Master of ...

A tattered grey cloak moved with her every step tiny, a bit shy of five feet tall and hair bright as fire only occasionally seen as her hood shifted with her. Odd she come back here to the place that once was home, the place that once was everything to her. Now in the distance the sun beginning to set, the Jedi Temple almost illuminated from where she stood, still a good distance away.

Things were growing stranger for her, visions darker. War was everywhere. The light was receding, and even where it was supposed to be a beacon of hope a shadow was falling. And with it, something stirred in her skin. Shivering for a moment as if cold, she sighed. The dark alchemy that had left her so scarred, so wounded.

They still appeared as fresh as they day they finally sealed, the wounds criss-crossing every inch of flesh save her face, neck and hands, had taken almost a year to heal, with Jedi help then. And now, now she had begun to realize the truth, the darkness she fought day and night. Trying all she could to stay in the light, it was in her very flesh and something even she could as a great master and healer could not escape. It was something she was beginning to feel within her body, a darkness ever growing, taking root.

Perhaps this was why she'd journeyed back to where it all began. To the day she met her own master and learned what it was to be a Jedi. What the word truly meant. It almost seems lost now, nothing but faded memory. Can I still be called such? And she wandered on, through the alleys, and lower levels, though her eyes still rested on what was in the distance.

But she was not alone.

There was someone there, someone who had been tampered with. Warped in a way. Someone who realized that in order to make up for all that she'd done, she would have to reciprocate. Balance her karma, if you will. And from the anguish and pain she felt through the lower levels of Coruscant, the woman known as Circe Savan clad in disguise. This time, though, she had chosen to keep her green eyes, her hair dyed brown, her skin lightly tanned by the Coruscan sun. In the lower levels, where the Republic did not travel, she began her hunt for the one who had emitted such pain.

Then a spark of recognition struck. It was as though the woman was recognized... but not ina very direct way. More in the way of recognizing a face that was in a crowd, or someone else in a holoimage. Possibly even a dream. But for now, her presence was non-existent. Quey'tek made sure of that. All she desired to do was meet with this person, buy them a worthwhile bite to eat, and get to know them better. Whoever this person was, it was Circe's code to help those who were pained and in anguish, regardless of allegiance or personal matters. She had saved everyone from war criminals such as RC 212 to Jedi such as Natol'ine.

Little did she know how much this woman recollected her.

Aika Kawakami

Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?
Aika wandered about, aimlessly almost. She had been out and about through the day, just needed to remove herself from the monotony the was the Jedi Temple some times. She had a low hum going as she moved through the streets, a happy tune emitting from her person. But something stopped her in her tracks. As her feet came to a stop, her eyes fell upon a cloaked being facing the same direction the temple laid in. At first, it seemed odd, dangerous even. There was no telling who this person was, or why they were staring at the temple in such a way. Yet, she sensed no ill will from the being. Instead, she senses someone who was lost. Aika fought the strange feeling that she had to dive into the the person's mind. It hadn't been long since she'd learned to actually control it. Using it in such a way now would be....just wrong.

With a small inhale, she proceeded forward, her footsteps stopping just as she reached the beings side. "It's beautiful, isn't it? Almost ominous in a way. To think of what lies within. It's enough to send chills down one's spine, is it not?"

Matsu reclined a little in her moment of enjoyment. She was well having fun after all that time with Hanna and she was having a grand time after completing several orders for he jedi. With the success on Ossus and now a full council she had to admit to a great day. The bracelet the jedi master were now able to use was on her wrist while she held her parasol. Her fans and saber in her kimono when she brushed herself off and rose letting the taozin hide her in the force. Something small but she had learned through trial and error the value of being at an advantage. One final part of it all was... was she still had to continue Aika's lessons if the girl wished it. She could do much more as well while the jedi high council was in session. The promotion of a new master something that only a few had known about.

