This was quite the delicate situation. The warden had complete control of the playing ground by chosing to remain here. No one would want to risk getting civilians hurt in a tustle. At least, no one with a heart. She remained calm, arms to the side, while maintaining visual contact with the warden. She blinked slowly, even as Omen scrambled for the worst. She simply fiddled with her ring a bit, asking questions. She needed to gain an understanding of the situation. Very much so. Before inevitable violence broke out...

"If you truly want to avoid conflict," She asked, "Then what do you want here?"

She then continued, speaking a bit louder for her vode to hear, "To answer your question, in honesty, I would rather not fight today." She sighed in exhaustion, "I wanted to spend today moping around the festival. Perhaps, we still can avoid any fighting whatsoever? Of course, I don't know what the others are thinking, and this is what I want."

She then realized something. A small grin crossed her face as she tilted her head, "But you're so confident, aren't you? You have control of the playing field, but only because you're holding this cantina hostage. No one would dare start an engagement with civilians around. You essentially are using human shields."

The show just what she thought of that, she spit on the ground.

He finished the drink he'd been enjoying then reached for his Buy'ce. Taking the Helm in both hands he'd have lift it over his head before securing it in place. As the integrated systems of his Helm came online Garrus would spare a glance between Gwyneira, Omen and the Warden of the Shroud whose name he hadn't caught.

Finally after assessing the situation the Mandalorian, remembering what Vren Rook Vren Rook had asked him would stand, rising from the table to his full height while retrieving the Blaster Rifle that he'd left leaning up against the table from the start...

"You all talk to much what is this a soap opera?"

...all this back and forth definitely wasn't Garrus style, if there was a fight to be had the Old Warrior prefered to get it out of the way. Either way he'd look at all of them before his gaze set on Sergeant Omen Sergeant Omen at which point he'd remark...

"You'd better stay here kid, you can bore her to death. I'll find an exit for the non combatants"

...it was just that well, Omen had been talking the most it seemed like. Garrus moved away then, navigating the cantina as he went towards the back entrance.

It wasn't long before the Mandalorian had made headway, he'd move through the main room of the cantina into a rear hall that hosted some adjacent doorways to the side along with the back exit. Not one for subtlety he'd raise his foot and boot it wide with an accompanying crashing sound that caused the door to fling open.

Like he expected it lead out into an alley that the cantina shared with another building. Garrus stepped out, integrated systems like a Friend/Foe Designator and Night Vision Optics coming online in his Helm as he looked down the stretch of alley and he'd have called out...

"Anyone down here that I need to kill!?"

Fenn spotted a group of them, soldiers and what appeared to be a black-clad Sith entering into the killzone. With...oddly shaped blades. He disregarded the status of the enemy, and marked them for fire with his HUD.

Malthael and his compatriots would have entered into the killzone- that is, the direct point of focus for the Mandalorians and Militia groups combined defensive posture. Fenn himself took aim at one of the operatives with the Sith, and set his Disruptor rifle on him. The operatives reacted as well-trained soldiers would, taking cover and then returning fire on the Defender's positions.

One of the Operatives near the Dark sider adjusted his head just ever too much, but then literally disintegrated near the Darksider as Fenn blew him away with a well-aimed shot.

He turned his head, spotting from his position, movement near the main structure. Droids.

Odd. They didn't have any droids, if he remembered correctly.

The drone flew into the cantina air vent, giving Cirrus a panoramic view of the room and the layout of who all was within there. One of the first figures the droid spotted was their target - Vren Rook himself. The view only lasted a few moments however, as said target exhibited his lightning quick reflexes and dead-eye accuracy, and shot the droid from the air. The feed abruptly cut off to static, with Cirrus recoiling from the sudden disruption. He felt no pain, but rather was taken aback from the action.

The droid was designed for stealth infiltration, to purposefully avoid notice. For someone to spot it so easily, identify it as a target, and shoot it with pin-point accuracy verged on the near-exceptional capabilities of a force user, or at the very least heroes of old such as Han Solo.

Clearly, they were dealing with a target that could not be underestimated - least of all because he was also clearly not alone. The operative caught sight of two other figures who appeared to be of Mandalorian association, but he could not get a good look of them considering how brief his window was. Considering how abruptly their surveillance was interrupted, chances were their targets knew they were here. <”Are the charges in place?”>

<”Confirmed, charges are in place.”>

<”Commence breaching maneuver.”>

The Mandalorians within the cantina would probably assume the Blackwatch team would breach through the front of the cantina, but everyone knew what happened when one assumes. One of the operatives returned to the others by the dumpster, charges set along the wall down the alley along a wall wherein no civilians were sitting along.

