DESCRIPTION
Initially commissioned by the nascent New Republic, and built from the disassembled Imperial warships captured during the Battle of Endor, the Starhawk-Class Battleship was one of the first non-Mon Calamari warships that served within the New Republic Defence Force. As materials were scarce, and budgets were tight, the New Republic Senate found itself finally coming to an agreement in regards to re-purposing Imperial war material to take the fight to what remained of the Emperor's ever-lasting legacy. From this new initiative, the conceptual origins of the Starhawk were born. While it's uncertain what inspired those ancient technical architects, or how many variants they rifled through to achieve their final result; what is known, was just how powerful these battleships were. Heavily armed, and equipped with tractor beams - allegedly ten times more powerful than the Imperial-standard, the Starhawk was truly a juggernaut amongst the stars.

It was this legacy that the Republic Engineering Corporation sought to reignite with a warship that would become the Starhawk's spiritual successor. However, to embark on such a project with the materials on hand would've been ludicrous. The Republic Engineering Corporation never made a warship of that size before. Sure, they've done refits on several former First-Imperial battlecruisers, but those were warships that were already built and didn't require them to be built from scratch. They needed raw materials and the proper facilities in which to house this new, and prosperous endeavour. The latter was easy enough, as there were many scattered facilities drifting out in the depths of space - waiting for new masters to lay claim to them.

In their quest to find the required material needed to create the first generation of what would eventually be called Starhawk III's - the nascent Shipwright looked to the remnants of the First Order, and their once-proud navy. Due to the collapse of their government and subsequent withdrawal into exile, there was a plethora of derelict warships and salvage populating their former spheres of influence. Precisely what the Corporation would need, not only to adhere to the storied legacy of the Starhawk - but for the production of their successors as well. To that end, the Republic Engineering Corporation contracted nearly a dozen salvage teams, alongside elements of the Golden Company to act as their security detail - and additional transport if required.

With several wrecks and derelict hulks in tow, the twinned shipwrights began disassembling their newfound prizes into their component parts and materials, before reforging them anew with the intent of making them better. The First-Imperial technology - what wasn't destroyed or damaged beyond repair - was folded into a blessed technological union with Thyrsian and Coruscanti brilliance. Their finished product, in many ways, was considerably larger than originally intended as the actual dimensions of the first generation Nadiri battleships were nebulous at best. However, such a feat of engineering was made possible due to the amount of material provided by the captured Resurgent - Class Star Destroyers that made their way into the shipwrights' possession.

From the ashes of the First Order's Navy, and of the various Imperial Warlords that came after, came the Starhawk III - Class Battleship, or more colloquially known amongst the Coruscanti as the Mark Three Starhawk.

Utilizing the same "hatchet"-like sensor profile of the Original Starhawk, the twinned shipwrights did their best to replicate the ancient warship's design; albeit with several minor, quality of life changes. The first of these notable changes was the laser-reflective panels that shrouded the myriad turrets dotting the warship's frame, and the critical systems (aside from the communications and sensor towers) that couldn't be mounted internally. With that reflective armour in place, the warship would find itself more than adequately protected from nimble strike fighters - should they manage to weave through the impressive and comprehensive point defence network. The second of those notable changes was the Carbon-Durasteel hull plating with the secondary layer of Turadium plating, which would ensure that the Starhawk III - Class Battleship would live up to - and eventually surpass - their predecessors legacy.

The rest of the changes were hidden behind armoured bulkheads and bright - clean curves that formed the vast majority of the warship's interior corridors. Warm and inviting lights were fitted throughout the vessel in an attempt to become the polar opposite of a standard Imperial starship. While many would consider it a foolish design choice - it was believed that the pseudo-ivory bulkheads would significantly improve morale among the personnel stationed aboard the battleship. However, that was mere speculation in the grand scheme of things, but one couldn't deny the positivity felt by staring at a blank, well-lit canvas. In addition to the interior spinal corridors appearing as the polar opposite of standard seen in most Imperial warships, a majority of the warship's systems were entirely automated; effectively cutting down on the required personnel and increasing the quality of life for those that resided aboard. With a majority of the warships systems governed by automation, the Starhawk II came with a central computer core - which permitted the installation of an artificial intelligence; which in turn would guide and direct their subservient systems at the Captain's behest.

