Shuklaar was not a man without regrets. He regretted being unable to save more when they comitted their ba'slan shev'la during Sith invasion of Mandalore. He regretted he couldn't keep Jhira from having to go through what she did following the invasion of Rhand. He regretted he couldn't save more during the CIS' collapse and the evacuation of Naboo. Now? Now he regretted that he didn't put down those shabuire in the Enclave when he had the chance. He'd ignored them when they were spouting that osik about the Sith and when they'd started their little crusade. He'd encouraged anyone that had been in a position to do something about them to do the same till they could be ignored no longer. When they seemed to cool down he went right back to doing nothing. Now it seemed that they'd completely lost their minds, There was no rhyme nor reason for what they were doing now. Such was the Crusader way.
The Crusader way of life was destructive and was a fast way to remind the galaxy that they hadn't finished the job that they'd started and that the Sith had nearly finished. It had caused nearly irreperable damage to their people's reputation. He hadn't been in a position to do anything about it the last time. This time however, Shuklaar was not going to stand idly by and watch. This time he was going to do something. It was going to be a measured response at first, but a response nonetheless. He had just the sort of measured response in mind. Shuklaar had heard of the disagreement between the Enclave and House Darmna. House Darman weren't particular about Mando'a and didn't the eEsol'nare as most did, they sure as haran didn't reserve to be wiped out wholesale. When he heard House Darman was looking for a weapon supplier, Shuklaar saw an easy solution to two problems. He reached out to Lion Darman and asked to meet him.
Shuklaar had deliberately arranged the meeting in neutral space aboard one of the company's stealth corvettes. Not far enough from company operated space that he was running up operations costs, but not close enough that if it was disccovered he was implicating any of the company's clients. Prudii Rekr 1-1, the lead ship of the company's elite special operations naval squadron sat in the edge of Malastare's outer orbit, its single Shev'la'galaar-class Heavy Stealth Gunship keeping its distance and watching for any approaching craft. He very much doubted Lion had been disingenuous with hisrequest, but ret'lini.
Neither the ship's captain Spar Kyrdol nor the commanding officer of Kyramud Mirshir-Jurkad Commando company Ra'gar Nihut'tyr were men of many words, so both stood with him on the bridge, waiting for any sign of a newly arrived ship.Shuklaar glanced at the ship's gem cutter readout from time to time despite the fact that he was already receiving all feeds directly in his HUD. Shuklaar sighed to himself. He was doing the right thing, he knew he was. Only question remained whether it was going to come with the usual cost or not. The League was going to meet with the Enclave soon, and provided they didn't buy the lie, they were going to be doing something soon. Only question remained what? This, this gave him another option, another weapon in his arsenal and another ally in the Mandalorians fight for survival in a galaxy where their worst enemy seemed to be themselves.
