DESCRIPTION
Shadowhand Skunkworks is a privately-owned Outlaw Tech "company", originally formed to supply his own Shadow Hand Cartel, but now happy to take on contracts from other clients and sell to a wider range of buyers. While run by a crime lord they are fairly benevolent; after all, too much heat would attract the authorities and even a mobile company can only run for so long. Blasters, slugthrowers, swoops, landspeeders, you name it, there's always something new being cooked up in the Skunkworks. The Skunkworks is akin to the way the Tenloss Syndicate operated, with front companies such as Handsome Devil and Speed Demon, legitimate businesses both supplying the demands of the Shadow Hand Cartel and the Family, as well as wider
clientele.

RATIONALE
Shadowhand Skunkworks is a weapons, armor, and vehicle manufacturing "company" run by Aurelius Baldor, a Devaronian crime lord. As a crime boss with many years under his belt, along with his stores of coaxium and spice, Aurelius was able to hire teams of underworld scientists to help him produce goodies galore for the syndicate and his allies. Formerly based on Kessel, Aurelius packed up and left when the Bryn came knocking and though they've since waned in power and Kessel is once again free territory, he doesn't plan on returning permanently. Since the Venture-class Star Galleon the Skunkworks call home was designed as an exploration vessel, it is incredibly self-sufficient, and as such Aurelius can relocate the ship when new resources or required or law enforcement gets too hot. With Aurelius' recent acceptance into The Family, the Skunkworks can only expand from here. The Skunkworks has since opened several legitimate business fronts, to provide extra income and provide assets for the Cartel and The Family.
