- Energy Neutralizer - The Daeva Combat Bodysuit maintains a fairly robust network of defenses against energy weapons, featuring energized Transparent Shield Weave, armorweave, energy sinks, Integrum, and other protective systems. It is a powerful defensive platform for the most elegant and graceful warriors of the Kainate.
- Forceful Impact - While not immune, the Daeva Combat Bodysuit offers a surprising degree of mitigation against kinetic threats, due to a number of protective measures.
- Scream of Defiance - The Daeva's integrated sound dampening overlay and shield weave affords the armor a reliable capacity to dampen incoming fire from most types of sonic weaponry, thereby protecting the wearer and her internal organs from the deleterious effects of these assaults.
- Storm Dancer - A highly robust design, the Daeva Combat Bodysuit is hardened against Ion and EMP-based assaults, allowing the bodysuit to maintain a degree of reliability under conditions of interference which might otherwise disable much of its electronics.
- Camouflage - The Daeva features a camouflage system which primarily functions to distort the bodysuit's visual profile via camouflage, making it that much more difficult for an enemy to acquire the wearer as a target.
- Bone Chill - The Daeva's performance in defending its wearer from weaponized cold leaves much to be desired. While its protection is better than nothing, the wearer is better off depending on an external system to defend against this class of weapon.
- Acerbic Affliction - Unfortunately, acid weapons are very effective at eating through the protective material to harm the wearer directly, potentially inflicting a host of dangerous effects.
- Mechanical Mutation - While lacking some of the more demanding systems present in most First United Astral Engineering armor models, the Daeva still has a degree of advanced technology and automation. A skilled practitioner of Mechu-deru could feasibly disable these systems and put the wearer at a disadvantage, provided that they have a clear line of sight to the bodysuit.
- Inflamed - The Daeva Combat Bodysuit provides less than adequate protection against heat and fire-based weapons. Unfortunately, this is a weakness that must be managed or accounted for, especially given the ubiquity of flamethrower weapons in many types of gauntlets.
- Neck Piece - The neck piece houses sensitive electronics, defensive projectors, targeting assistance, sensors, and other support systems. While resilient, damage to this part could compromise these functions, leaving the wearer deprived of head protection, sensors, and other utility functions.
- Weaponized Radiation - While the Daeva Combat Bodysuit is capable of protecting its wearer from background radiation in the environment, it does a poor job in protecting its wearer from weaponized radiation, due to it being far more concentrated than radiation in an environment or a vacuum.
Designed by First United Astral Engineering, the Daeva Combat Bodysuit was crafted with elegance, lethality, ease of movement, and function in mind, sacrificing none in favor of the other. In that regard, the Daeva represents the company's first application of the FAE/A-07 Energized Neck Piece and Transparent Shield Weave in a personal protective bodysuit design. These technologies are used to protect "exposed" areas of the wearer's body in a transparent, nigh-invisible weave for the case of the latter and a reactive energy shield in the case of the former. As such, the Daeva has no truly unprotected areas in spite of its appearance, offering the wearer the boon of maintaining elegance and lethality, without sacrificing protection.
All in all, the Daeva Combat Bodysuit is hoped to represent a successful and productive application of these new technologies, so that the concept might be matured and expanded upon.
