OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent:
To flesh out Enyo's clone posse.
Role: Sister to Enyo and Amara, team machinist, engineer, technopath.
Permission: Permission for all ArmaTech gear and all other subs made by Laira Darkhold's writer here and here.
Links: Enyo Typhos, Amara Zarides, Arabesque.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Age:
Less than a year. But being a clone she has the body of a woman in her early twenties.
Force Sensitivity: Knight
Species:
Cloned Human.
Appearance: Thuella resembles a younger Tempest. She is a tall, attractive woman with dark skin and white hair. She wears her hair short. Though physically fit, she is considerably less robust and athletic than her mirror because she has not spent a life time fighting and hits the gym less. This is no surprise since she is not a soldier. Her work out regime is that of a civilian who wants to stay slim and fit, not of a soldier. Furthermore, she lacks the scars Tempest sustained as a slave or on the battlefield.

There is a small white scar in the spinal area though because Archangel implanted her with a chip there to control her. The device was surgically removed after her sisters rescued her. She keeps the implant in her workshop. She is a lot more fashion-conscious and a trendier dresser than her mirror. She dresses well and gets her clothes from reputable boutiques in the better part of town. Enyo, being a puritan with no interest in looking trendy, lectures her about 'frivolous, pointless vanity'. She'll usually wear a scientist's lab coat or a women's business suit when at work. Recently, Thuella transferred her consciousness into a
NeuroDigital Matrix. She still uses her original body, as the matrix is embedded inside her spine.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
Name:
Thuella
Loyalties: Archangel Research and Design, Iron Fist Consortium, Revenant Industries, Typhos Clone Family, Enyo Typhos.

Wealth: The clone family controls a large corporation and a number of illicit businesses now. As a highly-placed member, Thuella has access to notable resources, though Enyo sets her a budget and expects her to keep her expenses in line. Thuella is not above using her big sister's name to get 'discounts' from merchants paying 'protection'. Owners of fashion boutiques who pay protection money to Enyo's illicit enterprises are particularly eager to provide her with 'gifts' or sell her clothes below market price in order to curry favour. The clone is no spendthrift, but not ascetic like her sister.
Notable Possessions:

  • A rather quirky, trollish R2 Droid called R2-S6. Thuella found it on the scrap heap and rebuilt it. Much to Enyo's annoyance, she has refused to mind wipe it, finding its eccentricities endearing.
  • She has living quarters and a laboratory on Space Dock 7.
  • A Reaper Class Assassin Droid built by her. Serves as a protector. Sometimes she uses the killing machine to obtain tech she would otherwise not have access to. Sometimes this also involves abducting researchers who absolutely must cooperate with her. She calls the droid Werner, much to Enyo's annoyance.
  • A Fenris Cyber Mastiff. She calls it Luthor. Thuella tends to skin it so that it looks like a kath hound. Enyo grumbles about Thuella treating it too much like a pet rather than the robot it is.
  • A few ACS-301 YVH Probe Droids.
  • X7-B "Checkmate" Holdout Disruptor and a Shadow Gun.
  • NeuroDigital Matrix. Contains her consciousness.
  • Collection of fancy dresses, suits and shoes.
  • Shares an apartment with Callisto Scarlett on Denon.
  • A X1b Asclepius Droid called Marina. Programmed to act as an assistant in the lab and someone she can discuss tech design ideas with. Accompanies Thuella to science conferences and similar occasions.
  • Lightsabre with bifurcating cyclical ignition pulse and other standard systems.
Skills: Thuella is the scholar and tech expert of the people. She has a strong interest in nanotechnology, slicing, electronics, droid and weapons' design. These are fields she has become very skilled in. She has designed or been heavily involved in designing new war machines for the Iron Fist Consortium and Archangel. Now that Enyo has assumed direct control of Archangel, she has a big laboratory and a large budget. When Enyo gets damaged in combat, Thuella tends to act as her mechanic and fix her up.

