Location: 6 hours at class 1.0 from Hefi near a rearming base.
Objective: steal munitions, destroy base
Allies: Isidor Justeene Isidor Justeene Dispara other pirates
Enemies: PVE station, 2 corvettes and some fighters

Dryshan Sanberge raced ahead of the pack, his chainblade roaring and spraying viscera onto the walls. This was the life, a rich pirate sending him into slaughter to steal munitions. He rolled a grenade though the door, there was a loud bang and smoke poured through the hatchway, his raider filtered through and opened fire on the remains defenders "we are making progress, no buckets here captain, just some idiots that work for them"

He rounded a corner and was taken aback by the sudden appearance of Eris Vexx Eris Vexx standing in front of him and asking for parley, a very interesting development. "A good decision" smiled the Amonid as he placed a holo on the floor. Immediately the beautiful form of Cass Gemini, sat at her command chair appeared.

"Well this is a surprise Sanberge, what do we have here" and she laughed, standing up. She addressed Vexx through the holo "I am Captain Cass Gemini of the Kraken Coaltion, this station is now under our control, I grant your request of Parley, I hope you have something interesting to say." It was clear that the pirate Cass, even through the holo was a woman that had confidence and enjoyed her work, a slight smirk played on her lips as she spoke to Vexx, her piercing eye stared directly at the unknown.

In space, the battle was going exceptionally well, the enemy were in tatters and the station defences were being weakened. She briefly silenced the holo to Vexx and addressed Isidor Justeene Isidor Justeene . "I am detecting the main reactor here," she sent over a digital map overlay, "think this might be a good spot to hit on our way out? You up for that job? I know how much you love blowing things up." She laughed hard as she thought back to his deeds on Cantonica. She took a swig of her rum and returned to the feed from Vexx.

Jenn blinked, a fleeting moment of utter and absolute confusion keeping her rooted in place it finally clicked. Regeneration was one thing- what the mutt did with her wrist rocket was enough for her to realize that this was a Force User. ''Stars, I hate these guys'', grumbled the Nite Owl to herself as she watched the ice being turned against her and her associate. Throwing herself down to avoid the danger, she ran for cover as soon as she could safely get back to her feet in order to regroup with Sam. Just as she was about to tell her that shooting the damn thing was about as effective as pissing in a river, someone reached out to her through her comm-link... and she immediately wished she'd remembered to close her comms to all incoming requests before getting out of their store. ''Someone's raising me on the comms'', explained the warrior to her friend. ''Give me a minute to deal with it.'

''Solid copy. My friend has a pair of blasters- I've got a heavy blaster and my revolver. Wrist rocket already fired, flamethrower primed and ready.'' They were in the middle of battle, and so Jenn abandoned her irritation towards the girl, professional through and through. After all, they had a job to do.... and the suddent arrival of an eager vod was very much welcome. ''Look alive, Krayt. We've got someone holding his attention- here's your chance for a plan.''

The girl had best hope it was a good one.

Another.

Xyoz's gaze pulled towards Siv Krayt Siv Krayt as the Mandalorian slammed her shield. All the while more blaster fire was being shot at him. How many had to show up to deal with him of all people? Was it just poor luck on his part? Punishment for not paying attention, more likely. But where he'd just take the shots before, he was moving. His body twisted and turned, letting the various shots that were sent his way either pass him by or graze him in places that weren't as important.

The element of surprise on his regeneration was gone. And the sniper seemed to be aware enough that crippling him would be their best avenue. It didn't matter if he could heal a wound if he couldn't move while he was healing. At least Sam Sheridan Sam Sheridan and Jenn Kryze Jenn Kryze went for cover, leaving him only with the shield wielding warrior and the distant sniper. His eyes flicked over as another blue bolt from the charric was sent his way. His hand raised, and the earth followed shortly after.

A barrier of rock and dirt ripped through the ground, cutting off line of sight between him and Gwyneira Vizsla Gwyneira Vizsla . Then his gaze shifted to the warrior that so badly wanted his attention.

"Very well."

Gwyneira sighed, both at her missed shot and at Jenn's lack of non-lethal weapons. Typical Jenn.

"Haar'chak, I take it your pistols don't have stun options? Fine..."

She stood up, leaving her Devastating Chill and picking up her Distant Chill DC-01. She ran along the flat rooftop, trying to see their opponent from another angle. A Force user. This would be very difficult...

