SPECIAL FEATURES

STRENGTHS
  • Strike Now!: This walker is rather deadly to those who are not on the right end, using the element of surprise to take out foes or to quickly dart in and out of combat before moving away.
  • Targets Acquired, Firing on All: One of the more unique functions is the ability to target multiple enemy units before firing the missile system. Effectively, even if outmatched it can possibly win the fight if the trigger is pulled fast enough.
WEAKNESSES
  • Shoot the Joints!: The joints are easily seen and a few good placed shots will tear through them and disable the armored walkers leg, effectively making it useless in movement.
  • Ammunition Dependent: Everyone runs on ammo, missiles to shells. Once they are out, the Serpentine becomes useless in combat and has to return home.
DESCRIPTION
Serpentine was one of the last designs to come out before lifting off-world. Realizing the need for fast mobile strike armored walkers, the designers updated a very old fledging design that did not do so well almost two hundred years ago, known as the Serpentine. The armored walker consisted of using multiple missile systems though at the time, storage was a large problem factor and was shelved due to it, given the ammunition capacity and how power drained quickly upon firing them once. With the new update, the original repeaters were replaced with new Rippers, allowing to put strain away from the power supply though giving a new meaning for requiring ammo.

With it solved, the updates to even the missile system would be worked on, quickly it became apparent how much more deadly it has become with the Neurocrown and Minerva Hud System combined. It could now register multiple targets before firing for full effect, effectively almost making it a support model. Due to this, another walker went into design planning and may come out after some more credits were influxed into the Court of Blades. Till then, the design that started it all, the Serpentine will do just fine...even though it has no shield system now.
