One jewel to rule them all...
The Amulet of Tal'ra'kaar is identical to the Amulets of Tal'ra in every way physically. However, this particular amulet has one difference; on its own, the amulet is useless. When in visual range of a bearer of an Amulet of Tal'ra, however, Tal'ra'kaar shines brightly (literally). Not only does it allow the bearer to use the same mind-resistance ability as the Amulet of Tal'ra, but it also uses a Force Drain on the bearer of Tal'ra, taking their Force energy to power them. This Force Drain is not enough to kill, but it is steady, providing the wearer with a constant source of Force power. It is not enough to power, say, prolonged Force Lightning, but it can certainly be enough to turn the tide of battle.

Syn would also, for his help, later find a note from Anaya Fen, offering a peaceful meeting and exchange of, uh, whatever.

BIOGRAPHY:
EARLY LIFE
"Of all the monsters I have created, I still regard Darth Vader as something of a minor masterpiece. No, he was not an entirely alchemical creation, but he was my monster nevertheless. Even though he failed to live up to his full potential, there was much pleasure in transforming Anakin Skywalker from a bright-eyed, tousle-headed youth into the greatest Jedi killer of all time. Yes, he ultimately turned against his Master, as monsters sometimes do, but that was my fault, not his. Given the opportunity to create Vader again, I would, and with zeal."
Syn was born of sith experiments on miraluka deep in the fortress world of Byss. The idea was to create a hybrid strong in the force and powerful physically with the life span to continue fighting and training sith soldiers. From these experiments a hybrid strain was formed that remained stable the final strain was presented to the head of a cabal of sith alchemists and with his approval put into a miraluka female. After impregnation of the strain the Miraluka female was taken before the emperor and given several dozen guardians to protect her on Katarr where she was approached by the leaders of the Flesheaters, Blooddrinkers and Thronnos Rokke clan Cathar clans. It was decided that upon Syn's 6th year of life, he would be trained as a Cathar warrior.

When the miraluka female gave birth, Arakesh was there to watch his grand design come to fruition. The Emperor praised the mother for her services to the empire before her had his guards kill the woman. When she was dead the Emperor gave the child to a second family who hadn't grown attached to the boy. As the next few years went by Arakesh was killed above Thule and the child shuttled away from Katarr. When the Grand Admiral left for the Unknown regions he checked up on the child and made sure all witnesses were silenced to protect the identity of the child.

When the child reached the age of four he was presented to a circle of darkside priests for training. Over the next several months the boy was trained to feel people through the force and manipulate their actions and perceptions. On Syn's fifth birthday he was presented a challenge and with a laugh the child reached out and altered the perception of the shadow guards on the planet that were there to protect him and made them kill each other in a frenzy. The child was trained in control for months before he was demanded to Cather for his sixth birthday celebration. Before Syn could be taken to Cathar he journeyed to Mimban for a couple of months. There he learned to hunt smaller lesser creatures before he faced the wicked blood hunts of Cathar.

CATHAR
"He became so powerful, the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which, eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew. Then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself."

As Syn left for Cathar, he was accompanied by three miraluka and sith high priests. The idea was to protect him and continue his training in the darkside of the force. When the group arrived on Cathar Syn was taken to the leader of the Throne Rock Pard. As they made their way through the blood fields of Cathar Syns cathar escorts explained the dangerous creatures that roamed the fields during the night and when they arrived in the main city tree Syn met the Nimir-Raj of the clan a cathar brute named Zane. For several hours Syn and Zane talked about what he would learn in the clan and when it was over Zane announced to the members of all three Cathar clans that during his time on the planet Syn's life was forfeit and available for challenge by any members of the three clans.

For four years Syn survived and trained on the blood fields of Cathar, the constant threat of dying instilled a sense of calm in the half breed and he tuned his senses to high levels to check for duplicity with offers of friendship and learned how to fashion weapons from his environment. In a difficult challenge from Zane's little brother Syn used the force to pull a tree down on himself and the boy waiting until the last moment to jump out of the way and killed the boy stopping more challenges for several months. As he aged and grew stronger in the darkside of the force his sith masters fashioned his a set of fiber corded lightsabers he could use to protect him with when he entered the blood fields.