"It's obvious we can't kill him, not when he survived a Charric to the brain. We need to subdue him, capture him and immobilize him. With a lack of stun weapons or even cables, we'll need this done brute forced. Literally knock him unconscious."

The sounds of the newcomer, the shield bearer, fighting the pirate rang out, "Jenn, you and that newcomer excel in melee combat. Jenn, you must know some martial art manuver to knock someone out. Your friend and I could both do a good job distracting him, both being more missile oriented. How does that sound?"

Gwyneira lowered her smaller sniper rifle as she struggled to see the monster again. Gritting her teeth, she flung her rifle over her back and leapt off the building, switching on her jet boots before reaching the bottom to stop her momentum. She was quite wobbly landing, unused to using those boots. She pulled her rifle out again and darted to Jenn and the other, holding her rifle at the ready.

Siv Krayt
Objective: Defend Hefi

Siv locked eyes with the Shistavanen, seeing eyes full of hate and rage. She also had noted his ability to regenerate after being shot... Well, that made her beskad semi-useless. She would pull her shield up as that wall of stone and dirt rose, cutting her off from her would-be allies. She had his attention alright, and for the foreseeable future, it would just be him and her.
"Very well."
Those words only made her grin behind her visor, this would be a true fight. Two opponents. One goal. Kill the other. It was something she lived every day as she clashed with champions in the pits, and she knew she was good at it. It would be the first time she faced a foe with powers such as his, regeneration, throwing up walls, and shooting ice was definitely new to her. But she shrugged that off.

She didn't speak, she didn't need to, she already had his undivided attention. She needed to make the first move though, so she moved quickly. She dashed forward, toward her bigger foe. She wasn't being dumb, she wasn't going to simply run at him and swing... she had another trick on her mind, one that had worked very well against foes bigger than her.

When she was still a couple of meters away from the Shistavanen, she would activate her jetpack, propelling herself even faster... straight at her foe. At the same time, while in her short hop of a flight she would daw her shield back then swing, wanting to bring it so the face of her shield met the snout of the force using furball of rage.

The only tricky part was landing soundly after her shield met his face...

Ship: Blood Lightning

The fight in space was going in his favour, the defences were withering, and it left everything wide open for the Pirates to move in. Good, Isidor thought irritably, the Mando Rearming station defenders were losing badly. A few more strikes to the Station should do it. Xenia had messaged in that there was a huge cache of very dangerous weaponry and a very sly grin took over from the sour frown he had sported a minute ago.

<"Well, start loading them up."> He ordered, before alerting the Cargo hold to prepare for munition delivery. He then turned to Nikita who had the inventory on the screen and looked through it. They were packing the payload of weaponry. Those Mandalorians were full of surprises, most of them are very inconvenient for them.

Xenia headed back with her boarding crew, ships full of loot. She had also relayed the request of Parlay from the newcomer to the Lightning, which they quickly accepted. Isidor always upheld Parlay. Xenia docked her crew safely and helped move the munitions to a secure area.

The weapons quietened down and the Station was now safe from gunfire. His expression softened more when he heard Cass's voice through the Comm. Even better was the overlay showing the main reactors.

Blowing stuff up is fun, he should know he blew up the Casino's foundations. Cass knew him well. He studied the schematic closely, gauging where to aim a concentrated volley of lasers and missiles. He felt honoured that he will be the one to blow it up.

<"You bet I am the guy for the job, that reactor is as good as blown up."> He answered, a hint of smug pride peppered his tone. He clicked the Comm off and formulated a plan of action to make the explosion as concentrated as possible. Blowing up that Station is a perfect way to send a message that Krakens mean business.

Location: Munitions Section

Eris' brows arched in opposing directions as this 'Amonid' placed a puck on the floor, and from it sprung a translucent woman. She planted her left hand atop her hip while her right shoulder the hammer over her right shoulder. A smirk pulled at her midnight blue lips as the seated figure rose; apparently the woman was quite jovial about their little chat. Why not? They were all friends here, right? Would be more friendly if Cass wasn't just poorly aligned photons.

