“Oh, now? Okay, of course, Lady Director!” Ivixa answered in a slightly surprised tone. Indeed, she had suggested taking the test now beforehand, but the Asa’nyx had not expected that it would happen now. Regardless, now more than ever, Ivixa was ready. She had not come aboard the Eternal Silence, knowing that she would be assessed to join the ranks of a secretive intelligence organization, without being prepared. And so, Ivixa dropped down from her chair and followed the director out to the hallway. There, the two women passed Ultranauts, crewmen, and a pair of Blackwatch Agents as they moved to the turbolifts. Given her diminutive size and bright hue, Ivixa attracted stares everywhere she went, though she was happy to see that the Eternal Empire was just as racially diverse as the Agents of Chaos. Nevertheless, humans almost always made up the majority and the Eternal Empire seemed to be no different in that regard.

Once they reached the simulation room, Ivixa looked to the director, before taking a deep breath as she took in the venue. Ivixa had done similar exercises in the Wild Hunt, but she could only guess as to what the Blackwatch would have in store for her.

“I think I’d like to start with the practical test, Lady Director.” Ivixa answered, seemingly eager to demonstrate her physical fitness, marksmanship, and other soldierly skills to the director. Upon being given permission, Ivixa moved towards the weapon rack, swapping her pulse pistol for a
FAE/W-01 sniper rifle and a X8 disruptor pistol, before setting both weapons to stun. The rifle (and to an extent, even the pistol) seemed comically large in her hands, but having lived in a world meant for beings bigger than her for all of her life, Ivixa was accustomed to the weight. However, not having her armor made a noticeable difference as the strength-enhancing features made bearing such weapons significantly easier.

“Is the test going to be live fire?” She asked.

The Eternal Empire was strict and military, yet slavery was completely rejected and racism was not present. It didn’t matter who was a member of which species or what descent. Everyone had the same rights and equality. This was also true of the law, the Barons, Baronesses, or even the Imperial family itself were given the same punishment for the same transgression and crime like a common civilian who could not even vote because they were never a soldier. No one was above the law here.

"All right!"

He said, with a nod to the fact that she wanted to take the practical exam first. The question was logical, but they were not Sith, that only the best have a raison d’être to survive. So no, only droids and target droids were just in there, and for that reason, hopefully, the exam will run without any injury.

"Inside, every opponent, civilian, or person is a droid, so you can safely use live fire, but they only use a toner cartridge or a stun mode. Our goal is not to hurt or kill the candidate."

In the end, she pointed her hand to the door so she could start the exam whenever she wanted.

“Understood, Lady Director.”

With a deep breath, Ivixa checked the power cells on the weapons, before taking a few extra cells and strapping them onto her utility belt in the event that she ran low on ammo. While she didn’t anticipate that it would be an issue, as she would only be firing them on stun, having trained with both weapons before, she knew that they had dreadfully small ammunition capacities. Nevertheless, if anything, the power cells helped her peace of mind.

Once the cells were strapped onto her belt, Ivixa put in her sonic nullifiers and brought the rifle to bear, before moving through the door, into the simulation area.

“Scenario active.”

The feminine voice of the administrative artificial intelligence sang out across the simulation room, echoing off of the walls with an eerie resonance that Ivixa found oddly pleasurable, as the insides of her sensitive ears seemed to vibrate in response. Moments later, the enemy soldiers appeared before Ivixa’s eyes, with civilians interspersed throughout the area.

Without delay, Ivixa moved to engage.

Staring down the sights of her rifle, Ivixa held her breath and lined the crosshairs up with her first target, an armed soldier who seemed to be moving towards a civilian. Her rifle gave a high-pitched report as she squeezed the trigger, bringing the man down with a single bolt to the upper chest, before quickly pulling the bolt recharger to ready another shot. After less than a split-second, the rifle was ready and Ivixa had placed her crosshairs over a second soldier. Squeezing the trigger once more, the stun beam struck her target in the neck within the same moment, now having taken down two enemy soldiers in less than two seconds.

