OBJECTIVE III

TimHzFP.png

As the Imperial ground forces are taking their attack on Brosi, the Imperial navy has diverted their might towards Florrum, attempting to push through and into the heart of the separated Sith vassal state, eyeing the prize the Holy Worlds and the Corporate sector that were now coveted by the invading forces of the Thandon Star Cluster.

Specifically, the invaders desire to establish permanent control over the hypergate that looms within the Florrum system. This ancient device, which offers connection between the Sith vassal state to their homespace (on the other side of the galaxy), offers continued support, reinforcement and trade caravans to reinforce the occupation of Thandon which inhabits two star sectors encompassing a multitude of planets and their respective systems.

By cutting off the ties between the Sith vassal state to their Empire will result in an Imperial victory. Failure will invite the catastrophe that only those certain masters of the dark side can bring back to bear upon this nascent Imperial Confederation..

As Imperial ground forces press their attack on Brosi, the Sith Order recognizes the widening shape of the campaign. Imperial naval elements divert their strength toward the Florrum system, pushing into the space of the separated Sith vassal state in an attempt to bypass Brosi rather than resolve the fighting there. To Sith commanders, the movement signals an effort to fracture the conflict and isolate Thandon from the wider Empire.

The focus of that push is the hypergate within the Florrum system. Sith forces understand its importance immediately. Control of the structure determines whether reinforcements, supply, and trade continue to flow from Sith homespace or are cut off entirely. In response, Sith fleets and allied assets contest the approaches through interception, rapid starfighter engagements, and close-range boarding actions. The fighting around the gate remains fluid and unresolved, but its outcome will decide whether the invasion stays contained or forces the Sith Order to answer with its full strength.

Karl watched as the stars flew by the viewport, his vessel tearing into reality once more.

The INV Aternus was the first to arrive, but one by one, his fleet emerged around him, forcing themselves back into existence; hyperspace shedding from their hulls like a burning mist. Karl watched as they appeared on his tactical display, and without command, their engines burned bright as they moved into position. He had trained his commanders well enough; a faint smile crept across his face as they all moved into a methodical pattern. Then, with a refresh of his tactical display, it appeared: Hypergate Florrum.

The ancient hypergate loomed ahead, suspended in the void. For centuries, it had served as a silent artery between the territories of the Sith; it was a direct path, no, a vein, to the core of the Sith worlds and their capital of Jutrand. If it was left untouched as it had been during the first invasion of the Thandaon Nebulae, it would pulse with reinforcements. So, the Confederation would claim the hypergate, and it would become a chokehold.

The Exarch stood unmoving on the center dias of the Aternus, his tactical display around him. His fleet fanned outward. His star destroyers moved to the front of the pack, the Celox frigates interspersed between them, the Lianna corvettes moved into positions where their lighter firepower could be used to screen more effectively, and at the back stood the behemoths, the Maiden and Knight, in an arrow formation with the Aternus tucked safely between them. His fleet's weapons began to power up. If the first invasion was any indication, the Sith fleets could be lurking anywhere, hiding in places his sensors could not read.

"Commanders, continue to establish formation. I want all squadrons deployed, orders to follow." Karl's voice bellowed through his fleet's universal communication system. "Lock down all approaches and begin using the Bloodhound to scan for hidden vessels. Begin data exchange through the engagement network. Fingers on triggers, but do not fire until my order."

Acknowledgments rippled through the task force in tight, clipped bursts. The void around the hypergate slowly filled with Imperial presence, each vessel a silent declaration of intent. This ground, this space, was no longer uncontested. Karl's eyes remained fixed on the gate as the final readiness reports came in. Admirals Rakel and Zonill would arrive soon, along with the Governor, Visconti, their forces folding into the net he was already shaping. Supreme Commander Sularen would follow, bearing the weight of final authority and inevitable escalation.

Until then, the Exarch would hold the threshold.

BEHOLD.

The Armada of the Qhan of Qhans emerges from hyper space, swollen with captured ships from the shattered Galactic Empire.