It was almost poetic how diametrically opposed the two halves were. From the literal depths of despair and dark, known to all as the Undercity of Coruscant, one could clearly view the precipice of light and justice. In the dusk, the towering structure which the Jedi Order called home seemed to glisten like a beacon; almost as if flaunting its "perfection" in the face of the scum it shared a world with. Was it the fault of the Undercity that rot clung to its walls and a putrid stench stained the air? Was it the fault of the Undercity that poverty ran rampant within its streets and the shadier members of society called the place home? No, absolutely not! Yet it would always be looked down upon, spat upon, and otherwise loathed by those who clung to the Light...

And so too would the Dark Side of the Force...

Such random thoughts clouded the head of the Mandalorian as he traversed the streets of the Undercity, humming to himself with not a care in the world. As of recent, he had made regular voyages across the Galaxy, seeking work that would, hopefully, place additional zeros at the end of his bank account statement. Of course, the pickings were rather slim this day; leading to his aimless wandering about the underbelly of Coruscanti society. For those sensitive to the touch of the enigmatic Force, his presence would be smaller than it actually was; clouded through the constant employment of a masking ability. While a Master might be able to see through this rouse, and into the abyss of anger and hatred which defined him, the lesser of the ranks would simply see an armored man.

Fate would have it that, whilst walking ever forward, the path would simply not be large enough for two to tread and a minor collision would occur. Gray cloth would meet beskar and Mandalorian would meet Jedi. With a tone as unapologetic as they came, Isley lowered his head and said simply, "Sorry bout that. You alright?"

The session had ended. The new master had been crowned. A smile was on Josh's face as he exited the Council chambers....

But something caught his senses. Something.... Familiar. That familiar blight in the Current.... It was near. On Coruscant.

He turned to his fellow Masters, @[member="Syn"], @[member="Selena Halcyon"], @[member="Kiskla Grayson"], @[member="Diana Moridena"], @[member="Carn Dista"], etc....

"Something's wrong.... I can sense it...." Josh whispered. He looked at @[member="Syn"], and nodded, he could likely feel it too. "I'm going to investigate it. Hopefully y'all aren't too far behind"

And with that, the Jedi Master left the Council chambers, his fleet feet out of the Jedi Temple as fast as he could, making his way toward that blight in the Current... That familiar feeling. It had stepped onto Coruscant, once again...

No one is ever really alone. Not ever truly, at least. There's always a bit of someone they used to know hanging in the air, dancing around in the form of the cosmos. Energy never dies, nor is it born. So really, every moment we breathe in life, and we exhale existence. Perhaps this is merely rambling, and it really means nothing. Or maybe it has made sense, and in some why relaxed the fabric of the universe, or some minor strand of it. What Ven's mind means is that all is well in the end. For with every shadow comes a source of light, and every day brings a new dawn. But like I said, perhaps this is just a mad merc pondering pointless things.

Quiet footsteps let Circe Savan know that her companion was still there. Though the shadow the six foot five tall woman cast was probably indication enough. That and the quiet hum her music device emitted, just barely audible over the silence of everything. Playing music loud wasn't really her style, but then again, none of what she was doing at the moment was. Ven'Rain had been told to dress casually, to try and... disguise herself. So her hair was short and black, almost fully hidden by a loose grey beanie, her shirt was dark blue and short sleeved, while her jacket was oddly not leather. Today her pants were slightly tighter then her other pairs, and draped gently over her white sneakers. To add a little... flair, she wore fake glasses with black, rectangular frames.
She looked nothing like she usually did, to say the least.

To be honest she had no idea where she was going. But where Circe went, the mad merc was sure to follow. With a blank expression she followed her friend, staying merely a few steps behind and keeping an eye out for any danger. Even without her armor she was a force to be reckoned with, and if anyone tried to start trouble, they'd be knocked down without a second though. "Are we heading somewhere in particular? Or just going where the force takes us?" Ven asked, voice soft.

Her head turned to her right looking up at the woman for a moment, a smile crossed her lips.

"There was once a time I called that place home. It's been over decade since I've seen it's silhouette against the skyline. Beautiful." She spoke softly.
"Needless to say, it's been a while. I certain most who knew me there think me dead by now." It had been that long, and few knew that she still lived. Still something hung in the back of her mind, something lurked in the shadows, somewhere.