At age ten Syn having survived four grueling years of endless challenges for domination and rising through the pard ranks towards his goal. Syn was made an offer by Zane, if he lost he would abandon his claim to the throne and leave Cathar, if he won Zane would give him the chance to fight for the throne. Syn accepted with a smirk and after all his years had finally been allowed to come face to face with one of the main tormentors of his childhood. The Nimir-Ra of the Throne Rock Pard Raina. With the deal accepted Syn made ready and prepared himself for the fight.

The event was planned and hyped for days with the news of the secondary wager in the air the sith masters asked Syn if the idea was wise. When he threw one out a window into the lake the others began to fashion him a set of combat armor that could be used in the challenge since he was not to use his lightsabers. Syn for several days rallied the dissenters who disliked Zane and his reign to his side and with them acquired the loyalty of the Flesheaters clan. With a sinister smirk Syn announced he was ready to fight and he made way for the stone circle on the blood fields where the two challenges were to take place.

When the two met within the stone circle Syn looked at the cathar female through the force and could smell her fear. She didn't want to die like Zane's younger brother and knew this was a match for her Nimir-raj was about his own fear of losing what power he had attained. In a short while Syn knew what he must do to win the throne and lashed out with a strike to the woman sending her into a tree across the circle and with a chuckle the child stalked the woman as she stumbled to rise. As Syn continued to fight Zane and his entourage of clan leaders made their appearance and Syn called in his allies so he wouldn't get outnumbered after he defeated the woman.

As Syn and Raina continued to fight the cathar clans started to arrive en mass but the cathar presence was thorn in half, one side with Zane and Raina and the other with Syn. As the duel continued Syn grew tired of playing with his toy and launched himself and Raina up into the air where he looked at her with a sense of pity before he let her go and began to force push her harder and harder........faster and faster towards the ground, as she struck the ground the miraluka pushed and pulled with opposite hands a tree and sent it crashing down on the shattered Raina for good measure. As he moved into the hole Syn grabbed Raina's body and held it for all to see as he threw it at Zane's feet.

With Raina defeated Syn and the cathar clans demanded Zane to relinquish the thrown. when Zane refused the clans behind Syn rebelled and a civil war ensued until the sith with the backing of the Imperial remnants and the cathar and miraluka loyal to Syn overtook the planet. As Syn and his newly formed collective found Zane hiding in a tent on the blood fields a broken man from the days of fighting and having his allies leave him and betray him Syn offered the cathar a dignified death and as Zane went into the stone circle to fight Syn the cathar half breed rammed a lightsaber through his gut and used his second to lop off his head. On that day the Warlord Syn was born in the blood fields of Cathar.

A number of years passed as the sith forces moved silently in the outer rim worlds, after they had assembled the Republic's enemies and secured several planets under the guise of militant soldiers they struck attacking Dantooine with a massive force and together the sith under the command of their Dark Emperor Mephistopheles laid siege to the enclave and Republic base with the main lords separating the planet and killing everyone on it save a few they sent back to Coruscant to tell the tale. The True Sith had returned and would not hide from the jedi like Caedus and Lumiya they would stand and fight them on any battle ground throughout and galaxy and they did with the honorable Andais engaging for control of the planet a single champion while the psychotic Grey fulfilled his mission and defeated Boba Fett of the Mandalorian clans and took the helmet leading the Mandalorian forces on an assault into the core worlds.

In the years of the war Syn and the sith lords fought countless battles securing victories against the Republic and pressing into the core worlds as they pressed toward the jedi and Republic to finish the war once and for all. At the battle of Nar Shadda the Republic secured a victory while Syn and a number of sith forces snuck around them and attacked New Alderan. With a powerful fleet and Meredith's battle meditation victory seemed within grasp but the Republic recalled all of their forces and hired every mercenary and bounty hunter they could to create a force to protect the core and deep core. For the first ten years of the war the core never fell to sith assault

JEDI HUNTER
"Curse you, Skywalkers, both of you! I'll tell you the truth about your father! The great Darth Vader was a sick man in an iron mask! Yes, that mask inspired terror throughout the galaxy, but the feeble heart within was forever possessed by the impotent side of the Force!"