Already, she could see the enemy moving for cover as suppressive fire was directed her way, forcing Ivixa to do the same. She pulled the bolt recharger as she did, before diving to another piece of cover, taking full advantage of her diminutive stature to keep out of sight. However, upon peeking, her eyes were met with the sight of a pair of enemy soldiers gathering up civilians as hostages, with one grabbing a man and using him as a human shield.

Immediately, the wheels in her mind began to turn as she contemplated how to deal with the threat...

"Oh apologies, mylord, I am Vreemde Morteisen, CEO of Macharian Industries Corporation, we have several facilities in the Eternal Empire and I believe we share a mutual friend in the High Imperator."

The man offered a slight nod to the Empress, he was here to fuel the Eternal Empires industry as much as his own. His business was holding great interest in this world and the rights the Eternal Empire could grant as an ally.

He knew the other present people as well, especially Drayson even though he had never met him or done business with him and his business, but he knew his employer and his policies. Therefore it was in the interest of his corporation, Brentaal and more importantly, the Order to enforce some interests.

When Ivixa entered the practice area, Kessia walked into the control room to watch the events from there. This stretched over the rehearsal area, from where one could see down that part, and on the other hand, one could also follow the events through holographic images inside. So it was all perfect. The first part of the exam was fairly easy and simple, mainly looking at reaction time and the like.

The room system also transmitted data, performing a complete analysis of speed, efficiency, biological functions, reaction time, and all that. Perfect to analyze them later. Not to mention that these could be immediately compared to other data and values produced by others. That is, it was possible to determine how Ivixa performed relative to the other agents.

So far, she has progressed very well, so Kessia was also happy to watch the events and data that appeared alongside the live image. But it was really just a warm-up. And then they got to the harder point where a moral decision had to be made as well. Kessia was the person who would have killed the civilians as well, which is why the House L'lerim used her brainwashing not to do so. And of course the NIO and GA would kill the hostages, as was seen in the war…

So the question was legitimate, how would Ivixa act?

Near the South Equator
Primary Objective: Secure the Frigate
Secondary Objective: ???

Royal Squadron:
1x Chaos Medium Strike Walker
2x Vox Vong Light Skirmish Walker
2x Serpentine Medium Strike Walker

The cutting into the main frigate was going along schedule as something would start shaking the ground nearby again, almost like an earthquake. It would last for a few seconds before stopping, Callum would be startled in his chair as he looked around in the Chaos. In the corner of his eye, he noticed the sand shifting nearby as it would make a small hump and go around the frigate as someone spoke up.

"Something is out here..."
"No kidding...weapons ready."

There was another roll into the sand as they followed it with their weapons, watching it closely as even though there were on top of this frigate, who knows how badly it can shift it around to make it fall further into the sand. Turning a bit as his armored walker made a clang, the sand shook and rather quickly, erupted a very large worm like creature as one of his men screamed out in the communicator.

"SAND BURROWER!"

Then came the sudden and fast eruption of missiles, blasters and turbolaser fire as it struck the creature as it almost seemed like it was shrugging it off. Crying out loudly in agony, it leaned forward and grabbed one of the unmanned Vox Vongs with its mouth and swung to the side, smashing directly into the Serpentine as it flew off to the side. Falling completely down, it struggled to get up, only to get engulfed into the Sand Burrowers maw as it drug it under the sand as the missiles and blaster fire would end.

It was now suddenly quiet as there was a loud burping noise as they remained up top. One of their men was gone with one without an armored walker, trapped on this crashed frigate. Callum watched through the optics as he spoke out loud through the communicator.

"Nobody move! Those on the ground, board the Vox Vong...don't move it. Let me think of a plan...that thing is huge."