Just prior to the charges being activated, Cirrus reached out to try and skim the mind of the Warden squaring off with the Mandos. He wasn’t nearly as powerful in the force as she or any other Warden was, but his Psi Corps training gave him the ability to communicate on a basic level, if she was paying enough attention. His message was simple: ’Incoming.’

The charges burst, punching a two meter wide by 3 meter tall hole through the side of the building, throwing debris forward against an opposing wall. The team took great care to avoid any collateral damage given their charges placement, yet the explosion would likely catch Garrus as he headed toward the back of the building, along with any civilians who may have been following him.

Despite the orders of engagement they had, the Blackwatch team did not have the luxury of waiting to see if any non-combatants were affected. Chrias, Rober and Vasir wasted no time in breaching through the hole, their tactical displays highlighting the forms of Gwyn and Garrus, sending two bursts each at the Mandalorians from their respective rear

Fenec and Krupp, who had deployed near the back alley, paused as they allowed a few civilians to exit through the rear, but shot a few bursts at Garrus as his form came into view.

Cirrus followed shortly after them, his hybrid pistol held in both hands as he loosed a trio of shots at Vren, then slid behind the cover of an upturned table. Civilians screamed as they ran for cover, or tried to exit the building. As much as they could help it, the Blackwatch Operatives would avoid fire upon the civilians or non-combatants, but otherwise their intention was clear; this was a kill mission..

With Ashla's help and blessing, they soon reached the rock wall and the caves there. The wounded were taken in by the soldiers and took up a defensive position near the entrance. Where there was an opportunity, they were behind the first bend, so if someone wanted to shoot at them from outside, they couldn’t do it. The shields were still set up to close the entrances to the caves and make things more difficult for the enemy. Of course, it was not hermetically sealed, the air was able to flow in and out.

The arrival happened anyway at the last minute, because one of the sandworms would have attacked them then. If they were not in a hurry, there might have been casualties. However, at least this was avoided. However, the enemy was still out there, still. In addition, in three forms. On the one hand, it was the locals who definitely wanted to kill them because they had invaded their world. On the other hand, nature did not want to see them here, one in the form of wildlife and the other in the approaching sandstorm.

The ships around the planet indicated that they could not send any dropship for the troops because the storm was on its way here. Eina didn't want to offer an escape into the Netherworld yet because she knew a lot of people didn't like the idea and didn't know the Mandalorians so much. Mean, their culture, since she doesn’t know too many of them. So she was just waiting. She went into the hall where the injured were. To her it didn't matter which side they were, they were the same for the Valkyrja.

The wounded on both sides deserved to be treated for their injuries. She had already healed them on Panatha, not just those who lived on the planet. The attackers too. No one was a servant of the Bogan, so Ashla was happy to help make that happen. However, the caves were not completely safe either, the movement of worms moving near the rock wall could be felt as the cave shook. Not to mention the shots from the attackers outside.

And only the winds of the sandstorm have reached here so far, not the storm itself…

The explosion that rocked the cantina sent Garrus stumbling into a nearby wall as he was showered with debris. He'd slump down purely from the concussive force that had affected him before rising back to his feet and continuing to the backdoor that lead out into the alleyway. On the way he was jolted forward again when he was struck behind by something, one of the Blackwatch Troopers who'd breached and fired on him but the damage was negligible; Heavy Beskar'gam had its advantages beyond the norm to compensate for its increased wait.

Nonetheless at this point Garrus actually almost fell through the exit into the alleyway. He'd managed to maintain his senses through sheer luck, the standard outfit of his armor came equipped with noise dampening systems otherwise the explosion would have blown his ear drums. The Mandalorian was still rattled though.

When Garrus actually stumbled out into the alley it was only to be assaulted again. A combination of burst fire and what had already occurred caught the Warrior across the chest plates and threw him backwards. He'd land in a heap, the beskar chestplate of his armor burnt from the shots he'd taken and a diagnostic system on the HUD display of his Helm informing him that he'd suffered some trauma.

It could be that the Blackwatch down the alley thought they'd incapacitated him and they'd come close but...

