STRENGTHS
  • Tough as Nails and Twice as Sharp: You don’t become the enforcer of a Vigo without shedding your fair share of blood. Aurelius is no stranger to violence and the application of it, but is wise enough to know when spilling it is detrimental (though on occasion his temper overrides this).
  • Fireproof: Aurelius' Devaronian physiology makes him very resilient to fire damage.
  • Snake Bit Me, It Died: Being a Devaronian, he also boasts a high resistance to poisons and intoxicants.

WEAKNESSES
  • You Gotta Let it Go, Man: Aurelius has an extremely hard time dropping a grudge, no matter the slight.
  • Hair Trigger: Aurelius has a fiery temper, which he has trouble keeping in check at times.

APPEARANCE:
Aurelius, in his advancing age, has replaced his fully Devaronian body with a hybridized designer clone body using genetics from Zabraks, hence the additional smaller horns, as well as Morellians, explaining the hair. Like usual, he still garbs himself in expensive clothing and copious amounts of jewelry

BIOGRAPHY:
Born and raised on the mean streets of Nar Shaddaa, Aurelius has been a Street Kid through and through from the very beginning. Things started off small, robberies and hotwiring speeders, but soon enough graduated to more serious crimes. The crimes that change you, make you real criminal. Eventually, he attracted the attention of the Black Sun syndicate, and was recruited to join their ranks.

Eventually, Aurelius became an enforcer for a Vigo of Black Sun, the mobster’s personal skull-cracker. An ambitious skull-cracker, at that. He had dreams beyond his station, hopes of replacing his boss as one of the syndicate’s trusted Vigos, maybe even becoming the Underlord himself. He was always just on the cusp of success before it was pulled from him. The final carpet pull came when the syndicate was dissolved, leaving the Devaronian high and dry. He was then faced with the choice of going legit, turning informant, or breaking it out on his own. He had been in the life far too long to go legit, and he wasn't about to snitch on the syndicate's other members.

Using his connections and those of his Vigo, Aurelius clawed a criminal empire all his own out of the carcass of Black Sun, one that was his to command. No longer was he a slave to another man's whims, no more would he risk his life to put creds in anyone's pocket but his own. His fate, his life, was now his to command, held in the palm of his Shadow Hand.

But still, it’s not enough. No, not by a long shot. Aurelius has higher aims than being some two-bit mobster here and gone by next cycle. Much higher. His ultimate goal is to transform his Shadow Hand Cartel into the next Exchange, the next Black Sun, a criminal syndicate respected and feared across the underworld. The new Black Sun that has risen offered Aurelius a place in their ranks, but his time among them was short-lived when they reneged on their deal, and he was on his own once again.

At a Corellian Spike sabacc game on Abregado-Rae, Aurelius made friends with Confederacy High Marshal Kiff Brayde and Nyx N1X3, a female droid who he took a liking to fairly quickly. His endeavors as of late haven't been very high profile, with a single exception. When Aurelius caught word of the Galactic Alliance in the sector, trying to help evacuate civilians out of the path of the Bryn'adûl, he took the Venture-class Star Galleon he had recently purchased and flew it to Honoghr to aid in the evacuation efforts. His shiny new Venture came under attack from a Debaucher, a Bryn boarding vessel, but through determination and quick thinking he was able to destroy the ship, becoming one of the few to kill such a ship and live to tell the tale.

Since then, rather than settle down in one place Aurelius has turned the Star Galleon into a mobile base of operations, equal parts shadowport and skunkworks. Most recently, he was approached by Donna Ivory Stroud, a former associate from their time in Black Sun, who offered Aurelius a position in the rebirth of her syndicate The Family. Aurelius accepted, but not without preparing failsafes for if things fell apart again. He already had the rug pulled from under him once, and it will not happen a second time. For that reason, he refused to disband the Shadow Hand Cartel, continuing to operate it as he wished; he wasn't about to throw away years of hard work.

He has done a fine job of running his operations since joining up with The Family, opening up legitimate fronts to sell the fruits of his Shadowhand Skunkworks to a wider audience, while working to expand operations even more. Plans are being made for a spice facility on Sevarcos, with others sure to come soon.

Following the Second Hyperspace War, Aurelius noted that age was beginning to take its toll on him. Rather than let himself succumb to the ravages of time, Aurelius spared no expense in having a designer clone body created to transfer his mind into. This body includes genetics from Zabraks and Morellians, with a second heart and a greatly increased lifespan. Full of youthful vigor once again, he plans to take the underworld by storm.

GARAGE
Aurelius is an avid collector of bikes and speeders, and while much of his collection is comprised of vehicles hundreds of years old, he still keeps them tuned up and in good condition. Once a Street Kid, always a Street Kid, no matter the street you walk.

Lhosan Industries Daggerstar: One of the centerpieces of Aurelius' vast collection is a genuine Lhosan Industries Daggerstar swoop, with a certificate proving it came off of the assembly line in Taris' Lower City. While not by any means a rare vehicle for its time, the Daggerstar is over 4,000 years old at this point, and finding a functioning one was nothing short of a miracle. The swoop has been lovingly maintained

Mobquet M-68 Landspeeder Convertible: A classic among Corellian speeder circles, the M-68 is widely beloved for the ease of which its repulsorlift generator can be modified and overcharged. Aurelius' M-68 is heavily modified from factory standards at an Onami-chi underground garage, with overcharged repulsors and a modified frame, finished off with a custom paintjob. A real feisty ride with a nice, throaty engine.

Zebulon Dak Joben T-85 Custom: Some may call this junk, but Aurelius calls it treasure. An old speeder bike, souped up and tricked out to keep up with the new kids on the block, tied up with the bow of a sleek black and gold paintjob. Needs a tune-up, but he still loves it.

Silvercore speeder: A sleek, sexy, and most importantly, incredibly rare speeder. Legend says only twenty-four of 'em in existence, and that was about eight hundred years ago. Allegedly, this is one of them. If not, it's certainly a very good replica, good enough that Aurelius wouldn't be that bothered if it was a replica. Purrs like a kitten, rides like a dream.

This is only a small showcase of some of Aurelius' personal rides.