Upon the left and right flanks amass Hapan battle groups, led by proud Duchas of the court. But in the middle are the smoldering tide of the Vahlans, those Empire-Slayers and Throne-Breakers who hunger for gold and glory. Their hulls are dotted with Vagaari living shield blisters, the shapes of withering figures languishing within those of Mawite prisoners. Captured from St. Thomas Barran St. Thomas Barran at the battles of Chandrila and Coruscant.

Now, with the Empire laid low, the Horde hath turned its eyes back upon the worlds of the Sith to honor certain allegiances. For the sake of the blood of Marr, Qhan Gerra shall give battle to the Imperial Confederation.

Woe to those who oppose him.

FLEET ADMIRAL VORIN ZONILL
OBJECTIVE III: RAISE THE FLAG!
FLORRUM HYPERGATE

"Exiting hyperspace in 3...2..1...NOW!"

Fleet Admiral Vorin Zonill's task force came out of hyperspace without much fanfare, parking itself right next to the forces of Exarch Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss . As he surveyed what would become the battlefield form the bridge of the MIN Collateral Star, his eyes drifted toward the massive structure directly in front of his fleet:

The Florrum Hypergate!

Zonill understood both its strategic and symbolic importance, as it linked the Sith in the Thandon Star Cluster with those closer to the Galactic Core. Disabling or destroying it would prove to be a useful boon for the Imperial Confederation, effectively cutting off the Sith from their allies and reinforcements so far away. Of course, Zonill doubted that the Sith would let the hypergate go without one hell of a fight.

Unfortunately for them, Zonill was more than willing to throw down this time!

Every since their defeat, the Imperial Confederation had spent months investing in "anti-force" technologies and updated starships designs. hoping that what they created would give them the edge against their foes in this upcoming battle. In addition to the Collateral Star, which had been extensively refitted for this very engagement, Zonill had brought with him a plethora of new starship designs with him: the MIN Gundark, a highly experimental armored cruiser, three 3 Disruptor-class Ion Cannon Carriers, which possessed planetary ion cannons powerful enough to disable Star Destroyer sized vessels, four 4 Impressor-class Acclamators, a highly modified and dangerous variant of an ancient starship class, the MIN Fool's Errand, a light carrier with an experimental paint scheme, six SPHA-T Corvettes, each armed with its namesake weapon, and a single CR90-EE Corvette, which Zonill was confident nothing the enemy had could catch.

It was a very different sort of fleet than what Zonill would have commanded several months prior, but with luck, it would help him and his allies defeat the Sith threat once and for all.

"Admiral Zonill, sir, we've got an incoming transmission from the Exarch", Zonill's subordinate told him as sensors flashed all along the bridge of the Collateral Star.

"Understood, Captain, patch it through immediately".

Commanders, continue to establish formation. I want all squadrons deployed, orders to follow. Lock down all approaches and begin using the Bloodhound to scan for hidden vessels. Begin data exchange through the engagement network. Fingers on triggers, but do not fire until my order."

"Acknowledged, Exarch, we'll get it done", Zonill said with just the slightest bit of hesitation. With the rank that he held, Zonill was used to being the one in charge of the mission, calling the shots and doing whatever he believed to be best. Yet today, that honor went to the Exarch, and there wasn't a single thing Zonill could do about it. Still, he wasn't one to break the chain of command, and he would follow the Exarch to his death if that was what was required of him.

Still, Zonill had plenty of his own preparations to make.

"Captain, have the "Bloodhound" begin scanning for any targets within our immediate vicinity. I do NOT want a repeat of what happened last time to happen again under any circumstances. Deploy 5 squadrons of Hyper-Jammers and 10 squadrons of TIE Vultures to the immediate space in front of us, along with the MIN Pathfinder, and have them scout the battlefield for any cloaked vessels, mines or other space borne hazards. If its there, I want to know about it. The rest of our squadrons are to be deployed at the discretion of their respective ship commanders but to be held back until further notice is given."