"Enough of this shit."

...where was Sasha Kryze Sasha Kryze when he needed her, she'd proven a capable and proficient operator when he'd worked with her. Activating the 'Deflector Shield' integrated into his armor Garrus frontal arc was suddenly sheathed in a protective energy field and he'd sit back up before slowly climbing back to his feet. Unless the Blackwatch Troopers were sporting seriously trumped up weaponry they'd find it difficult to breach the frontal arc of the shield which made it nigh perfect for fighting in a confined space, like an alleyway.

Of course Garrus had no such limitations, unless they were likewise outfitted.

As he came back to his feet, the 'Shield' flaring whenever something came into contact and attempted to breach it he'd raise his left arm and activate the Micro Grenade Launcher integrated into the left arm of his armor....

"Here's hoping you came to party."

...the Launcher fired three grenades in quick succession down the alleyway at a two meter receding spread ensuring if his attackers fled backwards there was a chance they'd still be caught in the overlapping grenade coverage. Detonation came shortly thereafter.

BOOM!

Another explosion would likely rock the backside of the cantina as well as the adjacent building that shared an alleyway with it. The Grenades were largely fragmentation but three of them, in unison should have been plenty when it came to clearing the alley completely. Garrus hoped civilian casualties could be avoided but he wasn't willing to risk letting the enemy eventually grind him down to prevent it.

Before anything else could be done, ripples in the Force allowed Gwyn to sense something was about to happen. No time to warn the others though, an explosion immediately tore through the wall and Eternal Empire Blackwatch members rolled in. Sensing further danger, Gwyn leapt away from two blaster bolts aimed for her, but a third hit her jacket. The fabric tore, leaving an edgy rip in the leather, but the armor beneath prevented further damage. Hair flying in her face, Gwyn doubled back towards her initial target, the lying Warden.

"You really wanted no conflict, huh?! Really?!"

Blaster fire and chaos whirling around, Gwyn relied heavily on her Force Sense and trained weaknesses to evade danger. She was running straight for the warden at full speed, to close the distance. She whipped the Ra'ntisr out of its holster and aimed several shots at the warden. Darting forward, she lept up to build momentum before attempting to land a kick to her armored frame with her beskar leg.

She wanted to avoid civilian casualties. She had been a citizen once herself, after all. A terrified kid trying to survive a battlefield, lost as enemies she never knew tried to kill her. By maintaining close range with the Warden, she would be unlikely to accidentally shoot anything. Despite being very good with Mandalorian Core though, Gwyn knew that attacking an armored opponent while she was dressed like a citizen was bound to leave her with several bruises at least. She would have to rely on her cybernetic leg a lot in this battle. And so far, she already was.

Omen winced as he heard the blast as the Empire's agents came through Cafe's east wall. He had to hand it to them, they were original in the entry plans. Always respect your enemy and make them respect you.

Without focusing on anything but the 4 enemy agents in front of him, the Clone rolled out of cover and got to his feet. Better to get the gunman on him and off anyone else. Moments later a whirring could as his gauntlets fired up and electricity sparked through the device's onboard generator. It was time for the party to begin.

Cupping his hands together, he would close his eyes and same to him to help him concentrate as the gunfire rattled around him. It was time to see if these new gauntlets were what they were made out to be. They better be at the price I paid for them... Silently he dipped into his river and guided the electricity with the force, channeling it into several spheres of electricity with enough charge to stun over his head before he forced his palm out and sent the spheres speeding out into the breaching team, hoping Gwyneira Vizsla Gwyneira Vizsla could take care of the enemy warden in their rematch or at least keep her busy. Hopefully, at least some of them would reach their marks and if not, he always had his backup weapons in store. The last thing he said in those several opening seconds was shout to the Marshal his intentions. "You got my back Lawman and I got yours! Got some reinforcements to offer us?"

It was only after that outburst that he unstuck his detonators from the cantina's doorway and chucked them at the hole in the way. Hopefully, they would explode and take the enemy hostiles with them. Plus that blast might draw Mando's attention or even the city's own armed guards. They just needed to hold. The question is for how long.

An inescapable yet familiar hear trickled through the partially open curtains in Jamilah's room. Warm rays of orange sun streaked through the cracks as the wind licked the curtains and billowed the gossamer material. Despite its best efforts to cool the room down, the heat had found a home in the concrete walls and tile floors, making the entire palace ooze warmth. What little breeze there was brought with it sounds of joy and laughter, music, and conversation. A beautiful cacophony of noise that would not allow mother nature to rest until she had been fed her fill.