The mining rescue had not gone as planned, but Lilanna had done her best. She was a tad tired from the effort, but she still had somewhere to be; namely by her master's side. Her arrival at her masters ship indicated only one thing, the woman had gone to the mining companies headquaters for some unknown reason, and reaching out, she could feel a great deal of anger following her master much like a storm; there was a score to settle, but who and why, she wasn't entirely sure.
Lilanna made haste, and arrived at a scene that left her puzzled and frankly concerned. Several security units were moving into the main lobby, yet Lilanna could feel her masters power resonating within the building up ahead. There was something bigger at play. Lilanna moved forward, heels crunching under shattered glass and debris. Her armor allowed her to move past the perimeter that the outside guards had put in place, and it wasn't until she arrived in the lobby before someone dared to speak with her. The man who did, seemed to be a security officer; a tall Zabrak with a wicked scar down his cheek. He was ordering formations of his men, moving them towards the turbo lifts, before he went to speak with her. "Ah, a Warden. Good, we could use your help. Some Force using witch rushed inside and has been causing havoc. We got the place surrounded, but well....we aren't jedi. Think you could help us out?" He asked, clearly at ease, smiling like she would be willing to side with him. Lilanna's face didn't flinch, the Warden looking up to the building, and keeping her senses on her master. A wave of pain, anguish, rage, burst forth from the building, like a monsoon of emotion, and Lilanna felt it all at once. Her master was clearly in need of aid, and as the loyal apprentice, she would do what she came here to do.
Serve without question.
"Of course." She replied coldly. She slowly raised her hands, finding several of the officers in position held stun grenades, and quickly primed the explosives. her hand lashing out clocking the officer across the jaw, shattering his armored face guard and breaking his jaw bone in the process. The rest of the security team turned to attack, only for their stun grenades to go off, rendering many out of combat. Lilanna's saber was in hand now, the blade moving to block the first of many blaster shots, one of which she redirected into emergency lock down switch on the wall, prompting the blast doors at the front of the building to deploy, trapping her in the room with the squad, and keeping their backup locked outside.
She had to hurry, Nyxeris clearly needed her, and if she didn't move quickly, she felt she might be masterless once more.
She wouldn't allow for that.

"Surround her!"

"No! Get away from her, she's got a saber!"

"Deploy the grapple lines!"
Various shouts and commands came from what was left of the squad, but it wouldn't save them. Not this time. Lilanna rolled out of the way of one grapple line, and seized it with the force, redirecting it towards a soldier who had tried to strike her from behind with a vibro-sword. The sword holding guard was tangled and yanked off his feet by his bewildered comrade, and gave Lilanna another opening. She hurled her saber towards the man who had deployed the grapple line, the blade guided by her hand, as she shifted it to side, striking the man across the leg, but her aim was off. Instead of merely clipping him with the blade, she severed the limb clean off.
A miscalculation.
Her side stung, and the reason became clear as she glanced to the left and found one of the guards firing at her with his blaster rifle. A flash of anger came to her, and she began to move towards him, her saber in the middle of traveling back to her hand from across the room. She leapt at him, her fist coming down and striking the man across the face, right as he unleashed another shot into her chest, sending her backwards, and prompting her saber to fall to the floor, deactivated. Three guards remained, and they moved to put her down, the warden momentary stunned, as though her armor protected her, it didn't make her immune to pain.
Her danger sense flared, she rolled to the left, just as a series of blaster shots burned through the place she had just been laying. Re-actively, her Sith training took over, fatigue, pain, and fear seized her mind now, and she had to act fast. Her hands reached out, and seized the three by the neck, crushing the neckplates of their armored suits, their weapons clattering the floor as they struggled to breath, and Lilanna struggled to hold concentration. She clung to the storm of emotion within her, feeling it slipping, her power waning, and knowing that if she lapsed, these three would kill her.
Above, she could feel Nyxeris was finished, her power had been used, and her master was enroute to her now. She had bought her lady time if nothing else. Straining, her vision faltering, Lilanna waved her hands outward, her arms dropping as she could hold it no longer, and sending the three men flying about the room, their bodies not moving as they struck the floor. Dead or unconscious, she wasn't sure. A bacta injection went off in her suit, triggered by the flicker in her medical status, though it did little to ease the labored breathing she was having; until the oxygen reserve deployed. Pure oxygen nearly caused her to cough, the suit forcing it into her nostrils and lungs, as she slowly rose, just in time for Nyxeris seeing the carnage of the recent battle, and the blaster scorched armored apprentice who was the cause. "M-My lady." Lilanna would wheeze, bowing towards her master, nearly falling over as she did so.
She hadn't killed all of the guards, several were still unconcious from the stun grenades, but she had severally injured several. Though to Lilanna, that was no concern. She had served her lady as she thought right. She would do it again if need be.