"Understood, sir, we'll get on it right away", Sellferr acknowledged.

"And one more thing, Captain. Have the Gundark, the Buccaneer, the Horizon Seeker, and the Valiant begin deploying mines in and around our position, with enough room and a slim corridor to escape through should we need it. As I said before, if its out there than I want to know about it, and what better a warning system than to see our foes blow themselves up trying to get to us in the first place? Not to mention that this will help us from getting ambushed."

"I'll see that they do, sir. Do you have a preference on ordinance type?"

Zonill thought for a moment.

"Have them deploy a mixture of Concussion Mines and Firecracker Mines. It's most likely that the enemy's starfighters will seek to exploit the gaps in our defenses, and we can have our ships activate their Gravity Well Projectors to prevent the enemy capital ships from trying to jump in behind us. Are those projectors warmed up yet, Captain?'

"Not yet sir, they'll need at least a few more minutes".

"Understood, Captain. You have your orders, let's see to it that the rest our my forces have theirs."

With that, Zonill's fleet began to carry out the orders it had been given, with 200 TIE Vultures, 20 Hyper-Jammers and the Pathfinder actively searching the battlefield for signs of the Sith fleet or defenses. The Collateral Star joined in as well, scanning around with its Magnetic Targeting Array as the Gundark and the Disruptors began laying a mine screen around the rest of Zonill's assembled ships.

Unlike last time, Zonill was confident that the Sith wouldn't be able to hold any surprises for him...

THE CROW FLEET

Wg72qr3.png
The tension was palpable, as the final preperations were being made, the Gluttoneria began to activate its cloaking device as it slowly lumbered into its position above the forward leaning rombus pattern the remaining capital ships had positioned themselves in, a formation which allowed the three Tyrants in the form of the INV Veni, INV Vidi, and INV Vici to take the front and the flanks, while the two Claymore carriers would form up the center and the rear of the formation. The small Javelin Strike Corvettes would remain in pairs, flanking each Claymore in order to act as rapid response and as a deterrent to bomber squadrons or the likes thereof.

The final checks were being done, a final observation aboard the Gluttoneria had to make sure that its repairs after the battle of Atrisia had been concluded without a hitch, a fact which was confirmed when the engineers contacted the bridge from the cooling bays for the massive Apollyons, when later the other engineering teams also reported their findings and their approval on each of their sections. The Gluttoneria was back in peak condition and as such, the most powerful vessel within the Imperial Confederation was ready to once again display her might to those foolish enough to cross her path, to once again show those foolish enough to stand in the Imperial Confederation's way that a true apex predator was among the ships lurking in the vastness of space.

Like the hungry maw opened and prone to snap shut, the formation of the 'visible' ships held firm as they slowly arrived near the Hypergate in the Florrum system, taking up the left wing next to Karl Von Strauss Karl Von Strauss ' impressive fleet, though maintaining enough distance to retain a loose formation between the fleets and to avoid being clustered into a too compact and too tight overall formation between the respective fleets.

However, a gasp rippled through the open intercomms, reaching all the way to the primary bridge of the Gluttoneria, as sensors picked up the arrival of a fleet with transponder codes that did not follow the usual pattern the Imperial Confederation had known Sith vessels to use, but perhaps the core reason as to why the mouths of so many of the commanding officers were agape, why air seemed to rush into each of these hardened veterans' lunges, was the sigh upon the outer layers of many of those ships, a brutal and cruel display of dominance over others.

Yet a calm and collective sigh could be heard in response coming from the Gluttoneria over the secure channel. "This is a display of abject cruelty...but it is not without merrit, for it shows us what lengths the enemy will go through and how much they underestimate the discipline and strength of character you all have. They think we are but the tools of a broken and fractured government...now it is up to us, to show them exactly what an attack by a murder of crows feels like, how ruthless and unrelenting we can be when we have been allowed to go on the hunt."

