind.

[Entering the Breach]

[Take the closest tower. Provide Sniper support.]

[Sir, your positions are relative enough to where I can provide rudimentary Overwatch.]

[Acknowledged.]

Big squad moving on us.

Those guys are huge.

I literally just said that, it’s like I’m speaking a foreign language.

Cut the chatter and go to the grenades.

I’ll buy you some time.

Getting into a position where he could get a good shot, Samael, the team’s heavy gunner pulled out “Big Bertha” his mini-gun and started to roll through slugs and a very rapid rate.

... yeah, we scare them.

"Come on, it wasn't that bad," Valery said in response to his scoff, just to poke a little fun at him. But that quickly ceased when a blaster bolt nearly struck his face and forced him into cover. Valery immediately drew her blade up again to create a shield against incoming blaster fire, but she was quite relieved that he was safe.

After losing her husband to the Imperials, she still feared that getting close to someone would bring that kind of pain back into her life again. But she needed to trust him and keep moving forward.

"One or two more jumps!" Valery called out, while he kept the soldiers below pinned down a bit. When she finally saw an opportunity, she stepped in close and reached out with the Force, "Here we go," she said before she jumped up to the second platform, and pulled Aldric along as gently as possible. The higher they went, the scarier it could get, but it also created distance while they were able to use the height to their advantage.

"How long do you think you need to take the tower offline?" Valery asked while she got situated and did her best to offer him the cover he needed to take down the few who were firing up at them from below.

Aschwin's curved lightsaber brought the jedi knight low as they quickly fell to the floor in a brief but intense lightsaber duel. The soft buzz of his holo transmission device occurred and a quick update was given from Command Tower about an intruder ( Jax Thio Jax Thio ) breaching through the area nearest to the prison blocks. He was about to respond back when communication's went down most likely in a sabotage attempt to disorganize the Imperial Defenders. A quick turn of his head as Tusken Imperial Knight known as Jakkor Kess Jakkor Kess said that the force had sensed the pair coming towards their direction.

A quick war bellow echoed from the man and Aschwin followed without an ounce of hesitation. His 293rd Heavy Shock Infantry was left behind to secure the courtyard from the Galactic Alliance Forces. Running after him with his lightsaber still drawn and ready to engage without a moment's notice. Moving beside the Tusken Warrior directly blocking the pathway of Aveline Cuiléin Aveline Cuiléin who promptly took out her lightsaber in a desperate attempt to fight against them. Bold but foolish next to the power of two experienced Imperial Knights.

Moving his lightsaber within makashi stance and pointing his lightsaber's blade directly towards her.

"The Alliance must be running out of experienced jedi if they sent you against the empire."

Aschwin taunted her with venom filled words

"We're getting beat back!" A Stormtrooper yelled pressing his back against a crate. He could hear shotgun slugs penetrating the crate while 4 more Stormtroopers rushed in firing their blaster rifles wildly.

"How many are there?!" One of the Stormtroopers shouted seeing Jax swiftly hiding behind a wall.

"Just one!" The Stormtrooper said peering his head to see all of the mangled white armored corpses strewn on the floor.

"What the frack?!" The other Stormtrooper said. "Just one person! Are they a Jedi?!"

"No, he is using conventional weaponry," The Stormtrooper shouted.

"Son of a....." One of the soldiers rose their blaster rifle shifting through the corpses of his comrades. "Are the Alliance sending in special forces?"

Just as he crept closer to the wall, the Stormtrooper was met with shotgun blast across his chest. Chunks of flesh along with blood gushing from it as he landed hard back first onto the bloodied ground. "Greetings gentlemen!" Jax said smirking towards the shocked Stormtroopers. The Jedi unloaded a couple of shotgun blasts downing two troopers before pulling out his Heavy Pistol firing at the trooper attempting to tackle him on the right.

The bolt pierced the visor leaving a large hole and collapsed onto the floor. Jax moved his sights towards the remaining Stormtrooper who tried to fire but was greeted with a blaster bolt on his chest. "I'm halfway there Aveline," the Jedi said stepping over the fresh corpses. "I just got a little sidetracked by the welcome wagon."