LEAVE THE FACILITY
Tags: N Nyxeris
Seeing her master arrive, and with a cat of all things, gave Lilanna a sense of relief mixed with confusion. She said nothing as Nyxeris approached, in-spite of the fatigue she felt, the warden was determined to bare with it. It felt nice to have her efforts noticed however, trying to recall the last time someone showed appreciation for her work. It had certainly been a long time.
Nyxeris seemed to take focus with a woman who was crazy enough to stay in the building during this whole ordeal. Nyxeris wasn't the only one who was impressed by the display. Lilanna's eyes widened as her master mentioned taking over the company, which sent the warden on a pathway to confusion. She didn't question Nyxeris, but the woman would no doubt sense the confusion from her apprentice. This seemed a rather sudden approach to take, but Lilanna was certain she'd hear from her master about this soon. Moving to the woman's side, Lilanna offered a hand towards the woman, her plan of escape being simple; phase through the floor and take the utility tunnels. If Nyxeris took her hand, that was exactly what Lilanna would do, leaving the pair to leave without harassment from the security forces outside.
Lilanna knew a bit about business from her youth, her father had owned a profitable slaving trade for a time, and she still recalled a bit of the information from those days. She had to clear it up though, for the sake of herself if nothing else.
"Nyxeris, please don't tell me we are starting a business. I...know I said I'd do anything in your service, but I'm not one for board meetings."

Walking through the rather empty tunnels of the planet, Lilanna was left to contemplate the words of her mentor. They were investing in a company for some unknown reason she was just happy that she wouldn't be required to attend business conferences. Her steps slowed however, as she began to feel a drain on her power, having exerted too much of herself today. She stumbled, before catching herself, taking in a breath and righting herself. She couldn't afford to show weakness, not now. "As you wish my lady, I follow your command."
It seemed they had a great deal of things to accomplish, most of which Lilanna had no context for. "Where do we go now Nyxeris?" She asked, trying to conceal the fatigue that gnawed at her, the pain had faded thanks to the bacta, but she felt that she had pushed herself too hard with her force abilities this day.
With any luck, they'd soon be away from any potential searching parties, and be able to board the ship. They had alot of work to get done after all.

Ingrid and those present nodded at Morteisen. The High Imperator, yes, they really knew each other. And the woman turned to those present, after all, they were the ones who invited them here. She was also wondering what they might want.

"So, what do they want to discuss with us?" She asked.

The head of the delegation was an older human man, he was the one who started to speak.

"Your majesty, gentlemen! Thank you for coming here today. Y-yes… our request may not be so unique, as you have already taken advantage of this opportunity on countless other planets in the past. We want to maintain our independence as much as possible, trade with others, not become nationalized companies. In return for all this, we are willing to pay higher benefits or taxes. Call it what you want it to be. Respectively, for this independence, the Eternal Empire would receive discounts much greater than the other companies we trade with. Cheaper, if bought in large batches, lower shipping costs. We can guarantee that everyone would do well with all this."

He looked hopefully at Morteisen and then at Ingrid.