Thuella is fluent in Binary and has a strong affinity for machines. In addition, she is a Force-User. However, her talents diverge strongly from those of her template. Like Tempest, Thuella can summon and control Lightning and utilise Telekinesis, but she is a scholar rather than a warrior. She can defend herself, but focuses more on cerebral skills.

She is very talented in the use of Mechu-Deru, Electronic Manipulation and Psychometry. She can use Force Stealth to conceal her Force presence or alignment. Recently Thuella has manifested an interest in Alchemy. With Enyo's help, she has been able to acquire some holocrons on it. She is still learning, but has displayed significant enthusiasm.

Personality: Thuella is studious, thoughtful, dedicated and most at home in a library or workshop. She is a very learned, immensely curious individual. Most of her attention is focused on the hard sciences. Chemistry, droid design and cybernetics are of special interest to her. She is emotionally balanced and sweet, but a bit socially awkward and has a tendency to get overly absorbed in her work. She is very passionate about it. Thuella likes pretty things and is a trendier dresser than 'brood mother' Enyo.

Lacking her template's real world experience, she only has flash memory to draw upon, which makes her more than a little naive. Thuella is aware of her counterpart, though the two have never met and she only has limited information to draw upon. Lacking the psychological issues Amara and Enyo have regarding their mirrors, she is more than a little curious about her, but determined not to follow down Tempest's path. She has taken an interest in her template's homeworld though and studied its culture and history a lot. Her opinion of it is a bit mixed. While no snob, her smarts do give her a bit of a superiority complex. She feels some pressure to prove that she can help out her family by using her brain rather than the brawn many of her siblings employ.

Thuella disapproves of sadism and gratuitous cruelty. However, some of Enyo's mentality has rubbed off on her. Because she has not had an institutional upbringing, Thuella is more likely to see her ends as the goals rather than the other way around. Knowledge, security and strength are ends in themselves and if she has to make moral compromises on the way, well, they might be an acceptable compromise. She will try to avoid or minimise harm where possible, but if push comes to shove her goals seem more important to her.

Thuella is being raised by someone who believes her ends justify the means. This has affected her world view, especially since Enyo's methods worked. The clones broke their chains and triumphed over their creators. Moreover, she wants to impress her elder sister and contribute to the continued success, security and prosperity of her family. However, she dislikes some of the criminal elements Enyo associates with and has tried to gently influence her sister to discard them, using the argument that they are unreliable and the family does need them now. This does not translate into making a moral stand though. Thuella has not personally murdered or tortured anyone. She is a genuinely friendly approachable person. However, she reaps the benefits of the family's amoral activities and does not take a moral stand against them. Indeed, her inventions help enable them. In short, she is complicit and thus evil herself, but not a mad scientist out of holovids.

Regarding her relationship with Enyo, the 'brood mother' of the clones has a tendency to dote on Thuella. At least as far as the cyborg is capable of doting on anyone. Thuella just assumes this is her older sister being nice. Little does she know that Enyo murdered her predecessor. While the cyborg did this under compulsion, she feels a lot of guilt about it, and this reflects in the fact that she shows Thuella a degree of favouritism. Thuella is one of the few organics Enyo allows to act as a mechanic and repair damage her shell has sustained.

Enyo has even taught her the basics of mechu-deru, which shows a lot of trust since it is a power that could be easily turned against the cyborg. This enables the clone to assist her elder sister when it comes to repairing, manipulating or building machines and creating cybernetic implants. Thuella understands droidspeak and can often be found talking to her servitor droids. This bothers Enyo a little, since in her opinion Thuella treats them too much like people. For her part, the Dahomian clone has become good at reading Enyo and understanding her way of thinking. This no small feat, since Enyo tends to be stoic and closed-off.