At times like this, there was no doubt in Jamilah's mind that the desert was her home.

She had been sitting comfortably in front of her mirror for a short while. A long, flowing scarlet dress with accents of yellow, orange, and threads of gold adorned her body. Every inch of her skin where the dress did not sit was covered in jingling golden jewellery that caught the sun and spat a thousand fractals of yellow light against the walls. When she stood from her seat, they played beautifully confusing music. Speckling the air with the sound of soft bells, clinking and ringing their unpredictable notes as she made her way down the corridor.

Bastille's room was just next to hers, and it was there that she found her husband. Or was he her Kemotar today? It was very often difficult to tell, at least until she began talking to him, but this did not deter her. Jamilah had loved both versions of Bastille from the moment she had been promised to him. Things had been especially turbulent since the collapse of the Confederacy. When Bastille returned from the destruction of Naboo the whole palace had seemed to follow his mood. Even the efforts of the dependable Ra'Kathan sun could not chase the cold shadow that had settled on them.

All except Jamilah, who could only find reasons to be thankful for Bastille's safe return. Though she had never expressed as much out loud to anyone, the fall of Naboo had been nothing but a blessing for her. The trip was a long way from home, and in the height of Ra'Katha's union with the Confederacy, it had strained their relationship beyond words. But he was home more than he was away now, and Jamilah thanked the gods for it every day.

Padding softly across the warm tiles toward Bastille, Jamilah spoke. "I can't remember the last time I walked in here to find you with a smile on your face." She asked as she joined her hands together around his middle and came to rest her head on his back. "It suits you." Her honeysuckle voice cooed in his ear softly. He was far taller than her, but she stood on the tips of her bare toes, which gave her height enough to see the world over his shoulder.

It was hard to rival the beauty of Ra'Katha at the best of times, but with the festivities below it seemed alight with much more than its typical charm. For the first time in a long time, Ra'Katha was blanketed in far more than sweltering heat. A calm and unsuspecting peace had uplifted scenery that stretched out below their balcony, and Jamilah was content to stand and bask in it until the end of time.

CUT YOU DOWN

And there it was.

Out of nowhere, an explosion rocked the building, the force of it rattling all of them inside the cantina. People panicked and a Ra'Kathan guard was directly caught in the blast. Vren himself was thrown back by the force of it, beskar'gam luckily protecting him against most of the debris and damage.

"Bastards." he groaned as he scrambled to his feet. Blasterfire met them a second later as Blackwatch stormed through the hole in the wall. The Karjr had a mere moment to press one button on his vambrace - an encrypted code along with his location was sent to Siv Dragr Siv Dragr , reading only: Red. He knew his brother would handle it from there.

Just then, three shots came in his direction in rapid succession, making it impossible to answer Sergeant Omen Sergeant Omen 's question. One shot went wide, but the other two hit - one grazing his upper arm while the other hit the center of his chestplate where the beskar came in for the clutch once more. Wincing but without hesitation, Vren sent a particle shot back at his attacker that was moving through the hole in the wall. His upper arm burned, but he gritted through it.
"Got some balls, don't you, partner?" he asked C Cirrus . "Waltzing in here like you own the place."
He kicked off as he said it, the Halos propelling him forward in an instant where he would aim to land a fist in the face of his attacker, timing it with the speed of the boots. At the same time, for good measure, he launched a cryoblast at him.

Kicking his feet forward in the last instance, the repulsors would propel him out of range once more and hopefully the anti-gravitational blast of it would leave a mark on the agent as well.

Touching down on the ground a few feet away, Vren would face the agent sideways, hybrid pistol pointed at him.

"State your intentions, friend."

Quietly Kaz moved through the main facility, keeping his head on a swivel and planting more motion sensors as he moved. They were frighteningly simple gadgets. Tiny, no sound or visible sensors, and just a quiet alert on the user’s HUD when they tripped. Literally toys bought at a corner store and modified.

But in this situation they were frighteningly effective. As each one went off, a particle bolt removed the heads, limbs or parts of the intruders’ bodies. ::Ey yo, be advised, Eternal operators in the facility. They’re still moving in. :: He radioed to all the other troopers as he ejected the magazine of his rifle and slammed a fresh one in, the weapon priming to fire with a satisfying “hiss-click” as he continued to move.