The bulk of the fighting took place at the courtyard according to what this squad said. The more Jax can distract the better, he may not have the Force but he was a walking armory. "Fighting without the Force isn't too bad." Jax smiled. "Just gotta rely on my other senses."

Just then, Aveline said that she had to deal with a "beastie boy" and that she would be delayed. Jax gulped fear filling his veins he and Aveline may not be Master and Padawan but that didn't Jax couldn't worry for her. "I'm not losing her not again," Jax thought anger starting boil over. "Change of plans!" Jax said. "I'm coming to you!"

The Jedi sprinted knowing where Aveline was at, he tapped into the Alliance's communications network following their plan of attack after all. He blasted any Stormtrooper in his way. "I'm almost there," Jax said skidding towards Aveline's location. His padawan was surrounded by two Imperial Knights: One an old man and the other a Tusken Raider? Interesting.

Jax took the opportunity to approach the pair about to attack Aveline. "I come here!" Jax declared. "To chew bubblegum and kick ass!"

There was an awkward pause before Jax smirked. "And I'm all out of ass!" he said.

"From me, with love!"

"Oh, you have got to be KIDDING ME!"

Alex gazed upwards and saw the explosives arcing in towards him. He knew at this range, it would be useless to try and counter with greater force. Extinguishing his left hand saber and clipping it to his belt, Alex called upon the Force, extending his left hand and giving the incoming bombs a subtle nudge to the side, changing their trajectories so that they would miss him and his allies. From the size of the explosions, Alex knew that a thermal detonator or two had been tossed. The stormtrooper who had thrown them was playing for keeps.

"How much longer, hirani," Alex asked Seku, as he re-ignited his left hand saber. "We can't keep dodging thermal detonators all day."

"Screw it, just cut the door down," Seku shouted in exasperation as she yanked the code breaker from the door's numeric panel and flung it into her pack . "This damned thing isn't getting us anywhere!"

"For the love of Yoda, cover me, somebody" Alex requested, turning to jab both of his sabers at a point towards the top of the door. The blades began burning through the metal like a hot knife through butter. He flicked a switch on both sabers, setting the weapons to maximum power. A hail of blaster bolts bounced off the walls around him.

The plan had been set, the rescue had begun, and hell was breaking loose.

The Jedi were swift and cunning with their surprise attack on the secret facility, some had already gotten into the blacksite unseen while others were beginning their path of destruction toward the prisoner. Silas was doing those very things with one instruction given to him by the organizers of the raid, create as much noise as possible.

This time he was going at it alone, a sight that was becoming more common the more months passed in his training. Master Valery wanted to make sure he'd be able to survive by himself and use his initiative. If he couldn't trust himself, Silas wasn't going to last long in the harsh reality of the galaxy. The teen needed to prove to himself and Valery that all of his training had been worth it, now was the time to do just that.

Silas sneaked along the outside of the facility, keeping out of sight and low for now. He was coming up towards a side entrance that was used to bring in speeder trucks full of equipment. It was one of the few entrances being attacked right now, and that showed as a group of guards stood idle in front of the large metallic doors. The padawan crouch down behind a barrier and peeked over to see a driver of a speeder arguing with the security. It seemed like the control center wasn't replying to their requests from the inside.

Looking over at the large speeder, an idea sprung into his head. With enough force, the vehicle was sure to smash through the doors and create a whole bunch of racket. Silas seemed settled on the audacious plan and leaned down to grab a small slab of concrete off the floor. Once he was close enough, he was going to use the rubble to send that pedal to the floor. Within seconds, that very thing happened.

The speeder slowly but surely picked up speed as Silas rolled into cover, glaring over to the shocked guards who didn't even have a chance to do anything but jump to the side in desperation. A giant crash echoed through the air as the heavy load blew the doors wide open, in turn also flipping the speeder on its side and flinging its cargo all over the cargo bay.

Smoke erupted from its body, and with that, a wail of an alarm erupted through that area of the black site.

