LOADOUT

Both Viper team and their Mercenary counterparts were busy securing the parameter while Jackal checked for blueprints, ensuring she had ample protection during the process. Tayl herself had locked down a corridor with her shield up, leaning around the corner to keep her legs behind cover.

Though she had been silent thus far, she was about to order an advance when the Sangir chimed in.

"See this is why you all should pay me more than others, think smart, not hard ya know? Here are the blueprints to this type of ship, the big ole room we are looking for should be down through thissss way."

With little more than a hand gesture in Mandalorian "Battle-sign", Tayl ordered one of the blue-clad crusaders to swap positions with her as she began to slowly back up towards Jackal's position, refusing to drop her aim down the corridor until someone else had taken over for her.

After which, she would quickly study the map and nod affirmatively.

"This is why we hired you..."

Well, technically Aloy hired her because Tayl wouldn't stop hyping up Jackal's rep until her mother caved in and offered her the job as a little "test run" but, details.

"I know I know, I am just the greatest... Anyway if we want to get me into things such as the inner working of the ship and perhaps even turn off cams or whatever else, could try getting me into a server room. Cripple their ability to chase us down even if they do get backup ey?"

"We'd have to split the team up or hit each objective one at a time"

The fact that hostile security hadn't arrived yet was concerning to the young but experienced Twi'lek. She'd rather know what they were up against before splitting up, even if she knew Jackal could realistically take the bridge by herself if she really set her mind to it. Assuming these were similar to the Imperial-esque security forces Tayl had fought before.

Coming to a decision only a moment after voicing her options, Tayl turns toward the corridor that Jackal had pointed out, raising her blaster and gesturing for the others to follow.

"I've got point. We stick together until we know the enemy"

And on command, both teams began advancing behind Tayl, with Viper Team in a classic Rolling-T while the less organized "strays" seemed a bit more loosely formed around them.

"If it comes to plan B: Jackal and Strays will take the bridge. Viper and I will take 'n hold the package"

Weapons raised, voices hushed and eyes peeled, They would all begin marching towards the storage room. It would be the first time Adeline Noctua Adeline Noctua and Katyusha Jarko Katyusha Jarko had seen Tayl In her element; Leading from the front. Slow but smooth in preparation for moments where quick thinking and quicker reaction was the key to life or death in equal measure. There were no family squabbles on her mind now. No looming dread of losing mother's favor. No uncertainty of the Mandalorian future. Here she had one focus, One distraction from all that ailed her;

War.

In the words of Apollyon The Betrayer Apollyon The Betrayer -

Apollyon said:
"If inner peace is the product of one's mind and body working in perfect harmony. A battlefield, then, is one of the most peaceful places you can be."

And in this environment, Tayl felt as peaceful as one could be.

Leenic was quite quickly moving about the bridge, his holstered pistol and saber clanking against his thigh plating as he walked. He was completely focused on the target his ship had acquired and didn't notice the first time his Lieutenant called over to him.

"Sir?" The Mercenary said, waiting a minute or so before walking over and getting in front of the Mandalorian's pacing. "Sir, we got a comms request, looks like it's from that ship we fired at."

Shaking his head as he snapped out of his tunnel vision, Leenic looked up from the floor and into the Lt's eyes before nodding curtly. "Put 'em through, I want to see who we are shooting at."

"Yes sir, comm put the ship through."

"On it, sir."

After a few seconds, the image of Laphisto Laphisto appeared in front of Leenic, drawing many looks of surprise from the crewmembers inhabiting the bridge. Leenic took a moment to study the figure as he spoke, glancing over at the Lt and gesturing towards the hologram.

"There a dragon on this table for you too?" Leenic asked, leaning foward. "Or am I seeing things?"

"Not even sure what it is, sir, but it's there." He responded, using his tablet to take a picture. "Boys back home won't believe this."

" we are looking for Ubbal Dusat, we have a few words to discuss with the tunroth, if you have any information on his whereabouts i would gladly appreciate it."

Leenic frowned as the question was asked, crossing his arms and standing up to his full height. He had no clue who this Ubbal even was, much less what the hell he would be doing running around near the Black Hand but go figure. Before he answered, Leenic took a moment to study the figure in front of him, pushing out against his cheek with his tongue at the sight of the lightsaber and beskar combo.

Either you're one of those new Mandalorian force wielders that have been showing up, or you stole that armor. He thought bitterly. Lucky I got another job to do out here.

"No, I've got no idea who the hell this Ubbal dude is. And he sure isn't hanging around us, so I'd recommend you clear out of our AO."
Leenic said, glancing towards the monitor showing him a few of his ship's guns. "The Dragon is more than capable of vaporizing you vessel before you even get in range of her, so this is your warning to leave. Don't expect another."

Once finished, Leenic cut the comm channel and looked at the Lieutenant. "If they continue to head towards us, tell the guns to open fire. Aim to kill this time."

Attire & Equipment

Aloy stood upon the bridge, listening to the chatter of Marines and Captains across the fleet's primary channel with her hands clasped behind her back. Despite the noise, she looked calm as she stared into the void of space beyond the exchange of ionized plasma splashing blue against shields just ahead.

