STRENGTHS
Intelligence - Akia is smart, simply put. Dumb decisions aren't something that plague this young girl. She's able to concentrate on many things simultaneously without being distracted. Also, it helps to have a photographic memory. Just saying.
I can see all - Aika never placed much emphasis in her skills with a lightsaber. More than capable of holding her own, but her intense focus on mastering the manipulation of the Force has put her in a rather unique category. While there are many that can best her with a blade, that blade would have to actually reach her first.
WEAKNESSES
Fear - Akia tends to be scared of things..a lot...and often. Which often causes her to duck and cover quickly. This could be seen as a good thing, but as a Jedi, it's probably frowned upon.
Split Personality - Just as it says, folks. There's another her, inside of her. How wacko is that? Her other side is much more violent, loving the thrill of battle and thinking nothing of killing another. This constantly causes her to have fights within her own mind, her attempts to keep her other side under control. Because of this, she always tries her best to stay as pleasant and happy as possible.
Combat - She strayed as far from combat in her younger years as she could. What could one expect? It's not as if Aika is inept. It's more realistic to say. however, that one-on-one confrontations don't really favor her.
SHIP:
Whatever she can get her hands on...or whoever she can convince to taxi her around the galaxy. No 'personal attachments' here folks!
BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Onderon, Akia grew up like most children in the Republic. She was always told stories of how the great Jedi traveled the stars, warding the galaxy of evil. Throughout her youth, and even into her teenage years, these stories stuck with her. On clear nights, she would sit awake, staring at the stars, imagining what it would be like to be one of them; one of the great Jedi Knights. It was her dream. Her ambition. It became her single ambition in life.
Facing her parents, she decided to tell them what she truly desired in life. It was to her luck, that her parents gave their blessing. They assisted her in arranging transportation to Tython, a known home of a Jedi Temple. As she arrived on the planet,, gaining attention from the Jedi trainers proved more difficult than she had planned. Discouraged, she wandered away from the Temple, and found herself spending several days within a cave a good distance away. Alone and afraid, she remained within the caves walls, not knowing what to do with herself. It was shortly after this, that she was found by a female Jedi who had been sent to find her. Unaware to her, the Jedi had sensed her presence, and had now sent one of their own the retrieve Aika.
Hours later, she stood before the Jedi Council on Tython. The decision was made that she would receive the training she so desired. Though her training would take place on Coruscant, under the eyes of the Jedi High Council. A shuttle was arranged from her, and just a few days later, Akia was off to Coruscant, the very heart of the Republic. She now stands prepared to become the very thing she had dreamed of even in her childhood. Akia was now on the cusp of becoming a Jedi Knight of the Republic..
