BIOGRAPHY:

Dagos’ story is almost a rag to riches story. He spent the first two years of his life on his home planet of Haruun Kal before moving to Nar Shaddaa with his father, mother and older brother Ragos.

Dagos and his family spent ten years on the smuggler’s moon while his father made a healthy living running a Hutt night club( and allegedly doing much more than that.). Life on the moon was interesting to say the least. With his father’s somewhat favored position with Valturla the Hutt, Dagos’ life was never as difficult as many of the people forced to make a life on Nar Shaddaa.

While Dagos did not struggle for food or for housing or for clothes and in fact Dagos had much more of those things than many others his life on little Corsucant wholly easy. The favor his father had with Valturla caused resentment among many other beings who were passed over such good standing. In many cases such resentments also trickled down to the children of those passed over parents and on occasion lead to altercations between Dagos and the other children, though more often than not it was Dagos older brother who bore the brunt of the ill will due to being older and better able to understand such things.

At the age of six after a particularly violent interaction between Dagos’ brother who was twelve at the time and a Trandoshan hatchling the boys’ father had them begin training in martial arts. The two brothers were naturals and immediately impressed their Noghri trainer, quickly progressing in their studies.

As Dagos’ physical training began so did his spiritual training. Like all who hailed from Haruun Kal, Dagos was connected to the force and that meant he needed to learn to cultivate and hone his affinity. Even at the age of six Dagos would spend hours with his father and brother learning to use the force to physically affect things through the force , moving or lifting objects, pushing, pulling, that sort of thing. Dagos took to that sort of training well and quickly progressed to the same skill as his brother who was six years older than him in age and training.

It was the hours spent with his mother that truly tested him. Learning to use the force to affect things in the metaphysical was frustratingly, drainingly difficult. Dagos often went to sleep exhausted from the time spent with his mother learning simple things such as breathing or attempting to communicate without words but there were nights where he was as exhausted as any other but his nights were restless and filled with terrors he could not awake from. Those nights always followed the sessions where Dagos and his brother were expected to take turns using the force to touch each other’s minds, to influence or confuse or frighten. These were all things he was expected to learn. His parents who had middling mastery of the force at best, (even at ages six and ten he and his brother knew they were far more connected than them) told the young boys they had to know for sure the extent of their powers. The children were told it was a great honor to be so skilled but they must keep it a secret lest the boys be taken by rival Hutt gangs or any of the religious zealots that permeated the galaxy such as the Jedi or Sith.

And so it was for the next many years that Dagos along with his brother trained and lived in relative happiness. Dagos’ skill in the force over the years grew past his elder brother’s but Ragos was always the more talented martial artist, not that it won him any favors at home. The boy’s parents clearly loved them both but because of their religious beliefs they were always quick to praise every new achievement Dagos made in his growing mastery of the force. This fact coupled with the nature of their father’s line of work which kept him away from home and busy placed a seed of resentment in the elder Terrek brother’s heart.

While their force training was kept secret, their martial arts training however was very public. At the age of ten Dagos entered and won his first of many competitions. Dagos traveled all through the sector to compete against other youth fighters and in many cases Dagos would prove himself victorious. His brother Ragos while having been an immensely skilled fighter in his own right had turned sixteen and despite having many offers to attend elite academies turned them down and fell out of competition all together. The seed of resentment had over the years been watered and flowered to the point that Ragos and his father could hardly be in a room together without an argument occurring, not that they were often together as the patriarch of the family still placed work and providing for his family above all else including spending time with them, and on the occasion where their father was home Ragos often was not, having fallen in with a rough crowd, he now spent more and more of his time out in the streets of Nar Shaddaa getting to force knows what kind of trouble.

Two years later at the age of twelve and once again Dagos life changed. The first change was his best friend, his brother, was gone. Ragos got caught up in some kind of trouble with his band of street thugs and was unfortunately arrested.

The next change came when an attempt was made on his father’s life. The authorities ruled it as a botched robbery but in private Dagos’ father was convinced it was a hit but was unsure by whom.

The third change was finding out that the next year Dagos would be attending a prime academy on Commenor.

Commenor was as different from Nar Shaddaa as possible. It was beautiful and elegant and you could breathe the air without wondering what that god awful smell was but to Dagos it did not feel right. Despite boarding at an elite school and quickly becoming the star of their K’thri team he often found himself missing the hardness of Nar Shaddaa and most of all missing his brother and the friends he had left behind. He did not fit in as well as would hoped at his new school. Many of the students and their parents thought him to be an upjumped street kid only being allowed to attend the academy because he helped a sports team look good. Dagos himself felt like an outsider unable or unwilling to connect with his new surroundings and he figured most of his peers to be petulant rich kids who did not know what it was like to struggle and had no idea how the galaxy truly operated.

Dagos has been Commenor for a year and everyday hopes something will change once again…

Change came as Dagos became a part of the Jedi Order on Commenor after being sent to the Silver Jedi temple there. His time with the Jedi did not start on the right foot. He spent most of his time the first few weeks mad at everything and everyone. He skipped lessons, picked fights and was almost unbearable to be around.

Things changed around the time he met clone trooper 4821 aka Party and was taken on as Padawan by one the Jedi Masters on the Silver council. After meeting his new master he decided that he was the reason for his own misery. That being a Jedi could be a great thing for him if he let it.

To that end he dedicated more of himself to growing within The Force and helping those in need.

Dagos first mission was not one he had intended on taking on. One day during a training run with Party through the forest of Kashyyyk, the two stumbled upon a group of poachers. Together with the help of fellow padawan Aayla Shan, Dagos and Party were able to shut the illegal operation down.

It was soon after that incident that Dagos met another Padawan Iris. While they did not have an adventure she did invite him to the Jedi temple on Ossus where he would possibly meet even more friends.

Before his travels to Ossus however he answered the call to join a Jedi expedition to the Roche asteroid belt to help reclaim a space station after the many battles with the Bryn’adul. This mission turned into a fight for survival as the asteroid station was full of Bryn war monsters. Dagos and his team were beset by the beasts with Dagos suffering major injuries including the loss of his left hand which had to be replaced with a prosthetic.

Since that day Dagos has been plagued by nightmares and a hidden desire to never be that vulnerable again.

A mission to Cato Nemoidia once again left Dagos with scars and missing a part of himself this time however it was his spirit that had been damaged.

Unable to confront what he had been a part of or what he had lost, Dagos left the Jedi and shut himself off from the galaxy and those that cared about him(if there were any of those left.) he retreated to a life of the bare minimum and Spice. Using the substance to shield himself from his own feelings and memories. The Jedi had not been there for him and he was no longer there for them.

Eventually Dagos got himself clean of his addiction but still felt like he had no place to go and so he spent a year or so in the undercity of Coruscant, using the skills he learned in his short time with the Order to deal out vigilante Justice to the criminals who operated in and thought they owned the lower levels. A chance to rejoin the order presented itself but Dagos turned it down, sure now that he was not fit to be a Jedi.