Similarly to her daughter, Aloy felt an odd comfort from this position.

Perhaps it was an old commander's nostalgia, but the quiet ambiance would always bring it all into focus.

Even so, a more direct communication caught her off guard.

"Ma'am, vessel arriving out of hyperspace"

"Colors?" She inquired, expecting reinforcements from whichever faction the Black Ice was working for.

"Unknown... Frigate"

. . .

"They're charging weapons and shields!"

Aloy did little more than questioningly peek over her shoulder at the droid before turning her attention back to the calming stars beyond. The idea that this new vessel wasn't Final Dawn but still preparing to attack was confusing, to say the least, but in her opinion it mattered little. The entire Black Fleet was nearby. Let them open fire. Let them summon their fleets. Her Vode would be in and out, either as victors or ready to claim it another day.

As evidenced by the next report she received.

"Golden Dragon has fired a single shot. Miss"

"A warning. leave it to the Dragon to take initiative"

"Frigate is hailing us"

"Open a channel"

She waited for the telltale distortion of holo-static behind her to peek over her shoulder. The images of both Laphisto Laphisto and Leenic Ellsil Leenic Ellsil had appeared on the bridge behind her.

" apologies for our intrusion, we are not here to steal your prize, we had hoped to find someone else a friend of yours maybe?"
" we are looking for Ubbal Dusat, we have a few words to discuss with the tunroth, if you have any information on his whereabouts i would gladly appreciate it."
"No, I've got no idea who the hell this Ubbal dude is. And he sure isn't hanging around us, so I'd recommend you clear out of our AO."
"The Dragon is more than capable of vaporizing you vessel before you even get in range of her, so this is your warning to clear out. Don't expect another."

Aloy stood in silence as the two "conversed" rather quickly, waiting until the very end to snort in slight amusement. While definitely audible, little more than a cloak and the corner of a T-visor was visible when she finally responded.

<<"I don't recognize your armor. If you're not here to seek Akaan'gaan against the Sith, then we have no business. We may be Mandalorian, but our fleet operates on it's own terms">>

Her tone was authoritative as usual, but it had an oddly professional calm behind it considering this unknown vessel had charged right in with it's weapons and shields raised.

<<Your 'friend' is unknown to us. As are you. But if you want to change this, seek out The Black Fleet wherever the whispers carry you or the remains of sith and imperials point you. Until then however, I suggest following my Vod's advice>>

And with this, she gestured for her droids to cut the feed. It wasn't long after that they informed her of a new message from much further into the void.

"Hail from Vasher"

She merely nodded, turning around to face her ally's holographic form, however distorted by distance it may be.

<Got the Letter. Finally able to leave. I'll be on my way soon. You'll probably have the whole thing done and handled by the time I get there, but I do ask that you wait until I arrive, just so I can check things for myself. Out.>

A shame that it wasn't a live message in the end, else he would have heard the audible chuckle as she crossed her arms.
You're late, my friend, or so she would have said to him. Sadly, it didn't look like these new vessels would give her the time to wait.

Black Ice
She kept to the rear, letting the hired help move up behind Tayl. She kept her head on a swivel, though what bothered her was the heat sensors that this 'Jackal' were giving off. Or rather, what they weren't giving off. Her initial body temperature was lower than most, but she discounted it to being something of a species issue. Hand on her CRP-02, she kept to the back of the formation. In truth, she would have preferred to be up close and personal to use her Vibo-Spear, but that never worked well with team tactics. She could probably make it work, but it inhibited the actions of her comrades, so to the support position she would remain.

She kept her thoughts to herself, and listened to the comm chatter, more thinking on how things might go south, and where to take them from there.

Hearing Jackal's chatter, she gave a short retort. "Whatever we decide on, do it quickly and right. We can't scuttle this slag." She said softly, creeping forward with her blaster at the ready, she could feel the alien minds of their foes up ahead, and knew what was soon to come.

It was a bit difficult at times to keep the Force under wraps in situations like this. But she manged, just barely.

FINAL DAWN
TSHINDRAL III, MID RIM

As the Mandalorians moved out, Lieutenant Mithak proceeded to walk towards a part of the Black Ice's Bridge which contained various consoles, linked to the many Security Cameras and Intruder Detectors scattered across the Star Galleon. Through them, Mithak and the crew of the bridge could eavesdrop on the conservations between the Mandalorians who had boarded the Black Ice. "They seem to be headed towards the cargo bay, just as anticipated sir." an officer said. "Are the Dark Troopers in position outside?" the Lieutenant inquired. "Yes sir, all twelve Dark Troopers are in position and are now simply waiting for the arrival of the Mandalorian intruders."

"Good. Everything is set, soon enough those Mandalorians will walk into our trap and we'll decimate them." the Lieutenant proclaimed. He then proceeded to turn around and walked towards the front of the Bridge right Infront of it's viewports. From there he could see Starlyte Station at the distance. Already there was an ongoing standoff between the Black Fleet and some other Third-Party not affiliated with either the Final Dawn or the Black Fleet in which a shot was fired from the direction of the Station, indicating that there were more Black Fleet Warships in the area. Regardless Mithak was certain that by now, Reinforcements would most likely be on their way now thanks to the presence of a friendly Surveillance Ship in deeper in the system.

