Intent: To create a cool leather jacket for all of those renegades who don’t give a kark.

Development Thread: If necessary

Manufacturer: Heartbeat House

Model: N/A

Affiliation: Open Market

Modularity: Yes, comes in several different colors

Production: Limited

Material: Bantha leather, durasteel components, HeatFlex Fabric

Classification: Anti-blaster

Weight: 2.7kg (6 lbs)

Quality: 5

Special Features: N/A

Strengths:

-Lined with Heatflex for protection against standard blaster fire and vibroblades.
-Heatflex also keeps the wearer warm and cozy.
-Comes with many studs and spikes to enhance badass factor.

Weaknesses:

- The Heatflex fabric lines only the inside of the jacket, so blaster bolts and blades will rip right through the outer bantha leather. While this may damage the appearance of the jacket, it also helps to highlight just how few karks the wearer gives.
-Provides no added protection against lightsabers, blunt weapons or kinetic force.
-The studs and spikes are actually rounded at the top and harmless to touch.

Description:

The Danger Jacket is Heartbeat's attempt at capitalizing on a noticeable upward swing in angry, confused teenagers and young adults in the galaxy. Designed to appeal to today’s modern rebel, the aptly named Danger Jacket combines high quality bantha leather with scores of decorative durasteel studs and spikes to produce a perhaps over the top edgy punk vibe. The jacket itself is a bit weighty, but offers decent protection against standard blasters and vibroblades thanks to its Heatflex Fabric inner lining. Because of Heatflex’s warming qualities, this jacket is sure to keep any rabblerousing hellion nice and toasty on those chilly nights. While the Heatflex liner protects the wearer, the outer leather of the jacket can still be damaged by bolts and blades. However, a singed blaster mark or two only heightens the totally legit badass image of the Danger Jacket.

Unfortunately, the Danger Jacket offers no added protection against lightsabers, blunt weapons or kinetic force. While the studs and spikes on the jacket itself may appear sharp from further away, they are actually tapered off to produce a rounded top. While they don’t make for great weapons, slamming your spiked shoulder into someone’s face while wearing the jacket is sure to hurt and make sure that they don’t mess with you again. Concerning storage, there are many unnecessary zippered pockets placed inconveniently around the body of the jacket itself.