Ten years after the events on Dantooine the Warlord Syn and many other Sith lords took to the sport of hunting down the jedi who wouldn't fight with the Republic. One of Syn's first places was the jedi temple on Yavin IV. The Outer rim territories were in disarray as Syns soldiers mounted victory after victory. When the jedi launched a counter attack with the republic trying to retake Yavin and save the jedi younglings Syn had imprisoned there the Sith warlord enacted his plan, using the focusing point in Kuns temple and three other masters Syn reached out with the force and on a large scale used his kenitite ability to grip the ships and turn them inside out, the destruction hit the moral and resolve of the Republic as they saw the images of their ships and soldiers being turned inside out then hurled into the gas giant.

After the events of Yavin Syn and Sholto began hunting down a little jedi female under the tutelage of Kyle Katarn a fierce rival and one that the Emperor had expressed interest in turning to the darkside. Despite what was told to him by others the Emperor ordered Syn and Sholto to destroy everything he held dear first targeting Jan Ors and then his student Kelly Cross. The chase was simple at first make her paranoid until it was time to strike the only thing he didn't think about was her getting away but it was no matter he could chase her forever if that was what it took and as she moved so did he from planet to planet and city to city. He would kill those that helped her along the way and spread the word so others knew not to help her and the jedi hunter continued his chase of her until one day she disappeared.

For years the war raged on and after a number of victories an end seemed in sight but then Grey decided to make his play for power with the Emperors apprentice and together they destroyed half the empire and lords as they went for the emperor and died. Syn and Sholto were in the outer rim on Mustifar when it happened and as they fought the jedi and Republic felt it as Meredith sent them the message to return and help. She died shortly before they made it back and together Syn and Sholto fled to Korriban where they would work to retaliate and destroy the Republic and all who helped them. When they were on Korriban Syn and Sholto recalled all sith forces and when it was done Sholto fled seeking a true way to become infinite and destroy the Republic.

THE LAST STAND
"Those who do not serve my ends, no matter how powerful they are, will be eliminated."

Several years later when the last Great Sith war came to a close, the Miraluka hybrid was on the sith capital Korriban preparing a retaliation, the war had taken longer then expected and several of the commanders had been killed in campaigns. Only two masters survived and one had already fled the planet while Syn was left to defend it. After pulling back all remaining forces to the planet and holding out against the republic forces for several months the sith warlord came up with a plan and began moving as many supplies and weapons he had to the valley of the dark lords. As the jedi and republic forces overtook the planet they were met with several dozen traps and surprises while they attempted to stop the sith lord, using these shadow tactics the sith army numbering less then 1,000 held Korriban for several more months before.....

As the supplies and weapons became dangerously low Syn stepped up his plans, knowing they couldn't win he decided to take all he could with him and led the jedi towards what would be his last stand. As the jedi stormed the tomb of Tulak Hord. When they arrived they found several squads of sith soldiers with thermal detonators and when the bombs went off the jedi were buried, the rescue efforts by the republic and jedi gave those that wished to flee time to do so and Syn was able to gather additional supplies enough to secure more republic causalities for more months. With this apparent downfall of the sith order, many scattered into unknown space fleeing republic justice while the others along with Syn fled deeper into the Korriban tombs and mounted a final strike on the jedi strike teams.

It would take another two years for the jedi teams to corner Syn ans his elite sith warriors, their fighting in the tombs of dark lord and stealing republic supplies kept them able and willing to fight as the enemies list of dead soldiers continued to rise, knowing they had to stop him the sith lord used this to his advantage and would often engage several jedi at once while his men picked off the republic soldiers and stole supplies and weapons along with communication equipment and ships. Those that didn't die at their hands would be killed by the harshness of the sith planet, when they had the opportunity to they would lead jedi to be consumed by the sith undead. For awhile things seemed good until the republic decided to end the war and sent the largest contingent of troopers to Korriban and cornered the Sith Warlord in the tomb of Darth Andeddu.