Then another tripped.

He paused for a moment as his visor slowly turned in the direction. The figure that filled his sight took him completely by surprise. A rather interesting figure with an equally interesting figure. ”Oh kriff, what’s up sweetcake?” He greeted with a casual tone as he rested his rifle on his shoulder. ”Yo, babe, whaddya say we ditch the armour, ditch the sabotage, and go back to my ship. I can cook a mean lasagna, believe it or not.” His lazy tone was blatantly flirtatious as a smirk formed behind his visor.

Calmly he faced her as his rifle fell into his off-hand, ready for use if she made a move. ”Don’t worry, I only bite if it’s cool with you.” Naturally a slow laugh followed as he started to close the distance between them.

Lilanna's plan was disrupted by the rush from her supposed support, the Warden not even able to manage a warned shout before the explosion went off, though she herself was unphased; quite literally. Debris flew past where she was standing, though to her, the loss of control on the situation was the biggest point to be upset over. Turning solid, she had a Mandalorian woman running towards her, questioning her answer for coming in peace, and seemingly any tool for talking was removed from the equation.
Frowning, she raised up an arm, moving to deflect the first kick from the woman, her remaining hand flexed, targeting the cybernetic leg of the woman, and giving it the command to switch off. Ideally, in a perfect world, with no leg to support her, the Mandalorian would be sent to the floor, and Lilanna could at least remove one hostile from the combat. Still, her saber remained switched off, her focus more on the citizens now caught in the cross fire than dealing with the rest of the Mandalorians firing wildly towards her forces.
Things like this was why she preferred working alone.

Ingrid had to turn off the cloaking device on her armour to successfully distract the defenders' attention. Her presence in the Force was still hidden, as her necklace had such a function. The mysterious man did not answer; but she did not have time to deal with it now, for she soon reached the main building. The scanners and MANIAC also sent a report on how some of the agents inside were. The majority was inside, but some agent was dead already, so offering the extra help didn’t hurt anyone.

And all this was successful because she had already met a man who seemed to have already liked the woman's physique. She knew exactly that this was the case for many. She also used her appearance many times during her work. Her incredibly airy, ethereal and fragile physique was often helpful. She turned to the man with her hands on her hips.

"You have no idea what I look like under armour yet." she replied, similarly, with a flirtatious emphasis, almost purring the answer.

She laughed softly at the mention of lasagne. Her soft laugh was like when a lover kindly caresses the back of their chosen one along the spine. Pleasant, seductive. Kaz could have felt that too if he let the laugh affect him. There was no Force in it, no telepathy, just a laugh which came from her being; which made them many times less able to resist her. True, not many people have heard the woman laugh.

"Maybe I'm even hungry…" she breathed.

The Red Witch didn't move as the man came closer, she didn't reach for her weapons either, she waited with only her hands on her hips and a flirtatious posture, tilted her head slightly to the side. She laughed softly again, gesturing slowly with her head as if to encourage the man to come closer.

"I love, when a man can bite!" she replied flirtatiously, purring. "Come! Show me what you got!" she encouraged Kaz.

The storm has arrived. One of the most obvious signs of this was that the enemy had stopped attacking the place and even the worms went deeper in the sand and their movement could no longer be felt. However, due to the very strong wind, the soldiers had to completely close the entrances, otherwise the sand would have completely filled the place. True, everyone had a helmet and enough oxygen, so they didn’t have to worry so much. There was enough air in the tanks for many hours. And when they ran out, the cave was big enough, there was enough air.

And then there was still an opportunity to escape or get some fresh air in from the Netherworld. Thanks to continuous care, the condition of the injured has gotten better and better. Fortunately, neither the Eternal Imperials nor the Mandalorians tried to kill each other in this awkward and delicate situation, but rather helped each other. There have always been situations in a war where the enemy side has been forced to help each other in order to survive something. This has been the case today. And Eina was grateful for it.

Eina didn’t have much opportunity to talk to the soldiers or their Mandalorians. All her time and strength went into being able to heal most injuries. It was quite stressful because there were some very seriously injured people as well. For the lighter injured, she only speeded up the process, their natural healing abilities, but for the very injured, she used her own life force, and that made the process stressful for her.

