Kaas City is surprisingly Diverse, though this is mostly due to the heavy amount of slaves that live within the city walls.

Most of the free population is made up of a trifecta of three species. Sith Purebloods, Chiss, and surprisingly Twi'leks. Aside from these however there are dozens upon dozens of minor species. Because the Resurgent Empire encourages Alien meritcoracy there are hundreds of different species represented within the City Itself.

Slaves of course are made up of dozens of different species ranging from Humans to even a few Purebloods.
  • Wealth: High
Kaas City is quite literally a love letter to the past. The Sprawling Metropolis that has become Kaas City is essentially an amalgum of everything that the ancient Sith Empire once constructed here. A vast amount of wealth has been poured into Dromund Kaas since its recapture from the Silver Jedi Order, and this reflects heavily in the make-up of Kaas City.

The huge towers and the massive Citadel are a perfect reflection of just how much money, time, and effort has been put into the city itself. Only the wealthiest and most powerful of the Empire live within Kaas City.
  • Stability: High
Kaas is the crown world of the New Empire.

This planet, above all others, standing even over Athiss has been designated as the Imperial Capital. Dromund Kaas is held close to the hearts of all Sith Purebloods, and since it's reclamation has been a concentrated center of military and Sith activity. The Legions of the Resurgent Empire are stationed here, a massive sliver of the Armada is kept there permanently, and the Royal Guard stand station within the city itself at all times.

Kaas city is incredibly well defended, and it's residence reflect this. Though there are thousands of slaves within the city they are kept well watched, and mutiny or revolt are almost entirely unheard of due to the simple facts of Kaas.
  • Description:
The best way to describe Kaas city is as a twisted reflection of the Senate District of Coruscant.

The city itself stretches quite far, ringing and extending out from the Central Citadel where the Council and Five Spheres are housed. The city is planned out much like many others, reaching deep into the earth and speckled with residential, commercial, and Industrial districts. Unlike other cities however, Kaas has a certain sort of tone to it. Soldiers stand everywhere, Royal Guard watch everything, and the buildings seem to rise and loom above everything else.

Imperial Propoganda is on every corner, Slaves are not uncommon, and even the lowest reaches of the city itself seem to be absolutely spotless. There was a maliciousness to everything within Kaas City, almost as if the buildings themselves seem to oppress people walking by. The residence of Kaas City are all Stalwart Imperials, and the general sense within it's walls borders on zealotry.

Kaas City is a reflection of it's creators, a dark, yet somehow beautiful picture of what the Sith bring.

The Imperial Citadel: The Citadel stands at the very center of Kaas City and is probably the most iconic piece of the entire Metropolis.

Placed directly in the middle of the sprawling cityscape the Citadel is made up of five spires which stretch directly into the skies. The tips of each tower are topped with lightning rods and the buildings themselves seem to interconnect with one another through a series of sky-ways and bridges. Each of the Spires represents one of the five Spheres of power within the Central Empire. Within the Spires one can find training halls, libraries, everything that fits whatever Sphere the tower belongs to.

Within the center of the Citadel itself among the five Spires stands a singular grand tower. It is here that the Dark Council meets and the Red Guard stays. The Central Spire is one of the most secure locations in the entire Empire. Cameras, Guard Droids, soldiers, and Sith all stand watch for it is here that the Dark Council meets and rules from. The Central Spire is colored in an odd sort of red hue, and standing within it's walls is almost oppressive due to the odd lingering feel of the darkside within.

The Citadel was rebuilt on the grounds of the ancient structure constructed by the Original Sith Empire as well as those built by Vitiate. It is rumored that deep beneath these hallowed grounds sit hidden rooms and archives, some originally used by Vitiate himself. Confirming this however is nearly impossible due to the amount of security that sits around the Citadel itself.

The Five Spires of the Citadel house the central government of the Empire itself. Though not all of the Dark Council resides here, some do. As such the structure is well built, well protected, and incredibly foreboding. The Citadel hosts formidable defenses in it's own right, several laser cannons, turbolasers, and shield generators spotting the structure. In a way of speaking the Citadel is a city within a city, standing as a monument to the Empire.

The Sith Academy: Though technically part of the responsibility of the Sphere of Education, the Sith Academy on Dromund Kaas is one of the few locations within the Resurgent Empire that one can find all slivers of knowledge.

The Academy itself is an almost hidden structure within Kaas City, contained near the central Citadel but difficult to reach without being spotted. The building itself takes the shape of a large pyramid, it's huge walls decorated with ribbons of red and the flags of the Resurgent Empire. A massive Courtyard stretches out before the building, walled and self contained so it stands almost apart from the rest of Kaas City. Acolytes and Masters can often be found training within the Courtyard, though it is told there are...darker practices within the great pyramid itself.

Most Sith within the Resurgent Empire pass through this academy at least once in their lifetime. Within these walls once can find the secrets of the Ancient Sith, though as always there is a price to be paid for such knowledge.