AFTERMATH

For the next three months Syn's troops held the Tomb of Darth Andeddu during the time they didn't budge an inch while the Republic sent in ave after wave of troops. Finally at the end of the the three months and with depleting resources and less then ten troops the Sith lord in a meditation foresaw the future and finally gave up ordering his men to surrendered to the jedi. As the jedi and Republic forces entered the tomb unopposed they surrounded Syn and his troops having them restrained and finally separated aboard a prison ship and taken to Bastion the jedi stronghold. The remaining troopers were exiled from known space or imprisoned for their part in the war while Syn deemed to dangerous to set free was ordered before the council.

When Syn was brought before the jedi council he stood tall within the council chambers. The last known Sith Lord was deemed guilty and sentenced to fifty five five years in a republic prison. Within the prison Syn was placed in a cell surrounded by Ysalamir. For fifty five years the miraluka was truly blind to the force from his cell and over the years numerous jedi masters came to the cell to try and find out why the being turned to the darkside, as he recounted his story and made small jokes about how he never really had a choice about his allegiance as he was made to serve the sith order. Over the years his anger dissolved and a sense of peace overcame Syn in the waning years of his sentence. When he was given the offer to be trained as a jedi knight when he was freed, the miraluka took the offer.

REDEMPTION

When Syn was a prisoner a woman came every day for fifteen years to visit him. She was a jedi watchmen and a survivor of the war, her name was Kasandra Dagger a member of a family and she wanted to understand this warlord to better protect the republic. For years they spoke, Syn looking for the upper hand in the early years then slowly she soothed his anger and rage and taught him things about the force and how he could have a life outside the sith empire and could use his powers to help. As they spoke Syn grew an affection for the woman but knew it wouldn't last every year she was older and he stayed the same.

After five years of talking to Kasandra Syn finally began to talk about his life on Katarr and the woman listened not for weakness or gain but because she wanted to understand and offered advice. She wanted to save this sith creation who killed so many of her kind without mercy it was baffling. After ten years they had a small trust and he was allowed out of his cell to feel the force slightly, everyday for one hour the fearsome sith warlord had a break and meal that wasn't gruel. As he spoke with Kasandra they talked about the future Syn had time on his side to help the galaxy and they could take special consideration on him since he was being helped.

After fifteen years of her visits Kasandra missed a day and this worried the man, when he asked what had happened the jedi said she was killed by a terrorist strike from anti-republic protesters. In a fit of anger the sith lord punched his floor and broke through to the lower area. He didn't move but felt the force and tried to find her, she was a gentle soul and didn't deserve this. As a promise to her spirit and before the jedi knights who guarded him Syn vowed to change and help them by any means given. He would spend the next twenty years in the prison and talk with his guards. They offered advice but didn't listen as well and he lost his small window of freedom.

500 YEARS LATER

Synlidwirh meant the terms of his sentence in the prison, what had surprised him and many others was his ability to live as long as he did. He wasn't just a hybrid he had more to him then he thought and as he trained his mind and body over the centuries to be in peak physical condition the ex hunter prepared. He would help the jedi all these years being with them had rubbed off on him as he was released with his things. The imes had changed and slowly he found his way to coruscant and the jedi temple as he prepared for what could only be his atonement. He was older and wiser but still in many ways appeared as a child compared to some. He didn't fully understand it hell he didn't know what would happen to him but in time he would maybe with the jedi's help. Someone there had to have answers for him by now he was certain no one would think or even care to remember the past. Let alone the rebellion's time.

PADAWAN:

At the age of 1105, Syn began his training to become a Jedi; he knew it was going to be a long hard road. Syn knew that for one to be a padawan they must have a master train them, and Syn wondered who it would be. To his surprise, he was to be trained by his Shadow Guardian. He didn’t learn of it until this day but his Shadow Guardian was Jedi Master Barrin Solaris. Syn was stunned; he had not known his Shadow Guardian was such a high ranking Jedi, he was proud to be his pupil.