With the Black Fleet distracted by Third-Parties and the boarding party moving unopposed throughout the Black Ice, everything was set for a trap as there was no better opportunity, the Black Fleet would be caught off-guard and the so would the boarding party especially at how it would be easy to predict their next moves considering they were going after the heavily-protected bridge and the cargo bay holding the valuable beskar. By the end of the day, the Black Fleet and their allies would be dealt with, and the Final Dawn would emerge victorious

Akaan'gaan. The word rang within Laphistos mind, he recognized it and yet for some reason the word was escaping him. His face contorted from confusion to frustration before suddenly perking his head up at the hologram with surprise.

" Your mandalorians?. Iv heard your people had resorted to bounty hunting, I assure you the Lilaste order is not here to poach your bounty. I hope to one day visit mandalor and gaze upon the great veshok trees once again. " Shaking his head softly he would grip his chin softly in thought " alas it seems we share a similar goal when it comes to the sith."

Turning to his navigational officer briefly his eyes would flick to and from the hologram " put us out of weapons range but keep us moving, iv got a bad feeling about this"

Returning to the open comm channel he would look at the figures before him " we have no quarrels with the Mandalorians, but might I ask what are mandalorians doing so far away from mandalor, and what caused your Akaan'gaan against the sith? "

"Smart cookies, now... We should get our asses on the move, no?
"I've got point. We stick together until we know the enemy"

"Right behind you, rather handy to have a shield of Beskar in front of me after all."

With her cheeky bit out of the way, Jackal aims a carbine around Tayl as the Mandalorian takes the lead... It was only fair right? If you are gonna have that metal then it was best to use it, besides it protected Jackal's nice skin!

"Turn here, we should be closer to the prize by now... Anyone done a scan recently? I don't like how silent it has been, sure you have the alarms... But by this point I expected to be shot at."

She knew something was up, no resistance as they moved even closer to this supposed trove of treasure, doubt starts to grow in the Sangnir that this trove even existed.

Corbin activated low-observability mode and dropped out of hyperspace. He was pleased to see that Aloy and the crew had not left yet. He noticed Leenic's new ship. He hailed him, asking for news. Leenic filled him in on what was going on. Apparently there was also a third party present. Some draconic-looking fellow in Mandalorian armor that none of them knew. "How odd. Aloy and Tayl seem to have things in hand, so I think I'll go pay a visit to this dragon, see what he's about."
He flew toward the ship in question and hailed the captain. "Greetings! My name is Corbin Vasher. You seem to be a friendly, but you're not someone we know. Would you mind if I come aboard your ship and speak to you in person?"
After being given a positive confirmation, Corbin landed on this bigger ship, docking on some hardpoints. When he'd entered the ship, he was led to the captain, a towering dragoinoid man in low carbon beskar'gam. The man's Aura radiated like a Jedi. He was obviously learned in the Force. The odd thing was that his eyes had a bit of paleness to them, suggesting blindness, but he had a concentration of Force Aura behind his eyes, which suggested Force Sight. That meant he would only see Corbin as a non-sensitive person. Corbin gave a polite bow. "Pardon my asking, but do you see with Force Sight? As a token of trust, you should know that even though I may not seem so, I am a Force user as well. I see you wear the signet of Clan Ordo. Are you truly of that clan? Forgive me, but I've never heard of any dragon Mandalorians or Jedi. I myself am of Clan Vasher, a small clan that broke away from Clan Kelborn many years ago."

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Awaiting a response, the tension was cut short when his navigational officer spoke up, " sir, we have another ship exiting hyperspace, some freighter. They also seem to be hailing us?"

"put them on. " the moment he put Corbin on the holo, he would raise a brow at the direct request causing him to blink a few times, gripping his chin in thought before looking to his officer " give them permission to dock at one of the outer docking ports and have them brought up to the bridge." He had no quarrels with the Mandalorians in their mission or for whatever purpose they were this far from Mandalore. When a ship asked to dock with him, he was hesitant initially, but with three ships pointing their guns at him, he saw the opportunity. If this extra vessel was a part of their crew, then perhaps they won't fire upon him so long as they were docked aboard his ship. An asset he planned to use to his advantage, or at least to prevent himself from being fired upon for the time being.

Once the male was brought to the bridge, he would look down at them with a raised brow. Arms crossed over his chest. eyes glowing with a blue sheen as he peered at the man before him. The man knew of his force sight and recognized the signet of clan ordo. Immediately barraged with questions caught him off guard as he thought of answers to them all, leaving him to look at the man silently for a while before speaking. His eyes had little to no actual fading of color as he wasn't precisely blind in the sense of losing sight but more having a blurry vision like someone seeing without glasses. "well, considering I haven't been in the galaxy at large for near five thousand years I wouldn't be surprised no ones heard of me. Yes, I use force sight to see, considering carbonite sickness has all but blurred my natural vision. as for the signet, it's more. Honorary than official, if that makes any sense."
