STRENGTHS

	High Caliber: Utilizing PGEM's .48 caliber round in most variants, the M874-series can deal extreme damage due to the shear kinetic force behind the rounds they were meant for.
	Rugged: Built with simple and sturdy parts, The M874 series is reliable and considerably low maintenance compared to many modern slugthrowers.

WEAKNESSES

	Finish upkeep: While the rest of the M874 may be low maintenance, the Ori'ramikad wood must be treated with a special resin mixture every six months to retain it's strength. Luckily the weapon comes with am optional resin subscription.
	Aftermarket upgrades: With no mounting options, The M874 is difficult to modify with attachments and other aftermarket parts. Modifications should only be performed by a professional gunsmith.
	Exotic: Chambered exclusively in .48 Enforcer, The non-scattergun variants of the M874 are not modular, and must painstakingly rechambered to utilize other munitions. The .48 caliber enforcer rounds themselves are uncommon as it is.

DESCRIPTION
Named for the year it was created and designed in part by both Aloy Vizsla and Tayl Vizsla, The M874-series was the first ever slugthrower weapon created by the Black Hand Rifle Company to be sold on the market.
True to the company's values, The weapon was designed with both Bounty Hunters and homesteaders in mind. With this in mind, the weapon needed to be reliable despite it's rugged appearance, serving in the dusty streets or defending pastures on outer rim worlds.

For this duel purpose, The .48 Caliber Enforcer round was chosen, citing it's large caliber design as a means to fend off great beasts and Mawite raiders alike. Over the course of testing, the weapon was given a few variants to meet new challenges. The M874-L was made as a pistol-like alternative for closer engagements within the indoors, and it was found that in a pinch, the weapon could be operated mostly one handed. Next, The M874-S and M874-SL variants were created, taking .12g scattergun rounds to maximize their deadly efficiency in CQB environments, while the longer M874 "Classic" and M874-L retained their .48 Enforcer chambering to increase killing potential at longer ranges than their scattergun counterparts.

Overall, the M874-series was considered a company success, and a family bonding experience for both of it's Vizsla designers. Tayl Vizsla in particular expressed great satisfaction with the weapon's results and overall design.