"Captain Eris Vexx of the Sapphiric Devils. Pleasure. Better were you a specter of my dreams rather than my eyes." Eris drew in a quick, deep breath before she expelled it in one go. "I'd come here looking for booty and now I've been out maneuvered by a vixen of the void. I had to stay and learn what kind of woman got the better of me." Well, the guards managed to catch their less bombastic boarding, so really what kind of woman claimed an entire station Eris just happened to be aboard. No need to quibble over details.

When Cass' attention drifted, Eris stopped talking and rolled her weight onto her other foot. Woman apparently had some business to conduct having muted the channel too. Her lips moved, but nothing came through. After a chat and a swig of rum, it seemed Cass' attention had returned after not too terribly long of a pause.

"You're a busy Pirate Queen, I'm a busy Goddess of the Void, so I'll cut to the chase. Me and mine like pillaging and looting. These beskar-heads don't. You and I could fight over who gets to terrorize which system, or work together. I like the latter -- less likely your men here don't try killing me and get their heads smashed in to jelly." In case anyone in Eris' immediate area doubted her statement, the blue woman lift the hammer from her shoulder. The handle doubled in length and the hammer head exploded ten times its size -- almost comically oversized. Eris grinned as she gave it a full rotation off to one side single-handedly. "What say you, Queenie? I know a good hunting ground or two."

Location: Hefi - Vault, not far from Xyoz Maji Xyoz Maji
Objective: Piss off some Mangos.

Imperator's Raiment, Sabre Pike, Power Mace, Bowcaster, and a pocket full of beskar.

Darkness was suddenly lit as a shower of sparks surrounded the vault doors. With a loud POP the vault door toppled forward and crashed into the stone floor. Light flooded in from the outside, framing a darkened silhouette. Metal scraped against metal as the clawed fingertips of a gauntlet seized the still smouldering metal. The shape shifted, ducking down and slinking inside the vault until it was one with the thick umbra. Only the red eye-slits of its black visor broke the wall of darkness

A sudden light burst with a snap-hiss, filling the blackness with a wellspring of red. The light moved rapidly, searing through metal and sending a shower of sparks to the floor. Metal screeched as it was wrenched open, then something heavy pulled out. More silhouettes gathered, casting more shadows into the vault. Eyes of humanoids peered in and spoke in hushed whispers.

Darth Vornskr turned to show her crew the ingot of precious metal held in her hand: Steel that rippled with shifting layers of lighter and darker iterations. Beskar: The heart of mandalorian life.

"This is the one."

She threw the ingot to one of her crewmembers, then waved them in. They rushed past her and set to scouring the vault. Ingots were rapidly loaded into hovercrates and stacked on top of each other. The dark-armoured form left the vault to the care of her crew and peered out. Bodies lay strewn around the entrance to the vault, wounds still smouldering. She stepped past them, letting the black cloak that draped over her shoulder brush the protectors of the vault.

The warriors among them had parts of their armours missing, already their insignias were pilfered and hanging from her belt like trophies. These were the lessers of the mandalorian people, that much she knew.

Messorem

Go then, there are other worlds than these.
tvVkv1Q.png

Objective 2: Raid and steal what I can
Tags: Romul Saxon Romul Saxon
Links: Weapons in bio at bottom

Head down, Messorem continued walking towards the museum, occasionally glancing about in search of others. Thankfully he was alone, able to cross the road without any incident. However, fighting seemed to be growing closer, though he didn't know who it was. And frankly, he didn't want to find out. Making his way away from the battle, he looked over the museum as he came closer. What he say surprised him, this wasn't a museum, but an archive. Slowly a grin creeped over his masked face, and silently Messorem wondered what hidden gems lay within.

With new thoughts of plunder on his mind, he picked up the pace, coming with two dozen meters or so of the archive before another stepped in his way. Pausing, Messorem attempted to appear insignificant, only to be called out immediately. Mechanical eye whirring, Messorem scanned his opponent, even as he raised his hands to shoulder level. Calling out in a frightened tone, yet somewhat indignant tone.
"I ain't a criminal sir, I'm just tryna get 'ta safety. The...there's hefty fightin' comin' this way and I just wanna get ta safety."

Glancing back every now and again, Messorem did his best to appear as a frightened civilian. Occasionally he glanced behind himself, searching for any sign of battle, even as the sounds grew ever closer. Then an explosion sounded and he visibly flinched, ducking down somewhat and covering his head. Straightening slightly, Messorem shook as he spoke again.
"Ma ship, they got ma ship. Oh lawd, I hope y'all didn't need them food stuffs."