As if fated, small collisuion with the tiny woman, he bumped her to the side. Eyes looked up almost coldly, a sense of mistrust hit her quickly. "Fine, fine." She muttered, dusting her arm off as the hood of her cloak had dropped away, revealing that fiery hair. Anger soon followed the feelings of mistrust, he wasn't what he seemed but she couldn't be certain of what exactly he was, evil maybe, Sith, oh there was always that chance.

What she was certain of beyond that rouse, the master of illusions she was, he couldn't hide it from her. Curiously, she twisted her lips into a smirk. "Sir, perhaps is there a chance I know you?" Maybe, maybe get him talking, find out who he really was.

Diana sat in the council chamber with a pleased look on her face. This had been one of the first of the council sessions where she had truly felt like a Jedi Master. The others had included her, had listened to her opinions, and had even taken some into consideration. It was a fantastic feeling. When it was all finally said and done Diana stood up and stretched herself, the uncomfortable padded chairs offering no release.

Her smile turned into a frown as Josh began to speak of something being wrong. “What is it?”

Diana asked as the man walked out to go and investigate. She frowned slightly after the Jedi Master, but nodded. She supposed that if something was wrong, she too would have to go investigate. She quickly snatched her lightsabers from the side of her chair and placed them into the leather harnesses on the small of her back. With a rushing gait she hurried after Josh, stepping into the same turbo-lift as the other Jedi master and giving him a nod.

“So what do you think this is?” She asked him quietly as the lift began to move.

Perhaps it was the fact that he had been swimming in an ocean of negativity for literally months now, but the Mandalorian was able to...feel...the minute flare of frustration that arouse within the fiery-haired woman the moment he bumped into her. However, there was something off-putting about the smirk which claimed her face; enough so that Isley threw up his guard. There was no physical response of course: no tensing, flinching, or anything in-between. T'was simply a state of being karking aware of what was in front, behind, and beside him..."I sincerely doubt it, miss." he said, with his voice sounding metallic as it escaped his helmet, "I'd have remembered your face, if I did." And that was the honest truth for, despite their abundance in the known Galaxy, Isley had yet to encounter many redheads in his day.

Of course, the Mandalorian had some shred of manners, so he acknowledged the woman beside the fiery-haired one with a nod. "Hello there." was his simple greeting.

Nimir-ra to Iella, Jedi Shadow
Syn looked at Josh and he gave a nod. the current for him was there as well. All those long training hours with the Fallanassi and practice to learn a few things. He couldn't create an army but he could hide himself, he could put people to sleep put he could sense others, he couldn't make a long lasting illusion but he could cloak himself and others. The taozin bracelet just gave him that small edge oh not having to focus on concealing himself. Let him conserve energy as it were as he spoke seeing his senses expand outward. "I agree, whatever is needed we should work fast." A smile came upon his face as he slid the robes up and over his own face. The hood obscuring his features but the armored dashi robes were more then enough while the cool invigorating feeling of the sigil came to him. Most who had fought the harvestors and worked to find Velok's plans had the small things. Force batteries with mental resilience. He turned while moving making sure the rest of the council was aware of the disturbance.

Apparently the short stack of fire was very popular. But then, as Siobhan herself knew, having fallen for one several years ago, redheads were special. Of course, pissing them off was suicidal! A fact that, unfortunately, many people seemed to forgot. Contrary to popular belief Siobhan was not suicidal...just a wee bit nuts perhaps.

So she was on Coruscant as well because...why not? It had admittedly been a long time since she had set foot upon the city-planet. The last time had been in the company of Tegaea, then still Exarch, when meeting then Chancellor Ijet in an attempt to mend fences between the Protectorate and the Republic.

That had...not worked. Much had happened, she and her wife had moved from the Protectorate after tragedy had struck them. So she found herself here once again on Firemane business, hence the stylish suit, though a lightsabre dangled at her side, when she picked up on the familiar Force signature of the redhead whose dimunitive form hid an inner strength few recognised. Siobhan knew better - after all, between the two of them they had wrecked a training hall. Coryth was someone Siobhan considered a friend - there were few of those these days.