BLACKSITE BARBAROUS - CELL BLOCK QUARTER, SECTIONAL COMMAND CENTER
Sci-Fi Command Center — polycount

Report after report came into the command center, each painting a bleaker image of the battlefield the Blacksite had become.
The Alliance forces had now made several breaches of the exterior wall, with groups of Jedi and Alliance commandos within the facility itself. Watching from a myriad of circular security cameras hidden on the walls and roof, FN-999 and his aides watched with growing concern as the infiltrators moved closer and closer to the cell quarter.

"Sir, we've received a profile on another Jedi." called a nearby officer. "Humanoid with immense physical strength, probably enough to breach most of the blast doors in the facility."

"Do you know if they have any long-ranged attacks?" asked the colonel.

"None that we've seen so far." replied the officer.

"Good." responded FN-999, letting out a sigh of relief. "Send a trio of snipers to get the job done."

"Yes, sir." concluded the officer.

In three separate alcoves several floors above the Jedi, three stormsnipers swung into position.

Given the mess the Jedi had made, it did not take long for the snipers to find their target. While he was still exposed, they swung their rifles into position, each locking their sights on the man's head in the hope of firing before they could be detected.

"Urgent news, sir!" yelled another officer, fear in his eyes. "Jedi have been detected within a hundred meters of the cell blocks and closing fast!"

The Baron had seen enough foiled defenses in his twenty-five years of service to know that action needed to be immediate.

"Seal all blast doors and vents leading to the cell block quarter." ordered FN-999 urgently. "Let no one in - friend or foe. I'll rally the cell block garrison myself. Command shall be assumed by the most senior officer until I return."

Next, the Baron made one last general comms address.

[[Blacksite Barbarous, this is Nines. Due to the proximity of Alliance forces, I am sealing the cell block section. Anyone attempting to enter will be considered a hostile.]]
Unholstering his blaster rifle, FN-999 speedwalked out of the command center before accelerating into a jog as the doors locked and sealed behind him.

DjqGXyQ.png

[All forces stationed in the cell blocks, this is Nines. Assume defensive formation in front of the main blast doors. Shoot anything that breaks through until it stops moving.]

In an instant, the blast doors of the main entrance to the cells slammed shut, automatically locking and sealing themselves. Emerging out of the side hall of the prison ward, the Baron joined a wave of white as they jogged towards the entrance. About ten meters away, they all halted and assumed position.

In all, twenty stormtroopers, ten shocktroopers, and one Imperial Baron lined up to face the sealed main entrance. In order to best fit their ranks into the hall, the stormtroopers took the front of the formation and lined up in four rows of five, all bent down on one knee as they pointed their rifles at the blast doors. The shocktroopers remained standing, each wielding a minigun, which they hastily pointed at the blast doors as well. FN-999 stood at the very back, supervising the process.

After the last troopers unholstered their weapons, an eerie silence filled the hall.

They were all keenly aware that only a single reinforced blast door stood between themselves and an unknown foe.

DjqGXyQ.png

OOC: The primary entrance to the hall with prison cells has been locked down. A big blast door, Nines, and a cohort of thirty are the last obstacle between the rescue team and Nida.

<"Sarge, I got eyes on two Jedi. One...really big one...like really, really big. He just ripped up a karking auto-turret with his mind. Even his muscles have muscles...I wonder if he's as big in other--">

<"This ain't the time, Seven!">
barked Sergeant Kinnard, bringing up the rear.

<"'Course not, Sarge."> Kinnard could hear the smirk in her voice. <"The other one is small, most likely a padawan. I'm no expert, but he looks like a Nagai.">

<"Here's to hoping he was raised by Jedi and not his lunatic species,">
Trickshot said. The Codru-Ji gunslinger held a particle beam battle rifle in each pair of his hands, pushing up behind Seven to take cover on the other side of the doorway.