Thus, with the impressive complement of weapons, defences, and internal systems the Starhawk III - Class Battleship was poised to become one of the most advanced pocket dreadnoughts to ever serve within the Alliance Navy - and the select clientele of the Republic Engineering Corporation.

DESCRIPTION
In the aftermath of the Core-Imperial Confederation’s sudden, and inexplicable collapse, the Republic Engineering Corporation found itself in possession of a priceless artifact. It was a functioning database that possessed the ancient schematics of vessels that were long-forgotten by the Galaxy at large. Every warship and starfighter that ever served the Old Republic were now in the hands of those that had the skills to give their venerable designs new life within the modern era. As more and more code was translated from one database to another, the various design teams within the Shipwright Division began rolling out their newfound designs to the Board of Directors; who ultimately gave them the green light to pursue the various items that were attached to Project: Restoration.

Whilst several design teams found themselves in possession of ancient schematics for the largest vessels within the Old Republic’s navy, there was a team that found itself tasked with re-creating the smaller vessels. The intent was to flesh out a prospective customer’s navy with combat-capable warships that would be able to fit a variety of roles, but within their respective classifications for costing and staffing purposes. Much to the chagrin of Warlord’s across time and space, there was no such thing as a perfect warship. Thus, as it ever was, entire armada’s were populated by warships that filled a multitude of roles - each seeking to cover the weakness of their sister ships.

And so, the REC-AU01 "Prosecutor" - Class Planetary Assault Ship was designed to emulate the successes of the Acclamator, and bring that ancient warship up to the strict, and demanding standards of the modern era.

Thus, the design team set themselves to the task of making the interior of the warship as modular as possible, so that it could swap between two variants that were capable of fulfilling various roles on the battlefield. The first and most notable form of the “Prosecutor” was the dedicated Starfighter carrier - which would act as a capable force projection platform. The other variant would serve as a capable transport and support platform that’d assist their complement of ground forces as they carried out a planetary invasion; by either ferrying them from one warzone to the next or acting as a heavily reinforced orbital command platform.

With the "Prosecutor" entering galactic service, the warship would undoubtedly serve as the foundation of force projection for many flotilla’s and task force’s alike.

And so, the REC-LC01 “Negotiator” - Class Light Cruiser was created. The basis of the schematic was the venerable Arquitens, which served the Old Republic’s navy in an anti-ship and anti-fighter capacity. Such traits on the battlefield were commendable, and thus would be uplifted when the warship was brought into the modern era. Being capable of engaging starships and starfighters alike was a valuable aspect of spatial warfare that couldn’t be readily dismissed. Therefore, the design team sought to embrace these aspects and elevate them towards the pinnacle of perfection. To that end, the warship was outfitted with a multitude of weapons that allowed it to operate under several mission profiles; ranging from anti-starfighter to heavy escort cruisers.

Thus, with the “Negotiator” entering galactic service, the warship would undoubtedly serve as the backbone of many flotilla’s and task force’s alike.

DESCRIPTION
Utilizing the Drydocks of the Foerost Shipyards, the MC25c Stormsinger - Class Corvette was the first of many warships that would be produced by the Free Dac Engineering Corps and their various affiliated Corporate Cousins. While many Mon Calamari vessels in the past were converted from Civilian craft, somewhere along the line the many people of Dac began creating legitimate warships to not only defend their world but the various iterations of the Republic thereafter. The Wavecrasher - Class Corvette was a continuation of that newfound direction and would blend various technologies from several outside sources - creating something entirely new for the modern era.