"I hope we can count on these like Takodana, Zakuul, or just Conglomeration Prime."

Speed.

The wheels turned quickly in the mind of the diminutive Blackwatch candidate, driving her to a solution as the situation played out before her eyes. The soldiers were already moving to seize hostages, which they would presumably utilize as a form of human shield, thereby making it more difficult for Ivixa to retaliate against them. As such, the Asa’ynx placed her rifle over her back, before taking out her disruptor pistol and moving to flank the enemy. Quick and quiet in motion, once she was behind the enemy, Ivixa pounced, squeezing the trigger to unleash a pair of shots at two enemy soldiers, dropping them in an instant as they moved to secure the potential hostages. Another soldier returned fire, but Ivixa threw herself behind cover just in time, the stun bolt whizzing over her head as she did.

Nevertheless, the Asa’nyx maintained her momentum, diving into another piece of cover before returning fire at the last group of soldiers, yet careful to check for civilians in the way. One of the soldiers closed in, seeking to engage her hand-to-hand where naturally, Ivixa would be at a severe disadvantage owing to her diminutive size. Fortunately, a bolt from her pistol caught him in the chest, just as he got within a meter of her position and raised his vibroblade, intent upon taking off her head.

Unfortunately, one of the remaining four soldiers tackled a running civilian, bringing the man to the ground before placing a gun to his head and hoisting him up in front of him as a shield. All the while, the other three focused their fire on Ivixa, intent upon keeping her stuck behind cover, or else risk having her head taken off...

Smart!

That was Kessia's first thought when she saw what Ivixa was doing. She thought it was a clever solution, she looked at a moment at the data that appeared on the holographic interface. Her values were still great, continued to watch with interest how the candidate, the girl would proceed. That was the critical point.

In the meantime, incoming data has also arrived that negotiations between the parties have begun down the planet and rescues have also begun at the area of the disaster. So at least she could send them to the right place for the right officers to deal with this matter later. She had other things to do now; to pay attention to the exam.

She issued the order that she would only be disturbed by other matters if something worth mentioning happened, another disaster, a problem, or something. Until that happens, she wants to focus and concentrate on this exam. That's why she looked at the monitors again. Ivixa got into a very interesting situation down there.

Interesting!

Ingrid listened with interest to the terms of the trial to see what the locals wanted. Yes, indeed there had been an example for this before that the Eternal Empire so decided. Although there was less danger in those places, the competent government would also trade with the enemies of the Eternal Empire. Or with those who want to harm the empire. The current situation was more delicate than that.

She glanced toward the door where D Darth Malus had arrived at that moment. The man had a rather ominous stance, the woman was sure he had not come to negotiate. Much more to intimidate, probably the locals. The Empress hoped all this would not happen and it would not be necessary. It would have been good to avoid trouble, as well as to have the products extracted in the Eternal Empire land on the wrong hands after this.

"Your request is understandable, but you must bear in mind that they will not be able to trade GA because we are still subject to an embargo. There is nothing like this with the NIO, although to the north it may be more difficult to trade because of the Maw because they will not be able to trade through the GA area in the current situation and will have to find another way. If they have no problem with that, then I have no objection to accepting your proposal."

"If we don’t accept it, the worse version could come, by suppressing our rights, with heavier taxes …"

"Yes, you see well, Counsellor!"