When she was done, many, many hours later, the storm was still raging outside, and those on the ships could not predict when it would end. The Valkyrja leaned against the wall a little tiredly so as not to press her wings. One of the soldiers approached her, handing her water and a Protein bar.

<"You should rest, ma'am… Field Marshal!"> he said to her.

<"Eina is plenty enough, and no thanks, I don’t need to eat and drink. And there is no time to rest, I need to pay attention to the injured so that someone's condition does not get worse, Major."> she answered.

A smug grin formed behind his T-visor as Kaz listened to the stranger’s remarks. Were he a few years younger, she would have had him hook, line and sinker, with the flirtatious tone and subtle movements to entice him just a bit to draw him in. But after years of seeing the galaxy, meeting people and learning everything he knew, there was one aspect of the woman that he simply couldn’t look past.

Woman was a fake.

The gentle laugh, the motions, the teases, the flirtatious tone… she was pulling a fast one on him. Yeah, he was in a warzone with a job to do… speaking of which…

”Uh, yeah babe, hold that thought…” He muttered as he caught sight of another agent moving behind the woman. Without hesitation he dropped the man with two more bolts before looking back at her.

The phoney.

No self-respecting Zabrak could be caught dead with people like this. But perhaps he was being awfully judgemental, not giving the lady a chance. Perhaps she was a good soul with a lackluster appearance, there were plenty of those! Regardless, those talks could wait until later, when the fighting was over with. For now, the man had to regulate.

Without hesitation, a torrent of hellfire spewed from his vambrace as his jetpack activated to let him hover in the air. ”You want bite, you’re getting bite.” He called out as he opened fire at the woman. ”Don’t worry, sweetheart, I’ll watch out for the face!” He quipped as he checked his area.

There were certainly more of them around the place, she was simply a, rather effective, distraction meant to keep him busy(again, rather effective). ”By the way, you know it ain’t exactly good for your image to act like a fake, right? Leading guys on like that is just low.” He continued on with seemingly no bother about the fight they were in.

Battle had been joined, and the only word that was appropriate to describe it was complete, unmitigated chaos.

To begin, Fenec & Krupp began engaging Garrus near the back entrance with their KC Superior Aggressive Assault Rifles. The opening bursts pinged against Garrus’ shield, but their extreme stopping power combined with their intelligent rounds would likely short it out with another series of bursts.

But for that to happen, they would have to navigate the three grenades launched against them. Both men were flanking the rear entrance, so the three grenades were launched in a fan pattern to try and weed them out, as well as the whole alley. Thankfully, their elite training precluded them from deploying like complete idiots. Krupp was deployed on Garrus’ left, and when the grenades were launched, quickly ducked around the corner to an alley running perpendicular to the one in question. Fenec on the other hand, would not be so quick on his feet. The closest grenade to his position exploded nearly five feet away, casting all manner of shrapnel and surrounding debris throughout the immediate area. His armor was primarily geared to resist energy-based attacks, with basic protection against kinetic weaponry. Shards of metal dug into his armor, with more than a few penetrating through and into the skin. Most of the areas were non-vital, yet he was bodily hurled off his feet and over to the sidewall of a pallet of crates.

Fenec would briefly be stunned from the attack, but Krupp wasted little time rounding the corner again to suppress the Mandalorian, in the hopes of preventing his companion from being executed so quickly.

Meanwhile, from Garrus’ rear, Vasir kept up the assault, firing several three round bursts at the Mandalorian’s rear armor in the hopes of overwhelming his shield. Thus far, it appeared the battle between the four remained in the Eternal Empire’s favor, but the same could not be said with the battle taking place further into the cantina.

As Gwyneira launched herself at the Warden and the team attempted to track her with their rifles, with stray bursts causing the surrounding furniture to explode in splinters from the sheer impact of their bullets. They did not account for Omen, who quickly set about deploying his energy-based weaponry.

This was what their armor was designed for. The electricity crackled through the air, coursing through their bodies for a brief period of minimal shock and pain. But the armor’s energy dissipation qualities doing much to redirect the full brunt of the damage.

After but a moment, the pair of them quickly fired two more three-round bursts aimed center mass at Omen, quickly deciding he was the bigger threat to their well being. While their armor was designed to resist energy-based attacks, they were not indestructible, and would likely not fare as well should the same attack be repeated.

Even still, their movements were sluggish, and obviously impeded by the attack despite the lack of actual damage, which likely gave Omen an opening to take advantage of.