Year by Year passed along as Syn trained under Barrin’s tutelage; Barrin could tell that Syn had exceptional talent. Barrin not only made sure that Syn’s martial skills were top-notch but he strongly believed in the study of the Force and its mysteries and ways. Syn believed this was one crucial part of his training that set him apart from other Jedi, his knowledge of the force was fast growing and already vast by the age of 116.He soon discovered he had an aptitude towards the use and manipulation of the Force. Barrin stated that Syn should also train in some sort of martial art if he wasn’t going to focus on lightsaber training. Barrin taught Syn a vague style of martial art, which he would later drop, but would be a foundation for a later style he would create. Syn had yet to go on a real mission with his Master; most of his experience had been within the Jedi academy, training, and books. This all changed once Syn turned 1118, his Master has been holding him back but he was finally going to get a chance to prove himself.

They had been on a variety of on world assignments, all of a local and easy nature according to Syn; mostly involved settling minor disputes, going to check out various locations. This time they were going to Corellia to investigate the sabotage of multiple Republic ships. Syn was excited, showed it a little too much, and was quickly reprimanded by his master. ‘One should always have a calm mind’ was one of Master Barrin’s favorite phrases to repeat. Upon landing in Corellia, they made their way to the republic shipyards and questioned the usual people. They talked to the shipmaster first, and then a few of the shipwrights, until finally one of the technicians directed them to a local bar. According to the technician, the leader of these terrorists threatened his family if he didn’t help out. Syn and Barrin made their way into the bar; it wasn’t long before they spotted the leader. He was the one who all the ladies were fawning over and were making a show of his ‘greatness’. Master Barrin didn’t waste any time and walked straight towards the thug leader. Two of his cronies tried to impede his progress but Barrin just tossed them aside with a Force aided wave of the hand . The thug’s eyes widened as they realized that they were dealing with a Jedi. Syn caught a movement out of the corner of his eye and his lightsaber flashed out in a second. That was enough to scare the thugs into confessing everything; the lightsaber has its many uses.

Syn, now 1119, wondered if it was odd that he had yet to use his lightsaber on a mission. His master told him that he should be happy he has never had to use it, one should not be eager to fight he always used to say. Syn could tell that he was better at using the Force than in lightsaber combat but because of that he trained hard with his lightsaber. Syn trained hard to perfect his skills in Shii-cho and one other form in particular. Barrin’s master was an expert in the Makashi form; he said that he found the style truly elegant. He decided that he would make it one of his goals to excel in the Makashi style just as his master did. Barrin and Syn trained and went on missions for two more years, during this time Syn’s control over the force grew, and he even started to teach himself the art of Niman. His master didn’t know about it, he wanted to surprise him; he tried to learn whatever he could from the archives in the temple.

Around the time Syn turned 1121, Barrin was tasked with investigating a series of deaths that had taken place on the planet of Commenor in the colonies. Usually a Master wouldn’t be sent on such a mission but from what Barrin told him, but all these deceased were former Jedi or had connections with the Jedi. Syn and his Master traveled to Commenor and started questioning the local merchants and people who had dealing with the victims. They were getting nowhere with the investigation but Barrin kept mumbling something about a disturbance in the Force.

On the day they were going head back to Coruscant and report to the council, Barrin told his student to head to the apartment and pack up while he went to check out one last lead. Mid way through packing, Syn suddenly felt a presence of malice in the Force. A flip switched in his mind, and he raced out the door to the factory Barrin had gone to check out. Even before he entered the factory, he could hear the tell tale sound of lightsabers clashing. He ran inside to find his Master battling two others with lightsabers and drew his own lightsaber when Barrin yelled “Stay back Syn!” Syn gripped his lightsaber tightly, he could only stand and watch as his Guardian fought. Sparks were flying, Syn knew his Master could hold his own but he hated just watching.

Barrin shot a palm out at one of his attackers and using a strong force push, sent the attacker flying into a wall with a hard thud. Syn heard something snapped and assumed it was the attacker’s neck or back, he really didn’t care. Now his Master with both hands on his lightsaber fought furiously but yet at the same time so serenely. Now in a saber deadlock, Barrin shot his foot out into the attacker’s stomach, sending him reeling backwards. The attacker lunged forward and jabbed, Barrin spun to the right and brought his light saber down and cutting off the opponent’s arm. The attacker fell to his knees screaming at the loss of his arm. Syn ran forward to his Master, Barrin turned his head for a second, and there was a flash and Barrin fell to the ground. The attacker charged at Syn with the saber in his good arm and Syn drew his just in time to deflect the first attack.