Now they were going to the planetary government? Curious. Lilanna raised an eyebrow, curious as to what her mentor was suggesting, and felt that there was a scheme that was now being put into motion. They would bring this world to heel of course, though Lilanna was curious as to just how many charges they would be facing if that were not the case. Regardless, they had somewhere they needed to be. Which meant getting out of the tunnels and back to the surface. She was at the limit of what she could do, her reserves were whittling down, but she still had a small bit left for another phase. They need only make it in a key location; after all, they needed a shuttle.
There was a simple fix for this of course, and Lilanna would go to it. Her vision blurred, as she reverted to her heat sensor, and glanced at the world up above. There were unique heat readings that would show where the nearest ship would be, and having narrowed one such location down using her range finder and heat indicators, the warden motioned for her master to continue following. "I think this route will get us closer to a shuttle, I can read the heat flair ups from the engines from here." She explained, leading her master down several twists and turns, before coming to a stop. "Master, I require your hand once more." She said plainly, offering her hand to Nyxeris, and pulling the force into her once more.
Her muscles began to crap, her vision blurring, as the force took hold and began to slip through her fingers like grains of sand. She had to be quick, no time to delay. Leaping upwards, Lilanna braced herself, as she and her master began to phase through the ground, coming up in a back alley, as it seemed the apprentice hadn't been quite as accurate as she had hoped. The nearest spaceport was several blocks away still, but Lilanna had other concerns. Her legs buckled, her body dropping to the floor, as she felt her body grow weak. She panted, her hands feebly moving to detach her helmet, as the medical systems began to flair up as her vitals dipped enough to raise an alarm. Her helmet detached, and with it, the illusion of her appearance was no more. She took in several breaths, her strength returning, though not steadily enough. She tried frantically to wave off Nyxeris, wanting to assure her mentor that she was fine. "I-I only exerted myself, please, just, don't worry my lady. I can still preform my duties." She attempted to sit up, wincing as it took far more energy than she had anticipated.

Ingrid always, in all situations, tried to remain polite; that is why she also nodded respectfully towards Malus, then waited for the delegation to react. She felt she had offered a completely fair deal with this. Many would think otherwise, but the locals would definitely win with it. It may not have been possible to trade to the Alliance, but everything else was quite optional. The Maw was the only thing that could not be bypassed.

"But of course you can expect the Eternal Empire to protect the planet as it will be a part of it. As we eradicate poverty in every place, the population gets protection if you want it and does not want corporate armies to protect the place. You can keep your corporate army, an armed corps that would not otherwise be possible. But you certainly know this if you tracked what happened on the other planets."

It was also in the interest of the Eternal Empire for the planets to be as cooperative as possible. Subjugation may have been cheaper in the short run, but later the suppression of ongoing rebellions and the consolidation of power consumed huge sums. If the planet cooperated, it was much more economical.

"So it's really up to you. The other planets were given exactly the same conditions. Of course, we will agree on the exact details with the help of the lawyers."

This was certainly a surprise, not being punished for having exhausted herself. Finding her master beside her on the ground, Lilanna managed a small smile, but would in time find strength enough to rise. They still had a task to preform, and she would see it done. She steadied herself, her legs trembling, but with the help of Nyxeris, she would make it to her feet. It was odd, to show weakness and not be beaten like a dog for it. She was grateful to her master for such a thing. Something she would have to remember as they continued their adventures together.
The pair would indeed find their shuttle, and prepare for the upcoming ceremony; though Lilanna's warden armor was a little worse for wear, it was nothing a small amount of buffing and cleaning couldn't do away with. As the pair waited in their shuttle bay however, Lilanna felt compelled to ask her master, unsure as to what exactly awaited them. "My lady, I question your attack on the company, but for one reason only." She paused, her expression tight, trying how best to convey her thoughts, before just pushing on ahead. "Do we have a hidden enemy? Your...use of power at the building moments ago, it seemed rather excessive given the foe we encountered." She was lacking in the details after all, something Nyxeris would need to fill her in on in the days to come.
But there was time, time enough for their trust to continue to blossom.

[ Solitude ]

There was nervousness in one half of the room, cool calm in the other. The Empress of the Eternal Empire waited in silence for an answer. She was pretty confident that she would get an affirmative answer. The locals didn't want any war either, she was pretty sure of that. After all, who wants it if they can avoid it? As she heard the other delegates speak as they whispered to each other, they also seemed to accept the offer. It would be great to say it out loud, that would mean her work is finished here.