Now, for Cirrus.

Vren’s shot would have easily taken Cirrus’ head had it not been for his quick duck behind cover. Instead, the shot skimmed his hairline by mere inches, landing into the leg of Robar, who gave a vocal grunt of pain along with a slight stutter, but otherwise remained standing to his credit. On instinct, Cirrus quickly shot up from cover to try and put more rounds into his target, but did not have the time for want of his own wellbeing.

The cryoblast pinged against his left shoulder pad. Had it not been for the high elemental resistance of his armor, chances were he would have been immobilized on the spot. Instead, the frigid effects of the weapon were dissipated against the surface material of his armor, and localized on the outer layer. He’d probably need to replace the shoulder pauldron, but at least he wasn’t immobilized.

Not like it would have helped, as Vren’s fist impacted squarely on the agent’s jaw. Although it didn’t break, it sure as hell felt like it was broken. The force of the strike, combined with the anti-grav blast from Vren’s repulsors forced Cirrus’ backward. Had he not been physically trained to near-perfect athleticism, he’d probably have landed face first on the ground behind him. Instead, he quickly shifted his feet as he attempted to regain his balance.

He spun about and dipped down onto his knee, quickly loosing another three shots at Vren as he landed and attempted to aim his own weapon at the Blackwatch agent. The first shot would likely go wild again, the second within a few feet. But the third - the third he fired after taking a breath and stabilizing his aim.

He would not remain in that posture however, as his training told him those shots would likely just distract or, at best, lightly wound his target. Instead, he grasped a nearby jar of some ground, grain like substance, and tossed it forward.

The substance would scatter in a five-foot radial cloud in front of him, which would hopefully obscure what would happen next. He charged after Vren, closing the few yards between them and ducking his head to tackle him, and hopefully throw him bodily onto his back. He would not attempt to grapple the man, but instead shift to the side upon impact and reassess the situation. If Vren was on his back, Cirrus would attempt to bring his boot down onto his face in a knock-out blow.

Otherwise, if for some reason Vren was able to mitigate the tackle, or otherwise round with acute reflexes, Cirrus would adopt a defensive posture, ready to end this in whatever way necessary.

The chaos swirling around them was bubbled in Gwyn's Force Sense. Able to get a feel for the blind madness surrounding her, Gwyn left the outside to the Force and let herself focus physically on her battle. The ironic misfortune, however, was in how despite being Force Sensitive, Gwyneira had no defense for if the Force was used on her cybernetic limb.

Instantly, the feeling of her leg numbed. The cybernetic had always felt odd, as if it was a foreign object that did not belong. Yet, it moved perfectly, just like her real leg, and truly was something Gwyn had grown used to. Now, however, she could only feel the weight of dead beskar attached to her lower body. She fell to the floor with a thud, dropping her pistol. She was a bit dazed in the moment, but she knew that the leg was useless to her now. It was literally dead weight. Panic wanted to etch into her mind, but she bit her lip. Had she been trained to deal with this sort of situation? No. Was she still a clever Mandalorian fighter with a high IQ? Yes.

She reached down and hastily disconnected her leg from her body. If she could just- no. No, she had forgotten something dreadful. As the leg disconnected from her flesh, excruciating pain shot through her. Burning, tearing, open to the air and salted. The leg was a real pain to remove.

As the pain bolstered, Gwyn screamed. Through her tears, she was transported somewhere else. The memory of a cold lab table, her leg being sawed off without any anesthetics. The flashing lights of the lab. All those devices and needles and utensils and-

In the bar, a blood curdling scream rose above even the loudest explosions of the fight. Tears in her wide, panicked eyes, she looked to the Warden and shrieked in both terror and rage, "Kark you! Don't take me back to that place! Stop!"

The bitter cold of darkness seeped into the Force in tingling ripples. To other Force Sensitives, the Dark Side could be felt arising from the half-Arkanian. She extended her hand and in power boosted by blind emotional reaction, sent a strong Force Push towards the person who had done this to her. The person who rendered her vulnerable like she had been in that wretched lab...

Omen quickly dove back into cover just as quickly as he had rolled out, just as the blaster bolts rolled past where his stomach had once been. Now to fire back but with what? Did he go the nuclear opinion? Ehh... Might as well. He could wrap the cost into the security budget at the end of the month.