With the holographic display in front of her also denoting that Fleet-Admiral Zonnill had also arrived on scene, the governor placed her hands on the panels in front of her, moving the holographic symbols and images of each prepared fleet which had already arrived on the massive tableau which depicted the Imperial fleet and added the unknown vessels to the overview. "INV Veni, INV Vidi, INV Vici, prime your missile tubes, I want you all to have a full volley of concussion missiles ready if the enemy makes any move which could warrant unleashing hell upon them. For now maintain positions and remain vigilant, Open fire upon my command, hold yourself steady until then."

Turning towards her communication officer, Amalia opened a secure line to all present flagships in service of the Imperial Confederation. "The Crow Fleet is ready, we will proceed to lay down a curtain of concussion missiles to deter the enemy from moving forwards with their capital ships. For the Imperial Confederation, for OUR future."

Those words were a bit twisted, as not all knew whose future Amalia precisely deemed to considered hers to begin with, but still...she waited, holding her breath as the Gluttoneria slowly lumbered over the rombus formation of her Crow Fleet, a soft, nearly invisible grin appearing on her face. "Let's see what else the Sith will bring forth..."

Like the Corpse Lord himself, Darth Nefaron's fleet was entirely deceptive.

From cruisers seemingly pulled from the annals of history to frigates whose deceptive size hid a vast armament.

This was but the first outing. In time, the armada born of Anoat would blacken the sky of every world.

From the bridge of the Damnation, Darth Nefaron watched as his ships moved into a defensive formation, linking up with the vast pirate armada of Hasuras Na-Gerra Hasuras Na-Gerra , the Warlord who had once plunged Anoat's surface into turmoil, now allied himself to the Terror Lord for the sake of payment and the promise of new worlds to plunder. Nefaron, of course, asked for but one thing from his newest ally, one rather simple request for a Sith Lord.

Slaves. An endless quantity to feed Anoat and the formation of his vast legion.

No doubt more would be collected this day as the Sith once again showed the false-Imperials that there is but one Empire, and it will be forever dominated by the Sith. Of course, they did have to win the battle ahead first, but Nefaron had few doubts now that Lady A'Mia's ally, Elmindra Xitaar Elmindra Xitaar , had come with her own armada in tow. Of course, Nefaorn had little love for a servant of the false King of Korriban, but there was no need for another bout of infighting that the Sith were so well known for this day. This Admiral would make for a fine ally this day, but more importantly, it gave the Terror Lordthe opportunity to examine the tactics of one so trusted by the Sith of Korriban as to lead their fleets.

"Lord, the Imperial fleet is forming up. While exact estimates are unclear, it appears they have brought a vast quantity of fighters that far exceed our own."

Nefaron quietly chuckled. From his view on the bridge, the Imperial fleet appeared as magnificent as the days of Palpatine's Empire, Star Destroyers, and sleek TIE fighters that would smash into their enemy with overwhelming numbers and firepower. But the Confederation did not face upstart rebels; they faced Sith. Their numbers and firepower were no match for the power of the Dark Side, an element that was to prove the deciding factor in the battle to come if Nefaron had his way. Tapping a few commands into the console before him, the Corpse Lord projected himself to his allies, his horrid face hidden beneath his black cloak.

"It seems these Imperials are rather determined to wipe us out. They have certainly brought enough firepower to do so."

Once more, Nefaron glanced out the viewport toward the Imperial fleet, but he continued to speak.

"We must lure them in. The Dark Side is our greatest advantage; the closer they come, the easier we will be able to cloud their judgment, inspire terror in their starfighter pilots and rank and file. What use will their training be when the cold touch of death is all that lingers on their minds?"

He needed no answer, for he knew between the three Sith the amount of terror they could inspire would be more than sufficient to carry the day.

"I am holding my fighters back to defend my command ships. Once their capital ships enter the fray, my frigates will begin screening for fighters and boarding those unfortunate enough to become disabled. My cruisers' missile batteries will be more than sufficient to deal with any of their capital ships that enter my sector. Oh, and do remember, Lord Gerra, you will be well paid for any prisoners that you have for me after the battle."

