SPECIAL FEATURES

• The shield is segmented in several stacked deployable layers, allowing it to retract into a smaller compacted shield for easier storage and movement on the field of battle. The compacted size of the shield is roughly 15 inches (38cm).
• Other than compatibility, the shield acts as a simple addition to one's armor, and extension of it.

STRENGTHS

• Blaster / Kinetic / Saber resistant: Being made of Beskar, this shield makes for great defense against blasters and lightsabers
• Cutting edge: the shield has a sharp edge, able to be used as a weapon in its own right.
• Shield Wall: If ever more shields like this are made in the future, its users can form a wall of beskar and in a sense become a moving fortress.

WEAKNESSES

• Heavy: due to its weight, prolonged use of the shield can wear down the user.
• Weak point: due to the users arm being strapped to the shield, the upper arm is exposed, a precise attack could very well nullify the shield.
  
  DESCRIPTION

Given to her by her father as a gift for completing her right of passage into adulthood (her father had seen her use a chair as an impromptu shield in training), the shield is one of Siv's most prized possessions, both due in part of it's uses and it is the only remaining connection to her father. The shield is used as an extension and expansion of her defensive capabilities, able to block both blaster fire and melee attacks. It allows Siv to get very close and very personal in combat. And it being able to close in on itself allows Siv to still be very mobile on the field. In close quarters, the shield can block doorways, halls, and even be used as a personal battering ram to knock down opponents.