Thuella gets on well with most of her clone siblings. It helps that she is mainly interested in pursuing scientific endeavours and stays out of the struggles for influence. This means that she does not clash with Alexia and Valerian, who are both highly ambitious and compete for the privilege of being Enyo's second. Both Valerian and Thuella enjoy stimulating intellectual debate, but they have different fields of expertise. So they are not in direct competition and can respect the others' accomplishments without feeling threatened. They may sometimes complain about Enyo 'spoiling' her though. Thuella finds Thalia uncouth and annoying. Caoimhe is grateful to Thuella for saving her life, but feels she follows Enyo's lead too much. In her view, the clone has become too fixated on proving herself and pursuing technical brilliance in her chosen field, while ignoring the amoral ventures the family is engaged in.

Thuella has a close relationship with Callisto Scarlett, her bodyguard. Callisto is an HRD, but acts a lot more 'human' than many replicants, even when she is not on a mission. This is the result of her being created via a modified entechment process. Thuella encourages this, and somehow managed to persuade Enyo to let Callisto have her own room on Space Dock 7.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon of Choice:
The Force, slicing, lightsabre and blaster if necessary. Carries a hold-out blaster. She generally has some war droids to do the heavy lifting for her.

Combat Function: She is a support player. Although she knows how to defend herself, Thuella is no warrior at heart. Her template might be a skilled practitioner of Djem So and able to summon thunderstorms, but Thuella would prefer to spend her time reading a book or tinkering in a workshop. However, as big sister Enyo keeps telling her, the Galaxy is a dark, bleak place, and the weak do not survive. Nonetheless, she is not a combat orientated character. To a large degree, she fights by puppeting machines, taking advantage of her affinity for mechu-deru.

She can assemble droids from scrap parts to fight for her. Her powers enable her to control and coordinate them through thought alone. Her slicing skills are also useful, as she can hack computers to gain information, bypass and overcome security systems or turn them against her enemies. This is particularly using in infiltration missions. Her skill with psychometry makes her a useful asset for intelligence gathering and investigations.

In combat, she can use basic telekinesis and harness electricity, allowing her to summon blasts of lightning. Mechu-deru gives her the ability to manipulate droids, machinery and electronic systems. She knows the basics of lightsabre combat and blaster use, but would suffer when fighting elite soldiers or if she's outnumbered. She can use the Force to temporarily disable a holocam or produce an unnaturally bright flash of light to temporarily blind opponents. Her telekinetic powers are decent, but classical rather than exceptional - think Knight level practitioner in the Original Trilogy and prequels.

When forced to use a sabre, she fights defensively, more often than not relying on Soresu. She's also not very physically strong, so she cannot overwhelm an opponent through brute force. In short, she is primarily deployed in a support role. In combat she will use her lightning powers and skill as a technomancer to support her abilities. Her skills are particularly useful against droids and enemies who rely heavily on tech.

Strengths:

  • Accomplished slicer and technomancer. Particularly strong against droids and tech-reliant enemies. Able to puppet, sabotage or manipulate machines. She also has an affinity for elemental lightning.
  • Her consciousness has been uploaded to a NeuroDigital Matrix. The device can be removed from her body and be stored in another organic or droid body through a relatively mundane procedure. This is helpful if her original body suffers severe injury...provided the device is recovered intact.
Weaknesses:
  • Average duellist. Thuella knows the basics of lightsbare combat, but that is about it. When forces to use her sabre, she mostly fights defensively. She is not physically strong, so she cannot overwhelm an opponent, and since she is primarily a researcher, she does not have the reflexes of an elite soldier.
  • Limited skill with heavy weapons.
  • The NeuroDigital Matrix is shielded, but sufficient blunt force trauma or blaster fire can damage it. If the device is destroyed, the consciousness inside it will go wherever people go when they perish. She can still experience 'true death' all the time due to having their matrix blown out. Once the body is defenceless it is really just a few extra blaster bolts after the shooting stops, assuming it was not hit in the first place. The matrix would still need to be recovered undamaged in order to be installed in a new body. Transfer to another body in the middle of a battlefield is not feasible.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Tempest was born on the tropical world of Dahomey that had regressed to a pre-industrial state during the Dark Age. She lived a hard life, learning from an early age to hunt and fight. Enslaved by foreign warlords, she was awakened to the Force when she used her gift to smite her tormentors. Finally freed when an Omega Pyre liberation force defeated the warlords, she became close to Siobhan Kerrigan and Tegaea Alcori. Eventually, she joined Firemane Industries and became Siobhan's student, rising to the rank of Master.