Slowly he edged closer to Romul, still looking back and appearing a frightened civilian. He glanced forward under the pretense of watching where he was going, but only had come another meter or so forward. Taking another step forward, he looked back as blaster shots sounded closer. Messorem's hands were now around chest height, still appearing to remain away from his weapons, but close enough that he could use them should they be needed. Quietly he prayed they wouldn't be, he had no desire to face a Mando head on. Hell, there weren't supposed to be Mandos, just a mostyly empty city. Cursing this operation in his mind, Messorem edged another step closer, still looking back and 'cowering.'

"Now, now," laughed Cass, "there is no need for threats if violence, the last person who parleyed with me is the aggresive looking Amonid standing in front of you, so take that how you want." She wished she was there too, the holo was just so impersonal, she had a wonderful idea, she wanted to meet the woman face to face, why not bring her on board.

"I had an idea my lovely Eris Vexx Eris Vexx , if you are worth keeping around, then I assume you are prepared for void exposure?" She grinned a very devious look. "In a few moments I am going to cut a ice big hole in the side of that cargo bay and start hauling muntions out with a tractor beam," she sipped calmly on her rum "you have two choices. Leave bay with as much as you can carry, go back to your ships and we can meet later. Or, and here the fun part where you have to trust me. Stay in the bay, sit your ass on a munitions crate and I'll meet you in my loading bay in 5?"

Cass laughed, there was no malice in her heart and she had no plans on tricking a potential new ally, but why not have some fun, the bolder captain takes the second option clearly, in front of the crew there is not choice really. But that's 300m of hard vacuum sitting on a box full of munitions approaching a fully armed frigate of unknown trustworthiness, if that doesn't get your heart pounding nothing will.

"Izzie, I am doing something a bit Cass, bear with me and then we can blow that station to smithereens. How goes the loading on your side? I am cutting the main cargo bay shortly so make sure your guys are suited up before I do yeah!" She winked and blew a kiss at Isidor through his holo.

"So what's it to be my new friend?" She asked the woman as she cracked her knuckles and pulled up the controls for the Plasma Cutter, two beams that looked an awfully lot like lightsabers would soon be piercing the void and cutting in to the hull.

Eris smirked as she shouldered the expanded hammer back on her shoulder. What threat? Big Blue was just laying out their options -- things ended amicably, or bloody. Nice to see Cass wasn't flipping her lid over the 'warning' this could all go badly because then they would have gone badly. Seemed like a good thing to know now instead of down the line after agreeing to terms -- how mentally stable was this Captain?

Void exposure? Eris wasn't sure how that had anything to do with her worth 'being kept around,' but she'd heard weirder criteria.

Though being given the option to leave with whatever she could carry was weird. Unexpected generosity that might terminate future relations no doubt, and did not come with any guarantee the woman wouldn't blow her and hers out of the stars with her arms' full of loot for giggles. Oh, Cass said they'd meet later... but you could always do that in Hell (the Nether) too. The Pirate Queen had said 'if you are worth keeping around' with regard to void exposure -- so if Eris didn't take Cass' Wild Ride how 'worthy' would she be?

Of course, the Wild Ride was certainly wild wasn't it? Just a little hike through space. Cut a tractor beam, move slightly out of position, and giggle as you wave at someone stupid enough to jump on. But that would only be true so long as Eris had zero options to fallback on. So far, she hadn't been informed Cass had done any reckless enough to ensure that -- yet.

With a slight twist of her wrist, Eris caused the hammer to collapse into its more portable form. "Alright, Hot Stuff. You want to see if I'm daring or dull? I'll take daring," she reached over to touch a control on her forearm to seal up. "After all, I'm trusting that tractor emitter's been serviced and it won't pull me apart at molecule by molecule." Tractoring the container she was on was one thing; tractoring Eris herself without the proper calibrations was another.

"Oh," Eris paused as she stepped over to a box, "and we'll share quality rum when this is over, right?" Another smirk followed before the transparisteel faceplate materialized to capture a breathable bubble of air. Her bright eyes shifted about to see if they were depressurizing the room first; if not, Eris wouldn't sit on the box so much as ride it out in the explosion and hope not to get crushed. Seemed like the Ride was enough risk, but who knew how mental these pirates were.