So she came across her, talking to some armoured fellow. Siobhan could feel the hint of anger rising in the redhead. If it came to a tussle, she was betting on her. "Hey, Coryth. Long time no see. Been a while since Gehenna," she spoke softly as she approached. "Good to see you again," she spoke sincerely.

"Sith" he spoke firmly toward a woman who at one point he held disdain for, for her decision to leave after promotion after throwing a fit in front of the Council for her actions on Contruum. But that had been quite some time ago. For her actions on Ossus, he held a respect for the Jedi Master, and was willing to give her another chance.

He studied her features for a moment, this being the first time he'd get to do so, studied her eyes and facial expressions, tracing them with his eyes and seeming to calmly predict her emotions.

"There is one that is a known Current user, that has tried to sneak onto this planet before. It's the same sense as the one I felt when she was on Coruscant last, and if that is the case, then someone on this planet is likely in danger, possibly one of our own. Sure, it could be a false alarm, but the Current has never failed me before" the Jedi Master explained.

"Regardless of her intentions, it's best we run this Sith off Coruscant, as soon as possible" he said calmly, yet firmly. He sighed, and watched as the lift finally got them to where they needed to be. "And if someone else, another Current user, has the same presence, then at least we now know that Syn and I can no longer accurately know if we are in danger from this, as we could last time. Whether it's a physical or a knowledgeable victory, I am unsure as of yet"

Giving her one last look, a slight smile crossed his face.

"You have beautiful eyes" the Jedi Master remarked before walking off at a rather quick pace. The Master, despite being humbled by Masterhood, still constantly spoke his mind, no matter the circumstances. Sometimes, it was oft and random, and others it got him into trouble. But at least you can always trust the brutally honest guy.

Without another word or thought, he made his way out... Eventually, he found the source... Just a ways away, but in sight. He walked over to a wall and just leaned against it, watching... The presence was the exact same as what he remembered. He stayed there, but didn't act just yet... She would know now that he was there. If his presence alone didn't cause the Sith Lord to leave Coruscant, then he was sure that the other Masters would give a good reason for her to....

It was almost like she couldn't get out of the Council Chambers quick enough once the final member was crowned. Of course this was simply explained in that she had an appointment to keep with a small classroom of younglings whom she promised a story to before they were to sleep. Her steps were nearly like she were gliding along the path, her robes still and oddly enough moving with each minor movement she made, making them appear as a wave or a dancing leaf upon the wind. Then he steps stopped as she felt something that should not have been there. Sighing heavily she looked towards a Jedi Knight before approaching for a moment, book in hand.

"Please tell the Younglings that I can't make it."

She spoke in a heavy tone, disappointment showing both in her expression and voice that she would not get to read to them that night. Turning she moved back towards the Council Chambers, knowing it was likely that she would run into the other masters there as she smoothed out her robes. Her lightsaber lightly bounced against her thigh with each step as she approached the lift. Stopping as she noticed the light indicating that it was coming down. Her fingers seemed to fidget for a moment; though she was never one to like fighting or having to be pushed into a situation that would require it. Still though, with her specialty in Battle Meditation, it couldn't hurt to join the rest of the Council.

Diana blinked at Joshua's comment, quite unsure of how to respond for a few moments. Her eyes had been somewhat of a controversy since Velok had permanently scarred them almost a year ago. The bright shine that ran through them helped her see in low ultra violet and infrared spectrum, but made direct sunlight almost impossible to see in. It was an unnatural mutation caused by the effects of force lightning, and it had been called many, but never beautiful.

“Thank you.” She said finally as she followed after him.

Diana had no talent in the White Current, in fact she had never even bothered trying to use it. Such cheap tricks had been against the teachings of her Master Darron Wraith. She had taught him that open combat was pure, simple, and easy. That bladework in the end was all that mattered.