The Storm Mistress is unaware of the fact that she has a clone. Archangel Research and Design, a droid supremacist cult masquerading as a legitimate droidmaker, has long sought to harness Force-sensitives with the aim of creating slave-soldiers since droids cannot use the Force. Enyo Typhos and Amara Zarides represented the first generation of Force clones created by Archangel. When they went rogue, the next generation was already being grown. Tempest's first clone was also named Thuella. But she was murdered by a brainwashed Enyo moments after she was born, for the amoral HRDs sacrificed her to test the loyalty of their lobotomised slave. Alas, Enyo would eventually defect for good after her masters pushed her too far.

Meanwhile, Thuella Mk2 was being grown in Archangel's secret facility, alongside a whole batch of clones. She was given the best conditioning and flesh memory induction that Archangel could produce. This was supposed to ensure that she would awaken knowing everything she needed to know, and could be trained to be a living weapon. The first task of the clone squad would have been to terminate the traitors.

Alas, said traitors struck first. Allying with the Contingency, Enyo launched a full-scale assault on Archangel's secret base. Though powerful, the machine cult's forces were more equipped for stealth and subversion, and their fleet could not match that of the Shards. Storming the base, Enyo duelled and destroyed Maelion Liates, while Amara liberated the surviving clones. Thus Thuelle woke up in very different circumstances than she would have expected. Long story cut short, she was informed that everything she had been told was a lie and that Archangel was her enemy. All things considered, she took it rather well.

As has been proven time and again, organics are rather difficult to control, no matter how much time you invest moulding them. Thus Thuella soon manifested a personality that diverged strongly from that of her template. Whereas Tempest is a warrior woman, Thuella is studious, introspective and a bit of an introvert. While she has received combat training like all of the clones and is able to defend herself, she is mainly interested in scholarly pursuits.

In addition, she has also displayed a gift with machines, making her an ideal mechanic. Eventually, she was given a position in the R&D Department of Revenant Industries, a company run by her stern sister Enyo. To broaden her knowledge, she's been attending classes at a university on Carida under an alias. Though she has the body of a grown woman, Thuella wa still very much a child, and finding her place in the world. While trying to satisfy her immense curiosity, Thuella prepared for the first great challenge of her life: the final battle against Archangel.

At first Thuella spent most of her time on the sidelines of the conflict. She was a support player and tech expert, so she used those skills to aid her family. She studied and reprogrammed Archangel droids, helped her sister Enyo design cybernetic implants to augment her minions and helped design weapons. For a while she supervised construction of IG droids in a factory Enyo had secretly acquired on Mechis.

However, she soon found herself doing field work. This was partly to prove herself, but also because Enyo expected her siblings to show they could defend themselves. She aided Enyo and her sister Alexia in infiltrating a space station held by rogue Mandalorians at Nespis VIII. The Mandalorians were part of a militant group of Force hunters. The Sith Empire launched an assault on their base, as it covered sensitive tech the rogue possessed. While the two groups clashed, Enyo, her minions and her sisters infiltrated the Mandalorians' space station.

Thuella was able to put her slicing skills to good use to aid in the infiltration, but was forced into a confrontation with a Mandalorian warrior. The Mandalorian was stronger and tougher than her, and attacked her with a flamethrower. She managed to avoid most of the flames, but lost her lightsabre. He overpowered her in melee, but she blasted him with Lightning and shot him with an ion paddle beamer concealed in her wrist. The she sent her lightsabre soaring towards his neck. It was her first kill.

