  • Automated: Like many vessels produced by Locke and Key Mechanics the Arjun is heavily automated, relying on the Aesir System and a wide variety of droids to allow the ship to run with a minimal crew.
  • Long-range Punch: All the weapons on the Arjun are designed to engage an enemy before they can hit you, laying a storm of damage onto an enemy vessel with the goal of bringing it down before it got into its attack range.
  • Reverse Thrusters: The Arjun’s engines are designed to let it drive in reverse or forward with an equal capability.

  • Small Crew: Due to the heavy automation of the Arjun, the crew complement is surprisingly tiny. Barely enough, in fact, to manage the critical system on the ship should the automation be neutralized.
  • Close Range terror: The Arjun is designed to engage targets at long range...and long-range alone. If enemies manage to get close to the ship, it’s slow-firing weapons, while packing a punch, would be unsuited to the speed of close-range combat and despite being well defended, it would be easy for the destroyer to find itself overwhelmed.
  • Flying Brick: Slow and lumbering, the Arjuna has all teh grace and speed of a throw brick. It won't be winning any races.

In his position as Minister of Science for the CIS, John started a program of modernization of the military capabilities of the Confederacy military. This modernization started with the fleet, but was to come to encompass all aspects of the military, allowing the already capable Conderacy war machine to achieve new levels of terrifying power.
The Arjuna Artillery Destroyer was Locke and Key Mechanics first product to be provided to the CIS as part of this new concept. Rather than build a ship that was capable of performing any task required the Arjuna embraced the concept of specialization, excelling in just one role on the battlefield, long-ranged combat. Every weapon on the ship, every system is designed to that end, to allow the ship to engage enemies across a battlefield and devastate them before they can ever get within weapons range of the Arjun.
Automation
Even within the ship, the Arjuna is designed to pack the maximum punch with the minimum cost, many of the ship’s systems are heavily automated, allowing the Arjuna to run with a minimal crew. While a plethora of droids helped to run the ship, the key to this heavy automation was Locke and Key’s signature Aesir Network. A set of powerful processors help to automate the majority of the ship’s systems, managed by an AI who would interface with the crew. Thanks to the Aesir, a significantly smaller team was required to manage the ship than would normally be expected for a ship the size of the Arjun.
The processing units were each responsible for managing one area of the ship, from weapons, to sensors, to security to engineering, and were directly responsible for handling the systems and instructing any droids assigned to the area. The crew would interface directly with the AI, who would then parse the data down to the specialised brain in question before answering for them. Data from the sensors and systems embedded around the ship was transmitted back to the central core located in the engineering section by optical fibres, allowing for a faster and more secure means of data transport. The combination of the Aesir and droids meant a huge number of Arjunas could be deployed with limited crew members, allowing the ship to act as a significant force multiplier.
Weapons
The Arjuna is built with one thing and one thing only in mind, engaging and destroying enemies at long range. The entire weapons package of the Arjun was built to engage enemies at extremely long-range, capable of delivering a massive burst of damage to the enemy before they have a chance to respond. The Arjun was constructed around the idea that the ideal way to handle modern defences it to have a wide variety of attack vectors. To that end, the Arjun is equipped with a wide variety of weapons. From pure energy to solar ionisation cannons, physical projectiles, plasma, ion and turbolasers. If there is a weakness in your defences the Arjun is capable of exploiting it, and if there isn’t, then it will just batter down your defences.

As they don't seem to be conflicting in terms of practical use, you will just need to clarify what happens when you activate Argo and Nemea at the same time for the sake of rating balance. Which speed rating becomes the default?