While the MC25 Spaceframe was designed to be wholly modular and allowed for a more versatile approach towards it’s outfitting - several of the designs weren’t purpose-built warships. In fact, they were designed to fill a multitude of roles on the spatial battlefield. However, the Wavecrasher was one of the first warships that went against the grain. It didn’t follow in the footsteps of those warships that shared the MC25 Spaceframe. Instead, the Corvette found much of it’s internalized space devoted towards acting as a mobile Strike Carrier. The Wavecrasher was capable of carrying a small selection of Starfighters, but there were some notable flaws that came into play regarding recovery and maintenance. Especially with the current MC25 Spaceframe.

Due to the slimmer profile, alongside its heavily armoured husk, traditional and cavernous hangar bays were out of the question. It would’ve been impossible to fit that many Strike Craft into the standard MC25 Spaceframe. Thus, the FDEC Shipwrights elected to upscale the design to allow for their desired additions. The change in the overall structure allowed for the implementation of the traditionalist hangar bays, alongside the modular rack and deployment system(s) seen in many Coruscanti designs. These additions gave the Wavecrasher a larger overall appearance but expanded on its mission profile - allowing it to fill the Pocket Carrier niche that was woefully under-represented across the Galaxy.

Coupled with the extended sensor profile, alongside the host of internalized systems, the Wavecrasher finds itself blessed with an orderly network of components that complement one another; allowing for smooth operation in both times of Peace and War.

DESCRIPTION
The REC-SS02 X-wing Space Superiority Starfighter was the next generation of X-wing Starfighters offered by the Republic Engineering Corporation, for sole and exclusive use by the nascent Galactic Alliance. As one can imagine, the SS02 was the successor to the previously produced SS01 model, which took the tried-and-true design of the infamous X-wing and elevated it to new heights. A majority of the improvements and aesthetic changes were found on the exterior of the craft - as the design mimicked the T-85 models that were produced, and pushed into service near the twilight hours of the first New Republic’s galactic reign. The laser cannons, while advanced and retaining much of the lethality of traditional heavy weapons, were admittedly smaller - leading many to believe that their power was stunted.

Thanks in part to the technological genius and various advances in the fields of micronization, the SS02’s weapons were deadlier than ever.

When it came to the spaceframe proper, the SS02 featured a more robust and slim profile in an attempt to reduce the strain on the frame, and the pilot thereafter when performing evasive maneuveres in the depths of space, or embraced by a gravity well. What most considered to be an oddity of the design was the wings that gave the craft it’s titular appellation; as their design allowed for less resistance to be applied onto the craft when the S-foils were locked together in Cruise mode. While it would take some Pilots a measure of time to get accustomed to the overall design, they would find themselves swiftly becoming the masters of the spatial battlefield, if given the opportunity.

From there, the SS02 found itself heavily armed in comparison to the SS01. In addition to the standard armament found on the most basic of X-wing Starfighters, the SS02 was outfitted with a brace of dual heavy ion cannons that were located on the fuselage beneath the cockpit. While the adjustable emitters on the laser cannons were capable of constantly modifying the point of beam convergence, there was always a small gap that other starfighters could exploit in some fashion or another. So, with the brace of ion cannons affixed to the exterior of the Starfighter, the design team effectively eliminated the potential gap in their sphere - the SS02 would make short work of anyone within their sights.

To add to that impressive array of weapons, the SS02 was also equipped with a twin blaster bubble turret at the rear-section of the Starfighter - which would be capable of shooting down any homing ordnance that was lucky enough to have achieved a target-lock.

When it came to the internal systems of the SS02, the Starfighter was outfitted with the most advanced, or top of the line sensors, targeting systems, and communication systems - which would give the Pilot a definitive edge over their opposition. Coupled with the heavily automated systems, minor structural regenerative properties, semi-aware repair drones, and a myriad of other systems - the SS02 was more than capable of being operated by a solitary Pilot without the need of an Astromech Droid to support them. However, that wasn’t to say there wasn’t room on the Starfighter for an Astromech - as the bond that was often forged between a Pilot and their Droid made for a seemingly unstoppable duo amongst the stars.

Thus, with the SS02 in hand - the Pilots of the Galactic Alliance would find themselves equipped and outfitted with one of the most advanced starfighters in the Galaxy; capable of sweeping any and all opposition.