<"Like you're one to talk. You were born a dog,"> said Mako. He joined Seven, kneeling behind her to get a clear sight line. Of the ten squad members, he was one of three that carried an electrostaff-- the rest preferred the smaller batons; Trickshot carried four of them. <"So how we playin' this Sarge?">

<"First and foremost, that isn't just a 'big jedi'. That's Caltin fething Vanagor. And we're playing it simple. We separate em', we surround em', and we put em' down. You, Seven, Trickshot, Dom, you're Beta team. You're on the Padawan. The rest of us will provide cover for the Lady. She looks determined. Tez, find yourself a nest, bunker down, and do what you do best.>

There was nothing else to be said. Beta team moved out, Seven at the helm, her battle rifle spitting a hail of particle bolts, Trickshot and the rest fanning out around her. Zorah followed almost casually, her ice blue eyes boring into the massive form of Caltin Vanagor. Truth be told, his power was beyond hers-- she could feel it pressing down on her like a literal weight on her shoulders. But she was a Fel. She would endure.

Between one step and the next, her lightsaber was in her right hand, the pure white blade flaring to life. The Jedi were not her enemy-- in another life, she might've been one herself, a Knight of a different cloak and creed. But still, this brazen attack could not be ignored. She eyed the bodies of slain soldiers littering the prison courtyard. How many had they killed already?

Sergeant Kinnard rushed ahead of her, trigger finger working overtime, each squeeze sending a three-round burst across the corpse and debris riddled courtyard. A volley of bolts followed his own reports, sailing down range at Caltin Vanagor. The fight was on.

NEW JEDI ORDER
BLACKSITE BARBAROUS - DORIN
Aaran Tafo Aaran Tafo | Sars Sarad Sars Sarad
v9K53XB.png

The man in the duster approached, and he addressed her Master as if he had all the time in the galaxy, but it was what he said that caused her brow to faintly knit together.

"Step aside. The Force has revealed the girl to me, you need not be a part of this."

"What a coincidence, the Force told me to interfere."

Revealed her to him? Why? For what purpose? She was just a padawan. A teenager. One of many, so why her? She didn’t feel a lie, but then this… whatever he was could still be telling a lie unknowingly and if he fully believed what he was saying, it’d be difficult, if not impossible to tell.

Then this… Duster Man began to circle, ostensibly to try and get to her, and she watched both that man and her Master in this strange dance.

"You need a protector? What kind of Warrior are you?"

She frowned. It wasn’t a matter of need. She hadn’t had a protector on Ilum, but she survived because she had an ally. She knew full well that it could have gone very badly without Ariana’s help. She’d said as much. And it would have been pretty difficult to leave without her Master’s timely arrival. She knew, especially after that experience, that she still had a long way to go.

What kind of warrior was she? One that was still learning. But then any good warrior always would be. And the warrior she was didn’t flinch when Sars tried to come at her, and Aaran once more headed him off.

"Padawan." He said, his tone losing some of the chipper notes from before, taking a bit more of a sombre and serious edge. "Is there any benefit to engaging?"

Her eyes flicked from her master, to the Duster Man, and back again. “Benefit, Master?” A rhetorical query. “No. Not for any of us,” she blinked - was there ever any benefit to a duel? More questions for later. “And it isn’t honourable for him to do it, either.”

Somehow she doubted the man had considered that. Even she knew what this looked like, and whether that was actually the case or not was irrelevant. She was inexperienced, not naive.

“This isn’t helping anyone.”

And all he was doing was hindering.

When Sarad moved Aaran Tafo Aaran Tafo had moved with him. The Jedi Master was always interposing himself between Sarad and Ichika Masudo Ichika Masudo . Despite this Sarad's footsteps continued to carry him forward. In a sense it seemed as though he was looking around Tafo, focusing beyond him on Daisy even though the man had placed himself ahead of her barring his path.

As he wished, Sarad had attempted the indirect route and he could see with the way Tafo moved that it would be difficult to just step around him. Well so be it then, he would take the most direct route in that case.

With his stride never ceasing Sarad, apathetic towards the words exchanged that would be exchanged by Master and Padawan erupted in an instant. The Force, already shifting around him would extend outwards violently. The Telekinetic Blast was referred to by some as a Force Wave. The Epicenter settled on Sarad himself whereas the blast radius extended outwards from him in all directs as a faintly metallic blue translucent field of energy. At ground zero it would easily rip up and crack the ground beneath Sarad's feet though its power diminished the further it expanded until nothing remained.