Syn was on his heels, constantly being pushed back, barely able to deflect the attacks that were coming at him. He was holding his own, but he doubted he could go on for much longer. He knew his attacker could sense this same feeling as he(attacker) starting pressing even harder. Syn wasn’t going to give up but he knew it was going to be over soon but then suddenly the attacker screamed out as a bright flash of light hit him. Syn could see his master with his right arm stretched out in front of him, the fingertips smoking. Syn wasted no time and cut off the attackers other arm and watched as he fell to his knees once again. Syn looked over at the person who had taken care of him all his life lying on the ground. The anger rose up in him like lava in a volcano and something in him snapped. Syn hesitated for only a second and swung his lightsaber in a horizontal arc and decapitated the attacker. He watched as the head rolled off to the side, but there was still too much anger in him to care.

Syn went to Barrin’s side but it was too late, the force lightning he used to save Syn, had also cost him his life. Syn returned to the council to report what had happened and how his Master had died. The Council recommended Syn take some leave and then come back in a few months, but Syn decided that was not what he needed to do. The next few months Syn spent training and honing his Lightsaber skills constantly working on the Makashi style and learning as much about the Force as he could. Then the day after he turned 22, he was summoned by the council.

JEDI KNIGHT:

Syn had become a Jedi Knight at the age of 122 and was now without anyone he could call family. Those who knew Syn before his Master died said that he changed since that day. He was always a friendly person and got along with others well but something changed that day. Syn would later become known for his no tolerance policy of dealing with those of the dark side. He soon became the type to attack first and then ask questions later. He wouldn’t kill unnecessarily but his idea of when it was necessary and when it wasn’t was different from most.. He knew all too well what happened if you didn’t deal with those who evil decisively, it cost his Master and Father figure his life.

Syn was now being assigned missions, some of which he went solo and others with partners. There was no doubt that Syn was one of those few talented Jedi who come along every so often. He could tell because the Council was sending him on harder and harder missions, the type that would be way out of the league for normal Jedi his age. Three years, that is how long Syn was running around as a Jedi Knight. He went from protecting politicians, to settling border disputes, to investigation, and to the occasional training session with one of the senior Jedi. He was accustomed to hearing about how great his Master was and that he had big shadow to fill. Syn’s surrogate father had died to save him; Syn was going to become as great a Jedi as Barrin was no matter what it took. He always kept his Master’s ideals in mind; though Syn had become hardened, he never would do anything to stray from the path of light or harm innocents. Syn firmly believed in the Jedi Order and its rules, he couldn’t say the same for the current government though.

Syn’s detachment and cold nature while normally viewed negatively, led to development of a very unique power. He hadn’t realized it himself, and it wasn’t until an older instructor pointed it out to Syn in one of their training sessions. He commented that he hadn’t even noticed Syn enter the room, stating that it was if he didn’t have a presence in the Force. Syn consulted many elder Jedi after this, soon learning that it was a rare ability to conceal his presence and alignment in the Force. His instincts told him that this would be a highly useful skill to cultivate, which he did. Three years was how long it took Syn to conceal his Force presence, and even learn the ability to alter his alignment. It would not only define the next ten years of his life, but also keep him alive in the most dangerous situations.

Then at the age of 1125, Syn was given a special role in the Jedi order which few get but still of great importance. The tragedy with his Master and his exceptionally high skills made him ideal for the position, or so the council told him. The council had given him the rank of Jedi Shadow. A Shadow’s main objective was to hunt down dark side elements and bring them to justice or even eliminate them. Syn was perfect for the job since he was driven to take down the dark side and could conceal his connection to the Force. Not only this, but his hard mannerisms and cold demeanor made him perfect for infiltrating these dark side cults and organizations.

Syn infiltrated and eliminated various dark elements for ten long years; His reputation had grown greatly over these years. He heard whispers all over that he may have turned to the dark-side since he dealt with them for so long. Syn could understand why people would think like that, but the council still seemed to trust him. He was summoned back to the council after capturing a dark Jedi on New Alderaan, life had not been easy on Syn so far. The council seemed extremely grateful for what Syn had been doing, since few would do the same.