The Pyramid seems to glow with a dark sort of power, and those who dwell within often find the air to be almost stifling. The Academy is a central focus point for the dark that seems to swirl around Dromund Kaas itself.

Spires of Victory: A recreation of the once famed monument that stood within Kaas City for a Thousand Years, the Spires of Victory are a piece of the Ancient Empire that has been rebuilt as a symbol of success.

The Spires are an oddly unique structure. Made up of dozens of massive slivers of different and unique medals the spires seem to hover around one another. They shift and move, almost dancing. A dark red light casts from each of the metallic slivers, towering over the central courtyard as they slowly move around and around.

The monument once represented victory over the Republic on Coruscant, now it stands as a reminder of the Reclamation of Kaas.

The Expansion District: The center of Kaas is built around the Citadel, however the city isn't just that, it's an entire metropolis. Though originally civilians and such were not generally a concern to the Resurgent Empire, it became clear as the Citadel grew that an actual population was inevitable. Due to the works of many Corporate entities as well as the Silver Jedi it became more readily apparent that the people of Kaas weren't quite simply going away.

As a result The Expansion Districts were quickly constructed.

Put quite simply the Expansion District is what most people would refer to as...a normal city. Unlike the Citadel, Sith Academy, or even the Starport the Expansion District is relatively normal. Though the architecture of the Expansion District remains the same as within the rest of Kaas City, things within the District are far more...calm. Soldiers still mark nearly every corner, Sith can still be seen wandering, but by and large The Expansion District it relatively peaceful.

The Expansion district contains most of Kaas Cities Residential, Industrial, and Commercial Sectors.

The Generators: Though technically not a significant location one can visit, the Generators are one of the primary focal points of the defense of Kaas City.

In modern days walls and tall structures aren't really enough to actually defend a city, and thus The Resurgent Empire constructed six massive shield generators that are spread around the entirety of the city. These Shield Generators are more than enough individually to shield the city from orbital bombardement for days at a time, together, all of them powering the same shield, they are more than powerful enough to protect Kaas City for months, if not years.

The Generators all work independently but are able to power the same shield, effectively overlapping the city with continuous protection. This was designed to keep orbital assaults from effective the city. Like the Citadel itself each Generator is protected by a Garrison of Legion Soldiers and is Overseen by a Sith Lord.

The Starport: Perhaps as a result of tradition, or simply because it is thought prudent. The Starport for Kaas city is actually set apart from the rest of the Metropolis.

Located about two miles away from the city itself the Starport functions more as an auxiliary supply center than anything else. Though landing pads exist throughout Kaas city, most traffic is routed through the starport and then separately moved to the city itself. This is both a security measure as well as a subtle means of oppression. Through control of the starport the Resurgent Empire is able to control the flow of goods and people, ensuring everything runs as they want it.

The Starport is of course protected by a a contingent of Legion Troopers.

Kaas City has a long and storied history.

Though originally the City was constructed thousands of years ago, since then much as happened both to the Metropolis itself as well as the Planet. Even within the last decades much has occurred within the reaches of this beautiful city. Recounting all of this is nearly impossible, and in truth to the Resurgent Empire there is only one piece of history that actually matters, that which The Empire itself has accomplished.

New Kaas City, as it is sometimes referred to, is a continuing effort to rebuild and reconstruct Kaas City into what it once was thousands of years.

Though over the last decade or so the Silver Jedi as well as Various Corporate Entities have attempted to rebuild and reconstruct Dromund Kas their efforts were never truly fully complete. With Dromund Kaas falling under the control of the Jedi reconstruction was simply limited, the world belonged to Sith, and its residence belonged to the Darkside. With the Jedi controlling the planet itself Reconstruction efforts were simply limited, and although structures, jungles, and even the land itself was rebuilt there would always be something missing.

The Reclamation of Dromund Kaas by the Resurgent Empire changed this however.

Unlike the Silver Jedi, the Resurgent Empire placed no limitations nor sought to hamper the true regrowth of Dromund Kaas as it was supposed to be. Upon taking the planet work was immediately begun. Thousands of slaves, droids, and voluntary workers were brought onto the planet and work immediately began.

The Resurgent Empire built upon and reconstructed what the Silver Jedi and various corporate Entities had put together. The Citadel was Rebuilt, the Expansion District was re-purposed, and the New Sith Academy quickly came into being. Within a matter of months New Kaas City was born, created from remnants of the past, future, and present. Corporation were allowed almost free reign to continue their work, given leave to reconstruct skyscrapers, residential zones, and even factories, all under the watchful eyes of the Red Guard.

The City itself now stands a the epicenter of Dromund Kaas. The power that flows through the planet itself ripples from and through the city and the urban structures seem to swell and glow with the darkside itself. The jungles around the city seem to grow and expand, the Thunderstorms above rage, almost as if a declaration that the Sith have come home.