The Wave would be well within range of Tafo, its primary purpose to fling the man aside and away. As for Daisy, difficult to say where she fit into the equation. Likely it depended on how close she stood to her Master.

In a breadth the lightsaber on Sarad's belt had flown into the palm of his right hand though, igniting into a blazing phosphorescent blade that radiated with an intense amount of heat and would prove difficult to look at for those with light sensitivity.

Helping anyone...

"You're wrong."

...he replied, after all Sarad believed in self evolution through combat. According to the path he followed he could only gain a greater understanding of self by facing the opponents the force 'lead' him to. One by one, all of them.

Now, lightsaber ignited if he was no longer obstructed he advanced on Daisy.

Jakkor would sprint through the dark after imploring the Knight before him in the courtyard to give chase to the Jedi he could sense. All the man could do was hunt for the kill that would be his, and just like the sands of the dune sea he felt like he was battling for survival. Still there was a part of him that hoped no violence would be achieved today. Perhaps because on some level he didn’t want to fight, and here he was killing men that wouldn’t care if Jakkor had offered mercy but he had hoped the Jedi were much different.

Partially it didn’t matter now after he went running after the Jedi. Gaffi stick in one hand, and a silver saber In the other. It was clear that Jakkor had ran ahead of the Knight in hopes of gaining a head start. It wasn’t until shortly after he began his chase he ran into a fellow Jedi. A young woman by the looks of it, and one who had the gaul to refer to him as delayed. “Hey, who you calling delayed???” He said in annoyance towards her, raising his weapons ready to strike.

Then came the appearance of his companion, and not long after that someone who appeared homeless more than a Jedi, and when he spoke Jakkor rolled his eyes. He raised his weapons again. Tensions were already rising, and Jakkor would make one last plea to see if the Jedi could be reasonable. “Former brother and sister Jedi… I beg you leave this place or there will be violence… I have sworn an oath and will do my duty if you don’t leave now.” He spoke in his rough basic to both man and girl. “You will only get this chance once. I do not wish to kill either one of you.” He said calmly for the moment Jakkor didn’t seek deadly intent, yet he didn’t know what his opponents would do. He could only hope they would make a smart decision or face the wrath of a Tusken.

Handsome blindfolded hyper-religious whackjob
“This isn’t helping anyone.”

His Padawan summed up the entire situation quite well with that one statement. This was an utterly pointless distraction that some random nutjob decided to interfere in. The Force doesn't work like that, it didn't put people in cage matches, it never interfered with free will. It nudged probability and tweaked things around in more subtle ways, letting people deal with the cards they were dealt and hoping for the best.

If Mister Sand Sand, or whatever his name was, decided that the Force wanted him to start picking fights with whoever crossed his path, then that was their own choice. Not the Will of the Force.

"Agreed."

It really was all quite tedious, the only one here who was actually looking for a fight was the fellow in the trenchcoat, and even when it was clear the other side did not care for conflict, they decided to try inciting something. Namely with some overly dramatic blast that went everywhere, ripping through the metal floors and walls as if it were made of paper.

Thankfully, one of the biggest flaws of a dramatically over the top explosion was that the energy was spread out over a larger area. Had it been compressed and shot towards him in a condensed burst, he might have had an issue. But with all that, admittedly impressive, energy spread out, it cost him far less to avoid getting tossed around.

A raised hand, and a faint shimmering barrier appearing for the briefest of moments to cancel out the incoming force was all it took to prevent him from getting blown back.

And it seems Mister Sand Sand still wasn't deterred, lightsaber now drawn and they continued their rather stoic advance on his Padawan. Not something the Master was willing to tolerate.

"Okay, time for you to learn that no means no." He grumbled, taking a step back, ensuring that his form remained between this advancing lunatic and his student, before he reached out with the Force. The various damaged and ripped up shards of metal that Sars had torn free with their explosion were not Aaran's tool. Launching from their prone position in an attempt to pepper the Mercenary with a deadly rain of jagged durasteel.