Over the next several years Syn trained under dozens of masters and learned the ways of the force to help heal the galaxy instead of destroy and kill. Ten years after he was released Syn was offered a place on the jedi council overlooking his unionized planetary structure between the Cathar and Miraluka. the two races had made great progress under Syn directives and joined the republic as a paired system and became strong supporters of the jedi building several academies on the planets and asking their Nimir-Raj Syn to lead their newly formed jedi high council on Cathar.

Upon accepting the position in the academy the jedi knight Syn was given a padawan to train, his masters believed that by passing on his knowledge and experiences with the darkside their troubled padawans would see the true dangers and avoid that path. After eight years of training padawans on Cathar and a few other places Syn was given a padawan who seemed to be finding something grave, the padawan Luuke was a troubled child and Syn taught him as best he could, but in the end Luuke and Syn parted ways. He would go on to become a master in the jedi high council on Bastion and betray the jedi with his dying breath.

JEDI MASTER

Syn finally felt a sense of satisfaction that he hadn’t felt in years. Syn had finally become a Jedi Master, he was part of the Jedi elite, and few could say the same. While he stood there receiving his title, all he could think about was Master Barrin. Syn may have become hardened and maybe even cold over the years, but he was never going to forget the Master he loved. He was soon receiving comments and praises about how he had lived up to his Master’s name and that Barrin would be proud, Syn really hoped this was true.

There were two main things on Syn’s mind after his appointment to the rank of Master. One was that he needed to find himself an apprentice and the other was that he desperately wanted to see all the information that he could now see as a Master in the Jedi Archives. Syn never lost the habit of reading and learning as much about the force as he possibly could. Syn was pretty sure that his knowledge of the Force definitely outweighed his skill with a lightsaber. Had he not been a Shadow, he would have most likely been ranked a Jedi Consular. Syn spent a large amount of his time in the Jedi archives once he had been ranked a Jedi Master

Before he found himself a padawan, he had a very interesting meeting with someone he had not seen in many long years. He had not seen her since his early padawan days. She was a older knight at that time, and they only met by happenstance. It had almost been 15 years since he encountered her again in the temple training room. Syn had been practicing his lightning fist, as he did everyday, when she walked into the room. He wasn't sure why, but he didn't feel the need to brush her off as he did so many others. She had been quite nice to him when they first met 15 years ago, and she still hadn't changed. He could tell when he looked at her that she had a story to tell. Jessa, she was one of the rare few whom Syn considered a close friend. She had been the first since his master that had broken the wall he had built around himself. He soon learned that Jessa was also an avid practitioner of unarmed combat. She showed interest in lightning fist, which Syn eventually taught to her after years of friendship. She is one of the few that Syn trusts wholly to this very day.

Unlike many, when Syn became a Master, he got very few off-world assignments. He believed this was the doing of the council, and them recognizing his efforts has a Jedi Shadow. Now that Syn didn’t have to go off-world as much, he decided the time was right to find an apprentice.

IELLA E`RON:
"Choose someone as a successor and you will inevitably be succeeded.
Choose someone hungrier and you will be devoured.
Choose someone quicker and you won't dodge the blade at your back.
Choose someone with more patience and you won't block the blade at your throat.
Choose someone more devious and you'll hold the blade that kills you.
Choose someone more clever and you'll never know your end.
Despite these cautions, an apprentice is essential. A Master without an apprentice is a Master of nothing.

After Elrood and the Harvest infection we received a coded message saying only "Je'daii" It led us to a world and one of the ancient ships the order used in the time before the Republic. There we found a star map and it led us to several locations around the galaxy. I do not know what we will find but this is a jedi undertaking that requires skill and tact.

My closest friend and ally, as much as I do love her we can never be more. At first this saddened me but it opened me to the wondrous possibilities.

My Nimir-raj, my padawan and the one who has eased the burden of time from my shoulders. She is a marvel of a woman compared to that Templar I met on Tattooine. Now she is becoming a talented jedi whom I will pass all I have learned onto.