The aggressive, angular frame of the Nemesis-class Eliminator-Starfighter was backlit by the searing blue-white radiance of the massive Florrum hypergate looming in the distance. Inside the cockpit, Seela Leini studied the electroscopes with a focused, wide-eyed gaze as sensor data from other ships linked to the Unified Engagement Network flowed into her awareness through the Ghost Link. She had nestled her starfighter within a small debris cluster far above the main plane of the engagement, and through her scopes was observing the movements of both friendly and enemy starfighter formations as they shot forth from their hangar bays into the void of space.

The Nemesis-class Eliminator-Starfighter was a sniper in the form of a snub-fighter. Thus, Seela had been tasked with overwatch duties, encompassing area denial, the elimination of high-value targets, and morale degradation. As part of that, she would need to remain unseen, or at the very least, far enough away that she could vanish before the Imperials could make an attempt at engaging her.

With sensor data from the Sith fleet feeding into her systems readout via the engagement network, Seela was able to keep her craft’s active sensors turned off, so as to prevent the Imperials from picking her out via the radiation generated from her scanners. In turn, she pointed her electroscopes in the direction of the Imperials’ own radiation signatures, of which there were many.

As a result, it wasn't long before Seela had a pair of Hyper-Jammers ( Ronhar Tane Ronhar Tane ) locked inside her electroscope display, which were among the enemy units generating the strongest and most complex radiation signatures. By their electronic footprint alone, she knew that they were vital assets, likely electronic warfare or early warning craft equipped with powerful sensors.

Eliminating just one of them had the potential to tear a meaningful hole in the Imperial sensor net.

Thus, Seela honed in her reticule, the crosshairs settling over the first Hyper-Jammer as her eyes scanned for the location of the other. She held her breath unconsciously, then with a decisive mental command, she fired.

A pair of hyper-ionized magenta-hued particle bolts lanced forth from her craft’s laser cannons one after the other, racing through the void at luminal velocity in an attempt to destroy the two Hyper-Jammers from afar!

Unto the Breach shone like a fiery jewel as it transitioned from hyperspace to realspace. Ahead of Calin Rakel sat his target, floating amidst the darkness of space, the hypergate at Florrum.

"Battle stations are a go, sir, all hands are waiting your command," an aide to his right stated.

"Good. I want probe droids deployed in a wide array from our fleet into the system. The Sith wanted to hide last time; let's make sure they don't get that opportunity again."

Subtle vibrations emanated beneath his feet as hundreds of probe droids launched from his ships and shotgunned out into the void, their scanners open and probing all around them, waiting for hidden ships.

"Aye aye, sir," the aide said as he turned away.

"Spool up all weapons, I want everything running hot," Calin said to his weapons crew. He turned toward the other side of the bridge, which housed defensive officers and maintenance crew, "I want deflectors shields at maximum and scanners on a wide area search, let's find the Sith fleet if it exists."

First Brosi, now Florrum.

Thinking of Brosi left a sour taste in his mouth. He could have won if they had stayed on their last attack over Brosi. The Sith were cowards. For all their talk of power and the force, all they did was hide and run. His fleet was amidst them before the end, ready to deal damage that would have left them reeling for years, yet he had to retreat. Now here he was again, waiting for the inevitable.

Calin's mouth curled upwards in a snarl. TIC forces had withdrawn at the first sign of a good struggle. Calin was ready to plunge his ship point-first into the Sith and take them with him if it called for it, yet he had to leave.

Not this time. This time, they would leave the Sith fleet broken upon this system, floating wreckage that could be claimed by whatever faction decided it was worth it to comb through the debris of these naysayers.

"All ahead full," Calin said, "Let's bring this world into compliance. Launch fighter squadrons and send secure transmissions to the rest of TIC forces in the area and let them know we're ready."