She had stuck with this theory throughout her entire career, her lightsabers were her main weapons and the force was only there to augment that. Over the course of her many battles however she had grown skilled in dozens of counter measures to most force attacks. Force Drain, Force Lightning, The Crushing weight of telekinesis. These were all things Diana had faced, and then overcome. She was a bulwark of defensive techniques, and she knew all of them well enough to get close, which was all she needed.

Almost too eagerly Diana skipped after Joshua, making sure to keep pace with him. When he finally came to a stop she did as well, a slight frown on her face. If there was a Sith on Coruscant, she wouldn't remain there for long.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Matsu looked at the other jedi as she stood there, her former padawan, now a master and on the council. Avy a fellow librarian though compared to her more bookish then practical... Which wasn't saying much. Just cause the twi'lek couldn't make a storm or freese the ground before her meant she wasn't needed. No it just meant they were different and unique, something fun to see while her eyes drifted around the area and her senses expanded out. She reached out with her senses for Aika, if there were members of the council moving she might have to help them. The comlink on her wrist was what she needed while she spoke. "Aika, is there anything near you? The councilors are searching and I sense unease."

From a distance a rather unknown and otherwise unremarked figure watched as practically the whole Jedi Council establishment seemed to appear around a redheaded woman. Shortly after more people arrived, including the famed former Exarch of the Protectorate and possibly a Mandalorian or other warrior. The redhead was popular.

Tamara scratched her head. There was a deep story behind this she knew, one which was likely both touching and moving. However, she didn't really know anyone involved, so she kept her distance.

"Well, seems my sojourns on Coruscant are never dull at least," she commented to herself. "Hmm, I wonder what everyone's waiting for?"

What anger had been felt soon faded upon seeing a familiar face. "Siobhan, it's been far too long if you ask me." Her smirk turning into a happier smile. Friends, something the little redhead had few and far between as well. Only really Sio, Hevana and Sarge, that was it these days.

A glance around, shifting in the force, but they didn't feel subtle anymore. It seemed at least to her figures closer to the light than she was where headed her way, or so it seemed. Whatever lurked in the shadows, might be what was bringing this? The being before her? Too many questions. Not enough Answers. She frowned, not certain she wished to be known as alive to the Jedi when she was a hair's width from falling. It wasn't that she had died, or any of that foolishness, get dragged to unknown space for a good decade, people are bound to think you dead, and only one knew she was alive, wherever Je'gan was. She only lofted a brow to the man before her, glancing to Sio, to the woman on her other side and back again.

Stuck back vision blurred for a moment as a familiar visage showed itself to her. A flicker, a flash was all it was, enough to remind her of a dream ... a vision from long ago. A vision she did not wish to ever see come to fruition. Opening her eyes, there was a small sense of urgency, but she took care to bury it. Siobhan was with her, others coming. Clearly this vision of the future was starting, but the course had changed. The future is always fluid. It can change just by knowing it.

Sleeps all day.... yawns all night
(Tamara the council are a ways off they are just moving and milling)

It was an interesting sight being back on Coruscant. Not so much because she feared the jedi fidning her no quite the opposite. THem seeing her wasn't a bad thing. Her depression and addiction were manageable and she wasn't with the empire... she was just living now seeing the galaxy she had long since grown bored of. Perhaps there would be something interesting in it after all but she doubted it. No she fully expected only boredom while she sat there on the building looking at the Coruscant skyline. A grin on her face and her senses expanding to feel as many force users as she could. To make sure she wasn't caught as needed at least. She could even feel with that connection between the lords of shadow another. Which was all the more curious.... even the woman from Atrisia who had been with her to fling Lucrehulks

Apparently, the alleyway was becoming quite the tourist attraction...and that was enough motivation for the Mandalorian to simply nod his head and farewell. He spoke no words to the newcomers, simply grunting as he brushed past and set about on his way. Isley had his job, and it had absolutely nothing to do with contributing to the traffic jam which was slowly, but surely, occurring in the Undercity sidewalk. As such, his itinerary was the public transit system, and from there, the starport. The stint on Coruscant had come to an end; but there was a single fact that could be said about the frivolous encounter.

He would remember that face.