He made sure to angle it so that none of the sharpnel would hit Daisy, even if the Merc did dodge. But Aaran wasn't done, his own saber ignited, a blade of soft golden light, brilliant and bright, but somehow less harsh on the yes erupting into existence as he moved forward to cover his Padawan. A quick series of probing jabs aimed at Sars, curious as to how the overwhelmingly confident Mercenary would deal with the multi-pronged assault.

"Padawan. He seems disinclined to listen to reason and is after you. What do you do in a situation like this?"

Even now, even in the heat of battle, he was still offering questions, his tone wasn't worried, or even strained. A quiet confidence filled him, reassuring her that regardless of what happened, he would keep her safe.

Nida winced as the ethereal grasp grew tighter in response to her comment. The inquisitor's demeanor did not change, but a brief wave of displeasure surged from beneath his menacing helmet.

Then, all at once, he relinquished his hold. Nida's body dropped to the floor in a heap, gasping for the first unimpeded inhale. Head tilting upwards, she glanced at the chair he'd dragged forward. The implication was clear.

Rising carefully to her feet, the slight Zeltron shuffled warily towards the chair, seating herself demurely against the hard plastoid alloy. She had every intention of acquiescing to the extent that her honor would allow, especially when faced with someone who'd exercised aggression within seconds of entering her cell. You didn't survive a gamut of Sith and prisons by being hardheaded and troublesome.

"You intend to torture me if I do not comply." She clarified, voice quiet and non confrontational. She couldn't quite yet peg whether or not he'd harm her simply for the thrill of it.

Nida's hands folded softly in her lap, wary eyes focusing wholly on the interrogator as he paced in front of her.

"I've only been made to wear leg and arm shackles when outside of this room. The only restraint I've worn continuously is this collar." Pink fingers lifted from her lap to brush against the band around her neck. Though it greatly hindered her ability to connect with the Force, she was still able to feel the great ebbs and flows that swelled through the prison. Familiar threads were drawing near, but there was much that could impede them along the way.

Aldric tensed up as Valery gave the verbal cue, readying himself for the next jump. At least knowing what to expect, he wasn't caught off-guard, even managing to sling out a few more shots from his blaster mid-flight. They landed, and he continued to pepper the enemies below, now with cover from both Valery and their height advantage. Without the Jedi, he'd have been shredded by now. The agent made a mental note to thank her later.

Valery's question earned a few long moments of silence, while he tried to ballpark the process in his mind, and trade fire with the troopers below, "Hard to say," Aldric admitted between shots, "Blacksite security? Probably pretty tight. Once we get in, gonna need as much cover as you can give me," He turned briefly to look at her with a faint smirk, "Think you can handle that?" Another bolt whizzed past, forcing his focus once again on the trooper responsible, exchanging a more accurate shot. "These guys just don't let up."

A sudden shower of blaster bolts came towards him, coming from another joining trooper ( Amiggie Lutih Amiggie Lutih ). Jasper quickly assumed a Shien stance, switching to the reverse grip and deflecting the incoming bolts. He tended to use Makashi more often, but Jasper was known to make use of form V when the occasion deemed in necessary, and he was particularly fond of the reverse grip's unorthodoxy. Before long, another thermal detonator had been sent his way. The padawan drew his strength into a force push, returning the explosive to it's sender. Then, making use of the lower visivility in the fog, he fired off three bolts from his crossbow, hoping to catch the trooper off guard.

"For the love of Yoda, cover me, somebody"

"Hold tight, uh, guy who's name I don't know," Jasper shouted to the other Jedi. "I'll try to keep this one off your back!"

He shifted his attention back to Amiggie, breaking out into a full sprint, taking the occasion to make use of a little bit of Force Speed to close the gap. Storm troopers were good at range, but that armor wasn't going to counter a lightsaber.

The Imperial response was swift, and no sooner had Yula cleared the wreckage did she come face to face with a column of flame troopers.