Around his flagship, parts of the 7th fleet's engines roared to life, boosting them closer to the hypergate and the Sith that no doubt waited in the shadows like the cowards they were. Squadrons of TIC fighters swarmed like angry bees around his fleet, preparing defensive screening for incoming enemy fighters and missiles.

"So it begins."

Loki's are in packs of 2s and 3s roaming between the fleet. Fighter Squadrons are launched and are buzzing around the fleet as probe droids range far and wide looking for the Sith.

[/spoiler]

Florrum and its precious Hyper Gate were not alone in the black void of space. Its orbit was replete with warships. Admiral Elmindra Xitaar, First Lord to the King of Korriban, stood upon the command deck of The Omen, hands clasped behind her back, large crimson eyes fixed on the viewport as the Sith Holy Worlds prepared once more to be tested.

Despite their crushing defeat, the Imperial Confederation was returning to the Holy Worlds to throw themselves against the might of the Sith Order once again, and Elmindra intended to ensure it would be the last time. Months of licking wounds and counting losses had apparently not dulled their appetite for Brosi and Florrum, nor their hunger for the Hyper Gate that linked the sector to the Core.

Most of Korriban's fleet formed around Florrum in a layered crescent. Interdictor-class vessels—some Sith-forged, others bearing the austere lines of Commonwealth engineering—sat deep within the formation with gravity well projectors primed. Around them, strike frigates and Commonwealth corvettes formed a living bulwark, overlapping fields of fire designed to shred anything that dared rush the heart of the formation.

Beyond Korriban's core formation, allied fleets already claimed their positions. Darth Nefaron Darth Nefaron 's presence lingered like a bruise in the Force, his influence heavy even at a distance; with him came the Blazing Chains, Hasuras Na-Gerra Hasuras Na-Gerra 's immense pirate armada, eager for the promise of Imperial captives.

Elmindra drew in a slow breath and reached out. The Force answered as it always did—eager, violent, intimate. She cast her will outward, threading it through command decks, gunnery pits, fighter bays, and engine rooms. Minds opened beneath her touch, some willingly, others dragged into alignment by sheer inevitability. Fear, anticipation, aggression—she took them all and wove them together.

Gunners felt when to fire. Pilots knew when to break and when to commit. Captains tasted her expectations like iron on their tongues. Among them, she felt a familiar presence—sharp, focused, newly burdened with command. Captain Ufsa'zekhn'narun Ufsa'zekhn'narun held his section of the line with admirable control, his thoughts precise and unflinching. She allowed herself no pride, only acknowledgment. This was his opportunity to shine... or be snuffed out.

Contacts bloomed like a spreading infection as hyperspace delivered her targets. Imperial silhouettes tore into realspace—orderly, confident, and fatally mistaken. Elmindra felt their momentum in the Force, their expectation, their doubts and their fears.

She smiled, but it did not reach her eyes. At least they came prepared for a good fight. Long fingers tipped with thick claw-like obsidian nails rose elegantly as if to conduct the symphony of violence.

"Activate gravity wells," she commanded, her voice calm, precise, and absolute.

Her interdictors answered as one, and an invisible pressure settled over the battlefield, constricting space with the inevitable shackle of gravity.

"Incoming transsssmission from the Damnation," her Rajakzânkut comms officer rasped. All that was required was a minute nod and a moment later a holo-projection of the Corpse Lord flickered to life before her, laying out his plan and his suggestion for how they might proceed as a united front. She found herself nodding in agreement. It was a sound plan. If any one of them pushed forward, they would likely be overwhelmed by the Imperials superior numbers and heavy artillery.

"Agreed," she responded, adding her own projection to the communication.

"My gravity wells will hold them for the time being. If they desire the Hyper Gate, they will have no choice but to approach our blockade and break against it." Her hand closed into a fist.

She did not mention the reserve fleet she had standing by and prepared to jump to their location at her command, just in case the Imperials had some way of listening in on their transmissions.

"Though their numbers should not be underestimated, do not be swayed by their posturing and firepower. They are disorganized and over-confident, and they do not understand the Dark Side."