Popping back up again, this time with his gauntlet out, he would fire a series of whistling bird rockets at the pair before diving back down again. If the rockets didn't get them, the half detonators on their legs surely would.

It was only then that he felt the dark side upsurge from Gwen's direction. F$%&! It was clear that she needed help or atleast to be knocked out of her trace. With everyone busy he guessed it was time for him to be the pep squad. Soon Gywn would hear a voice in her ear, trying to get her to focus. "Gywn, focus. She doesn't do us any good dead. I don't care if you beat the shit out of her as your personal punching bag but she needs to be alive. Get above your father and all the torture and the pain. Be the better person, better than these EE f@#$s or that man in your mind could ever be. You got this Gywn. Me, Your Dad, the Horndog and Vulcan plus everyone else in Mando nation is behind you both in spirit and in person. Give them hell Girl. I believe in you."

Asaaj saw her own telemetry data, nothing popped up on the holo, if only it were that easy... wait, a return ping? Has she spooked someone out there?

And an engine signal, poor descision, thought Asaaj. Clearly they had pinged them hard maneuvered. And given the game away.

"give me two torpedoes, release them unpowered them fire the retros. Let there engines light up after.... hmm... 10 seconds" the engine flare would immediately give away the launch location, but sending them forward from the ship a hundred metres or so before igniting the engines would at least confuse any return fire a little.

the torpedoes were released from their clamps and the Bloodknight slowed, also elevating itself a couple of hundred metres upward. After the alloted time, the two heavy torpedos lit up and streaked toward what was in reality the engine decoy, streaking through space at high speed. It was a miscalculation by the Imperial captain, but she had taken precautions to confuse incoming fire.

"when the torpedoes explode, please give me a single ping of active sensors, wide band." there was enough debris and asteroids that high energy echoes from the explosion should easily cover the sensor flash from the Bloodknight

Explosions from the Micro Grenades were moderately successful in that it permitted the Mandalorian the opportunity to move up following the blasts however this was temporary in the best case. As Garrus began moving forward his 'Deflector Shield' would flare when further down the alleyway successive bursts from the BlackWatch Trooper known as Krupp began to hit him dead on. The Friend/Foe identifier had also identified two targets, Krupp and Fenec.

All the Mandalorian knew was forwards momentum. As his Target Designator locked on he'd fire the last of his Micro Grenade payload at Fennec hoping to finish the BlackWatch Trooper completely. It would allow Krupp to hit him with another burst of firepower but the subsequent explosion that ripped through the alleyway, three total now if you include the breach from the BlackWatch Troopers would offer some satisfaction. If Garrus was lucky he'd killed one of his attackers, if not the explosion should still give him time to move down the alleyway.

Focused on the Troopers ahead of him the Mandalorian didn't notice the one behind him though, really he'd just thought the Trooper known as Vasir had taken a few shots at him during the breach and then reengaged someone else. Turns out Garrus had played it wrong. The HUD of Buy'ce indicated that his Deflector Shield was fading fast and was almost completely spent.

He really had no choice at that point.

Raising his Blaster Rifle, the butt of which sunk into the crevice of his right shoulder while his left hand supported the throat of the weapon he'd begin to trade fire with Krupp while running, no charging forward. There was nothing special about Garrus weapon, it was a classic Blaster Rifle which was designed to pack a punch. He'd aim for center mass and hope for the best.

As he went forward, pressing hard to make ground his Deflector Shield would fail. He'd know when the first partial burst from the BlackWatch Troopers struck him cleanly but he was still wearing Heavy Beskar'gam which insofar as protection was concerned was a cut above even regular Beskar'gam.

Subsequent bursts would have pinged off his armor, jolting his shoulder or arm backwards but like a linebacker Garrus just pushed into it and growled ferociously....

"GRAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

...as he came at Krupp, swinging his Blaster Rifle forward horizontally so that thrust it towards the BlackWatch Trooper. Garrus wanted to hurl him backwards, around the corner he'd initially taken cover behind so that he could likewise use it for cover against the man shooting at him from behind. Maybe he rammed into Krupp, maybe he didn't but if he did the impact might be more than Krupp had expected; the Old Warrior was strong, incredibly strong and essentially inhumanly so. Strong enough that if Garrus punched a duracrete wall he could spiderweb it if not put a small hole in it. If he ran into would, armored there's a solid chance he could leave his silhouette in it.