"Oh sh- pyros ahead!" Fortunately, Kyra was on her heels and taking advantage of the warning. The Force flared behind Yula as the younger Perl conjured a sturdy barrier, leaving the elder sister to hoist herself against the ceiling with the mechanical legs protruding from her back. While pressed against the ceiling, Yula cringed from the heat of the roiling flames as they skimmed the underbelly of her armor. One of the hydraulic legs reached down to snatch a trooper by the abdomen, using his body to bowl over the others in a sweep along their legs. The troopers fell like dominos, haphazardly spraying flames as they went down. Still conscious, the soldier in Yula's hold poured a concentrated stream of flame at the connection between the leg and pincers. Out of instinct and a brief moment of alarm, the pincers tightened their grip until the trooper went limp, heralded by a brief but sickening crack.

A pair of durasteel panels ripped from the wall, already warped from excessive heat corralled the remaining troopers, tightening around them telekinetically like a rigid durasteel bow.

This would give Kyra an opening to take out the second wave—hopefully before they could start belching flames.

The scuffle had cost Yula two of her carefully crafted robotic legs—one warped along its length from the heat, and the other nonfunctional thanks to the ministrations of the flame trooper she'd grabbed. Neither leg could be retracted it their current state, so Yula set to work removing them with her lightsaber. Even misshapen, it would still take some effort to burn the plasma blade through the base of each leg.

"Grab one of their helmets and check the comm. If our guys haven't reached the tower yet, can at least get a better idea of whatever's going on." The first leg had dropped off, clunking unceremoniously to the ground. As Yula worked on the second one, a message flashed across her HUD

:: Master Tafo, Yula, I have Nida's location and the code to her cell. Location attached. I'm going to retrieve her. ::

Unexpected, but certainly not unwelcome- she'd be buying Iris a drink later if all went well. The cybernetic leg with a deceased flame trooper stuck in its grasp fell away, Yula's efforts aided by a sudden surge in adrenaline at receiving such coveted info.

Thirdas’ timing was good, having dispatched the snipers sent his way.

"Think we have her location- transmitting details. This could be a trap, so move cautiously. Imperials may be bastards, but they ain’t dumb." Iris' message would be forwarded to both Kyra and Thirdas.

Turning her attention towards the corpse twined with the severed robotic leg, Yula placed her hands on either side of the man's helmet.

"Sorry bout that…" She muttered, trawling the electrical components of the HUD for a facility map. "Was either you or m-" Yula shuddered, eyes rolling into the back of her head as the data for the map flowed along the electrical current she guided through the Force. The information flowed from the dead trooper's helmet, through her fingers, feeding directly into her brain which was neurally integrated into her HUD. Swallowing down the nausea from using technopathy at such a personal level, Yula stepped back, blinking a holomap into existence. Overlaid with Iris's data, it confirmed that Nida's location was within the cell block.

"We have her location."

They were moving again, lancing straight to the heart of their operation. Once they arrived, they'd find the cell block curtained off by a blast door.

"Ah, we are expected." Yula's head tilted to the side, flipping through her range of scanners in an attempt to see who's be waiting beyond the door but the durasteel was too thick for a clear read. "Think you can punch your way through this one, Colonel?"

"Big words for a little man."

She threw back at him, amidst exchanging blows, both lightsaber and verbal, as they locked in a vicious dance across the corridor. Sahar fought with fury and cold, calculated malice, viciously pushing forward and striking at Rakaan with hard, heavy blows and strikes designed to throw Rakaan further back and put him on the defensive.

"The only person you're lying to is yourself; you're no hero; you never were."

Who was he saving? Himself? There was nothing there but a hollow man torn by the pain of being truly lost in all facets, without direction, purpose or reason. This whole Jedi thing was but a fad; sooner or later, he'd show his authentic self to be little better than the ones he labelled evil.

"And you'll prove it in time, and you'll come right back to me; it's up to you if that's alive or dead, I don't care how."

Sahar knew what she was doing all too well. She moved to throw an overhead strike before following up with a feigned slash, redirecting it to the left and cutting open a steam pipe, blowing out boiling hot steam from it's gash in the direction of Rakaan as a means to blind him and gain the initiative temporarily.

"Have some humility first."