She had no time to contemplate this, for a hail of blaster bolts suddenly shot towards her. Before any could reach her, Enyo suddenly appeared in front of her, blocking the path of the hail. First she crushed the gun, then she lifted the Mandalorian and broke his neck. When she turned towards her sister, Thuella saw that Enyo's face was a mess of synthetic flesh, circuits and metal. "There are no do-overs in a fight. Always pay attention to your environment," Enyo told her without emotion, and all Thuella could do was nod meekly, out of breath. The team was able to complete its mission and obtain some valuable data. Thuella also got some gadgets to study. For a while she returned to her laboratory. She returned to field work when Enyo assigned her and Amara to infiltrate an Archangel base on Hoth. The mission was under the command of Darth Libertas, an enigmatic Twi'lek Sith Lord who had forged a partnership with Enyo.

Thuella made the acquaintance of Maris Fero, a young but dangerous ganger from Vorzyd whom Enyo had taken under her wing. Libertas saw the potential that Maris could make a good Sith. Amara was uncomfortable around Libertas because her template, Kaelin Isandros, had been a sadistic Sith. Ironically, Libertas had known Kaelin during their time in the service of the old Sith Empire and considered her a failure. Thuella found the Sith Lady's penchant for lecturing patronising, especially when the Sith Lady needled her about her lack of combat skills and brought up her template. She eventually realised that the Twi'lek was trying to push her buttons. There was a lot of tension between Amara and Libertas, leaving Thuella caught in the middle.

Libertas took the time to pass on advice to Thuella, Amaa and Maris, whether they wanted to have it or not. The mission was very dangerous, and it was revealed that Archangel was working on advanced war machines. When the quartet managed to infiltrate the base, they discovered a chamber filled with clones still being grown in clone tanks. However, though they tried, they were unable to save them. Thuella was deeply troubled by this, though Enyo commended her for completing the mission. Sometimes hard choices had to be made and Thuella had shown how dedicated she was to her family. The team faced fierce resistance in form of Archangel war droids and prototypes, but was able to obtain valuable data.

However, shortly thereafter Archangel assaulted Enyo's group with its new designs, having entered into an alliance with the remnants of the Contingency. These wanted revenge on Enyo for betraying them during the Battle of Tartatus. The losses sustained forced Enyo to enter into an alliance of convenience with Eldorai exiles, who had been targeted by Archangel as well. Thuella was part of the final battle when Archangel's old régime was overthrown. She used her technopathic prowess to conduct sabotage and turn war droids against their masters, contributing to her family's victory.

Moira Skaldi was destroyed during the fighting and Enyo confronted her mirror, the second clone of Siobhan Kerrigan. In the aftermath of the fighting, Enyo and Amara parted ways. Enyo assumed control of Archangel. Thuella stayed with her older sister. She was assigned to the R&D section, where she soon got to work. She helped Enyo revive Caoimhe, the second clone of Siobhan Kerrigan, who had been left in a vegetative state since Archangel activated a control chip when she broke her conditioning.

However, Thuella's ambition, familial loyalty and fascination with the power of science blinded her to ethical questions. She did not administer violence personally, and preferred to conduct tests on people who 'deserved it'. However, she profited from her family's criminal activities and did not ask questions about where the money came from. Several of her test subjects were procured via Archangel's fledgling private prison industrial complex. They tended to be convicts on the death row.

Thuella was responsible for designing the Reaper Class and Neutraliser Assassin Droid and helped Enyo create the Wraith Class Elite Fighter, a new starfighter that utilised Archangel's entechment tech. In addition, she took a leading role in the science team that created the NeuroDigital Matrix, which Archangel is advertising as a way for people to 'get the body of their dreams'. Designs that used this technology included starfighters and labour drones. Thuella took it a step further than many scientists by using the technology on herself. This has brought her closer in nature to Enyo, since her essence has been transferred to the device. Enyo was both touched and annoyed.

Overall she's an apprentice, which applies to all her powers. If we were to grade them individually, then mechu-deru would be Advanced since most of her training has gone into it, whereas the others would be Basic to Trained.

In numerical terms, on a scale of 1 -5, mechu-deru is at 2- 3, whilst the others are 1- 2.
