OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Passion
  • Classification: Nightclub
  • Location: New Kaas City, Dromund Kaas
  • Affiliation: Adrian Vandiir
  • Accessibility: Located near the centre of New Kaas City, the location of Passion is hardly a secret; that being said, access is fairly heavily restricted, with a clear distinction made between Members and those who are only granted entrance on a case by case basis. Appealing almost exclusively to the wealthy and well-connected, blue-collars are few and far between in this hive of decadence.
    • Residents of Tower Vandiir can use the structure's elevators to reach the club, bypassing the regular entrance.
  • Description: Positioned near the heart of New Kaas City and open only to high society, Passion is as much a meeting place as it is a place to party, with socialities constantly scheming for advantages behind privacy fields and on the dance floor both, though for those focused purely on enjoyment there is certainly much on offer, from luxurious private rooms to the finest of drugs, beverages, and "companionship".
POINTS OF INTEREST
  1. Passion is not entered through Tower Vandiir but through a small park at its back to which only guests to the former and residents of the latter are admitted; at its centre stands a large archway leading into the ground, aurodium sigils reading "Through Passion I Gain Strength" marking its otherwise unadorned frame. While prestigious, there is generally not much of a line outside the park's silvery gates, for the "hoi polloi" are more often than not made to apply for entrance beforehand, unlike Members, VIPs, and the well-connected.
  2. Delving into the ground through a sloping staircase flanked by extravagant murals (or an elevator, for the disabled or overly intoxicated) one quickly finds oneself inside the club proper; the main floor is a cavernous space nearly eleven metres tall from floor to roof, which in turn is divided into several distinct chambers, all of which are luxurious and most of which are ringed with mezzanines featuring lounges and doors to private rooms. These chambers host a mixture of dance floors, stages, and other facilities, as does the private rooms and larger lounges.
  3. Though private rooms can be rented within the club proper, Members and VIPs have access to larger, even more magnificent rooms (suites might be more accurate), some of which are permanently assigned to especially valuable or influential clients - these rooms have been known to feature stages, beds, hot tubs, and in a few cases entire spas. Though alchemical drugs such as Passion's Embrace are served in the main section as well, they are especially plentiful here, as are Zeltron Cafarels and other "entertainers".
  4. At the very bottom (not counting service floors) of Passion rests the Red Room, a luxurious lounge reserved solely for members of the Sith Order and their trusted guests. What goes on in here is a mystery to most, but the general presumption is that the Sith are busy giving new meaning to the word "decadence", something supported by the plethora of entertainers, drugs, and private facilities available here, though calm (or not so calm) discussions about everything from recent happenings to alchemical theory is far from uncommon.
SECURITY
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Years ago, when Adrian Vandiir first acquired Tower Vandiir, the basement was simply used for storage. This continued, for a time, but with the young Sith's continuing subterranean expansions it became more and more redundant - which was when Vandiir came up with a novel new idea.

At no small expense, the basement was completely renovated and expanded significantly, a gleaming new entrance added alongside a small park at the rear, the piece of carefully manicured land serving more as a testament of wealth in a flourishing property market than anything else.

Although it took nearly a year for the club to finally open its doors, this time was not spent idly, carefully chosen words whispered in the right ears ensuring that it became the place to be nearly overnight - something certainly not harmed by the news that the owner, that being Vandiir himself, had been elevated to the Dark Council mere days before the scheduled grand opening.

As it turned out, sycophants paid as well as anyone else and the club quickly began turning a profit, extravagance notwithstanding.