What would she do in such a situation? Still didn't know. She hoped this would never turn out because she would not be in a situation like this. The other two men, the two envoys, and the third, who stood in the doorway, still said nothing. And she didn't look threatening, she was just a marble statue. It took about five to six minutes before the man representing the locals finally turned to the Empress again.

"We accept the opportunity offered, your Majesty! We are ready to accept this and to continue negotiations on the exact details."

"Glad to hear, it's great. The best possible decision was made on this issue."

She looked out at one of the bodyguards accompanying her, who nodded and sent a message to someone on the comm. channel.

"Lawyers and diplomats arrive within minutes, so we can start the exact wording of the contract."

Now pinned down, the Blackwatch candidate was forced to think quickly as she tried to work out a solution to her predicament, all while under fire and with civilians (Even if fake ones), in danger. Even now, when she was seemingly ensnared within the clamping jaws of failure, Ivixa did not intend to accept defeat. Her body tensed as one of the soldiers advanced on her position, their footsteps loud and clear to the diminutive Asa’nyx owing to her keen and sensitive ears. No doubt, her hearing was extremely sharp, but in contemplating how she would turn the engagement around, Ivixa immediately realized that she had never used her hearing to essentially help her aim a gun, before.

Nevertheless, she would not fail to seize an opportunity, no matter how remote or seemingly implausible.

Closing her eyes for a brief moment, Ivixa focused only on what she could hear, the sound of blasters going off, footsteps, and shouts. In her awareness, she gathered the rough locations of the remaining four enemy soldiers, along with ten civilians.

Then, she opened her eyes.

Holding her breath tight in her chest, Ivixa waited for a break in the hail of fire raining down on her position, before popping out of cover with her pistol pointed towards the closest enemy soldier, its aim having been effectively guided with her ears. Squeezing the trigger, Ivixa fired off a pair of shots, striking the soldier before switching to her next target, double-tapping him as well. The third soldier was ostensibly caught off-guard by the feat of preternatural marksmanship, making him an easy target as Ivixa shot him once, in the skull.

It all happened within the span of less than two seconds, leaving the last soldier, the one who had captured a civilian and was holding a gun to the man’s head, thoroughly panicked in witnessing his comrades cut down with such speed and brutality. Now, Ivixa faced him, her pistol pointed at his head. In response, the soldier held the civilian even closer, his stunningly realistic features tense as he threatened the man’s life.

“Let the man go and surrender.” She intoned, her large ears moving ever so slightly as the words left her lips, all while blinking a few times in the direction of the civilians.

“You have no leverage. How about you drop the gun and I’ll let him go!”

Ivixa’s ears twitched again.

“She said, drop the gun and let him go!”

A feminine voice manifested behind the soldier, one of the civilians who after receiving the signals from Ivixa, had taken up a gun from one of his fallen comrades and now had it pointed at the back of the soldier’s head.

Not a moment later, the soldier did exactly as he was told.

Kessia continued to watch the events get tighter and harder. She wondered how the girl would solve all this, but in the end she solved this issue in a very good and creative way. And it was time to make the show... the test a little more exciting. Of course, she couldn’t have complained about it until now, because Ivixa was very clever, but she needed chaos and unpredictability at this moment.

The woman pressed a button on the console that started a subroutine. The civilian may have appeared to be a Force user, or Force Sensitive person, because the weapon put down by the soldier suddenly flew into the hostage's hands. This was solved with a simple magnet and a barely noticeable wire cable, since a droid could not be a Force User. It had to be improvised as much as possible, and this solution was the closest to what had to be simulated.

And the point is, all of this can lead to very special situations. This was the last point in the exam on how the candidate is able to handle such a situation. Kessia watched the events with interest, the entire chain of events was just a few seconds, one or two maybe. So the moment the pistol fell into the hands of the hostage, they immediately shot at Ivixa.

Up in the observation room, Kessia raised an eyebrow.