Even as she spoke, she could feel the presence of her Jen'Quazoi—creatures made from the very weave and weft of the Dark Side—writhing in bowls of her command vessels, eager to be unleashed, to spread, to feed.

"Captain Azekh." She switched to the Korriban fleet's private channel. "Deploy all fighter squadrons, but maintain defensive formation. Arm your vessels and prepare to engage."

Her own vessels followed the same order. The Commonwealth ships remained together, Wolfpack Red orbiting the Sondheimer. Squadrons of interceptors, heavy fighters and bombers swarmed from heavy cruisers to defend the command vessels while they primed their weapons.

IMPERIAL CONFEDERATION
FLORRUM,
OUTER RIM TERRITORIES
TimHzFP.png

The INV Sularen's Revenge reverted to real space followed by the six other warships that made up the personal command of Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen known as Wraith Squadron. Already the rest of the Imperial Fleet had made their arrival and were currently holding their position, awaiting Sularen's orders on how to proceed. The Sith on the other hand had positioned themselves defensively in front of the Florrum hypergate waiting for their Imperial opponents to make the first move.

As his fleet positioned itself at the middle of the Imperial formation, Sularen remained calmly seated on the command chair within the bridge of his flagship his gaze fixated small silhouettes of the Sith Warships at the other side of the battlefield. Despite maintaining a calm demeanor, Sularen still felt the heavy weight of responsibility that laid on his shoulder. A victory here would confirm the Confederation's status as an emerging Imperial powerhouse that could challenge the Sith but defeat would only confirm the Sith's supremacy over Imperialism, leaving the Confederation vulnerable to retaliation and undermining their attempts to revitalize Imperialism across the galaxy.

Fortunately, the Confederation had learned from their mistakes during their previous failed campaign against the Sith. They were aware of the Sith's overreliance on their force abilities and unnatural constructs. Without them, the Imperials would have steamrolled them when they first attacked Brosi and now even with them they would find an adversary who was prepared to overcome those challenges presented by them and steamroll over the Sith in spit of their advantage.

"The enemy fleet has raised an interdiction field." one of the officers stated. Sularen smirked as he could already feel the arrogance and overconfidence of the Sith as they sought to force the Imperials into an engagement they could not retreat from. "Good. Atleast we know they're serious about this" He then proceeded to press a button on the armrest of his command chair which opened a secure channel with the other fleet commanders. "Exarch von Strauss, Governor Visconti, Admirals Zonill and Rakel. This is Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen here, hold your positions and maintain a tight unified formation." he instructed.

"The Sith expect us to throw ourselves at them and think that we're the same disorganized rabble they beat at Brosi months ago. We must stay coordinated and maintain a unified front across the entire Armada. Do not make unnecessary risks or overextend our forces and if you require assistance do not hesitate to ask for it from your fellow fleet commanders. Our opponent is counting on breaking our cohesion to destroy us and they will most likely resort to using battle mediation to disrupt our coordination. This battle is extremely crucial in securing the future of the Confederation and we cannot afford making any mistake. So let's not disappoint the billions of citizens we've pledged to protect against the Sith menace"

Sularen then proceeded to press another button, muting himself on the secure channel with the other fleet commanders before turning towards the officers on his bridge and giving them further instructions. "Deploy the first wave of all of our small craft and maintain a defensive screen around the fleet. But do not move to engage first." he further instructed. While he did know that the Imperial Fleet needed to attack, he wanted to attack from a position of strength and sometimes that required patience and cold calculations.

With his opening moves now completed, now all he needed to do was to simply see how his opponent would respond.

  • Sularen's Fleet arrives at Florrum and positions itself at the center of the larger Imperial formation.
  • Sularen orders the other Imperial Fleet Commanders to hold their positions and maintain a tight formation.
  • Half of Wraith Squadron's starfighter compliment is deployed and they begin forming a defensive screen alongside the small craft that were not carried in the hangars of the Imperial warships.
